約書亞記 6

耶利哥的城門因以色列人就關得嚴緊，無人出入。

yē lì gē de chéng mén yīn yǐ sè liè rén jiù guān dé yán jǐn ， wú rén chū rù 。

Now Jericho was tightly shut up because of the children of Israel. No one went out, and no one came in.

耶和華曉諭約書亞說：「看哪，我已經把耶利哥和耶利哥的王，並大能的勇士，都交在你手中。

yē hé huá xiǎo yù yuē shū yà shuō ：「 kàn nǎ ， wǒ yǐ jīng bǎ yē lì gē hé yē lì gē de wáng ， bìng dà néng de yǒng shì ， dōu jiāo zài nǐ shǒu zhōng 。

The LORD said to Joshua, “Behold, I have given Jericho into your hand, with its king and the mighty men of valor.

你們的一切兵丁要圍繞這城，一日圍繞一次，六日都要這樣行。

nǐ men de yí qiè bīng dīng yào wéi rào zhè chéng ， yí rì wéi rào yí cì ， liù rì dōu yào zhè yàng xíng 。

All of your men of war shall march around the city, going around the city once. You shall do this six days.

七個祭司要拿七個羊角走在約櫃前。到第七日，你們要繞城七次，祭司也要吹角。

qī gè jì sī yào ná qī gè yáng jiǎo zǒu zài yuē guì qián 。 dào dì qī rì ， nǐ men yào rào chéng qī cì ， jì sī yě yào chuī jiǎo 。

Seven priests shall bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark. On the seventh day, you shall march around the city seven times, and the priests shall blow the trumpets.

他們吹的角聲拖長，你們聽見角聲，眾百姓要大聲呼喊，城牆就必塌陷，各人都要往前直上。」

tā men chuī de jiǎo shēng tuō cháng ， nǐ men tīng jiàn jiǎo shēng ， zhòng bǎi xìng yào dà shēng hū hǎn ， chéng qiáng jiù bì tā xiàn ， gè rén dōu yào wǎng qián zhí shàng 。」

It shall be that when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, and when you hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; then the city wall will fall down flat, and the people shall go up, every man straight in front of him.”

嫩的兒子約書亞召了祭司來，吩咐他們說：「你們抬起約櫃來，要有七個祭司拿七個羊角走在耶和華的約櫃前」；

nèn de ér zǐ yuē shū yà zhào le jì sī lái ， fēn fù tā men shuō ：「 nǐ men tái qǐ yuē guì lái ， yào yǒu qī gè jì sī ná qī gè yáng jiǎo zǒu zài yē hé huá de yuē guì qián 」；

Joshua the son of Nun called the priests, and said to them, “Take up the ark of the covenant, and let seven priests bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the LORD’s ark.”

又對百姓說：「你們前去繞城，帶兵器的要走在耶和華的約櫃前。」

yòu duì bǎi xìng shuō ：「 nǐ men qián qù rào chéng ， dài bīng qì de yào zǒu zài yē hé huá de yuē guì qián 。」

They said to the people, “Advance! March around the city, and let the armed men pass on before the LORD’s ark.”

約書亞對百姓說完了話，七個祭司拿七個羊角走在耶和華面前吹角；耶和華的約櫃在他們後面跟隨。

yuē shū yà duì bǎi xìng shuō wán le huà ， qī gè jì sī ná qī gè yáng jiǎo zǒu zài yē hé huá miàn qián chuī jiǎo ； yē hé huá de yuē guì zài tā men hòu miàn gēn suí 。

It was so, that when Joshua had spoken to the people, the seven priests bearing the seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the LORD advanced and blew the trumpets, and the ark of the LORD’s covenant followed them.

帶兵器的走在吹角的祭司前面，後隊隨着約櫃行。祭司一面走一面吹。

dài bīng qì de zǒu zài chuī jiǎo de jì sī qián miàn ， hòu duì suí zhe yuē guì xíng 。 jì sī yí miàn zǒu yí miàn chuī 。

The armed men went before the priests who blew the trumpets, and the ark went after them. The trumpets sounded as they went.

約書亞吩咐百姓說：「你們不可呼喊，不可出聲，連一句話也不可出你們的口，等到我吩咐你們呼喊的日子，那時才可以呼喊。」

yuē shū yà fēn fù bǎi xìng shuō ：「 nǐ men bù kě hū hǎn ， bù kě chū shēng ， lián yí jù huà yě bù kě chū nǐ men de kǒu ， děng dào wǒ fēn fù nǐ men hū hǎn de rì zi ， nà shí cái kě yǐ hū hǎn 。」

Joshua commanded the people, saying, “You shall not shout nor let your voice be heard, neither shall any word proceed out of your mouth until the day I tell you to shout. Then you shall shout.”

這樣，他使耶和華的約櫃繞城，把城繞了一次；眾人回到營裏，就在營裏住宿。

zhè yàng ， tā shǐ yē hé huá de yuē guì rào chéng ， bǎ chéng rào le yí cì ； zhòng rén huí dào yíng lǐ ， jiù zài yíng lǐ zhù sù 。

So he caused the LORD’s ark to go around the city, circling it once. Then they came into the camp, and stayed in the camp.

約書亞清早起來，祭司又抬起耶和華的約櫃。

yuē shū yà qīng zǎo qǐ lái ， jì sī yòu tái qǐ yē hé huá de yuē guì 。

Joshua rose early in the morning, and the priests took up the LORD’s ark.

七個祭司拿七個羊角在耶和華的約櫃前，時常行走吹角；帶兵器的在他們前面走，後隊隨着耶和華的約櫃行。祭司一面走一面吹。

qī gè jì sī ná qī gè yáng jiǎo zài yē hé huá de yuē guì qián ， shí cháng xíng zǒu chuī jiǎo ； dài bīng qì de zài tā men qián miàn zǒu ， hòu duì suí zhe yē hé huá de yuē guì xíng 。 jì sī yí miàn zǒu yí miàn chuī 。

The seven priests bearing the seven trumpets of rams’ horns in front of the LORD’s ark went on continually, and blew the trumpets. The armed men went in front of them. The rear guard came after the LORD’s ark. The trumpets sounded as they went.

第二日，眾人把城繞了一次，就回營裏去。六日都是這樣行。

dì èr rì ， zhòng rén bǎ chéng rào le yí cì ， jiù huí yíng lǐ qù 。 liù rì dōu shì zhè yàng xíng 。

The second day they marched around the city once, and returned into the camp. They did this six days.

第七日清早，黎明的時候，他們起來，照樣繞城七次；惟獨這日把城繞了七次。

dì qī rì qīng zǎo ， lí míng de shí hòu ， tā men qǐ lái ， zhào yàng rào chéng qī cì ； wéi dú zhè rì bǎ chéng rào le qī cì 。

On the seventh day, they rose early at the dawning of the day, and marched around the city in the same way seven times. On this day only they marched around the city seven times.

到了第七次，祭司吹角的時候，約書亞吩咐百姓說：「呼喊吧，因為耶和華已經把城交給你們了！

dào le dì qī cì ， jì sī chuī jiǎo de shí hòu ， yuē shū yà fēn fù bǎi xìng shuō ：「 hū hǎn ba ， yīn wèi yē hé huá yǐ jīng bǎ chéng jiāo gěi nǐ men le ！

At the seventh time, when the priests blew the trumpets, Joshua said to the people, “Shout, for the LORD has given you the city!

這城和其中所有的都要在耶和華面前毀滅；只有妓女喇合與她家中所有的可以存活，因為她隱藏了我們所打發的使者。

zhè chéng hé qí zhōng suǒ yǒu de dōu yào zài yē hé huá miàn qián huǐ miè ； zhǐ yǒu jì nǚ lā hé yǔ tā jiā zhōng suǒ yǒu de kě yǐ cún huó ， yīn wèi tā yǐn cáng le wǒ men suǒ dǎ fā de shǐ zhě 。

The city shall be devoted, even it and all that is in it, to the LORD. Only Rahab the prostitute shall live, she and all who are with her in the house, because she hid the messengers that we sent.

至於你們，務要謹慎，不可取那當滅的物，恐怕你們取了那當滅的物就連累以色列的全營，使全營受咒詛。

zhì yú nǐ men ， wù yào jǐn shèn ， bù kě qǔ nà dāng miè de wù ， kǒng pà nǐ men qǔ le nà dāng miè de wù jiù lián lèi yǐ sè liè de quán yíng ， shǐ quán yíng shòu zhòu zǔ 。

But as for you, only keep yourselves from what is devoted to destruction, lest when you have devoted it, you take of the devoted thing; so you would make the camp of Israel accursed and trouble it.

惟有金子、銀子，和銅鐵的器皿都要歸耶和華為聖，必入耶和華的庫中。」

wéi yǒu jīn zǐ 、 yín zi ， hé tóng tiě de qì mǐn dōu yào guī yē hé huá wèi shèng ， bì rù yē hé huá de kù zhōng 。」

But all the silver, gold, and vessels of bronze and iron are holy to the LORD. They shall come into the LORD’s treasury.”

於是百姓呼喊，祭司也吹角。百姓聽見角聲，便大聲呼喊，城牆就塌陷，百姓便上去進城，各人往前直上，將城奪取；

yú shì bǎi xìng hū hǎn ， jì sī yě chuī jiǎo 。 bǎi xìng tīng jiàn jiǎo shēng ， biàn dà shēng hū hǎn ， chéng qiáng jiù tā xiàn ， bǎi xìng biàn shàng qù jìn chéng ， gè rén wǎng qián zhí shàng ， jiāng chéng duó qǔ ；

So the people shouted and the priests blew the trumpets. When the people heard the sound of the trumpet, the people shouted with a great shout, and the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight in front of him, and they took the city.

又將城中所有的，不拘男女老少，牛羊和驢，都用刀殺盡。

yòu jiāng chéng zhōng suǒ yǒu de ， bù jū nán nǚ lǎo shào ， niú yáng hé lǘ ， dōu yòng dāo shā jìn 。

They utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, both young and old, and ox, sheep, and donkey, with the edge of the sword.

約書亞吩咐窺探地的兩個人說：「你們進那妓女的家，照着你們向她所起的誓，將那女人和她所有的都從那裏帶出來。」

yuē shū yà fēn fù kuī tàn dì de liǎng gè rén shuō ：「 nǐ men jìn nà jì nǚ de jiā ， zhào zhe nǐ men xiàng tā suǒ qǐ de shì ， jiāng nà nǚ rén hé tā suǒ yǒu de dōu cóng nà lǐ dài chū lái 。」

Joshua said to the two men who had spied out the land, “Go into the prostitute’s house, and bring the woman and all that she has out from there, as you swore to her.”

當探子的兩個少年人就進去，將喇合與她的父母、弟兄，和她所有的，並她一切的親眷，都帶出來，安置在以色列的營外。

dāng tàn zǐ de liǎng gè shào nián rén jiù jìn qù ， jiāng lā hé yǔ tā de fù mǔ 、 dì xiong ， hé tā suǒ yǒu de ， bìng tā yí qiè de qīn juàn ， dōu dài chū lái ， ān zhì zài yǐ sè liè de yíng wài 。

The young men who were spies went in, and brought out Rahab with her father, her mother, her brothers, and all that she had. They also brought out all of her relatives, and they set them outside of the camp of Israel.

眾人就用火將城和其中所有的焚燒了；惟有金子、銀子，和銅鐵的器皿都放在耶和華殿的庫中。

zhòng rén jiù yòng huǒ jiāng chéng hé qí zhōng suǒ yǒu de fén shāo le ； wéi yǒu jīn zǐ 、 yín zi ， hé tóng tiě de qì mǐn dōu fàng zài yē hé huá diàn de kù zhōng 。

They burned the city with fire, and all that was in it. Only they put the silver, the gold, and the vessels of bronze and of iron into the treasury of the LORD’s house.

約書亞卻把妓女喇合與她父家，並她所有的，都救活了；因為她隱藏了約書亞所打發窺探耶利哥的使者，她就住在以色列中，直到今日。

yuē shū yà què bǎ jì nǚ lā hé yǔ tā fù jiā ， bìng tā suǒ yǒu de ， dōu jiù huó le ； yīn wèi tā yǐn cáng le yuē shū yà suǒ dǎ fā kuī tàn yē lì gē de shǐ zhě ， tā jiù zhù zài yǐ sè liè zhōng ， zhí dào jīn rì 。

But Rahab the prostitute, her father’s household, and all that she had, Joshua saved alive. She lives in the middle of Israel to this day, because she hid the messengers whom Joshua sent to spy out Jericho.

當時，約書亞叫眾人起誓說：「有興起重修這耶利哥城的人，當在耶和華面前受咒詛。 他立根基的時候，必喪長子， 安門的時候，必喪幼子。」

dāng shí ， yuē shū yà jiào zhòng rén qǐ shì shuō ：「 yǒu xīng qǐ chóng xiū zhè yē lì gē chéng de rén ， dāng zài yē hé huá miàn qián shòu zhòu zǔ 。 tā lì gēn jī de shí hòu ， bì sàng zhǎng zǐ ， ān mén de shí hòu ， bì sàng yòu zǐ 。」

Joshua commanded them with an oath at that time, saying, “Cursed is the man before the LORD who rises up and builds this city Jericho. With the loss of his firstborn he will lay its foundation, and with the loss of his youngest son he will set up its gates.”

耶和華與約書亞同在，約書亞的聲名傳揚遍地。

yē hé huá yǔ yuē shū yà tóng zài ， yuē shū yà de shēng míng chuán yáng biàn dì 。

So the LORD was with Joshua; and his fame was in all the land.
