約翰福音 8

於是各人都回家去了；耶穌卻往橄欖山去，

yú shì gè rén dōu huí jiā qù le ； yē sū què wǎng gǎn lǎn shān qù ，

but Jesus went to the Mount of Olives.

清早又回到殿裏。眾百姓都到他那裏去，他就坐下，教訓他們。

qīng zǎo yòu huí dào diàn lǐ 。 zhòng bǎi xìng dōu dào tā nà lǐ qù ， tā jiù zuò xià ， jiào xùn tā men 。

Now very early in the morning, he came again into the temple, and all the people came to him. He sat down and taught them.

文士和法利賽人帶着一個行淫時被拿的婦人來，叫她站在當中，

wén shì hé fǎ lì sài rén dài zhe yí gè xíng yín shí bèi ná de fù rén lái ， jiào tā zhàn zài dāng zhōng ，

The scribes and the Pharisees brought a woman taken in adultery. Having set her in the middle,

就對耶穌說：「夫子，這婦人是正行淫之時被拿的。

jiù duì yē sū shuō ：「 fū zǐ ， zhè fù rén shì zhèng xíng yín zhī shí bèi ná de 。

they told him, “Teacher, we found this woman in adultery, in the very act.

摩西在律法上吩咐我們把這樣的婦人用石頭打死。你說該把她怎麼樣呢？」

mó xī zài lǜ fǎ shàng fēn fù wǒ men bǎ zhè yàng de fù rén yòng shí tou dǎ sǐ 。 nǐ shuō gāi bǎ tā zěn me yàng ne ？」

Now in our law, Moses commanded us to stone such women. What then do you say about her?”

他們說這話，乃試探耶穌，要得着告他的把柄。耶穌卻彎着腰，用指頭在地上畫字。

tā men shuō zhè huà ， nǎi shì tàn yē sū ， yào dé zhe gào tā de bǎ bǐng 。 yē sū què wān zhe yāo ， yòng zhǐ tou zài dì shàng huà zì 。

They said this testing him, that they might have something to accuse him of. But Jesus stooped down and wrote on the ground with his finger.

他們還是不住地問他，耶穌就直起腰來，對他們說：「你們中間誰是沒有罪的，誰就可以先拿石頭打她。」

tā men hái shì bú zhù dì wèn tā ， yē sū jiù zhí qǐ yāo lái ， duì tā men shuō ：「 nǐ men zhōng jiān shuí shì méi yǒu zuì de ， shuí jiù kě yǐ xiān ná shí tou dǎ tā 。」

But when they continued asking him, he looked up and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw the first stone at her.”

於是又彎着腰，用指頭在地上畫字。

yú shì yòu wān zhe yāo ， yòng zhǐ tou zài dì shàng huà zì 。

Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground with his finger.

他們聽見這話，就從老到少，一個一個地都出去了，只剩下耶穌一人，還有那婦人仍然站在當中。

tā men tīng jiàn zhè huà ， jiù cóng lǎo dào shǎo ， yí gè yi gè dì dōu chū qù le ， zhī shèng xià yē sū yì rén ， hái yǒu nà fù rén réng rán zhàn zài dāng zhōng 。

They, when they heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning from the oldest, even to the last. Jesus was left alone with the woman where she was, in the middle.

耶穌就直起腰來，對她說：「婦人，那些人在哪裏呢？沒有人定你的罪嗎？」

yē sū jiù zhí qǐ yāo lái ， duì tā shuō ：「 fù rén ， nà xiē rén zài nǎ lǐ ne ？ méi yǒu rén dìng nǐ de zuì ma ？」

Jesus, standing up, saw her and said, “Woman, where are your accusers? Did no one condemn you?”

她說：「主啊，沒有。」耶穌說：「我也不定你的罪。去吧，從此不要再犯罪了！」

tā shuō ：「 zhǔ a ， méi yǒu 。」 yē sū shuō ：「 wǒ yě bú dìng nǐ de zuì 。 qù ba ， cóng cǐ bú yào zài fàn zuì le ！」

She said, “No one, Lord.” Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you. Go your way. From now on, sin no more.”

耶穌又對眾人說：「我是世界的光。跟從我的，就不在黑暗裏走，必要得着生命的光。」

yē sū yòu duì zhòng rén shuō ：「 wǒ shì shì jiè de guāng 。 gēn cóng wǒ de ， jiù bú zài hēi àn lǐ zǒu ， bì yào dé zhe shēng mìng de guāng 。」

Again, therefore, Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life.”

法利賽人對他說：「你是為自己作見證，你的見證不真。」

fǎ lì sài rén duì tā shuō ：「 nǐ shì wèi zì jǐ zuò jiàn zhèng ， nǐ de jiàn zhèng bù zhēn 。」

The Pharisees therefore said to him, “You testify about yourself. Your testimony is not valid.”

耶穌說：「我雖然為自己作見證，我的見證還是真的；因我知道我從哪裏來，往哪裏去；你們卻不知道我從哪裏來，往哪裏去。

yē sū shuō ：「 wǒ suī rán wèi zì jǐ zuò jiàn zhèng ， wǒ de jiàn zhèng hái shì zhēn de ； yīn wǒ zhī dào wǒ cóng nǎ lǐ lái ， wǎng nǎ lǐ qù ； nǐ men què bù zhī dào wǒ cóng nǎ lǐ lái ， wǎng nǎ lǐ qù 。

Jesus answered them, “Even if I testify about myself, my testimony is true, for I know where I came from, and where I am going; but you don’t know where I came from, or where I am going.

你們是以外貌 判斷人，我卻不判斷人。

nǐ men shì yǐ wài mào pàn duàn rén ， wǒ què bú pàn duàn rén 。

You judge according to the flesh. I judge no one.

就是判斷人，我的判斷也是真的；因為不是我獨自在這裏，還有差我來的父與我同在。

jiù shì pàn duàn rén ， wǒ de pàn duàn yě shì zhēn de ； yīn wèi bú shì wǒ dú zì zài zhè lǐ ， hái yǒu chà wǒ lái de fù yǔ wǒ tóng zài 。

Even if I do judge, my judgment is true, for I am not alone, but I am with the Father who sent me.

你們的律法上也記着說：『兩個人的見證是真的。』

nǐ men de lǜ fǎ shàng yě jì zhe shuō ：『 liǎng gè rén de jiàn zhèng shì zhēn de 。』

It’s also written in your law that the testimony of two people is valid.

我是為自己作見證，還有差我來的父也是為我作見證。」

wǒ shì wèi zì jǐ zuò jiàn zhèng ， hái yǒu chà wǒ lái de fù yě shì wèi wǒ zuò jiàn zhèng 。」

I am one who testifies about myself, and the Father who sent me testifies about me.”

他們就問他說：「你的父在哪裏？」耶穌回答說：「你們不認識我，也不認識我的父；若是認識我，也就認識我的父。」

tā men jiù wèn tā shuō ：「 nǐ de fù zài nǎ lǐ ？」 yē sū huí dá shuō ：「 nǐ men bú rèn shi wǒ ， yě bú rèn shi wǒ de fù ； ruò shì rèn shi wǒ ， yě jiù rèn shi wǒ de fù 。」

They said therefore to him, “Where is your Father?” Jesus answered, “You know neither me nor my Father. If you knew me, you would know my Father also.”

這些話是耶穌在殿裏的庫房、教訓人時所說的，也沒有人拿他，因為他的時候還沒有到。

zhè xiē huà shì yē sū zài diàn lǐ de kù fáng 、 jiào xùn rén shí suǒ shuō de ， yě méi yǒu rén ná tā ， yīn wèi tā de shí hòu hái méi yǒu dào 。

Jesus spoke these words in the treasury, as he taught in the temple. Yet no one arrested him, because his hour had not yet come.

耶穌又對他們說：「我要去了，你們要找我，並且你們要死在罪中。我所去的地方，你們不能到。」

yē sū yòu duì tā men shuō ：「 wǒ yào qù le ， nǐ men yào zhǎo wǒ ， bìng qiě nǐ men yào sǐ zài zuì zhōng 。 wǒ suǒ qù de dì fāng ， nǐ men bù néng dào 。」

Jesus said therefore again to them, “I am going away, and you will seek me, and you will die in your sins. Where I go, you can’t come.”

猶太人說：「他說『我所去的地方，你們不能到』，難道他要自盡嗎？」

yóu tài rén shuō ：「 tā shuō 『 wǒ suǒ qù de dì fāng ， nǐ men bù néng dào 』， nán dào tā yào zì jìn ma ？」

The Jews therefore said, “Will he kill himself, because he says, ‘Where I am going, you can’t come’ ?”

耶穌對他們說：「你們是從下頭來的，我是從上頭來的；你們是屬這世界的，我不是屬這世界的。

yē sū duì tā men shuō ：「 nǐ men shì cóng xià tóu lái de ， wǒ shì cóng shàng tóu lái de ； nǐ men shì shǔ zhè shì jiè de ， wǒ bú shì shǔ zhè shì jiè de 。

He said to them, “You are from beneath. I am from above. You are of this world. I am not of this world.

所以我對你們說，你們要死在罪中。你們若不信我是基督，必要死在罪中。」

suǒ yǐ wǒ duì nǐ men shuō ， nǐ men yào sǐ zài zuì zhōng 。 nǐ men ruò bú xìn wǒ shì jī dū ， bì yào sǐ zài zuì zhōng 。」

I said therefore to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am he, you will die in your sins.”

他們就問他說：「你是誰？」耶穌對他們說：「就是我從起初所告訴你們的。

tā men jiù wèn tā shuō ：「 nǐ shì shuí ？」 yē sū duì tā men shuō ：「 jiù shì wǒ cóng qǐ chū suǒ gào sù nǐ men de 。

They said therefore to him, “Who are you?” Jesus said to them, “Just what I have been saying to you from the beginning.

我有許多事講論你們，判斷你們；但那差我來的是真的，我在他那裏所聽見的，我就傳給世人。」

wǒ yǒu xǔ duō shì jiǎng lùn nǐ men ， pàn duàn nǐ men ； dàn nà chà wǒ lái de shì zhēn de ， wǒ zài tā nà lǐ suǒ tīng jiàn de ， wǒ jiù chuán gěi shì rén 。」

I have many things to speak and to judge concerning you. However, he who sent me is true; and the things which I heard from him, these I say to the world.”

他們不明白耶穌是指着父說的。

tā men bù míng bái yē sū shì zhǐ zhe fù shuō de 。

They didn’t understand that he spoke to them about the Father.

所以耶穌說：「你們舉起人子以後，必知道我是基督，並且知道我沒有一件事是憑着自己做的。我說這些話乃是照着父所教訓我的。

suǒ yǐ yē sū shuō ：「 nǐ men jǔ qǐ rén zǐ yǐ hòu ， bì zhī dào wǒ shì jī dū ， bìng qiě zhī dào wǒ méi yǒu yí jiàn shì shì píng zhe zì jǐ zuò de 。 wǒ shuō zhè xiē huà nǎi shì zhào zhe fù suǒ jiào xùn wǒ de 。

Jesus therefore said to them, “When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am he, and I do nothing of myself, but as my Father taught me, I say these things.

那差我來的是與我同在；他沒有撇下我獨自在這裏，因為我常做他所喜悅的事。」

nà chà wǒ lái de shì yǔ wǒ tóng zài ； tā méi yǒu piě xià wǒ dú zì zài zhè lǐ ， yīn wèi wǒ cháng zuò tā suǒ xǐ yuè de shì 。」

He who sent me is with me. The Father hasn’t left me alone, for I always do the things that are pleasing to him.”

耶穌說這話的時候，就有許多人信他。

yē sū shuō zhè huà de shí hòu ， jiù yǒu xǔ duō rén xìn tā 。

As he spoke these things, many believed in him.

耶穌對信他的猶太人說：「你們若常常遵守我的道，就真是我的門徒；

yē sū duì xìn tā de yóu tài rén shuō ：「 nǐ men ruò cháng cháng zūn shǒu wǒ de dào ， jiù zhēn shì wǒ de mén tú ；

Jesus therefore said to those Jews who had believed him, “If you remain in my word, then you are truly my disciples.

你們必曉得真理，真理必叫你們得以自由。」

nǐ men bì xiǎo de zhēn lǐ ， zhēn lǐ bì jiào nǐ men dé yǐ zì yóu 。」

You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”

他們回答說：「我們是亞伯拉罕的後裔，從來沒有作過誰的奴僕。你怎麼說『你們必得以自由』呢？」

tā men huí dá shuō ：「 wǒ men shì yà bó lā hǎn de hòu yì ， cóng lái méi yǒu zuò guò shuí de nú pú 。 nǐ zěn me shuō 『 nǐ men bì dé yǐ zì yóu 』 ne ？」

They answered him, “We are Abraham’s offspring, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How do you say, ‘You will be made free’ ?”

耶穌回答說：「我實實在在地告訴你們，所有犯罪的就是罪的奴僕。

yē sū huí dá shuō ：「 wǒ shí shí zài zài dì gào sù nǐ men ， suǒ yǒu fàn zuì de jiù shì zuì de nú pú 。

Jesus answered them, “Most certainly I tell you, everyone who commits sin is the bondservant of sin.

奴僕不能永遠住在家裏；兒子是永遠住在家裏。

nú pú bù néng yǒng yuǎn zhù zài jiā lǐ ； ér zi shì yǒng yuǎn zhù zài jiā lǐ 。

A bondservant doesn’t live in the house forever. A son remains forever.

所以天父的兒子若叫你們自由，你們就真自由了。

suǒ yǐ tiān fù de ér zi ruò jiào nǐ men zì yóu ， nǐ men jiù zhēn zì yóu le 。

If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed.

我知道你們是亞伯拉罕的子孫，你們卻想要殺我，因為你們心裏容不下我的道。

wǒ zhī dào nǐ men shì yà bó lā hǎn de zǐ sūn ， nǐ men què xiǎng yào shā wǒ ， yīn wèi nǐ men xīn lǐ róng bú xià wǒ de dào 。

I know that you are Abraham’s offspring, yet you seek to kill me, because my word finds no place in you.

我所說的是在我父那裏看見的；你們所行的是在你們的父那裏聽見的。」

wǒ suǒ shuō de shì zài wǒ fù nà lǐ kàn jiàn de ； nǐ men suǒ xíng de shì zài nǐ men de fù nà lǐ tīng jiàn de 。」

I say the things which I have seen with my Father; and you also do the things which you have seen with your father.”

他們說：「我們的父就是亞伯拉罕。」耶穌說：「你們若是亞伯拉罕的兒子，就必行亞伯拉罕所行的事。

tā men shuō ：「 wǒ men de fù jiù shì yà bó lā hǎn 。」 yē sū shuō ：「 nǐ men ruò shì yà bó lā hǎn de ér zi ， jiù bì xíng yà bó lā hǎn suǒ xíng de shì 。

They answered him, “Our father is Abraham.” Jesus said to them, “If you were Abraham’s children, you would do the works of Abraham.

我將在上帝那裏所聽見的真理告訴了你們，現在你們卻想要殺我，這不是亞伯拉罕所行的事。

wǒ jiāng zài shén nà lǐ suǒ tīng jiàn de zhēn lǐ gào sù le nǐ men ， xiàn zài nǐ men què xiǎng yào shā wǒ ， zhè bú shì yà bó lā hǎn suǒ xíng de shì 。

But now you seek to kill me, a man who has told you the truth which I heard from God. Abraham didn’t do this.

你們是行你們父所行的事。」他們說：「我們不是從淫亂生的；我們只有一位父，就是上帝。」

nǐ men shì xíng nǐ men fù suǒ xíng de shì 。」 tā men shuō ：「 wǒ men bú shì cóng yín luàn shēng de ； wǒ men zhǐ yǒu yí wèi fù ， jiù shì shén 。」

You do the works of your father.” They said to him, “We were not born of sexual immorality. We have one Father, God.”

耶穌說：「倘若上帝是你們的父，你們就必愛我；因為我本是出於上帝，也是從上帝而來，並不是由着自己來，乃是他差我來。

yē sū shuō ：「 tǎng ruò shén shì nǐ men de fù ， nǐ men jiù bì ài wǒ ； yīn wèi wǒ běn shì chū yú shén ， yě shì cóng shén ér lái ， bìng bú shì yóu zhe zì jǐ lái ， nǎi shì tā chà wǒ lái 。

Therefore Jesus said to them, “If God were your father, you would love me, for I came out and have come from God. For I haven’t come of myself, but he sent me.

你們為甚麼不明白我的話呢？無非是因你們不能聽我的道。

nǐ men wèi shén me bù míng bái wǒ de huà ne ？ wú fēi shì yīn nǐ men bù néng tīng wǒ de dào 。

Why don’t you understand my speech? Because you can’t hear my word.

你們是出於你們的父魔鬼，你們父的私慾你們偏要行。他從起初是殺人的，不守真理，因他心裏沒有真理。他說謊是出於自己；因他本來是說謊的，也是說謊之人的父。

nǐ men shì chū yú nǐ men de fù mó guǐ ， nǐ men fù de sī yù nǐ men piān yào xíng 。 tā cóng qǐ chū shì shā rén de ， bù shǒu zhēn lǐ ， yīn tā xīn lǐ méi yǒu zhēn lǐ 。 tā shuō huǎng shì chū yú zì jǐ ； yīn tā běn lái shì shuō huǎng de ， yě shì shuō huǎng zhī rén de fù 。

You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and doesn’t stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks on his own; for he is a liar, and the father of lies.

我將真理告訴你們，你們就因此不信我。

wǒ jiāng zhēn lǐ gào sù nǐ men ， nǐ men jiù yīn cǐ bú xìn wǒ 。

But because I tell the truth, you don’t believe me.

你們中間誰能指證我有罪呢？我既然將真理告訴你們，為甚麼不信我呢？

nǐ men zhōng jiān shuí néng zhǐ zhèng wǒ yǒu zuì ne ？ wǒ jì rán jiāng zhēn lǐ gào sù nǐ men ， wèi shén me bú xìn wǒ ne ？

Which of you convicts me of sin? If I tell the truth, why do you not believe me?

出於上帝的，必聽上帝的話；你們不聽，因為你們不是出於上帝。」

chū yú shén de ， bì tīng shén de huà ； nǐ men bù tīng ， yīn wèi nǐ men bú shì chū yú shén 。」

He who is of God hears the words of God. For this cause you don’t hear, because you are not of God.”

猶太人回答說：「我們說你是撒馬利亞人，並且是鬼附着的，這話豈不正對嗎？」

yóu tài rén huí dá shuō ：「 wǒ men shuō nǐ shì sā mǎ lì yà rén ， bìng qiě shì guǐ fù zhuó de ， zhè huà qǐ bú zhèng duì ma ？」

Then the Jews answered him, “Don’t we say well that you are a Samaritan, and have a demon?”

耶穌說：「我不是鬼附着的；我尊敬我的父，你們倒輕慢我。

yē sū shuō ：「 wǒ bú shì guǐ fù zhuó de ； wǒ zūn jìng wǒ de fù ， nǐ men dǎo qīng màn wǒ 。

Jesus answered, “I don’t have a demon, but I honor my Father and you dishonor me.

我不求自己的榮耀，有一位為我求榮耀、定是非的。

wǒ bù qiú zì jǐ de róng yào ， yǒu yí wèi wèi wǒ qiú róng yào 、 dìng shì fēi de 。

But I don’t seek my own glory. There is one who seeks and judges.

我實實在在地告訴你們，人若遵守我的道，就永遠不見死。」

wǒ shí shí zài zài dì gào sù nǐ men ， rén ruò zūn shǒu wǒ de dào ， jiù yǒng yuǎn bú jiàn sǐ 。」

Most certainly, I tell you, if a person keeps my word, he will never see death.”

猶太人對他說：「現在我們知道你是鬼附着的。亞伯拉罕死了，眾先知也死了，你還說：『人若遵守我的道，就永遠不嘗死味。』

yóu tài rén duì tā shuō ：「 xiàn zài wǒ men zhī dào nǐ shì guǐ fù zhuó de 。 yà bó lā hǎn sǐ le ， zhòng xiān zhī yě sǐ le ， nǐ hái shuō ：『 rén ruò zūn shǒu wǒ de dào ， jiù yǒng yuǎn bù cháng sǐ wèi 。』

Then the Jews said to him, “Now we know that you have a demon. Abraham died, as did the prophets; and you say, ‘If a man keeps my word, he will never taste of death.’

難道你比我們的祖宗亞伯拉罕還大嗎？他死了，眾先知也死了，你將自己當作甚麼人呢？」

nán dào nǐ bǐ wǒ men de zǔ zōng yà bó lā hǎn hái dà ma ？ tā sǐ le ， zhòng xiān zhī yě sǐ le ， nǐ jiāng zì jǐ dàng zuò shén me rén ne ？」

Are you greater than our father Abraham, who died? The prophets died. Who do you make yourself out to be?”

耶穌回答說：「我若榮耀自己，我的榮耀就算不得甚麼；榮耀我的乃是我的父，就是你們所說是你們的上帝。

yē sū huí dá shuō ：「 wǒ ruò róng yào zì jǐ ， wǒ de róng yào jiù suàn bù dé shén me ； róng yào wǒ de nǎi shì wǒ de fù ， jiù shì nǐ men suǒ shuō shì nǐ men de shén 。

Jesus answered, “If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing. It is my Father who glorifies me, of whom you say that he is our God.

你們未曾認識他；我卻認識他。我若說不認識他，我就是說謊的，像你們一樣；但我認識他，也遵守他的道。

nǐ men wèi céng rèn shi tā ； wǒ què rèn shi tā 。 wǒ ruò shuō bú rèn shi tā ， wǒ jiù shì shuō huǎng de ， xiàng nǐ men yí yàng ； dàn wǒ rèn shi tā ， yě zūn shǒu tā de dào 。

You have not known him, but I know him. If I said, ‘I don’t know him,’ I would be like you, a liar. But I know him and keep his word.

你們的祖宗亞伯拉罕歡歡喜喜地仰望我的日子，既看見了就快樂。」

nǐ men de zǔ zōng yà bó lā hǎn huān huān xǐ xǐ dì yǎng wàng wǒ de rì zi ， jì kàn jiàn le jiù kuài lè 。」

Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day. He saw it and was glad.”

猶太人說：「你還沒有五十歲，豈見過亞伯拉罕呢？」

yóu tài rén shuō ：「 nǐ hái méi yǒu wǔ shí suì ， qǐ jiàn guò yà bó lā hǎn ne ？」

The Jews therefore said to him, “You are not yet fifty years old! Have you seen Abraham?”

耶穌說：「我實實在在地告訴你們，還沒有亞伯拉罕就有了我。」

yē sū shuō ：「 wǒ shí shí zài zài dì gào sù nǐ men ， hái méi yǒu yà bó lā hǎn jiù yǒu le wǒ 。」

Jesus said to them, “Most certainly, I tell you, before Abraham came into existence, I AM.”

於是他們拿石頭要打他；耶穌卻躲藏，從殿裏出去了。

yú shì tā men ná shí tou yào dǎ tā ； yē sū què duǒ cáng ， cóng diàn lǐ chū qù le 。

Therefore they took up stones to throw at him, but Jesus hid himself and went out of the temple, having gone through the middle of them, and so passed by.
