約珥書 1

耶和華的話臨到毗土珥的兒子約珥。

yē hé huá de huà lín dào pí tǔ ěr de ér zi yuē ěr 。

The LORD’s word that came to Joel, the son of Pethuel.

老年人哪，當聽我的話； 國中的居民哪，都要側耳而聽。 在你們的日子， 或你們列祖的日子， 曾有這樣的事嗎？

lǎo nián rén nǎ ， dāng tīng wǒ de huà ； guó zhōng de jū mín nǎ ， dōu yào cè ěr ér tīng 。 zài nǐ men de rì zi ， huò nǐ men liè zǔ de rì zi ， céng yǒu zhè yàng de shì ma ？

Hear this, you elders, and listen, all you inhabitants of the land! Has this ever happened in your days, or in the days of your fathers?

你們要將這事傳與子， 子傳與孫， 孫傳與後代。

nǐ men yào jiāng zhè shì chuán yǔ zǐ ， zǐ chuán yǔ sūn ， sūn chuán yǔ hòu dài 。

Tell your children about it, and have your children tell their children, and their children, another generation.

剪蟲剩下的，蝗蟲來吃； 蝗蟲剩下的，蝻子來吃； 蝻子剩下的，螞蚱來吃。

jiǎn chóng shèng xià de ， huáng chóng lái chī ； huáng chóng shèng xià de ， nǎn zǐ lái chī ； nǎn zǐ shèng xià de ， mà zha lái chī 。

What the swarming locust has left, the great locust has eaten. What the great locust has left, the grasshopper has eaten. What the grasshopper has left, the caterpillar has eaten.

酒醉的人哪，要清醒哭泣； 好酒的人哪，都要為甜酒哀號， 因為從你們的口中斷絕了。

jiǔ zuì de rén nǎ ， yào qīng xǐng kū qì ； hǎo jiǔ de rén nǎ ， dōu yào wèi tián jiǔ āi háo ， yīn wèi cóng nǐ men de kǒu zhōng duàn jué le 。

Wake up, you drunkards, and weep! Wail, all you drinkers of wine, because of the sweet wine, for it is cut off from your mouth.

有一隊蝗蟲 又強盛又無數， 侵犯我的地； 牠的牙齒如獅子的牙齒， 大牙如母獅的大牙。

yǒu yí duì huáng chóng yòu qiáng shèng yòu wú shù ， qīn fàn wǒ de dì ； tā de yá chǐ rú shī zi de yá chǐ ， dà yá rú mǔ shī de dà yá 。

For a nation has come up on my land, strong, and without number. His teeth are the teeth of a lion, and he has the fangs of a lioness.

牠毀壞我的葡萄樹， 剝了我無花果樹的皮， 剝盡而丟棄，使枝條露白。

tā huǐ huài wǒ de pú táo shù ， bāo le wǒ wú huā guǒ shù de pí ， bāo jìn ér diū qì ， shǐ zhī tiáo lù bái 。

He has laid my vine waste, and stripped my fig tree. He has stripped its bark, and thrown it away. Its branches are made white.

我的民哪，你當哀號，像處女腰束麻布， 為幼年的丈夫哀號。

wǒ de mín nǎ ， nǐ dāng āi háo ， xiàng chǔ nǚ yāo shù má bù ， wèi yòu nián de zhàng fu āi háo 。

Mourn like a virgin dressed in sackcloth for the husband of her youth!

素祭和奠祭從耶和華的殿中斷絕； 事奉耶和華的祭司都悲哀。

sù jì hé diàn jì cóng yē hé huá de diàn zhōng duàn jué ； shì fèng yē hé huá de jì sī dōu bēi āi 。

The meal offering and the drink offering are cut off from the LORD’s house. The priests, the LORD’s ministers, mourn.

田荒涼，地悲哀； 因為五穀毀壞， 新酒乾竭，油也缺乏。

tián huāng liáng ， dì bēi āi ； yīn wèi wǔ gǔ huǐ huài ， xīn jiǔ gān jié ， yóu yě quē fá 。

The field is laid waste. The land mourns, for the grain is destroyed, The new wine has dried up, and the oil languishes.

農夫啊，你們要慚愧； 修理葡萄園的啊，你們要哀號； 因為大麥小麥與田間的莊稼都滅絕了。

nóng fū a ， nǐ men yào cán kuì ； xiū lǐ pú táo yuán de a ， nǐ men yào āi háo ； yīn wèi dà mài xiǎo mài yǔ tián jiān de zhuāng jia dōu miè jué le 。

Be confounded, you farmers! Wail, you vineyard keepers, for the wheat and for the barley; for the harvest of the field has perished.

葡萄樹枯乾； 無花果樹衰殘。 石榴樹、棕樹、蘋果樹， 連田野一切的樹木也都枯乾； 眾人的喜樂盡都消滅。

pú táo shù kū gān ； wú huā guǒ shù shuāi cán 。 shí liú shù 、 zōng shù 、 píng guǒ shù ， lián tián yě yí qiè de shù mù yě dōu kū gān ； zhòng rén de xǐ lè jìn dōu xiāo miè 。

The vine has dried up, and the fig tree withered— the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all of the trees of the field are withered; for joy has withered away from the sons of men.

祭司啊，你們當腰束麻布痛哭； 伺候祭壇的啊，你們要哀號； 事奉我上帝的啊，你們要來披上麻布過夜， 因為素祭和奠祭從你們上帝的殿中斷絕了。

jì sī a ， nǐ men dāng yāo shù má bù tòng kū ； cì hou jì tán de a ， nǐ men yào āi háo ； shì fèng wǒ shén de a ， nǐ men yào lái pī shàng má bù guò yè ， yīn wèi sù jì hé diàn jì cóng nǐ men shén de diàn zhōng duàn jué le 。

Put on sackcloth and mourn, you priests! Wail, you ministers of the altar. Come, lie all night in sackcloth, you ministers of my God, for the meal offering and the drink offering are withheld from your God’s house.

你們要分定禁食的日子， 宣告嚴肅會， 招聚長老和國中的一切居民 到耶和華－你們上帝的殿， 向耶和華哀求。

nǐ men yào fēn dìng jìn shí de rì zi ， xuān gào yán sù huì ， zhāo jù zhǎng lǎo hé guó zhōng de yí qiè jū mín dào yē hé huá — nǐ men shén de diàn ， xiàng yē hé huá āi qiú 。

Sanctify a fast. Call a solemn assembly. Gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land to the house of the LORD, your God, and cry to the LORD.

哀哉！耶和華的日子臨近了。 這日來到，好像毀滅從全能者來到。

āi zāi ！ yē hé huá de rì zi lín jìn le 。 zhè rì lái dào ， hǎo xiàng huǐ miè cóng quán néng zhě lái dào 。

Alas for the day! For the day of the LORD is at hand, and it will come as destruction from the Almighty.

糧食不是在我們眼前斷絕了嗎？ 歡喜快樂不是從我們上帝的殿中止息了嗎？

liáng shí bú shì zài wǒ men yǎn qián duàn jué le ma ？ huān xǐ kuài lè bú shì cóng wǒ men shén de diàn zhōng zhǐ xī le ma ？

Isn’t the food cut off before our eyes, joy and gladness from the house of our God?

穀種在土塊下朽爛； 倉也荒涼，廩也破壞； 因為五穀枯乾了。

gǔ zhǒng zài tǔ kuài xià xiǔ làn ； cāng yě huāng liáng ， lǐn yě pò huài ； yīn wèi wǔ gǔ kū gān le 。

The seeds rot under their clods. The granaries are laid desolate. The barns are broken down, for the grain has withered.

牲畜哀鳴； 牛群混亂，因為無草； 羊群也受了困苦。

shēng chù āi míng ； niú qún hùn luàn ， yīn wèi wú cǎo ； yáng qún yě shòu le kùn kǔ 。

How the animals groan! The herds of livestock are perplexed, because they have no pasture. Yes, the flocks of sheep are made desolate.

耶和華啊，我向你求告， 因為火燒滅曠野的草場； 火焰燒盡田野的樹木。

yē hé huá a ， wǒ xiàng nǐ qiú gào ， yīn wèi huǒ shāo miè kuàng yě de cǎo chǎng ； huǒ yàn shāo jìn tián yě de shù mù 。

LORD, I cry to you, for the fire has devoured the pastures of the wilderness, and the flame has burned all the trees of the field.

田野的走獸向你發喘； 因為溪水乾涸， 火也燒滅曠野的草場。

tián yě de zǒu shòu xiàng nǐ fā chuǎn ； yīn wèi xī shuǐ gān hé ， huǒ yě shāo miè kuàng yě de cǎo chǎng 。

Yes, the animals of the field pant to you, for the water brooks have dried up, and the fire has devoured the pastures of the wilderness.
