約翰福音 7

這事以後，耶穌在加利利遊行，不願在猶太遊行，因為猶太人想要殺他。

zhè shì yǐ hòu ， yē sū zài jiā lì lì yóu xíng ， bú yuàn zài yóu tài yóu xíng ， yīn wèi yóu tài rén xiǎng yào shā tā 。

After these things, Jesus was walking in Galilee, for he wouldn’t walk in Judea, because the Jews sought to kill him.

當時猶太人的住棚節近了。

dāng shí yóu tài rén de zhù péng jié jìn le 。

Now the feast of the Jews, the Feast of Booths, was at hand.

耶穌的弟兄就對他說：「你離開這裏上猶太去吧，叫你的門徒也看見你所行的事。

yē sū de dì xiong jiù duì tā shuō ：「 nǐ lí kāi zhè lǐ shàng yóu tài qù ba ， jiào nǐ de mén tú yě kàn jiàn nǐ suǒ xíng de shì 。

His brothers therefore said to him, “Depart from here and go into Judea, that your disciples also may see your works which you do.

人要顯揚名聲，沒有在暗處行事的；你如果行這些事，就當將自己顯明給世人看。」

rén yào xiǎn yáng míng shēng ， méi yǒu zài àn chù xíng shì de ； nǐ rú guǒ xíng zhè xiē shì ， jiù dāng jiāng zì jǐ xiǎn míng gěi shì rén kàn 。」

For no one does anything in secret while he seeks to be known openly. If you do these things, reveal yourself to the world.”

因為連他的弟兄說這話，是因為不信他。

yīn wèi lián tā de dì xiong shuō zhè huà ， shì yīn wèi bú xìn tā 。

For even his brothers didn’t believe in him.

耶穌就對他們說：「我的時候還沒有到；你們的時候常是方便的。

yē sū jiù duì tā men shuō ：「 wǒ de shí hòu hái méi yǒu dào ； nǐ men de shí hòu cháng shì fāng biàn de 。

Jesus therefore said to them, “My time has not yet come, but your time is always ready.

世人不能恨你們，卻是恨我，因為我指證他們所做的事是惡的。

shì rén bù néng hèn nǐ men ， què shì hèn wǒ ， yīn wèi wǒ zhǐ zhèng tā men suǒ zuò de shì shì è de 。

The world can’t hate you, but it hates me, because I testify about it, that its works are evil.

你們上去過節吧，我現在不上去過這節，因為我的時候還沒有滿。」

nǐ men shàng qù guò jié ba ， wǒ xiàn zài bú shàng qù guò zhè jié ， yīn wèi wǒ de shí hòu hái méi yǒu mǎn 。」

You go up to the feast. I am not yet going up to this feast, because my time is not yet fulfilled.”

耶穌說了這話，仍舊住在加利利。

yē sū shuō le zhè huà ， réng jiù zhù zài jiā lì lì 。

Having said these things to them, he stayed in Galilee.

但他弟兄上去以後，他也上去過節，不是明去，似乎是暗去的。

dàn tā dì xiōng shàng qù yǐ hòu ， tā yě shàng qù guò jié ， bú shì míng qù ， sì hū shì àn qù de 。

But when his brothers had gone up to the feast, then he also went up, not publicly, but as it were in secret.

正在節期，猶太人尋找耶穌，說：「他在哪裏？」

zhèng zài jié qī ， yóu tài rén xún zhǎo yē sū ， shuō ：「 tā zài nǎ lǐ ？」

The Jews therefore sought him at the feast, and said, “Where is he?”

眾人為他紛紛議論，有的說：「他是好人。」有的說：「不然，他是迷惑眾人的。」

zhòng rén wéi tā fēn fēn yì lùn ， yǒu de shuō ：「 tā shì hǎo rén 。」 yǒu de shuō ：「 bù rán ， tā shì mí huò zhòng rén de 。」

There was much murmuring among the multitudes concerning him. Some said, “He is a good man.” Others said, “Not so, but he leads the multitude astray.”

只是沒有人明明地講論他，因為怕猶太人。

zhǐ shì méi yǒu rén míng míng dì jiǎng lùn tā ， yīn wèi pà yóu tài rén 。

Yet no one spoke openly of him for fear of the Jews.

到了節期，耶穌上殿裏去教訓人。

dào le jié qī ， yē sū shàng diàn lǐ qù jiào xùn rén 。

But when it was now the middle of the feast, Jesus went up into the temple and taught.

猶太人就希奇，說：「這個人沒有學過，怎麼明白書呢？」

yóu tài rén jiù xī qí ， shuō ：「 zhè ge rén méi yǒu xué guò ， zěn me míng bái shū ne ？」

The Jews therefore marveled, saying, “How does this man know letters, having never been educated?”

耶穌說：「我的教訓不是我自己的，乃是那差我來者的。

yē sū shuō ：「 wǒ de jiào xùn bú shì wǒ zì jǐ de ， nǎi shì nà chà wǒ lái zhě de 。

Jesus therefore answered them, “My teaching is not mine, but his who sent me.

人若立志遵着他的旨意行，就必曉得這教訓或是出於上帝，或是我憑着自己說的。

rén ruò lì zhì zūn zhe tā de zhǐ yì xíng ， jiù bì xiǎo de zhè jiào xùn huò shì chū yú shén ， huò shì wǒ píng zhe zì jǐ shuō de 。

If anyone desires to do his will, he will know about the teaching, whether it is from God or if I am speaking from myself.

人憑着自己說，是求自己的榮耀；惟有求那差他來者的榮耀，這人是真的，在他心裏沒有不義。

rén píng zhe zì jǐ shuō ， shì qiú zì jǐ de róng yào ； wéi yǒu qiú nà chà tā lái zhě de róng yào ， zhè rén shì zhēn de ， zài tā xīn lǐ méi yǒu bú yì 。

He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory, but he who seeks the glory of him who sent him is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.

摩西豈不是傳律法給你們嗎？你們卻沒有一個人守律法。為甚麼想要殺我呢？」

mó xī qǐ bú shì chuán lǜ fǎ gěi nǐ men ma ？ nǐ men què méi yǒu yí gè rén shǒu lǜ fǎ 。 wèi shén me xiǎng yào shā wǒ ne ？」

Didn’t Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keeps the law? Why do you seek to kill me?”

眾人回答說：「你是被鬼附着了！誰想要殺你？」

zhòng rén huí dá shuō ：「 nǐ shì bèi guǐ fù zhuó le ！ shuí xiǎng yào shā nǐ ？」

The multitude answered, “You have a demon! Who seeks to kill you?”

耶穌說：「我做了一件事，你們都以為希奇。

yē sū shuō ：「 wǒ zuò le yí jiàn shì ， nǐ men dōu yǐ wéi xī qí 。

Jesus answered them, “I did one work and you all marvel because of it.

摩西傳割禮給你們（其實不是從摩西起的，乃是從祖先起的），因此你們也在安息日給人行割禮。

mó xī chuán gē lǐ gěi nǐ men （ qí shí bú shì cóng mó xī qǐ de ， nǎi shì cóng zǔ xiān qǐ de ）， yīn cǐ nǐ men yě zài ān xī rì gěi rén xíng gē lǐ 。

Moses has given you circumcision (not that it is of Moses, but of the fathers), and on the Sabbath you circumcise a boy.

人若在安息日受割禮，免得違背摩西的律法，我在安息日叫一個人全然好了，你們就向我生氣嗎？

rén ruò zài ān xī rì shòu gē lǐ ， miǎn de wéi bèi mó xī de lǜ fǎ ， wǒ zài ān xī rì jiào yí gè rén quán rán hǎo le ， nǐ men jiù xiàng wǒ shēng qì ma ？

If a boy receives circumcision on the Sabbath, that the law of Moses may not be broken, are you angry with me because I made a man completely healthy on the Sabbath?

不可按外貌斷定是非，總要按公平斷定是非。」

bù kě àn wài mào duàn dìng shì fēi ， zǒng yào àn gōng píng duàn dìng shì fēi 。」

Don’t judge according to appearance, but judge righteous judgment.”

耶路撒冷人中有的說：「這不是他們想要殺的人嗎？

yē lù sā lěng rén zhōng yǒu de shuō ：「 zhè bú shì tā men xiǎng yào shā de rén ma ？

Therefore some of them of Jerusalem said, “Isn’t this he whom they seek to kill?

你看他還明明地講道，他們也不向他說甚麼，難道官長真知道這是基督嗎？

nǐ kàn tā hái míng míng dì jiǎng dào ， tā men yě bú xiàng tā shuō shén me ， nán dào guān zhǎng zhēn zhī dào zhè shì jī dū ma ？

Behold, he speaks openly, and they say nothing to him. Can it be that the rulers indeed know that this is truly the Christ?

然而，我們知道這個人從哪裏來；只是基督來的時候，沒有人知道他從哪裏來。」

rán ér ， wǒ men zhī dào zhè ge rén cóng nǎ lǐ lái ； zhǐ shì jī dū lái de shí hòu ， méi yǒu rén zhī dào tā cóng nǎ lǐ lái 。」

However, we know where this man comes from, but when the Christ comes, no one will know where he comes from.”

那時，耶穌在殿裏教訓人，大聲說：「你們也知道我，也知道我從哪裏來；我來並不是由於自己。但那差我來的是真的。你們不認識他，

nà shí ， yē sū zài diàn lǐ jiào xùn rén ， dà shēng shuō ：「 nǐ men yě zhī dào wǒ ， yě zhī dào wǒ cóng nǎ lǐ lái ； wǒ lái bìng bú shì yóu yú zì jǐ 。 dàn nà chà wǒ lái de shì zhēn de 。 nǐ men bú rèn shi tā ，

Jesus therefore cried out in the temple, teaching and saying, “You both know me, and know where I am from. I have not come of myself, but he who sent me is true, whom you don’t know.

我卻認識他；因為我是從他來的，他也是差了我來。」

wǒ què rèn shi tā ； yīn wèi wǒ shì cóng tā lái de ， tā yě shì chà le wǒ lái 。」

I know him, because I am from him, and he sent me.”

他們就想要捉拿耶穌；只是沒有人下手，因為他的時候還沒有到。

tā men jiù xiǎng yào zhuō ná yē sū ； zhǐ shì méi yǒu rén xià shǒu ， yīn wèi tā de shí hòu hái méi yǒu dào 。

They sought therefore to take him; but no one laid a hand on him, because his hour had not yet come.

但眾人中間有好些信他的，說：「基督來的時候，他所行的神蹟豈能比這人所行的更多嗎？」

dàn zhòng rén zhōng jiān yǒu hǎo xiē xìn tā de ， shuō ：「 jī dū lái de shí hòu ， tā suǒ xíng de shén jì qǐ néng bǐ zhè rén suǒ xíng de gèng duō ma ？」

But of the multitude, many believed in him. They said, “When the Christ comes, he won’t do more signs than those which this man has done, will he?”

法利賽人聽見眾人為耶穌這樣紛紛議論，祭司長和法利賽人就打發差役去捉拿他。

fǎ lì sài rén tīng jiàn zhòng rén wèi yē sū zhè yàng fēn fēn yì lùn ， jì sī zhǎng hé fǎ lì sài rén jiù dǎ fā chāi yì qù zhuō ná tā 。

The Pharisees heard the multitude murmuring these things concerning him, and the chief priests and the Pharisees sent officers to arrest him.

於是耶穌說：「我還有不多的時候和你們同在，以後就回到差我來的那裏去。

yú shì yē sū shuō ：「 wǒ hái yǒu bù duō de shí hòu hé nǐ men tóng zài ， yǐ hòu jiù huí dào chà wǒ lái de nà lǐ qù 。

Then Jesus said, “I will be with you a little while longer, then I go to him who sent me.

你們要找我，卻找不着；我所在的地方你們不能到。」

nǐ men yào zhǎo wǒ ， què zhǎo bù zhe ； wǒ suǒ zài de dì fāng nǐ men bù néng dào 。」

You will seek me and won’t find me. You can’t come where I am.”

猶太人就彼此對問說：「這人要往哪裏去，叫我們找不着呢？難道他要往散住希臘中的猶太人那裏去教訓希臘人嗎？

yóu tài rén jiù bǐ cǐ duì wèn shuō ：「 zhè rén yào wǎng nǎ lǐ qù ， jiào wǒ men zhǎo bù zhe ne ？ nán dào tā yào wǎng sàn zhù xī là zhōng de yóu tài rén nà lǐ qù jiào xùn xī là rén ma ？

The Jews therefore said among themselves, “Where will this man go that we won’t find him? Will he go to the Dispersion among the Greeks and teach the Greeks?

他說：『你們要找我，卻找不着；我所在的地方，你們不能到』，這話是甚麼意思呢？」

tā shuō ：『 nǐ men yào zhǎo wǒ ， què zhǎo bù zhe ； wǒ suǒ zài de dì fāng ， nǐ men bù néng dào 』， zhè huà shì shén me yì sī ne ？」

What is this word that he said, ‘You will seek me, and won’t find me;’ and ‘Where I am, you can’t come’ ?”

節期的末日，就是最大之日，耶穌站着高聲說：「人若渴了，可以到我這裏來喝。

jié qī de mò rì ， jiù shì zuì dà zhī rì ， yē sū zhàn zhe gāo shēng shuō ：「 rén ruò kě le ， kě yǐ dào wǒ zhè lǐ lái hē 。

Now on the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink!

信我的人就如經上所說：『從他腹中要流出活水的江河來。』」

xìn wǒ de rén jiù rú jīng shàng suǒ shuō ：『 cóng tā fù zhōng yào liú chū huó shuǐ de jiāng hé lái 。』」

He who believes in me, as the Scripture has said, from within him will flow rivers of living water.”

耶穌這話是指着信他之人要受聖靈說的。那時還沒有賜下聖靈來，因為耶穌尚未得着榮耀。

yē sū zhè huà shì zhǐ zhe xìn tā zhī rén yào shòu shèng líng shuō de 。 nà shí hái méi yǒu cì xià shèng líng lái ， yīn wèi yē sū shàng wèi dé zhe róng yào 。

But he said this about the Spirit, which those believing in him were to receive. For the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus wasn’t yet glorified.

眾人聽見這話，有的說：「這真是那先知。」

zhòng rén tīng jiàn zhè huà ， yǒu de shuō ：「 zhè zhēn shì nà xiān zhī 。」

Many of the multitude therefore, when they heard these words, said, “This is truly the prophet.”

有的說：「這是基督。」但也有的說：「基督豈是從加利利出來的嗎？

yǒu de shuō ：「 zhè shì jī dū 。」 dàn yě yǒu de shuō ：「 jī dū qǐ shì cóng jiā lì lì chū lái de ma ？

Others said, “This is the Christ.” But some said, “What, does the Christ come out of Galilee?

經上豈不是說『基督是大衛的後裔，從大衛本鄉伯利恆出來的』嗎？」

jīng shàng qǐ bú shì shuō 『 jī dū shì dà wèi de hòu yì ， cóng dà wèi běn xiāng bó lì héng chū lái de 』 ma ？」

Hasn’t the Scripture said that the Christ comes of the offspring of David, and from Bethlehem, the village where David was?”

於是眾人因着耶穌起了紛爭。

yú shì zhòng rén yīn zhe yē sū qǐ le fēn zhēng 。

So a division arose in the multitude because of him.

其中有人要捉拿他，只是無人下手。

qí zhōng yǒu rén yào zhuō ná tā ， zhǐ shì wú rén xià shǒu 。

Some of them would have arrested him, but no one laid hands on him.

差役回到祭司長和法利賽人那裏。他們對差役說：「你們為甚麼沒有帶他來呢？」

chāi yì huí dào jì sī zhǎng hé fǎ lì sài rén nà lǐ 。 tā men duì chāi yì shuō ：「 nǐ men wèi shén me méi yǒu dài tā lái ne ？」

The officers therefore came to the chief priests and Pharisees; and they said to them, “Why didn’t you bring him?”

差役回答說：「從來沒有像他這樣說話的！」

chāi yì huí dá shuō ：「 cóng lái méi yǒu xiàng tā zhè yàng shuō huà de ！」

The officers answered, “No man ever spoke like this man!”

法利賽人說：「你們也受了迷惑嗎？

fǎ lì sài rén shuō ：「 nǐ men yě shòu le mí huò ma ？

The Pharisees therefore answered them, “You aren’t also led astray, are you?

官長或是法利賽人豈有信他的呢？

guān zhǎng huò shì fǎ lì sài rén qǐ yǒu xìn tā de ne ？

Have any of the rulers or any of the Pharisees believed in him?

但這些不明白律法的百姓是被咒詛的！」

dàn zhè xiē bù míng bái lǜ fǎ de bǎi xìng shì bèi zhòu zǔ de ！」

But this multitude that doesn’t know the law is cursed.”

內中有尼哥德慕，就是從前去見耶穌的，對他們說：

nèi zhōng yǒu ní gē dé mù ， jiù shì cóng qián qù jiàn yē sū de ， duì tā men shuō ：

Nicodemus (he who came to him by night, being one of them) said to them,

「不先聽本人的口供，不知道他所做的事，難道我們的律法還定他的罪嗎？」

「 bù xiān tīng běn rén de kǒu gòng ， bù zhī dào tā suǒ zuò de shì ， nán dào wǒ men de lǜ fǎ hái dìng tā de zuì ma ？」

“Does our law judge a man unless it first hears from him personally and knows what he does?”

他們回答說：「你也是出於加利利嗎？你且去查考，就可知道加利利沒有出過先知。」

tā men huí dá shuō ：「 nǐ yě shì chū yú jiā lì lì ma ？ nǐ qiě qù chá kǎo ， jiù kě zhī dào jiā lì lì méi yǒu chū guò xiān zhī 。」

They answered him, “Are you also from Galilee? Search and see that no prophet has arisen out of Galilee.”

Everyone went to his own house,
