馬太福音 5

耶穌看見這許多的人，就上了山，既已坐下，門徒到他跟前來，

yē sū kàn jiàn zhè xǔ duō de rén ， jiù shàng le shān ， jì yǐ zuò xià ， mén tú dào tā gēn qián lái ，

Seeing the multitudes, he went up onto the mountain. When he had sat down, his disciples came to him.

他就開口教訓他們，說：

tā jiù kāi kǒu jiào xùn tā men ， shuō ：

He opened his mouth and taught them, saying,

虛心的人有福了！ 因為天國是他們的。

xū xīn de rén yǒu fú le ！ yīn wèi tiān guó shì tā men de 。

“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.

哀慟的人有福了！ 因為他們必得安慰。

āi tòng de rén yǒu fú le ！ yīn wèi tā men bì dé ān wèi 。

Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.

溫柔的人有福了！ 因為他們必承受地土。

wēn róu de rén yǒu fú le ！ yīn wèi tā men bì chéng shòu dì tǔ 。

Blessed are the gentle, for they shall inherit the earth.

飢渴慕義的人有福了！ 因為他們必得飽足。

jī kě mù yì de rén yǒu fú le ！ yīn wèi tā men bì dé bǎo zú 。

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.

憐恤人的人有福了！ 因為他們必蒙憐恤。

lián xù rén de rén yǒu fú le ！ yīn wèi tā men bì méng lián xù 。

Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.

清心的人有福了！ 因為他們必得見上帝。

qīng xīn de rén yǒu fú le ！ yīn wèi tā men bì dé jiàn shén 。

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.

使人和睦的人有福了！ 因為他們必稱為上帝的兒子。

shǐ rén hé mù de rén yǒu fú le ！ yīn wèi tā men bì chēng wéi shén de ér zi 。

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.

為義受逼迫的人有福了！ 因為天國是他們的。

wèi yì shòu bī pò de rén yǒu fú le ！ yīn wèi tiān guó shì tā men de 。

Blessed are those who have been persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.

「人若因我辱罵你們，逼迫你們，捏造各樣壞話毀謗你們，你們就有福了！

「 rén ruò yīn wǒ rǔ mà nǐ men ， bī pò nǐ men ， niē zào gè yàng huài huà huǐ bàng nǐ men ， nǐ men jiù yǒu fú le ！

“Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

應當歡喜快樂，因為你們在天上的賞賜是大的。在你們以前的先知，人也是這樣逼迫他們。」

yīng dāng huān xǐ kuài lè ， yīn wèi nǐ men zài tiān shàng de shǎng cì shì dà de 。 zài nǐ men yǐ qián de xiān zhī ， rén yě shì zhè yàng bī pò tā men 。」

Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

「你們是世上的鹽。鹽若失了味，怎能叫它再鹹呢？以後無用，不過丟在外面，被人踐踏了。

「 nǐ men shì shì shàng de yán 。 yán ruò shī le wèi ， zěn néng jiào tā zài xián ne ？ yǐ hòu wú yòng ， bú guò diū zài wài miàn ， bèi rén jiàn tà le 。

“You are the salt of the earth, but if the salt has lost its flavor, with what will it be salted? It is then good for nothing, but to be cast out and trodden under the feet of men.

你們是世上的光。城造在山上是不能隱藏的。

nǐ men shì shì shàng de guāng 。 chéng zào zài shān shàng shì bù néng yǐn cáng de 。

“You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill can’t be hidden.

人點燈，不放在斗底下，是放在燈臺上，就照亮一家的人。

rén diǎn dēng ， bú fàng zài dòu dǐ xià ， shì fàng zài dēng tái shàng ， jiù zhào liàng yì jiā de rén 。

Neither do you light a lamp and put it under a measuring basket, but on a stand; and it shines to all who are in the house.

你們的光也當這樣照在人前，叫他們看見你們的好行為，便將榮耀歸給你們在天上的父。」

nǐ men de guāng yě dāng zhè yàng zhào zài rén qián ， jiào tā men kàn jiàn nǐ men de hǎo xíng wéi ， biàn jiāng róng yào guī gěi nǐ men zài tiān shàng de fù 。」

Even so, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

「莫想我來要廢掉律法和先知。我來不是要廢掉，乃是要成全。

「 mò xiǎng wǒ lái yào fèi diào lǜ fǎ hé xiān zhī 。 wǒ lái bú shì yào fèi diào ， nǎi shì yào chéng quán 。

“Don’t think that I came to destroy the law or the prophets. I didn’t come to destroy, but to fulfill.

我實在告訴你們，就是到天地都廢去了，律法的一點一畫也不能廢去，都要成全。

wǒ shí zài gào sù nǐ men ， jiù shì dào tiān dì dōu fèi qù le ， lǜ fǎ de yì diǎn yí huà yě bù néng fèi qù ， dōu yào chéng quán 。

For most certainly, I tell you, until heaven and earth pass away, not even one smallest letter or one tiny pen stroke shall in any way pass away from the law, until all things are accomplished.

所以，無論何人廢掉這誡命中最小的一條，又教訓人這樣做，他在天國要稱為最小的。但無論何人遵行這誡命，又教訓人遵行，他在天國要稱為大的。

suǒ yǐ ， wú lùn hé rén fèi diào zhè jiè mìng zhòng zuì xiǎo de yì tiáo ， yòu jiào xùn rén zhè yàng zuò ， tā zài tiān guó yào chēng wéi zuì xiǎo de 。 dàn wú lùn hé rén zūn xíng zhè jiè mìng ， yòu jiào xùn rén zūn xíng ， tā zài tiān guó yào chēng wéi dà de 。

Therefore, whoever shall break one of these least commandments and teach others to do so, shall be called least in the Kingdom of Heaven; but whoever shall do and teach them shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.

我告訴你們，你們的義若不勝於文士和法利賽人的義，斷不能進天國。」

wǒ gào sù nǐ men ， nǐ men de yì ruò bú shèng yú wén shì hé fǎ lì sài rén de yì ， duàn bù néng jìn tiān guó 。」

For I tell you that unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, there is no way you will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.

「你們聽見有吩咐古人的話，說：『不可殺人』；又說：『凡殺人的難免受審判。』

「 nǐ men tīng jiàn yǒu fēn fù gǔ rén de huà ， shuō ：『 bù kě shā rén 』； yòu shuō ：『 fán shā rén de nán miǎn shòu shěn pàn 。』

“You have heard that it was said to the ancient ones, ‘You shall not murder;’ and ‘Whoever murders will be in danger of the judgment.’

只是我告訴你們，凡 向弟兄動怒的，難免受審判；凡罵弟兄是拉加的，難免公會的審判；凡罵弟兄是魔利的，難免地獄的火。

zhǐ shì wǒ gào sù nǐ men ， fán xiàng dì xiong dòng nù de ， nán miǎn shòu shěn duàn ； fán mà dì xiong shì lā jiā de ， nán miǎn gōng huì de shěn duàn ； fán mà dì xiong shì mó lì de ， nán miǎn dì yù de huǒ 。

But I tell you that everyone who is angry with his brother without a cause will be in danger of the judgment. Whoever says to his brother, ‘Raca!’ will be in danger of the council. Whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of Gehenna.

所以，你在祭壇上獻禮物的時候，若想起弟兄向你懷怨，

suǒ yǐ ， nǐ zài jì tán shàng xiàn lǐ wù de shí hòu ， ruò xiǎng qǐ dì xiong xiàng nǐ huái yuàn ，

“If therefore you are offering your gift at the altar, and there remember that your brother has anything against you,

就把禮物留在壇前，先去同弟兄和好，然後來獻禮物。

jiù bǎ lǐ wù liú zài tán qián ， xiān qù tóng dì xiong hé hǎo ， rán hòu lái xiàn lǐ wù 。

leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.

你同告你的對頭還在路上，就趕緊與他和息，恐怕他把你送給審判官，審判官交付衙役，你就下在監裏了。

nǐ tóng gào nǐ de duì tóu hái zài lù shang ， jiù gǎn jǐn yǔ tā hé xī ， kǒng pà tā bǎ nǐ sòng gěi shěn pàn guān ， shěn pàn guān jiāo fù yá yì ， nǐ jiù xià zài jiān lǐ le 。

Agree with your adversary quickly while you are with him on the way; lest perhaps the prosecutor deliver you to the judge, and the judge deliver you to the officer, and you be cast into prison.

我實在告訴你，若有一文錢沒有還清，你斷不能從那裏出來。」

wǒ shí zài gào sù nǐ ， ruò yǒu yì wén qián méi yǒu huán qīng ， nǐ duàn bù néng cóng nà lǐ chū lái 。」

Most certainly I tell you, you shall by no means get out of there until you have paid the last penny.

「你們聽見有話說：『不可姦淫。』

「 nǐ men tīng jiàn yǒu huà shuō ：『 bù kě jiān yín 。』

“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery;’

只是我告訴你們，凡看見婦女就動淫念的，這人心裏已經與她犯姦淫了。

zhǐ shì wǒ gào sù nǐ men ， fán kàn jiàn fù nǚ jiù dòng yín niàn de ， zhè rén xīn lǐ yǐ jīng yǔ tā fàn jiān yín le 。

but I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart.

若是你的右眼叫你跌倒，就剜出來丟掉，寧可失去百體中的一體，不叫全身丟在地獄裏。

ruò shì nǐ de yòu yǎn jiào nǐ diē dǎo ， jiù wān chū lái diū diào ， nìng kě shī qù bǎi tǐ zhōng de yì tǐ ， bú jiào quán shēn diū zài dì yù lǐ 。

If your right eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it away from you. For it is more profitable for you that one of your members should perish than for your whole body to be cast into Gehenna.

若是右手叫你跌倒，就砍下來丟掉，寧可失去百體中的一體，不叫全身下入地獄。」

ruò shì yòu shǒu jiào nǐ diē dǎo ， jiù kǎn xià lái diū diào ， nìng kě shī qù bǎi tǐ zhōng de yì tǐ ， bú jiào quán shēn xià rù dì yù 。」

If your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off, and throw it away from you. For it is more profitable for you that one of your members should perish, than for your whole body to be cast into Gehenna.

「又有話說：『人若休妻，就當給她休書。』

「 yòu yǒu huà shuō ：『 rén ruò xiū qī ， jiù dāng gěi tā xiū shū 。』

“It was also said, ‘Whoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorce,’

只是我告訴你們，凡休妻的，若不是為淫亂的緣故，就是叫她作淫婦了；人若娶這被休的婦人，也是犯姦淫了。」

zhǐ shì wǒ gào sù nǐ men ， fán xiū qī de ， ruò bú shì wèi yín luàn de yuán gù ， jiù shì jiào tā zuò yín fù le ； rén ruò qǔ zhè bèi xiū de fù rén ， yě shì fàn jiān yín le 。」

but I tell you that whoever puts away his wife, except for the cause of sexual immorality, makes her an adulteress; and whoever marries her when she is put away commits adultery.

「你們又聽見有吩咐古人的話，說：『不可背誓，所起的誓總要向主謹守。』

「 nǐ men yòu tīng jiàn yǒu fēn fù gǔ rén de huà ， shuō ：『 bù kě bèi shì ， suǒ qǐ de shì zǒng yào xiàng zhǔ jǐn shǒu 。』

“Again you have heard that it was said to the ancient ones, ‘You shall not make false vows, but shall perform to the Lord your vows,’

只是我告訴你們，甚麼誓都不可起。不可指着天起誓，因為天是上帝的座位；

zhǐ shì wǒ gào sù nǐ men ， shén me shì dōu bù kě qǐ 。 bù kě zhǐ zhe tiān qǐ shì ， yīn wèi tiān shì shén de zuò wèi ；

but I tell you, don’t swear at all: neither by heaven, for it is the throne of God;

不可指着地起誓，因為地是他的腳凳；也不可指着耶路撒冷起誓，因為耶路撒冷是大君的京城；

bù kě zhǐ zhe dì qǐ shì ， yīn wèi dì shì tā de jiǎo dèng ； yě bù kě zhǐ zhe yē lù sā lěng qǐ shì ， yīn wèi yē lù sā lěng shì dà jūn de jīng chéng ；

nor by the earth, for it is the footstool of his feet; nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King.

又不可指着你的頭起誓，因為你不能使一根頭髮變黑變白了。

yòu bù kě zhǐ zhe nǐ de tóu qǐ shì ， yīn wèi nǐ bù néng shǐ yì gēn tóu fa biàn hēi biàn bái le 。

Neither shall you swear by your head, for you can’t make one hair white or black.

你們的話，是，就說是；不是，就說不是；若再多說就是出於那惡者 。」

nǐ men de huà ， shì ， jiù shuō shì ； bú shì ， jiù shuō bú shì ； ruò zài duō shuō jiù shì chū yú nà è zhě 。」

But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes’ and your ‘No’ be ‘No.’ Whatever is more than these is of the evil one.

「你們聽見有話說：『以眼還眼，以牙還牙。』

「 nǐ men tīng jiàn yǒu huà shuō ：『 yǐ yǎn huán yǎn ， yǐ yá huán yá 。』

“You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth.’

只是我告訴你們，不要與惡人作對。有人打你的右臉，連左臉也轉過來由他打；

zhǐ shì wǒ gào sù nǐ men ， bú yào yǔ è rén zuò duì 。 yǒu rén dǎ nǐ de yòu liǎn ， lián zuǒ liǎn yě zhuǎn guò lái yóu tā dǎ ；

But I tell you, don’t resist him who is evil; but whoever strikes you on your right cheek, turn to him the other also.

有人想要告你，要拿你的裏衣，連外衣也由他拿去；

yǒu rén xiǎng yào gào nǐ ， yào ná nǐ de lǐ yī ， lián wài yī yě yóu tā ná qù ；

If anyone sues you to take away your coat, let him have your cloak also.

有人強逼你走一里路，你就同他走二里；

yǒu rén qiáng bī nǐ zǒu yì lǐ lù ， nǐ jiù tóng tā zǒu èr lǐ ；

Whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two.

有求你的，就給他；有向你借貸的，不可推辭。」

yǒu qiú nǐ de ， jiù gěi tā ； yǒu xiàng nǐ jiè dài de ， bù kě tuī cí 。」

Give to him who asks you, and don’t turn away him who desires to borrow from you.

「你們聽見有話說：『當愛你的鄰舍，恨你的仇敵。』

「 nǐ men tīng jiàn yǒu huà shuō ：『 dāng ài nǐ de lín shè ， hèn nǐ de chóu dí 。』

“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’

只是我告訴你們，要愛你們的仇敵，為那逼迫你們的禱告。

zhī shì wǒ gào sù nǐ men ， yào ài nǐ men de chóu dí ， wèi nà bī pò nǐ men de dǎo gào 。

But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,

這樣就可以作你們天父的兒子；因為他叫日頭照好人，也照歹人；降雨給義人，也給不義的人。

zhè yàng jiù kě yǐ zuò nǐ men tiān fù de ér zi ； yīn wèi tā jiào rì tou zhào hǎo rén ， yě zhào dǎi rén ； jiàng yǔ gěi yì rén ， yě gěi bú yì de rén 。

that you may be children of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and the unjust.

你們若單愛那愛你們的人，有甚麼賞賜呢？就是稅吏不也是這樣行嗎？

nǐ men ruò dān ài nà ài nǐ men de rén ， yǒu shén me shǎng cì ne ？ jiù shì shuì lì bù yě shì zhè yàng xíng ma ？

For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Don’t even the tax collectors do the same?

你們若單請你弟兄的安，比人有甚麼長處呢？就是外邦人不也是這樣行嗎？

nǐ men ruò dān qǐng nǐ dì xiong de ān ， bǐ rén yǒu shén me cháng chù ne ？ jiù shì wài bāng rén bù yě shì zhè yàng xíng ma ？

If you only greet your friends, what more do you do than others? Don’t even the tax collectors do the same?

所以，你們要完全，像你們的天父完全一樣。」

suǒ yǐ ， nǐ men yào wán quán ， xiàng nǐ men de tiān fù wán quán yí yàng 。」

Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.
