約翰福音 14

「你們心裏不要憂愁；你們信上帝，也當信我。

「 nǐ men xīn lǐ bú yào yōu chóu ； nǐ men xìn shén ， yě dāng xìn wǒ 。

“Don’t let your heart be troubled. Believe in God. Believe also in me.

在我父的家裏有許多住處；若是沒有，我就早已告訴你們了。我去原是為你們預備地方去。

zài wǒ fù de jiā lǐ yǒu xǔ duō zhù chù ； ruò shì méi yǒu ， wǒ jiù zǎo yǐ gào sù nǐ men le 。 wǒ qù yuán shì wèi nǐ men yù bèi dì fāng qù 。

In my Father’s house are many homes. If it weren’t so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you.

我若去為你們預備了地方，就必再來接你們到我那裏去，我在哪裏，叫你們也在那裏。

wǒ ruò qù wèi nǐ men yù bèi le dì fāng ， jiù bì zài lái jiē nǐ men dào wǒ nà lǐ qù ， wǒ zài nǎ lǐ ， jiào nǐ men yě zài nà lǐ 。

If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will receive you to myself; that where I am, you may be there also.

我往哪裏去，你們知道；那條路，你們也知道 。」

wǒ wǎng nǎ lǐ qù ， nǐ men zhī dào ； nà tiáo lù ， nǐ men yě zhī dào 。」

You know where I go, and you know the way.”

多馬對他說：「主啊，我們不知道你往哪裏去，怎麼知道那條路呢？」

duō mǎ duì tā shuō ：「 zhǔ a ， wǒ men bù zhī dào nǐ wǎng nǎ lǐ qù ， zěn me zhī dào nà tiáo lù ne ？」

Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going. How can we know the way?”

耶穌說：「我就是道路、真理、生命；若不藉着我，沒有人能到父那裏去。

yē sū shuō ：「 wǒ jiù shì dào lù 、 zhēn lǐ 、 shēng mìng ； ruò bú jiè zhe wǒ ， méi yǒu rén néng dào fù nà lǐ qù 。

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

你們若認識我，也就認識我的父。從今以後，你們認識他，並且已經看見他。」

nǐ men ruò rèn shi wǒ ， yě jiù rèn shí wǒ de fù 。 cóng jīn yǐ hòu ， nǐ men rèn shi tā ， bìng qiě yǐ jīng kàn jiàn tā 。」

If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on, you know him and have seen him.”

腓力對他說：「求主將父顯給我們看，我們就知足了。」

féi lì duì tā shuō ：「 qiú zhǔ jiàng fù xiǎn gěi wǒ men kàn ， wǒ men jiù zhī zú le 。」

Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, and that will be enough for us.”

耶穌對他說：「腓力，我與你們同在這樣長久，你還不認識我嗎？人看見了我，就是看見了父；你怎麼說『將父顯給我們看』呢？

yē sū duì tā shuō ：「 féi lì ， wǒ yǔ nǐ men tóng zài zhè yàng cháng jiǔ ， nǐ hái bú rèn shi wǒ ma ？ rén kàn jiàn le wǒ ， jiù shì kàn jiàn le fù ； nǐ zěn me shuō 『 jiāng fù xiǎn gěi wǒ men kàn 』 ne ？

Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you such a long time, and do you not know me, Philip? He who has seen me has seen the Father. How do you say, ‘Show us the Father’?

我在父裏面，父在我裏面，你不信嗎？我對你們所說的話，不是憑着自己說的，乃是住在我裏面的父做他自己的事。

wǒ zài fù lǐ miàn ， fù zài wǒ lǐ miàn ， nǐ bú xìn ma ？ wǒ duì nǐ men suǒ shuō de huà ， bú shì píng zhe zì jǐ shuō de ， nǎi shì zhù zài wǒ lǐ miàn de fù zuò tā zì jǐ de shì 。

Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I tell you, I speak not from myself; but the Father who lives in me does his works.

你們當信我，我在父裏面，父在我裏面；即或不信，也當因我所做的事信我。

nǐ men dāng xìn wǒ ， wǒ zài fù lǐ miàn ， fù zài wǒ lǐ miàn ； jí huò bú xìn ， yě dāng yīn wǒ suǒ zuò de shì xìn wǒ 。

Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me; or else believe me for the very works’ sake.

我實實在在地告訴你們，我所做的事，信我的人也要做，並且要做比這更大的事，因為我往父那裏去。

wǒ shí shí zài zài dì gào sù nǐ men ， wǒ suǒ zuò de shì ， xìn wǒ de rén yě yào zuò ， bìng qiě yào zuò bǐ zhè gèng dà de shì ， yīn wèi wǒ wǎng fù nà lǐ qù 。

Most certainly I tell you, he who believes in me, the works that I do, he will do also; and he will do greater works than these, because I am going to my Father.

你們奉我的名無論求甚麼，我必成就，叫父因兒子得榮耀。

nǐ men fèng wǒ de míng wú lùn qiú shén me ， wǒ bì chéng jiù ， jiào fù yīn ér zi dé róng yào 。

Whatever you will ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

你們若奉我的名求甚麼，我必成就。」

nǐ men ruò fèng wǒ de míng qiú shén me ， wǒ bì chéng jiù 。」

If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.

「你們若愛我，就必遵守我的命令。

「 nǐ men ruò ài wǒ ， jiù bì zūn shǒu wǒ de mìng lìng 。

If you love me, keep my commandments.

我要求父，父就另外賜給你們一位保惠師 ，叫他永遠與你們同在，

wǒ yāo qiú fù ， fù jiù lìng wài cì gěi nǐ men yí wèi bǎo huì shī ， jiào tā yǒng yuǎn yǔ nǐ men tóng zài ，

I will pray to the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, that he may be with you forever:

就是真理的聖靈，乃世人不能接受的；因為不見他，也不認識他。你們卻認識他，因他常與你們同在，也要在你們裏面。

jiù shì zhēn lǐ de shèng líng ， nǎi shì rén bù néng jiē shòu de ； yīn wèi bú jiàn tā ， yě bú rèn shi tā 。 nǐ men què rèn shi tā ， yīn tā cháng yǔ nǐ men tóng zài ， yě yào zài nǐ men lǐ miàn 。

the Spirit of truth, whom the world can’t receive, for it doesn’t see him and doesn’t know him. You know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.

我不撇下你們為孤兒，我必到你們這裏來。

wǒ bù piě xià nǐ men wèi gū ér ， wǒ bì dào nǐ men zhè lǐ lái 。

I will not leave you orphans. I will come to you.

還有不多的時候，世人不再看見我，你們卻看見我；因為我活着，你們也要活着。

hái yǒu bù duō de shí hòu ， shì rén bú zài kàn jiàn wǒ ， nǐ men què kàn jiàn wǒ ； yīn wèi wǒ huó zhe ， nǐ men yě yào huó zhe 。

Yet a little while, and the world will see me no more; but you will see me. Because I live, you will live also.

到那日，你們就知道我在父裏面，你們在我裏面，我也在你們裏面。

dào nà rì ， nǐ men jiù zhī dào wǒ zài fù lǐ miàn ， nǐ men zài wǒ lǐ miàn ， wǒ yě zài nǐ men lǐ miàn 。

In that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you.

有了我的命令又遵守的，這人就是愛我的；愛我的必蒙我父愛他，我也要愛他，並且要向他顯現。」

yǒu le wǒ de mìng lìng yòu zūn shǒu de ， zhè rén jiù shì ài wǒ de ； ài wǒ de bì méng wǒ fù ài tā ， wǒ yě yào ài tā ， bìng qiě yào xiàng tā xiǎn xiàn 。」

One who has my commandments and keeps them, that person is one who loves me. One who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him, and will reveal myself to him.”

猶大（不是加略人猶大）問耶穌說：「主啊，為甚麼要向我們顯現，不向世人顯現呢？」

yóu dà （ bú shì jiā lüè rén yóu dà ） wèn yē sū shuō ：「 zhǔ a ， wèi shén me yào xiàng wǒ men xiǎn xiàn ， bú xiàng shì rén xiǎn xiàn ne ？」

Judas (not Iscariot) said to him, “Lord, what has happened that you are about to reveal yourself to us, and not to the world?”

耶穌回答說：「人若愛我，就必遵守我的道；我父也必愛他，並且我們要到他那裏去，與他同住。

yē sū huí dá shuō ：「 rén ruò ài wǒ ， jiù bì zūn shǒu wǒ de dào ； wǒ fù yě bì ài tā ， bìng qiě wǒ men yào dào tā nà lǐ qù ， yǔ tā tóng zhù 。

Jesus answered him, “If a man loves me, he will keep my word. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.

不愛我的人就不遵守我的道。你們所聽見的道不是我的，乃是差我來之父的道。

bú ài wǒ de rén jiù bù zūn shǒu wǒ de dào 。 nǐ men suǒ tīng jiàn de dào bú shì wǒ de ， nǎi shì chà wǒ lái zhī fù de dào 。

He who doesn’t love me doesn’t keep my words. The word which you hear isn’t mine, but the Father’s who sent me.

「我還與你們同住的時候，已將這些話對你們說了。

「 wǒ hái yǔ nǐ men tóng zhù de shí hòu ， yǐ jiāng zhè xiē huà duì nǐ men shuō le 。

“I have said these things to you while still living with you.

但保惠師，就是父因我的名所要差來的聖靈，他要將一切的事指教你們，並且要叫你們想起我對你們所說的一切話。

dàn bǎo huì shī ， jiù shì fù yīn wǒ de míng suǒ yào chà lái de shèng líng ， tā yào jiāng yí qiè de shì zhǐ jiào nǐ men ， bìng qiě yào jiào nǐ men xiǎng qǐ wǒ duì nǐ men suǒ shuō de yí qiè huà 。

But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you.

我留下平安給你們；我將我的平安賜給你們。我所賜的，不像世人所賜的。你們心裏不要憂愁，也不要膽怯。

wǒ liú xià píng ān gěi nǐ men ； wǒ jiāng wǒ de píng ān cì gěi nǐ men 。 wǒ suǒ cì de ， bú xiàng shì rén suǒ cì de 。 nǐ men xīn lǐ bú yào yōu chóu ， yě bú yào dǎn qiè 。

Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, I give to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful.

你們聽見我對你們說了，我去還要到你們這裏來。你們若愛我，因我到父那裏去，就必喜樂，因為父是比我大的。

nǐ men tīng jiàn wǒ duì nǐ men shuō le ， wǒ qù hái yào dào nǐ men zhè lǐ lái 。 nǐ men ruò ài wǒ ， yīn wǒ dào fù nà lǐ qù ， jiù bì xǐ lè ， yīn wèi fù shì bǐ wǒ dà de 。

You heard how I told you, ‘I am going away, and I will come back to you.’ If you loved me, you would have rejoiced because I said ‘I am going to my Father;’ for the Father is greater than I.

現在事情還沒有成就，我預先告訴你們，叫你們到事情成就的時候就可以信。

xiàn zài shì qíng hái méi yǒu chéng jiù ， wǒ yù xiān gào sù nǐ men ， jiào nǐ men dào shì qíng chéng jiù de shí hòu jiù kě yǐ xìn 。

Now I have told you before it happens so that when it happens, you may believe.

以後我不再和你們多說話，因為這世界的王將到。他在我裏面是毫無所有；

yǐ hòu wǒ bú zài hé nǐ men duō shuō huà ， yīn wèi zhè shì jiè de wáng jiāng dào 。 tā zài wǒ lǐ miàn shì háo wú suǒ yǒu ；

I will no more speak much with you, for the prince of the world comes, and he has nothing in me.

但要叫世人知道我愛父，並且父怎樣吩咐我，我就怎樣行。起來，我們走吧！」

dàn yào jiào shì rén zhī dào wǒ ài fù ， bìng qiě fù zěn yàng fēn fù wǒ ， wǒ jiù zěn yàng xíng 。 qǐ lái ， wǒ men zǒu ba ！」

But that the world may know that I love the Father, and as the Father commanded me, even so I do. Arise, let’s go from here.
