約伯記 25

書亞人比勒達回答說：

shū yà rén bǐ lè dá huí dá shuō ：

Then Bildad the Shuhite answered,

上帝有治理之權，有威嚴可畏； 他在高處施行和平。

shén yǒu zhì lǐ zhī quán ， yǒu wēi yán kě wèi ； tā zài gāo chù shī xíng hé píng 。

“Dominion and fear are with him. He makes peace in his high places.

他的諸軍豈能數算？ 他的光亮一發，誰不蒙照呢？

tā de zhū jūn qǐ néng shù suàn ？ tā de guāng liàng yì fā ， shuí bù méng zhào ne ？

Can his armies be counted? On whom does his light not arise?

這樣在上帝面前，人怎能稱義？ 婦人所生的怎能潔淨？

zhè yàng zài shén miàn qián ， rén zěn néng chēng yì ？ fù rén suǒ shēng de zěn néng jié jìng ？

How then can man be just with God? Or how can he who is born of a woman be clean?

在上帝眼前，月亮也無光亮， 星宿也不清潔。

zài shén yǎn qián ， yuè liàng yě wú guāng liàng ， xīng xiù yě bù qīng jié 。

Behold, even the moon has no brightness, and the stars are not pure in his sight;

何況如蟲的人， 如蛆的世人呢！

hé kuàng rú chóng de rén ， rú qū de shì rén ne ！

How much less man, who is a worm, and the son of man, who is a worm!”
