馬太福音 20

「因為天國好像家主清早去雇人進他的葡萄園做工，

「 yīn wèi tiān guó hǎo xiàng jiā zhǔ qīng zǎo qù gù rén jìn tā de pú táo yuán zuò gōng ，

“For the Kingdom of Heaven is like a man who was the master of a household, who went out early in the morning to hire laborers for his vineyard.

和工人講定一天一錢銀子，就打發他們進葡萄園去。

hé gōng rén jiǎng dìng yì tiān yì qián yín zi ， jiù dǎ fā tā men jìn pú táo yuán qù 。

When he had agreed with the laborers for a denarius a day, he sent them into his vineyard.

約在巳初出去，看見市上還有閒站的人，

yuē zài sì chū chū qù ， kàn jiàn shì shàng hái yǒu xián zhàn de rén ，

He went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace.

就對他們說：『你們也進葡萄園去，所當給的，我必給你們。』他們也進去了。

jiù duì tā men shuō ：『 nǐ men yě jìn pú táo yuán qù ， suǒ dāng gěi de ， wǒ bì gěi nǐ men 。』 tā men yě jìn qù le 。

He said to them, ‘You also go into the vineyard, and whatever is right I will give you.’ So they went their way.

約在午正和申初又出去，也是這樣行。

yuē zài wǔ zhèng hé shēn chū yòu chū qù ， yě shì zhè yàng xíng 。

Again he went out about the sixth and the ninth hour, and did likewise.

約在酉初出去，看見還有人站在那裏，就問他們說：『你們為甚麼整天在這裏閒站呢？』

yuē zài yǒu chū chū qù ， kàn jiàn hái yǒu rén zhàn zài nà lǐ ， jiù wèn tā men shuō ：『 nǐ men wèi shén me zhěng tiān zài zhè lǐ xián zhàn ne ？』

About the eleventh hour he went out and found others standing idle. He said to them, ‘Why do you stand here all day idle?’

他們說：『因為沒有人雇我們。』他說：『你們也進葡萄園去。』

tā men shuō ：『 yīn wèi méi yǒu rén gù wǒ men 。』 tā shuō ：『 nǐ men yě jìn pú táo yuán qù 。』

“They said to him, ‘Because no one has hired us.’ “He said to them, ‘You also go into the vineyard, and you will receive whatever is right.’

到了晚上，園主對管事的說：『叫工人都來，給他們工錢，從後來的起，到先來的為止。』

dào le wǎn shàng ， yuán zhǔ duì guǎn shì de shuō ：『 jiào gōng rén dōu lái ， gěi tā men gōng qián ， cóng hòu lái de qǐ ， dào xiān lái de wéi zhǐ 。

“When evening had come, the lord of the vineyard said to his manager, ‘Call the laborers and pay them their wages, beginning from the last to the first.’

約在酉初雇的人來了，各人得了一錢銀子。

yuē zài yǒu chū gù de rén lái le ， gè rén dé le yì qián yín zi 。

“When those who were hired at about the eleventh hour came, they each received a denarius.

及至那先雇的來了，他們以為必要多得；誰知也是各得一錢。

jí zhì nà xiān gù de lái le ， tā men yǐ wéi bì yào duō dé ； shuí zhī yě shì gè dé yì qián 。

When the first came, they supposed that they would receive more; and they likewise each received a denarius.

他們得了，就埋怨家主說：

tā men dé le ， jiù mán yuàn jiā zhǔ shuō ：

When they received it, they murmured against the master of the household,

『我們整天勞苦受熱，那後來的只做了一小時，你竟叫他們和我們一樣嗎？』

『 wǒ men zhěng tiān láo kǔ shòu rè ， nà hòu lái de zhī zuò le yì xiǎo shí ， nǐ jìng jiào tā men hé wǒ men yí yàng ma ？』

saying, ‘These last have spent one hour, and you have made them equal to us who have borne the burden of the day and the scorching heat!’

家主回答其中的一人說：『朋友，我不虧負你，你與我講定的不是一錢銀子嗎？

jiā zhǔ huí dá qí zhōng de yì rén shuō ：『 péng yǒu ， wǒ bù kuī fù nǐ ， nǐ yǔ wǒ jiǎng dìng de bú shì yì qián yín zi ma ？

“But he answered one of them, ‘Friend, I am doing you no wrong. Didn’t you agree with me for a denarius?

拿你的走吧！我給那後來的和給你一樣，這是我願意的。

ná nǐ de zǒu ba ！ wǒ gěi nà hòu lái de hé gěi nǐ yí yàng ， zhè shì wǒ yuàn yì de 。

Take that which is yours, and go your way. It is my desire to give to this last just as much as to you.

我的東西難道不可隨我的意思用嗎？因為我作好人，你就紅了眼嗎？』

wǒ de dōng xī nán dào bù kě suí wǒ de yì sī yòng ma ？ yīn wèi wǒ zuò hǎo rén ， nǐ jiù hóng le yǎn ma ？』

Isn’t it lawful for me to do what I want to with what I own? Or is your eye evil, because I am good?’

這樣，那在後的，將要在前；在前的，將要在後了。 」

zhè yàng ， nà zài hòu de ， jiāng yào zài qián ； zài qián de ， jiāng yào zài hòu le 。 」

So the last will be first, and the first last. For many are called, but few are chosen.”

耶穌上耶路撒冷去的時候，在路上把十二個門徒帶到一邊，對他們說：

yē sū shàng yē lù sā lěng qù de shí hòu ， zài lù shang bǎ shí èr gè mén tú dài dào yì biān ， duì tā men shuō ：

As Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, he took the twelve disciples aside, and on the way he said to them,

「看哪，我們上耶路撒冷去，人子要被交給祭司長和文士。他們要定他死罪，

「 kàn nǎ ， wǒ men shàng yē lù sā lěng qù ， rén zǐ yào bèi jiāo gěi jì sī zhǎng hé wén shì 。 tā men yào dìng tā sǐ zuì ，

“Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be delivered to the chief priests and scribes, and they will condemn him to death,

又交給外邦人，將他戲弄，鞭打，釘在十字架上；第三日他要復活。」

yòu jiāo gěi wài bāng rén ， jiāng tā xì nòng ， biān dǎ ， dīng zài shí zì jià shàng ； dì sān rì tā yào fù huó 。」

and will hand him over to the Gentiles to mock, to scourge, and to crucify; and the third day he will be raised up.”

那時，西庇太兒子的母親同她兩個兒子上前來拜耶穌，求他一件事。

nà shí ， xī bì tài ér zi de mǔ qīn tóng tā liǎng gè ér zi shàng qián lái bài yē sū ， qiú tā yí jiàn shì 。

Then the mother of the sons of Zebedee came to him with her sons, kneeling and asking a certain thing of him.

耶穌說：「你要甚麼呢？」她說：「願你叫我這兩個兒子在你國裏，一個坐在你右邊，一個坐在你左邊。」

yē sū shuō ：「 nǐ yào shén me ne ？」 tā shuō ：「 yuàn nǐ jiào wǒ zhè liǎng gè ér zi zài nǐ guó lǐ ， yí gè zuò zài nǐ yòu biān ， yí gè zuò zài nǐ zuǒ biān 。」

He said to her, “What do you want?” She said to him, “Command that these, my two sons, may sit, one on your right hand and one on your left hand, in your Kingdom.”

耶穌回答說：「你們不知道所求的是甚麼；我將要喝的杯，你們能喝嗎？」他們說：「我們能。」

yē sū huí dá shuō ：「 nǐ men bù zhī dào suǒ qiú de shì shén me ； wǒ jiāng yào hē de bēi ， nǐ men néng hē ma ？」 tā men shuō ：「 wǒ men néng 。」

But Jesus answered, “You don’t know what you are asking. Are you able to drink the cup that I am about to drink, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?” They said to him, “We are able.”

耶穌說：「我所喝的杯，你們必要喝；只是坐在我的左右，不是我可以賜的，乃是我父為誰預備的，就賜給誰。」

yē sū shuō ：「 wǒ suǒ hē de bēi ， nǐ men bì yào hē ； zhǐ shì zuò zài wǒ de zuǒ yòu ， bú shì wǒ kě yǐ cì de ， nǎi shì wǒ fù wèi shuí yù bèi de ， jiù cì gěi shuí 。」

He said to them, “You will indeed drink my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with; but to sit on my right hand and on my left hand is not mine to give, but it is for whom it has been prepared by my Father.”

那十個門徒聽見，就惱怒他們弟兄二人。

nà shí gè mén tú tīng jiàn ， jiù nǎo nù tā men dì xiong èr rén 。

When the ten heard it, they were indignant with the two brothers.

耶穌叫了他們來，說：「你們知道外邦人有君王為主治理他們，有大臣操權管束他們。

yē sū jiào le tā men lái ， shuō ：「 nǐ men zhī dào wài bāng rén yǒu jūn wáng wéi zhǔ zhì lǐ tā men ， yǒu dà chén cāo quán guǎn shù tā men 。

But Jesus summoned them, and said, “You know that the rulers of the nations lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them.

只是在你們中間，不可這樣；你們中間誰願為大，就必作你們的用人；

zhǐ shì zài nǐ men zhōng jiān ， bù kě zhè yàng ； nǐ men zhōng jiān shuí yuàn wèi dà ， jiù bì zuò nǐ men de yòng rén ；

It shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant.

誰願為首，就必作你們的僕人。

shuí yuàn wéi shǒu ， jiù bì zuò nǐ men de pú rén 。

Whoever desires to be first among you shall be your bondservant,

正如人子來，不是要受人的服事，乃是要服事人，並且要捨命，作多人的贖價。」

zhèng rú rén zǐ lái ， bú shì yào shòu rén de fú shì ， nǎi shì yào fú shì rén ， bìng qiě yào shě mìng ， zuò duō rén de shú jià 。」

even as the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

他們出耶利哥的時候，有極多的人跟隨他。

tā men chū yē lì gē de shí hòu ， yǒu jí duō de rén gēn suí tā 。

As they went out from Jericho, a great multitude followed him.

有兩個瞎子坐在路旁，聽說是耶穌經過，就喊着說：「主啊，大衛的子孫，可憐我們吧！」

yǒu liǎng gè xiā zǐ zuò zài lù páng ， tīng shuō shì yē sū jīng guò ， jiù hǎn zhe shuō ：「 zhǔ a ， dà wèi de zǐ sūn ， kě lián wǒ men ba ！」

Behold, two blind men sitting by the road, when they heard that Jesus was passing by, cried out, “Lord, have mercy on us, you son of David!”

眾人責備他們，不許他們作聲；他們卻越發喊着說：「主啊，大衛的子孫，可憐我們吧！」

zhòng rén zé bèi tā men ， bù xǔ tā men zuò shēng ； tā men què yuè fā hǎn zhe shuō ：「 zhǔ a ， dà wèi de zǐ sūn ， kě lián wǒ men ba ！」

The multitude rebuked them, telling them that they should be quiet, but they cried out even more, “Lord, have mercy on us, you son of David!”

耶穌就站住，叫他們來，說：「要我為你們做甚麼？」

yē sū jiù zhàn zhù ， jiào tā men lái ， shuō ：「 yào wǒ wèi nǐ men zuò shén me ？」

Jesus stood still and called them, and asked, “What do you want me to do for you?”

他們說：「主啊，要我們的眼睛能看見！」

tā men shuō ：「 zhǔ a ， yào wǒ men de yǎn jīng néng kàn jiàn ！」

They told him, “Lord, that our eyes may be opened.”

耶穌就動了慈心，把他們的眼睛一摸，他們立刻看見，就跟從了耶穌。

yē sū jiù dòng le cí xīn ， bǎ tā men de yǎn jīng yì mō ， tā men lì kè kàn jiàn ， jiù gēn cóng le yē sū 。

Jesus, being moved with compassion, touched their eyes; and immediately their eyes received their sight, and they followed him.
