約翰福音 18

耶穌說了這話，就同門徒出去，過了汲淪溪。在那裏有一個園子，他和門徒進去了。

yē sū shuō le zhè huà ， jiù tóng mén tú chū qù ， guò le jí lún xī 。 zài nà lǐ yǒu yí gè yuán zǐ ， tā hé mén tú jìn qù le 。

When Jesus had spoken these words, he went out with his disciples over the brook Kidron, where there was a garden, into which he and his disciples entered.

賣耶穌的猶大也知道那地方，因為耶穌和門徒屢次上那裏去聚集。

mài yē sū de yóu dà yě zhī dào nà dì fāng ， yīn wèi yē sū hé mén tú lǚ cì shàng nà lǐ qù jù jí 。

Now Judas, who betrayed him, also knew the place, for Jesus often met there with his disciples.

猶大領了一隊兵，和祭司長並法利賽人的差役，拿着燈籠、火把、兵器，就來到園裏。

yóu dà lǐng le yí duì bīng ， hé jì sī cháng bìng fǎ lì sài rén de chāi yì ， ná zhe dēng long 、 huǒ bǎ 、 bīng qì ， jiù lái dào yuán lǐ 。

Judas then, having taken a detachment of soldiers and officers from the chief priests and the Pharisees, came there with lanterns, torches, and weapons.

耶穌知道將要臨到自己的一切事，就出來對他們說：「你們找誰？」

yē sū zhī dào jiāng yào lín dào zì jǐ de yí qiè shì ， jiù chū lái duì tā men shuō ：「 nǐ men zhǎo shuí ？」

Jesus therefore, knowing all the things that were happening to him, went out and said to them, “Who are you looking for?”

他們回答說：「找拿撒勒人耶穌。」耶穌說：「我就是！」賣他的猶大也同他們站在那裏。

tā men huí dá shuō ：「 zhǎo ná sā lè rén yē sū 。」 yē sū shuō ：「 wǒ jiù shì ！」 mài tā de yóu dà yě tóng tā men zhàn zài nà lǐ 。

They answered him, “Jesus of Nazareth.” Jesus said to them, “I am he.” Judas also, who betrayed him, was standing with them.

耶穌一說「我就是」，他們就退後倒在地上。

yē sū yì shuō 「 wǒ jiù shì 」， tā men jiù tuì hòu dǎo zài dì shàng 。

When therefore he said to them, “I am he,” they went backward and fell to the ground.

他又問他們說：「你們找誰？」他們說：「找拿撒勒人耶穌。」

tā yòu wèn tā men shuō ：「 nǐ men zhǎo shuí ？」 tā men shuō ：「 zhǎo ná sā lè rén yē sū 。」

Again therefore he asked them, “Who are you looking for?” They said, “Jesus of Nazareth.”

耶穌說：「我已經告訴你們，我就是。你們若找我，就讓這些人去吧。」

yē sū shuō ：「 wǒ yǐ jīng gào sù nǐ men ， wǒ jiù shì 。 nǐ men ruò zhǎo wǒ ， jiù ràng zhè xiē rén qù ba 。」

Jesus answered, “I told you that I am he. If therefore you seek me, let these go their way,”

這要應驗耶穌從前的話，說：「你所賜給我的人，我沒有失落一個。」

zhè yào yìng yàn yē sū cóng qián de huà ， shuō ：「 nǐ suǒ cì gěi wǒ de rén ， wǒ méi yǒu shī luò yí gè 。」

that the word might be fulfilled which he spoke, “Of those whom you have given me, I have lost none.”

西門‧彼得帶着一把刀，就拔出來，將大祭司的僕人砍了一刀，削掉他的右耳；那僕人名叫馬勒古。

xī mén · bǐ dé dài zhe yì bǎ dāo ， jiù bá chū lái ， jiāng dà jì sī de pú rén kǎn le yì dāo ， xiāo diào tā de yòu ěr ； nà pú rén míng jiào mǎ lè gǔ 。

Simon Peter therefore, having a sword, drew it, struck the high priest’s servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant’s name was Malchus.

耶穌就對彼得說：「收刀入鞘吧，我父所給我的那杯，我豈可不喝呢？」

yē sū jiù duì bǐ dé shuō ：「 shōu dāo rù qiào ba ， wǒ fù suǒ gěi wǒ de nà bēi ， wǒ qǐ kě bù hē ne ？」

Jesus therefore said to Peter, “Put the sword into its sheath. The cup which the Father has given me, shall I not surely drink it?”

那隊兵和千夫長，並猶太人的差役就拿住耶穌，把他捆綁了，

nà duì bīng hé qiān fū cháng ， bìng yóu tài rén de chāi yì jiù ná zhù yē sū ， bǎ tā kǔn bǎng le ，

So the detachment, the commanding officer, and the officers of the Jews seized Jesus and bound him,

先帶到亞那面前，因為亞那是本年作大祭司該亞法的岳父。

xiān dài dào yà nà miàn qián ， yīn wèi yà nà shì běn nián zuò dà jì sī gāi yà fǎ de yuè fù 。

and led him to Annas first, for he was father-in-law to Caiaphas, who was high priest that year.

這該亞法就是從前向猶太人發議論說「一個人替百姓死是有益的」那位。

zhè gāi yà fǎ jiù shì cóng qián xiàng yóu tài rén fā yì lùn shuō 「 yí gè rén tì bǎi xìng sǐ shì yǒu yì de 」 nà wèi 。

Now it was Caiaphas who advised the Jews that it was expedient that one man should perish for the people.

西門‧彼得跟着耶穌，還有一個門徒跟着。那門徒是大祭司所認識的，他就同耶穌進了大祭司的院子。

xī mén · bǐ dé gēn zhe yē sū ， hái yǒu yí gè mén tú gēn zhe 。 nà mén tú shì dà jì sī suǒ rèn shi de ， tā jiù tóng yē sū jìn le dà jì sī de yuàn zi 。

Simon Peter followed Jesus, as did another disciple. Now that disciple was known to the high priest, and entered in with Jesus into the court of the high priest;

彼得卻站在門外。大祭司所認識的那個門徒出來，和看門的使女說了一聲，就領彼得進去。

bǐ dé què zhàn zài mén wài 。 dà jì sī suǒ rèn shí de nà ge mén tú chū lái ， hé kān mén de shǐ nǚ shuō le yì shēng ， jiù lǐng bǐ dé jìn qù 。

but Peter was standing at the door outside. So the other disciple, who was known to the high priest, went out and spoke to her who kept the door, and brought in Peter.

那看門的使女對彼得說：「你不也是這人的門徒嗎？」他說：「我不是。」

nà kān mén de shǐ nǚ duì bǐ dé shuō ：「 nǐ bù yě shì zhè rén de mén tú ma ？」 tā shuō ：「 wǒ bú shì 。」

Then the maid who kept the door said to Peter, “Are you also one of this man’s disciples?” He said, “I am not.”

僕人和差役因為天冷，就生了炭火，站在那裏烤火；彼得也同他們站着烤火。

pú rén hé chāi yì yīn wèi tiān lěng ， jiù shēng le tàn huǒ ， zhàn zài nà lǐ kǎo huǒ ； bǐ dé yě tóng tā men zhàn zhe kǎo huǒ 。

Now the servants and the officers were standing there, having made a fire of coals, for it was cold. They were warming themselves. Peter was with them, standing and warming himself.

大祭司就以耶穌的門徒和他的教訓盤問他。

dà jì sī jiù yǐ yē sū de mén tú hé tā de jiào xùn pán wèn tā 。

The high priest therefore asked Jesus about his disciples and about his teaching.

耶穌回答說：「我從來是明明地對世人說話。我常在會堂和殿裏，就是猶太人聚集的地方教訓人；我在暗地裏並沒有說甚麼。

yē sū huí dá shuō ：「 wǒ cóng lái shì míng míng dì duì shì rén shuō huà 。 wǒ cháng zài huì táng hé diàn lǐ ， jiù shì yóu tài rén jù jí de dì fāng jiào xùn rén ； wǒ zài àn dì lǐ bìng méi yǒu shuō shén me 。

Jesus answered him, “I spoke openly to the world. I always taught in synagogues and in the temple, where the Jews always meet. I said nothing in secret.

你為甚麼問我呢？可以問那聽見的人，我對他們說的是甚麼；我所說的，他們都知道。」

nǐ wèi shén me wèn wǒ ne ？ kě yǐ wèn nà tīng jiàn de rén ， wǒ duì tā men shuō de shì shén me ； wǒ suǒ shuō de ， tā men dōu zhī dào 。」

Why do you ask me? Ask those who have heard me what I said to them. Behold, they know the things which I said.”

耶穌說了這話，旁邊站着的一個差役用手掌打他，說：「你這樣回答大祭司嗎？」

yē sū shuō le zhè huà ， páng biān zhàn zhe de yí gè chāi yì yòng shǒu zhǎng dǎ tā ， shuō ：「 nǐ zhè yàng huí dá dà jì sī ma ？」

When he had said this, one of the officers standing by slapped Jesus with his hand, saying, “Do you answer the high priest like that?”

耶穌說：「我若說的不是，你可以指證那不是；我若說的是，你為甚麼打我呢？」

yē sū shuō ：「 wǒ ruò shuō de bú shì ， nǐ kě yǐ zhǐ zhèng nà bú shì ； wǒ ruò shuō de shì ， nǐ wèi shén me dǎ wǒ ne ？」

Jesus answered him, “If I have spoken evil, testify of the evil; but if well, why do you beat me?”

亞那就把耶穌解到大祭司該亞法那裏，仍是捆着解去的。

yà nà jiù bǎ yē sū jiě dào dà jì sī gāi yà fǎ nà lǐ ， réng shì kǔn zhe jiě qù de 。

Annas sent him bound to Caiaphas, the high priest.

西門‧彼得正站着烤火，有人對他說：「你不也是他的門徒嗎？」彼得不承認，說：「我不是。」

xī mén · bǐ dé zhèng zhàn zhe kǎo huǒ ， yǒu rén duì tā shuō ：「 nǐ bù yě shì tā de mén tú ma ？」 bǐ dé bù chéng rèn ， shuō ：「 wǒ bú shì 。」

Now Simon Peter was standing and warming himself. They said therefore to him, “You aren’t also one of his disciples, are you?” He denied it and said, “I am not.”

有大祭司的一個僕人，是彼得削掉耳朵那人的親屬，說：「我不是看見你同他在園子裏嗎？」

yǒu dà jì sī de yí gè pú rén ， shì bǐ dé xiāo diào ěr duǒ nà rén de qīn shǔ ， shuō ：「 wǒ bú shì kàn jiàn nǐ tóng tā zài yuán zǐ lǐ ma ？」

One of the servants of the high priest, being a relative of him whose ear Peter had cut off, said, “Didn’t I see you in the garden with him?”

彼得又不承認。立時雞就叫了。

bǐ dé yòu bù chéng rèn 。 lì shí jī jiù jiào le 。

Peter therefore denied it again, and immediately the rooster crowed.

眾人將耶穌從該亞法那裏往衙門內解去，那時天還早。他們自己卻不進衙門，恐怕染了污穢，不能吃逾越節的筵席。

zhòng rén jiāng yē sū cóng gāi yà fǎ nà lǐ wǎng yá mén nèi jiě qù ， nà shí tiān hái zǎo 。 tā men zì jǐ què bú jìn yá mén ， kǒng pà rǎn le wū huì ， bù néng chī yú yuè jié de yán xí 。

They led Jesus therefore from Caiaphas into the Praetorium. It was early, and they themselves didn’t enter into the Praetorium, that they might not be defiled, but might eat the Passover.

彼拉多就出來，到他們那裏，說：「你們告這人是為甚麼事呢？」

bǐ lā duō jiù chū lái ， dào tā men nà lǐ ， shuō ：「 nǐ men gào zhè rén shì wèi shén me shì ne ？」

Pilate therefore went out to them and said, “What accusation do you bring against this man?”

他們回答說：「這人若不是作惡的，我們就不把他交給你。」

tā men huí dá shuō ：「 zhè rén ruò bú shì zuò è de ， wǒ men jiù bù bǎ tā jiāo gěi nǐ 。」

They answered him, “If this man weren’t an evildoer, we wouldn’t have delivered him up to you.”

彼拉多說：「你們自己帶他去，按着你們的律法審問他吧。」猶太人說：「我們沒有殺人的權柄。」

bǐ lā duō shuō ：「 nǐ men zì jǐ dài tā qù ， àn zhe nǐ men de lǜ fǎ shěn wèn tā ba 。」 yóu tài rén shuō ：「 wǒ men méi yǒu shā rén de quán bǐng 。」

Pilate therefore said to them, “Take him yourselves, and judge him according to your law.” Therefore the Jews said to him, “It is illegal for us to put anyone to death,”

這要應驗耶穌所說自己將要怎樣死的話了。

zhè yào yìng yàn yē sū suǒ shuō zì jǐ jiāng yào zěn yàng sǐ de huà le 。

that the word of Jesus might be fulfilled, which he spoke, signifying by what kind of death he should die.

彼拉多又進了衙門，叫耶穌來，對他說：「你是猶太人的王嗎？」

bǐ lā duō yòu jìn le yá mén ， jiào yē sū lái ， duì tā shuō ：「 nǐ shì yóu tài rén de wáng ma ？」

Pilate therefore entered again into the Praetorium, called Jesus, and said to him, “Are you the King of the Jews?”

耶穌回答說：「這話是你自己說的，還是別人論我對你說的呢？」

yē sū huí dá shuō ：「 zhè huà shì nǐ zì jǐ shuō de ， hái shì bié rén lùn wǒ duì nǐ shuō de ne ？」

Jesus answered him, “Do you say this by yourself, or did others tell you about me?”

彼拉多說：「我豈是猶太人呢？你本國的人和祭司長把你交給我。你做了甚麼事呢？」

bǐ lā duō shuō ：「 wǒ qǐ shì yóu tài rén ne ？ nǐ běn guó de rén hé jì sī zhǎng bǎ nǐ jiāo gěi wǒ 。 nǐ zuò le shén me shì ne ？」

Pilate answered, “I’m not a Jew, am I? Your own nation and the chief priests delivered you to me. What have you done?”

耶穌回答說：「我的國不屬這世界；我的國若屬這世界，我的臣僕必要爭戰，使我不至於被交給猶太人。只是我的國不屬這世界。」

yē sū huí dá shuō ：「 wǒ de guó bù shǔ zhè shì jiè ； wǒ de guó ruò shǔ zhè shì jiè ， wǒ de chén pú bì yào zhēng zhàn ， shǐ wǒ bú zhì yú bèi jiāo gěi yóu tài rén 。 zhǐ shì wǒ de guó bù shǔ zhè shì jiè 。」

Jesus answered, “My Kingdom is not of this world. If my Kingdom were of this world, then my servants would fight, that I wouldn’t be delivered to the Jews. But now my Kingdom is not from here.”

彼拉多就對他說：「這樣，你是王嗎？」耶穌回答說：「你說我是王。我為此而生，也為此來到世間，特為給真理作見證。凡屬真理的人就聽我的話。」

bǐ lā duō jiù duì tā shuō ：「 zhè yàng ， nǐ shì wáng ma ？」 yē sū huí dá shuō ：「 nǐ shuō wǒ shì wáng 。 wǒ wèi cǐ ér shēng ， yě wèi cǐ lái dào shì jiān ， tè wèi gěi zhēn lǐ zuò jiàn zhèng 。 fán shǔ zhēn lǐ de rén jiù tīng wǒ de huà 。」

Pilate therefore said to him, “Are you a king then?” Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. For this reason I have been born, and for this reason I have come into the world, that I should testify to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth listens to my voice.”

彼拉多說：「真理是甚麼呢？」 耶穌被判死刑 （太27‧15－31；可15‧6－20；路23‧13－25） 說了這話，又出來到猶太人那裏，對他們說：「我查不出他有甚麼罪來。

bǐ lā duō shuō ：「 zhēn lǐ shì shén me ne ？」 yē sū bèi pàn sǐ xíng （ tài 27·15—31； kě 15·6—20； lù 23·13—25） shuō le zhè huà ， yòu chū lái dào yóu tài rén nà lǐ ， duì tā men shuō ：「 wǒ chá bù chū tā yǒu shén me zuì lái 。

Pilate said to him, “What is truth?” When he had said this, he went out again to the Jews, and said to them, “I find no basis for a charge against him.

但你們有個規矩，在逾越節要我給你們釋放一個人，你們要我給你們釋放猶太人的王嗎？」

dàn nǐ men yǒu gè guī jǔ ， zài yú yuè jié yào wǒ gěi nǐ men shì fàng yí gè rén ， nǐ men yào wǒ gěi nǐ men shì fàng yóu tài rén de wáng ma ？」

But you have a custom that I should release someone to you at the Passover. Therefore, do you want me to release to you the King of the Jews?”

他們又喊着說：「不要這人，要巴拉巴！」這巴拉巴是個強盜。

tā men yòu hǎn zhe shuō ：「 bú yào zhè rén ， yào bā lā bā ！」 zhè bā lā bā shì gè qiáng dào 。

Then they all shouted again, saying, “Not this man, but Barabbas!” Now Barabbas was a robber.
