士師記 18

那時，以色列中沒有王。但支派的人仍是尋地居住；因為到那日子，他們還沒有在以色列支派中得地為業。

nà shí ， yǐ sè liè zhōng méi yǒu wáng 。 dàn zhī pài de rén réng shì xún dì jū zhù ； yīn wèi dào nà rì zi ， tā men hái méi yǒu zài yǐ sè liè zhī pài zhōng dé dì wèi yè 。

In those days there was no king in Israel. In those days the tribe of the Danites sought an inheritance to dwell in; for to that day, their inheritance had not fallen to them among the tribes of Israel.

但人從瑣拉和以實陶打發本族中的五個勇士，去仔細窺探那地，吩咐他們說：「你們去窺探那地。」他們來到以法蓮山地，進了米迦的住宅，就在那裏住宿。

dàn rén cóng suǒ lā hé yǐ shí táo dǎ fā běn zú zhōng de wǔ gè yǒng shì ， qù zǎi xì kuī tàn nà dì ， fēn fù tā men shuō ：「 nǐ men qù kuī tàn nà dì 。」 tā men lái dào yǐ fǎ lián shān dì ， jìn le mǐ jiā de zhù zhái ， jiù zài nà lǐ zhù sù 。

The children of Dan sent five men of their family from their whole number, men of valor, from Zorah and from Eshtaol, to spy out the land and to search it. They said to them, “Go, explore the land!” They came to the hill country of Ephraim, to the house of Micah, and lodged there.

他們臨近米迦的住宅，聽出那少年利未人的口音來，就進去問他說：「誰領你到這裏來？你在這裏做甚麼？你在這裏得甚麼？」

tā men lín jìn mǐ jiā de zhù zhái ， tīng chū nà shào nián lì wèi rén de kǒu yīn lái ， jiù jìn qù wèn tā shuō ：「 shuí lǐng nǐ dào zhè lǐ lái ？ nǐ zài zhè lǐ zuò shén me ？ nǐ zài zhè lǐ dé shén me ？」

When they were by the house of Micah, they knew the voice of the young man the Levite; so they went over there and said to him, “Who brought you here? What do you do in this place? What do you have here?”

他回答說：「米迦待我如此如此，請我作祭司。」

tā huí dá shuō ：「 mǐ jiā dài wǒ rú cǐ rú cǐ ， qǐng wǒ zuò jì sī 。」

He said to them, “Thus and thus has Micah dealt with me, and he has hired me, and I have become his priest.”

他們對他說：「請你求問上帝，使我們知道所行的道路通達不通達。」

tā men duì tā shuō ：「 qǐng nǐ qiú wèn shén ， shǐ wǒ men zhī dào suǒ xíng de dào lù tōng dá bù tōng dá 。」

They said to him, “Please ask counsel of God, that we may know whether our way which we go shall be prosperous.”

祭司對他們說：「你們可以平平安安地去，你們所行的道路是在耶和華面前的。」

jì sī duì tā men shuō ：「 nǐ men kě yǐ píng píng ān ān dì qù ， nǐ men suǒ xíng de dào lù shì zài yē hé huá miàn qián de 。」

The priest said to them, “Go in peace. Your way in which you go is before the LORD.”

五人就走了，來到拉億，見那裏的民安居無慮，如同西頓人安居一樣。在那地沒有人掌權擾亂他們；他們離西頓人也遠，與別人沒有來往。

wǔ rén jiù zǒu le ， lái dào lā yì ， jiàn nà lǐ de mín ān jū wú lǜ ， rú tóng xī dùn rén ān jū yí yàng 。 zài nà dì méi yǒu rén zhǎng quán rǎo luàn tā men ； tā men lí xī dùn rén yě yuǎn ， yǔ bié rén méi yǒu lái wǎng 。

Then the five men departed and came to Laish and saw the people who were there, how they lived in safety, in the way of the Sidonians, quiet and secure; for there was no one in the land possessing authority, that might put them to shame in anything, and they were far from the Sidonians, and had no dealings with anyone else.

五人回到瑣拉和以實陶，見他們的弟兄；弟兄問他們說：「你們有甚麼話？」

wǔ rén huí dào suǒ lā hé yǐ shí táo ， jiàn tā men de dì xiong ； dì xiong wèn tā men shuō ：「 nǐ men yǒu shén me huà ？」

They came to their brothers at Zorah and Eshtaol; and their brothers asked them, “What do you say?”

他們回答說：「起來，我們上去攻擊他們吧！我們已經窺探那地，見那地甚好。你們為何靜坐不動呢？要急速前往得那地為業，不可遲延。

tā men huí dá shuō ：「 qǐ lái ， wǒ men shàng qù gōng jī tā men ba ！ wǒ men yǐ jīng kuī tàn nà dì ， jiàn nà dì shèn hǎo 。 nǐ men wèi hé jìng zuò bú dòng ne ？ yào jí sù qián wǎng dé nà dì wèi yè ， bù kě chí yán 。

They said, “Arise, and let’s go up against them; for we have seen the land, and behold, it is very good. Do you stand still? Don’t be slothful to go and to enter in to possess the land.

你們到了那裏，必看見安居無慮的民，地也寬闊。上帝已將那地交在你們手中；那地百物俱全，一無所缺。」

nǐ men dào le nà lǐ ， bì kàn jiàn ān jū wú lǜ de mín ， dì yě kuān kuò 。 shén yǐ jiāng nà dì jiāo zài nǐ men shǒu zhōng ； nà dì bǎi wù jù quán ， yì wú suǒ quē 。」

When you go, you will come to an unsuspecting people, and the land is large; for God has given it into your hand, a place where there is no lack of anything that is in the earth.”

於是但族中的六百人，各帶兵器，從瑣拉和以實陶前往，

yú shì dàn zú zhōng de liù bǎi rén ， gè dài bīng qì ， cóng suǒ lā hé yǐ shí táo qián wǎng ，

The family of the Danites set out from Zorah and Eshtaol with six hundred men armed with weapons of war.

上到猶大的基列‧耶琳，在基列‧耶琳後邊安營。因此那地方名叫瑪哈尼‧但，直到今日。

shàng dào yóu dà de jī liè · yē lín ， zài jī liè · yē lín hòu biān ān yíng 。 yīn cǐ nà dì fāng míng jiào mǎ hā ní · dàn ， zhí dào jīn rì 。

They went up and encamped in Kiriath Jearim in Judah. Therefore they call that place Mahaneh Dan to this day. Behold, it is behind Kiriath Jearim.

他們從那裏往以法蓮山地去，來到米迦的住宅。

tā men cóng nà lǐ wǎng yǐ fǎ lián shān dì qù ， lái dào mǐ jiā de zhù zhái 。

They passed from there to the hill country of Ephraim, and came to the house of Micah.

從前窺探拉億地的五個人對他們的弟兄說：「這宅子裏有以弗得和家中的神像，並雕刻的像與鑄成的像，你們知道嗎？現在你們要想一想當怎樣行。」

cóng qián kuī tàn lā yì dì de wǔ gè rén duì tā men de dì xiong shuō ：「 zhè zhái zǐ lǐ yǒu yǐ fú dé hé jiā zhōng de shén xiàng ， bìng diāo kè de xiàng yǔ zhù chéng de xiàng ， nǐ men zhī dào ma ？ xiàn zài nǐ men yào xiǎng yi xiǎng dāng zěn yàng xíng 。」

Then the five men who went to spy out the country of Laish answered and said to their brothers, “Do you know that there is in these houses an ephod, and teraphim, and a carved image, and a molten image? Now therefore consider what you have to do.”

五人就進入米迦的住宅，到了那少年利未人的房內問他好。

wǔ rén jiù jìn rù mǐ jiā de zhù zhái ， dào le nà shào nián lì wèi rén de fáng nèi wèn tā hǎo 。

They went over there and came to the house of the young Levite man, even to the house of Micah, and asked him how he was doing.

那六百但人各帶兵器，站在門口。

nà liù bǎi dàn rén gè dài bīng qì ， zhàn zài mén kǒu 。

The six hundred men armed with their weapons of war, who were of the children of Dan, stood by the entrance of the gate.

窺探地的五個人走進去，將雕刻的像、以弗得、家中的神像，並鑄成的像，都拿了去。祭司和帶兵器的六百人，一同站在門口。

kuī tàn dì de wǔ gè rén zǒu jìn qù ， jiāng diāo kè de xiàng 、 yǐ fú dé 、 jiā zhōng de shén xiàng ， bìng zhù chéng de xiàng ， dōu ná le qù 。 jì sī hé dài bīng qì de liù bǎi rén ， yì tóng zhàn zài mén kǒu 。

The five men who went to spy out the land went up, and came in there, and took the engraved image, the ephod, the teraphim, and the molten image; and the priest stood by the entrance of the gate with the six hundred men armed with weapons of war.

那五個人進入米迦的住宅，拿出雕刻的像、以弗得、家中的神像，並鑄成的像，祭司就問他們說：「你們做甚麼呢？」

nà wǔ gè rén jìn rù mǐ jiā de zhù zhái ， ná chū diāo kè de xiàng 、 yǐ fú dé 、 jiā zhōng de shén xiàng ， bìng zhù chéng de xiàng ， jì sī jiù wèn tā men shuō ：「 nǐ men zuò shén me ne ？」

When these went into Micah’s house, and took the engraved image, the ephod, the teraphim, and the molten image, the priest said to them, “What are you doing?”

他們回答說：「不要作聲，用手摀口，跟我們去吧！我們必以你為父、為祭司。你作一家的祭司好呢？還是作以色列一族一支派的祭司好呢？」

tā men huí dá shuō ：「 bú yào zuò shēng ， yòng shǒu wǔ kǒu ， gēn wǒ men qù ba ！ wǒ men bì yǐ nǐ wèi fù 、 wèi jì sī 。 nǐ zuò yì jiā de jì sī hǎo ne ？ hái shì zuò yǐ sè liè yì zú yì zhī pài de jì sī hǎo ne ？」

They said to him, “Hold your peace, put your hand on your mouth, and go with us. Be a father and a priest to us. Is it better for you to be priest to the house of one man, or to be priest to a tribe and a family in Israel?”

祭司心裏喜悅，便拿着以弗得和家中的神像，並雕刻的像，進入他們中間。

jì sī xīn lǐ xǐ yuè ， biàn ná zhe yǐ fú dé hé jiā zhōng de shén xiàng ， bìng diāo kè de xiàng ， jìn rù tā men zhōng jiān 。

The priest’s heart was glad, and he took the ephod, the teraphim, and the engraved image, and went with the people.

他們就轉身離開那裏，妻子、兒女、牲畜、財物都在前頭。

tā men jiù zhuǎn shēn lí kāi nà lǐ ， qī zǐ 、 ér nǚ 、 shēng chù 、 cái wù dōu zài qián tou 。

So they turned and departed, and put the little ones, the livestock, and the goods before them.

離米迦的住宅已遠，米迦的近鄰都聚集來，追趕但人，

lí mǐ jiā de zhù zhái yǐ yuǎn ， mǐ jiā de jìn lín dōu jù jí lái ， zhuī gǎn dàn rén ，

When they were a good way from the house of Micah, the men who were in the houses near Micah’s house gathered together and overtook the children of Dan.

呼叫但人。但人回頭問米迦說：「你聚集這許多人來做甚麼呢？」

hū jiào dàn rén 。 dàn rén huí tóu wèn mǐ jiā shuō ：「 nǐ jù jí zhè xǔ duō rén lái zuò shén me ne ？」

As they called to the children of Dan, they turned their faces, and said to Micah, “What ails you, that you come with such a company?”

米迦說：「你們將我所做的神像和祭司都帶了去，我還有所剩的嗎？怎麼還問我說『做甚麼』呢？」

mǐ jiā shuō ：「 nǐ men jiāng wǒ suǒ zuò de shén xiàng hé jì sī dōu dài le qù ， wǒ hái yǒu suǒ shèng de ma ？ zěn me hái wèn wǒ shuō 『 zuò shén me 』 ne ？」

He said, “You have taken away my gods which I made, and the priest, and have gone away! What more do I have? How can you ask me, ‘What ails you?’”

但人對米迦說：「你不要使我們聽見你的聲音，恐怕有性暴的人攻擊你，以致你和你的全家盡都喪命。」

dàn rén duì mǐ jiā shuō ：「 nǐ bú yào shǐ wǒ men tīng jiàn nǐ de shēng yīn ， kǒng pà yǒu xìng bào de rén gōng jī nǐ ， yǐ zhì nǐ hé nǐ de quán jiā jìn dōu sàng mìng 。」

The children of Dan said to him, “Don’t let your voice be heard among us, lest angry fellows fall on you, and you lose your life, with the lives of your household.”

但人還是走他們的路。米迦見他們的勢力比自己強盛，就轉身回家去了。

dàn rén hái shì zǒu tā men de lù 。 mǐ jiā jiàn tā men de shì lì bǐ zì jǐ qiáng shèng ， jiù zhuǎn shēn huí jiā qù le 。

The children of Dan went their way; and when Micah saw that they were too strong for him, he turned and went back to his house.

但人將米迦所做的神像和他的祭司都帶到拉億，見安居無慮的民，就用刀殺了那民，又放火燒了那城，

dàn rén jiāng mǐ jiā suǒ zuò de shén xiàng hé tā de jì sī dōu dài dào lā yì ， jiàn ān jū wú lǜ de mín ， jiù yòng dāo shā le nà mín ， yòu fàng huǒ shāo le nà chéng ，

They took that which Micah had made, and the priest whom he had, and came to Laish, to a people quiet and unsuspecting, and struck them with the edge of the sword; then they burned the city with fire.

並無人搭救；因為離西頓遠，他們又與別人沒有來往。城在平原，那平原靠近伯‧利合。但人又在那裏修城居住，

bìng wú rén dā jiù ； yīn wèi lí xī dùn yuǎn ， tā men yòu yǔ bié rén méi yǒu lái wǎng 。 chéng zài píng yuán ， nà píng yuán kào jìn bó · lì hé 。 dàn rén yòu zài nà lǐ xiū chéng jū zhù ，

There was no deliverer, because it was far from Sidon, and they had no dealings with anyone else; and it was in the valley that lies by Beth Rehob. They built the city and lived in it.

照着他們始祖以色列之子但的名字，給那城起名叫但；原先那城名叫拉億。

zhào zhe tā men shǐ zǔ yǐ sè liè zhī zǐ dàn de míng zì ， gěi nà chéng qǐ míng jiào dàn ； yuán xiān nà chéng míng jiào lā yì 。

They called the name of the city Dan, after the name of Dan their father, who was born to Israel; however the name of the city used to be Laish.

但人就為自己設立那雕刻的像。摩西的孫子、革舜的兒子約拿單，和他的子孫作但支派的祭司，直到那地遭擄掠的日子。

dàn rén jiù wèi zì jǐ shè lì nà diāo kè de xiàng 。 mó xī de sūn zi 、 gé shùn de ér zi yuē ná dān ， hé tā de zǐ sūn zuò dàn zhī pài de jì sī ， zhí dào nà dì zāo lǔ lüè de rì zi 。

The children of Dan set up for themselves the engraved image; and Jonathan, the son of Gershom, the son of Moses, and his sons were priests to the tribe of the Danites until the day of the captivity of the land.

上帝的殿在示羅多少日子，但人為自己設立米迦所雕刻的像也在但多少日子。

shén de diàn zài shì luó duō shǎo rì zi ， dàn rén wéi zì jǐ shè lì mǐ jiā suǒ diāo kè de xiàng yě zài dàn duō shǎo rì zi 。

So they set up for themselves Micah’s engraved image which he made, and it remained all the time that God’s house was in Shiloh.
