約伯記 24

全能者既定期罰惡， 為何不使認識他的人看見那日子呢？

quán néng zhě jì dìng qī fá è ， wèi hé bù shǐ rèn shi tā de rén kàn jiàn nà rì zi ne ？

“Why aren’t times laid up by the Almighty? Why don’t those who know him see his days?

有人挪移地界， 搶奪群畜而牧養。

yǒu rén nuó yí dì jiè ， qiǎng duó qún chù ér mù yǎng 。

There are people who remove the landmarks. They violently take away flocks, and feed them.

他們拉去孤兒的驢， 強取寡婦的牛為當頭。

tā men lā qù gū ér de lǘ ， qiáng qǔ guǎ fù de niú wèi dāng tóu 。

They drive away the donkey of the fatherless, and they take the widow’s ox for a pledge.

他們使窮人離開正道； 世上的貧民盡都隱藏。

tā men shǐ qióng rén lí kāi zhèng dào ； shì shàng de pín mín jìn dōu yǐn cáng 。

They turn the needy out of the way. The poor of the earth all hide themselves.

這些貧窮人如同野驢出到曠野，殷勤尋找食物； 他們靠着野地給兒女糊口，

zhè xiē pín qióng rén rú tóng yě lǘ chū dào kuàng yě ， yīn qín xún zhǎo shí wù ； tā men kào zhe yě dì gěi ér nǚ hú kǒu ，

Behold, as wild donkeys in the desert, they go out to their work, seeking diligently for food. The wilderness yields them bread for their children.

收割別人田間的禾稼， 摘取惡人餘剩的葡萄，

shōu gē bié rén tián jiān de hé jià ， zhāi qǔ è rén yú shèng de pú táo ，

They cut their food in the field. They glean the vineyard of the wicked.

終夜赤身無衣， 天氣寒冷毫無遮蓋，

zhōng yè chì shēn wú yī ， tiān qì hán lěng háo wú zhē gài ，

They lie all night naked without clothing, and have no covering in the cold.

在山上被大雨淋濕， 因沒有避身之處就挨近磐石。

zài shān shàng bèi dà yǔ lín shī ， yīn méi yǒu bì shēn zhī chù jiù āi jìn pán shí 。

They are wet with the showers of the mountains, and embrace the rock for lack of a shelter.

又有人從母懷中搶奪孤兒， 強取窮人的衣服為當頭，

yòu yǒu rén cóng mǔ huái zhōng qiǎng duó gū ér ， qiáng qǔ qióng rén de yī fu wèi dāng tóu ，

There are those who pluck the fatherless from the breast, and take a pledge of the poor,

使人赤身無衣，到處流行， 且因飢餓扛抬禾捆，

shǐ rén chì shēn wú yī ， dào chù liú xíng ， qiě yīn jī è káng tái hé kǔn ，

so that they go around naked without clothing. Being hungry, they carry the sheaves.

在那些人的圍牆內造油，醡酒， 自己還口渴。

zài nà xiē rén de wéi qiáng nèi zào yóu ， zhà jiǔ ， zì jǐ hái kǒu kě 。

They make oil within the walls of these men. They tread wine presses, and suffer thirst.

在多民的城內有人唉哼， 受傷的人哀號； 上帝卻不理會那惡人的愚妄。

zài duō mín de chéng nèi yǒu rén ài hēng ， shòu shāng de rén āi háo ； shén què bù lǐ huì nà è rén de yú wàng 。

From out of the populous city, men groan. The soul of the wounded cries out, yet God doesn’t regard the folly.

又有人背棄光明， 不認識光明的道， 不住在光明的路上。

yòu yǒu rén bèi qì guāng míng ， bú rèn shi guāng míng de dào ， bú zhù zài guāng míng de lù shang 。

“These are of those who rebel against the light. They don’t know its ways, nor stay in its paths.

殺人的黎明起來， 殺害困苦窮乏人， 夜間又作盜賊。

shā rén de lí míng qǐ lái ， shā hài kùn kǔ qióng fá rén ， yè jiān yòu zuò dào zéi 。

The murderer rises with the light. He kills the poor and needy. In the night he is like a thief.

姦夫等候黃昏， 說：必無眼能見我， 就把臉蒙蔽。

jiān fū děng hòu huáng hūn ， shuō ： bì wú yǎn néng jiàn wǒ ， jiù bǎ liǎn méng bì 。

The eye also of the adulterer waits for the twilight, saying, ‘No eye will see me.’ He disguises his face.

盜賊黑夜挖窟窿； 白日躲藏， 並不認識光明。

dào zéi hēi yè wā kū lóng ； bái rì duǒ cáng ， bìng bú rèn shi guāng míng 。

In the dark they dig through houses. They shut themselves up in the daytime. They don’t know the light.

他們看早晨如幽暗， 因為他們曉得幽暗的驚駭。

tā men kàn zǎo chén rú yōu àn ， yīn wèi tā men xiǎo de yōu àn de jīng hài 。

For the morning is to all of them like thick darkness, for they know the terrors of the thick darkness.

這些惡人猶如浮萍快快飄去。 他們所得的分在世上被咒詛； 他們不得再走葡萄園的路。

zhè xiē è rén yóu rú fú píng kuài kuài piāo qù 。 tā men suǒ dé de fēn zài shì shàng bèi zhòu zǔ ； tā men bù dé zài zǒu pú táo yuán de lù 。

“They are foam on the surface of the waters. Their portion is cursed in the earth. They don’t turn into the way of the vineyards.

乾旱炎熱消沒雪水； 陰間也如此消沒犯罪之輩。

gān hàn yán rè xiāo méi xuě shuǐ ； yīn jiān yě rú cǐ xiāo méi fàn zuì zhī bèi 。

Drought and heat consume the snow waters, so does Sheol those who have sinned.

懷他的母 要忘記他； 蟲子要吃他，覺得甘甜； 他不再被人記念。 不義的人必如樹折斷。

huái tā de mǔ yào wàng jì tā ； chóng zǐ yào chī tā ， jué dé gān tián ； tā bú zài bèi rén jì niàn 。 bú yì de rén bì rú shù zhé duàn 。

The womb will forget him. The worm will feed sweetly on him. He will be no more remembered. Unrighteousness will be broken as a tree.

他惡待 不懷孕不生養的婦人， 不善待寡婦。

tā è dài bù huái yùn bù shēng yǎng de fù rén ， bú shàn dài guǎ fù 。

He devours the barren who don’t bear. He shows no kindness to the widow.

然而上帝用能力保全有勢力的人； 那性命難保的人仍然興起。

rán ér shén yòng néng lì bǎo quán yǒu shì lì de rén ； nà xìng mìng nán bǎo de rén réng rán xīng qǐ 。

Yet God preserves the mighty by his power. He rises up who has no assurance of life.

上帝使他們安穩，他們就有所倚靠； 上帝的眼目也看顧他們的道路。

shén shǐ tā men ān wěn ， tā men jiù yǒu suǒ yǐ kào ； shén de yǎn mù yě kàn gù tā men de dào lù 。

God gives them security, and they rest in it. His eyes are on their ways.

他們被高舉，不過片時就沒有了； 他們降為卑，被除滅，與眾人一樣， 又如穀穗被割。

tā men bèi gāo jǔ ， bú guò piàn shí jiù méi yǒu le ； tā men jiàng wèi bēi ， bèi chú miè ， yǔ zhòng rén yí yàng ， yòu rú gǔ suì bèi gē 。

They are exalted; yet a little while, and they are gone. Yes, they are brought low, they are taken out of the way as all others, and are cut off as the tops of the ears of grain.

若不是這樣，誰能證實我是說謊的， 將我的言語駁為虛空呢？

ruò bú shì zhè yàng ， shuí néng zhèng shí wǒ shì shuō huǎng de ， jiāng wǒ de yán yǔ bó wèi xū kōng ne ？

If it isn’t so now, who will prove me a liar, and make my speech worth nothing?”
