約書亞記 3

約書亞清早起來，和以色列眾人都離開什亭，來到約旦河，就住在那裏，等候過河。

yuē shū yà qīng zǎo qǐ lái ， hé yǐ sè liè zhòng rén dōu lí kāi shén tíng ， lái dào yuē dàn hé ， jiù zhù zài nà lǐ ， děng hòu guò hé 。

Joshua got up early in the morning; and they moved from Shittim and came to the Jordan, he and all the children of Israel. They camped there before they crossed over.

過了三天，官長走遍營中，

guò le sān tiān ， guān zhǎng zǒu biàn yíng zhōng ，

After three days, the officers went through the middle of the camp;

吩咐百姓說：「你們看見耶和華－你們上帝的約櫃，又見祭司利未人抬着，就要離開所住的地方，跟着約櫃去。

fēn fù bǎi xìng shuō ：「 nǐ men kàn jiàn yē hé huá — nǐ men shén de yuē guì ， yòu jiàn jì sī lì wèi rén tái zhe ， jiù yào lí kāi suǒ zhù de dì fāng ， gēn zhe yuē guì qù 。

and they commanded the people, saying, “When you see the ark of the LORD your God’s covenant, and the Levitical priests bearing it, then leave your place and follow it.

只是你們和約櫃相離要量二千肘，不可與約櫃相近，使你們知道所當走的路，因為這條路你們向來沒有走過。」

zhī shì nǐ men hé yuē guì xiāng lí yào liáng èr qiān zhǒu ， bù kě yǔ yuē guì xiāng jìn ， shǐ nǐ men zhī dào suǒ dāng zǒu de lù ， yīn wèi zhè tiáo lù nǐ men xiàng lái méi yǒu zǒu guò 。」

Yet there shall be a space between you and it of about two thousand cubits by measure—don’t come closer to it—that you may know the way by which you must go; for you have not passed this way before.”

約書亞吩咐百姓說：「你們要自潔，因為明天耶和華必在你們中間行奇事。」

yuē shū yà fēn fù bǎi xìng shuō ：「 nǐ men yào zì jié ， yīn wèi míng tiān yē hé huá bì zài nǐ men zhōng jiān xíng qí shì 。」

Joshua said to the people, “Sanctify yourselves; for tomorrow the LORD will do wonders among you.”

約書亞又吩咐祭司說：「你們抬起約櫃，在百姓前頭過去。」於是他們抬起約櫃，在百姓前頭走。

yuē shū yà yòu fēn fù jì sī shuō ：「 nǐ men tái qǐ yuē guì ， zài bǎi xìng qián tou guò qù 。」 yú shì tā men tái qǐ yuē guì ， zài bǎi xìng qián tou zǒu 。

Joshua spoke to the priests, saying, “Take up the ark of the covenant, and cross over before the people.” They took up the ark of the covenant, and went before the people.

耶和華對約書亞說：「從今日起，我必使你在以色列眾人眼前尊大，使他們知道我怎樣與摩西同在，也必照樣與你同在。

yē hé huá duì yuē shū yà shuō ：「 cóng jīn rì qǐ ， wǒ bì shǐ nǐ zài yǐ sè liè zhòng rén yǎn qián zūn dà ， shǐ tā men zhī dào wǒ zěn yàng yǔ mó xī tóng zài ， yě bì zhào yàng yǔ nǐ tóng zài 。

The LORD said to Joshua, “Today I will begin to magnify you in the sight of all Israel, that they may know that as I was with Moses, so I will be with you.

你要吩咐抬約櫃的祭司說：『你們到了約旦河的水邊上，就要在約旦河水裏站住。』」

nǐ yào fēn fù tái yuē guì de jì sī shuō ：『 nǐ men dào le yuē dàn hé de shuǐ biān shàng ， jiù yào zài yuē dàn hé shuǐ lǐ zhàn zhù 。』」

You shall command the priests who bear the ark of the covenant, saying, ‘When you come to the brink of the waters of the Jordan, you shall stand still in the Jordan.’”

約書亞對以色列人說：「你們近前來，聽耶和華－你們上帝的話。」

yuē shū yà duì yǐ sè liè rén shuō ：「 nǐ men jìn qián lái ， tīng yē hé huá — nǐ men shén de huà 。」

Joshua said to the children of Israel, “Come here, and hear the words of the LORD your God.”

約書亞說：「看哪，普天下主的約櫃必在你們前頭過去，到約旦河裏，因此你們就知道在你們中間有永生上帝；並且他必在你們面前趕出迦南人、赫人、希未人、比利洗人、革迦撒人、亞摩利人、耶布斯人。

yuē shū yà shuō ：「 kàn nǎ ， pǔ tiān xià zhǔ de yuē guì bì zài nǐ men qián tóu guò qù ， dào yuē dàn hé lǐ ， yīn cǐ nǐ men jiù zhī dào zài nǐ men zhōng jiān yǒu yǒng shēng shén ； bìng qiě tā bì zài nǐ men miàn qián gǎn chū jiā nán rén 、 hè rén 、 xī wèi rén 、 bǐ lì xǐ rén 、 gé jiā sā rén 、 yà mó lì rén 、 yē bù sī rén 。

Joshua said, “By this you shall know that the living God is among you, and that he will without fail drive the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Hivite, the Perizzite, the Girgashite, the Amorite, and the Jebusite out from before you.

Behold, the ark of the covenant of the Lord of all the earth passes over before you into the Jordan.

你們現在要從以色列支派中揀選十二個人，每支派一人，

nǐ men xiàn zài yào cóng yǐ sè liè zhī pài zhōng jiǎn xuǎn shí èr gè rén ， měi zhī pài yì rén ，

Now therefore take twelve men out of the tribes of Israel, for every tribe a man.

等到抬普天下主耶和華約櫃的祭司把腳站在約旦河水裏，約旦河的水，就是從上往下流的水，必然斷絕，立起成壘。」

děng dào tái pǔ tiān xià zhǔ yē hé huá yuē guì de jì sī bǎ jiǎo zhàn zài yuē dàn hé shuǐ lǐ ， yuē dàn hé de shuǐ ， jiù shì cóng shàng wǎng xià liú de shuǐ ， bì rán duàn jué ， lì qǐ chéng lěi 。」

It shall be that when the soles of the feet of the priests who bear the ark of GOD, the Lord of all the earth, rest in the waters of the Jordan, that the waters of the Jordan will be cut off. The waters that come down from above shall stand in one heap.”

百姓離開帳棚要過約旦河的時候，抬約櫃的祭司乃在百姓的前頭。

bǎi xìng lí kāi zhàng péng yào guò yuē dàn hé de shí hòu ， tái yuē guì de jì sī nǎi zài bǎi xìng de qián tou 。

When the people moved from their tents to pass over the Jordan, the priests who bore the ark of the covenant being before the people,

他們到了約旦河，腳一入水（原來約旦河水在收割的日子漲過兩岸），

tā men dào le yuē dàn hé ， jiǎo yí rù shuǐ （ yuán lái yuē dàn hé shuǐ zài shōu gē de rì zi zhǎng guò liǎng àn ），

and when those who bore the ark had come to the Jordan, and the feet of the priests who bore the ark had dipped in the edge of the water (for the Jordan overflows all its banks all the time of harvest),

那從上往下流的水便在極遠之地、撒拉但旁的亞當城那裏停住，立起成壘；那往亞拉巴的海，就是鹽海，下流的水全然斷絕。於是百姓在耶利哥的對面過去了。

nà cóng shàng wǎng xià liú de shuǐ biàn zài jí yuǎn zhī dì 、 sā lā dàn páng de yà dāng chéng nà lǐ tíng zhù ， lì qǐ chéng lěi ； nà wǎng yà lā bā de hǎi ， jiù shì yán hǎi ， xià liú de shuǐ quán rán duàn jué 。 yú shì bǎi xìng zài yē lì gē de duì miàn guò qù le 。

the waters which came down from above stood, and rose up in one heap a great way off, at Adam, the city that is beside Zarethan; and those that went down toward the sea of the Arabah, even the Salt Sea, were wholly cut off. Then the people passed over near Jericho.

抬耶和華約櫃的祭司在約旦河中的乾地上站定，以色列眾人都從乾地上過去，直到國民盡都過了約旦河。

tái yē hé huá yuē guì de jì sī zài yuē dàn hé zhōng de gān dì shàng zhàn dìng ， yǐ sè liè zhòng rén dōu cóng gān dì shàng guò qù ， zhí dào guó mín jìn dōu guò le yuē dàn hé 。

The priests who bore the ark of the LORD’s covenant stood firm on dry ground in the middle of the Jordan; and all Israel crossed over on dry ground, until all the nation had passed completely over the Jordan.
