耶和華吩咐摩西說：

yē hé huá fēn fù mó xī shuō ：

The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

「你要在米甸人身上報以色列人的仇，後來要歸到你列祖 那裏。」

「 nǐ yào zài mǐ diàn rén shēn shàng bào yǐ sè liè rén de chóu ， hòu lái yào guī dào nǐ liè zǔ nà lǐ 。」

“Avenge the children of Israel on the Midianites. Afterward you shall be gathered to your people.”

摩西吩咐百姓說：「要從你們中間叫人帶兵器出去攻擊米甸，好在米甸人身上為耶和華報仇。

mó xī fēn fù bǎi xìng shuō ：「 yào cóng nǐ men zhōng jiān jiào rén dài bīng qì chū qù gōng jī mǐ diàn ， hǎo zài mǐ diàn rén shēn shàng wèi yē hé huá bào chóu 。

Moses spoke to the people, saying, “Arm men from among you for war, that they may go against Midian, to execute the LORD’s vengeance on Midian.

從以色列眾支派中，每支派要打發一千人去打仗。」

cóng yǐ sè liè zhòng zhī pài zhōng ， měi zhī pài yào dǎ fā yì qiān rén qù dǎ zhàng 。」

You shall send one thousand out of every tribe, throughout all the tribes of Israel, to the war.”

於是從以色列千萬人中，每支派交出一千人，共一萬二千人，帶着兵器預備打仗。

yú shì cóng yǐ sè liè qiān wàn rén zhōng ， měi zhī pài jiāo chū yì qiān rén ， gòng yí wàn èr qiān rén ， dài zhe bīng qì yù bèi dǎ zhàng 。

So there were delivered, out of the thousands of Israel, a thousand from every tribe, twelve thousand armed for war.

摩西就打發每支派的一千人去打仗，並打發祭司以利亞撒的兒子非尼哈同去；非尼哈手裏拿着聖所的器皿和吹大聲的號筒。

mó xī jiù dǎ fā měi zhī pài de yì qiān rén qù dǎ zhàng ， bìng dǎ fā jì sī yǐ lì yà sā de ér zi fēi ní hā tóng qù ； fēi ní hā shǒu lǐ ná zhe shèng suǒ de qì mǐn hé chuī dà shēng de hào tǒng 。

Moses sent them, one thousand of every tribe, to the war with Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest, to the war, with the vessels of the sanctuary and the trumpets for the alarm in his hand.

他們就照耶和華所吩咐摩西的，與米甸人打仗，殺了所有的男丁。

tā men jiù zhào yē hé huá suǒ fēn fù mó xī de ， yǔ mǐ diàn rén dǎ zhàng ， shā le suǒ yǒu de nán dīng 。

They fought against Midian, as the LORD commanded Moses. They killed every male.

在所殺的人中，殺了米甸的五王，就是以未、利金、蘇珥、戶珥、利巴，又用刀殺了比珥的兒子巴蘭。

zài suǒ shā de rén zhōng ， shā le mǐ diàn de wǔ wáng ， jiù shì yǐ wèi 、 lì jīn 、 sū ěr 、 hù ěr 、 lì bā ， yòu yòng dāo shā le bǐ ěr de ér zi bā lán 。

They killed the kings of Midian with the rest of their slain: Evi, Rekem, Zur, Hur, and Reba, the five kings of Midian. They also killed Balaam the son of Beor with the sword.

以色列人擄了米甸人的婦女孩子，並將他們的牲畜、羊群，和所有的財物都奪了來，當作擄物，

yǐ sè liè rén lǔ le mǐ diàn rén de fù nǚ hái zi ， bìng jiāng tā men de shēng chù 、 yáng qún ， hé suǒ yǒu de cái wù dōu duó le lái ， dàng zuò lǔ wù ，

The children of Israel took the women of Midian captive with their little ones; and all their livestock, all their flocks, and all their goods, they took as plunder.

又用火焚燒他們所住的城邑和所有的營寨，

yòu yòng huǒ fén shāo tā men suǒ zhù de chéng yì hé suǒ yǒu de yíng zhài ，

All their cities in the places in which they lived, and all their encampments, they burned with fire.

把一切所奪的、所擄的，連人帶牲畜都帶了去，

bǎ yí qiè suǒ duó de 、 suǒ lǔ de ， lián rén dài shēng chù dōu dài le qù ，

They took all the captives, and all the plunder, both of man and of animal.

將所擄的人，所奪的牲畜、財物，都帶到摩押平原，在約旦河邊與耶利哥相對的營盤，交給摩西和祭司以利亞撒，並以色列的會眾。

jiāng suǒ lǔ de rén ， suǒ duó de shēng chù 、 cái wù ， dōu dài dào mó yā píng yuán ， zài yuē dàn hé biān yǔ yē lì gē xiāng duì de yíng pán ， jiāo gěi mó xī hé jì sī yǐ lì yà sā ， bìng yǐ sè liè de huì zhòng 。

They brought the captives with the prey and the plunder, to Moses, and to Eleazar the priest, and to the congregation of the children of Israel, to the camp at the plains of Moab, which are by the Jordan at Jericho.

摩西和祭司以利亞撒，並會眾一切的首領，都出到營外迎接他們。

mó xī hé jì sī yǐ lì yà sā ， bìng huì zhòng yí qiè de shǒu lǐng ， dōu chū dào yíng wài yíng jiē tā men 。

Moses and Eleazar the priest, with all the princes of the congregation, went out to meet them outside of the camp.

摩西向打仗回來的軍長，就是千夫長、百夫長，發怒，

mó xī xiàng dǎ zhàng huí lái de jūn zhǎng ， jiù shì qiān fū cháng 、 bǎi fū zhǎng ， fā nù ，

Moses was angry with the officers of the army, the captains of thousands and the captains of hundreds, who came from the service of the war.

對他們說：「你們要存留這一切婦女的活命嗎？

duì tā men shuō ：「 nǐ men yào cún liú zhè yí qiè fù nǚ de huó mìng ma ？

Moses said to them, “Have you saved all the women alive?

這些婦女因巴蘭的計謀，叫以色列人在毗珥的事上得罪耶和華，以致耶和華的會眾遭遇瘟疫。

zhè xiē fù nǚ yīn bā lán de jì móu ， jiào yǐ sè liè rén zài pí ěr de shì shàng dé zuì yē hé huá ， yǐ zhì yē hé huá de huì zhòng zāo yù wēn yì 。

Behold, these caused the children of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to commit trespass against the LORD in the matter of Peor, and so the plague was among the congregation of the LORD.

所以，你們要把一切的男孩和所有已嫁的女子都殺了。

suǒ yǐ ， nǐ men yào bǎ yí qiè de nán hái hé suǒ yǒu yǐ jià de nǚ zǐ dōu shā le 。

Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman who has known man by lying with him.

但女孩子中，凡沒有出嫁的，你們都可以存留她的活命。

dàn nǚ hái zi zhōng ， fán méi yǒu chū jià de ， nǐ men dōu kě yǐ cún liú tā de huó mìng 。

But all the girls, who have not known man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves.

你們要在營外駐紮七日；凡殺了人的，和一切摸了被殺的，並你們所擄來的人口，第三日，第七日，都要潔淨自己，

nǐ men yào zài yíng wài zhù zhā qī rì ； fán shā le rén de ， hé yí qiè mō le bèi shā de ， bìng nǐ men suǒ lǔ lái de rén kǒu ， dì sān rì ， dì qī rì ， dōu yào jié jìng zì jǐ ，

“Encamp outside of the camp for seven days. Whoever has killed any person, and whoever has touched any slain, purify yourselves on the third day and on the seventh day, you and your captives.

也要因一切的衣服、皮物、山羊毛織的物，和各樣的木器，潔淨自己。」

yě yào yīn yí qiè de yī fú 、 pí wù 、 shān yáng máo zhī de wù ， hé gè yàng de mù qì ， jié jìng zì jǐ 。」

You shall purify every garment, and all that is made of skin, and all work of goats’ hair, and all things made of wood.”

祭司以利亞撒對打仗回來的兵丁說：「耶和華所吩咐摩西律法中的條例乃是這樣：

jì sī yǐ lì yà sā duì dǎ zhàng huí lái de bīng dīng shuō ：「 yē hé huá suǒ fēn fù mó xī lǜ fǎ zhōng de tiáo lì nǎi shì zhè yàng ：

Eleazar the priest said to the men of war who went to the battle, “This is the statute of the law which the LORD has commanded Moses.

金、銀、銅、鐵、錫、鉛，

jīn 、 yín 、 tóng 、 tiě 、 xī 、 qiān ，

However the gold, and the silver, the bronze, the iron, the tin, and the lead,

凡能見火的，你們要叫它經火就為潔淨，然而還要用除污穢的水潔淨它；凡不能見火的，你們要叫它過水。

fán néng jiàn huǒ de ， nǐ men yào jiào tā jīng huǒ jiù wèi jié jìng ， rán ér hái yào yòng chú wū huì de shuǐ jié jìng tā ； fán bù néng jiàn huǒ de ， nǐ men yào jiào tā guò shuǐ 。

everything that may withstand the fire, you shall make to go through the fire, and it shall be clean; nevertheless it shall be purified with the water for impurity. All that doesn’t withstand the fire you shall make to go through the water.

第七日，你們要洗衣服，就為潔淨，然後可以進營。」

dì qī rì ， nǐ men yào xǐ yī fu ， jiù wèi jié jìng ， rán hòu kě yǐ jìn yíng 。」

You shall wash your clothes on the seventh day, and you shall be clean. Afterward you shall come into the camp.”

耶和華曉諭摩西說：

yē hé huá xiǎo yù mó xī shuō ：

The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

「你和祭司以利亞撒，並會眾的各族長，要計算所擄來的人口和牲畜的總數。

「 nǐ hé jì sī yǐ lì yà sā ， bìng huì zhòng de gè zú zhǎng ， yào jì suàn suǒ lǔ lái de rén kǒu hé shēng chù de zǒng shù 。

“Count the plunder that was taken, both of man and of animal, you, and Eleazar the priest, and the heads of the fathers’ households of the congregation;

把所擄來的分作兩半：一半歸與出去打仗的精兵，一半歸與全會眾。

bǎ suǒ lǔ lái de fēn zuò liǎng bàn ： yí bàn guī yǔ chū qù dǎ zhàng de jīng bīng ， yí bàn guī yǔ quán huì zhòng 。

and divide the plunder into two parts: between the men skilled in war, who went out to battle, and all the congregation.

又要從出去打仗所得的人口、牛、驢、羊群中，每五百取一，作為貢物奉給耶和華。

yòu yào cóng chū qù dǎ zhàng suǒ dé de rén kǒu 、 niú 、 lǘ 、 yáng qún zhōng ， měi wǔ bǎi qǔ yī ， zuò wéi gòng wù fèng gěi yē hé huá 。

Levy a tribute to the LORD of the men of war who went out to battle: one soul of five hundred; of the persons, of the cattle, of the donkeys, and of the flocks.

從他們一半之中，要取出來交給祭司以利亞撒，作為耶和華的舉祭。

cóng tā men yí bàn zhī zhōng ， yào qǔ chū lái jiāo gěi jì sī yǐ lì yà sā ， zuò wéi yē hé huá de jǔ jì 。

Take it from their half, and give it to Eleazar the priest, for the LORD’s wave offering.

從以色列人的一半之中，就是從人口、牛、驢、羊群、各樣牲畜中，每五十取一，交給看守耶和華帳幕的利未人。」

cóng yǐ sè liè rén de yí bàn zhī zhōng ， jiù shì cóng rén kǒu 、 niú 、 lǘ 、 yáng qún 、 gè yàng shēng chù zhōng ， měi wǔ shí qǔ yī ， jiāo gěi kān shǒu yē hé huá zhàng mù de lì wèi rén 。」

Of the children of Israel’s half, you shall take one drawn out of every fifty, of the persons, of the cattle, of the donkeys, and of the flocks, of all the livestock, and give them to the Levites, who perform the duty of the LORD’s tabernacle.”

於是摩西和祭司以利亞撒照耶和華所吩咐摩西的行了。

yú shì mó xī hé jì sī yǐ lì yà sā zhào yē hé huá suǒ fēn fù mó xī de xíng le 。

Moses and Eleazar the priest did as the LORD commanded Moses.

除了兵丁所奪的財物以外，所擄來的：羊六十七萬五千隻；

chú le bīng dīng suǒ duó de cái wù yǐ wài ， suǒ lǔ lái de ： yáng liù shí qī wàn wǔ qiān zhī ；

Now the plunder, over and above the booty which the men of war took, was six hundred seventy-five thousand sheep,

牛七萬二千隻；

niú qī wàn èr qiān zhī ；

seventy-two thousand head of cattle,

驢六萬一千匹；

lǘ liù wàn yī qiān pǐ ；

sixty-one thousand donkeys,

女人共三萬二千口，都是沒有出嫁的。

nǚ rén gòng sān wàn èr qiān kǒu ， dōu shì méi yǒu chū jià de 。

and thirty-two thousand persons in all, of the women who had not known man by lying with him.

出去打仗之人的分，就是他們所得的那一半，共計羊三十三萬七千五百隻，

chū qù dǎ zhàng zhī rén de fēn ， jiù shì tā men suǒ dé de nà yí bàn ， gòng jì yáng sān shí sān wàn qī qiān wǔ bǎi zhī ，

The half, which was the portion of those who went out to war, was in number three hundred thirty-seven thousand five hundred sheep;

從其中歸耶和華為貢物的，有六百七十五隻；

cóng qí zhōng guī yē hé huá wèi gòng wù de ， yǒu liù bǎi qī shí wǔ zhī ；

and the LORD’s tribute of the sheep was six hundred seventy-five.

牛三萬六千隻，從其中歸耶和華為貢物的，有七十二隻；

niú sān wàn liù qiān zhī ， cóng qí zhōng guī yē hé huá wèi gòng wù de ， yǒu qī shí èr zhī ；

The cattle were thirty-six thousand, of which the LORD’s tribute was seventy-two.

驢三萬零五百匹，從其中歸耶和華為貢物的，有六十一匹；

lǘ sān wàn líng wǔ bǎi pǐ ， cóng qí zhōng guī yē hé huá wèi gòng wù de ， yǒu liù shí yī pǐ ；

The donkeys were thirty thousand five hundred, of which the LORD’s tribute was sixty-one.

人一萬六千口，從其中歸耶和華的，有三十二口。

rén yí wàn liù qiān kǒu ， cóng qí zhōng guī yē hé huá de ， yǒu sān shí èr kǒu 。

The persons were sixteen thousand, of whom the LORD’s tribute was thirty-two persons.

摩西把貢物，就是歸與耶和華的舉祭，交給祭司以利亞撒，是照耶和華所吩咐摩西的。

mó xī bǎ gòng wù ， jiù shì guī yǔ yē hé huá de jǔ jì ， jiāo gěi jì sī yǐ lì yà sā ， shì zhào yē hé huá suǒ fēn fù mó xī de 。

Moses gave the tribute, which was the LORD’s wave offering, to Eleazar the priest, as the LORD commanded Moses.

以色列人所得的那一半，就是摩西從打仗的人取來分給他們的。（

yǐ sè liè rén suǒ dé de nà yí bàn ， jiù shì mó xī cóng dǎ zhàng de rén qǔ lái fēn gěi tā men de 。（

Of the children of Israel’s half, which Moses divided off from the men who fought

會眾的那一半有：羊三十三萬七千五百隻；

huì zhòng de nà yí bàn yǒu ： yáng sān shí sān wàn qī qiān wǔ bǎi zhī ；

(now the congregation’s half was three hundred thirty-seven thousand five hundred sheep,

牛三萬六千隻；

niú sān wàn liù qiān zhī ；

thirty-six thousand head of cattle,

驢三萬零五百匹；

lǘ sān wàn líng wǔ bǎi pǐ ；

thirty thousand five hundred donkeys,

人一萬六千口。）

rén yí wàn liù qiān kǒu 。）

and sixteen thousand persons),

無論是人口是牲畜，摩西每五十取一，交給看守耶和華帳幕的利未人，是照耶和華所吩咐摩西的。

wú lùn shì rén kǒu shì shēng chù ， mó xī měi wǔ shí qǔ yī ， jiāo gěi kān shǒu yē hé huá zhàng mù de lì wèi rén ， shì zhào yē hé huá suǒ fēn fù mó xī de 。

even of the children of Israel’s half, Moses took one drawn out of every fifty, both of man and of animal, and gave them to the Levites, who performed the duty of the LORD’s tabernacle, as the LORD commanded Moses.

帶領千軍的各軍長，就是千夫長、百夫長，都近前來見摩西，

dài lǐng qiān jūn de gè jūn zhǎng ， jiù shì qiān fū cháng 、 bǎi fū zhǎng ， dōu jìn qián lái jiàn mó xī ，

The officers who were over the thousands of the army, the captains of thousands, and the captains of hundreds, came near to Moses.

對他說：「僕人權下的兵已經計算總數，並不短少一人。

duì tā shuō ：「 pú rén quán xià de bīng yǐ jīng jì suàn zǒng shù ， bìng bù duǎn shǎo yì rén 。

They said to Moses, “Your servants have taken the sum of the men of war who are under our command, and there lacks not one man of us.

如今我們將各人所得的金器，就是腳鍊子、鐲子、打印的戒指、耳環、手釧，都送來為耶和華的供物，好在耶和華面前為我們的生命贖罪。」

rú jīn wǒ men jiāng gè rén suǒ dé de jīn qì ， jiù shì jiǎo liàn zǐ 、 zhuó zǐ 、 dǎ yìn de jiè zhǐ 、 ěr huán 、 shǒu chuàn ， dōu sòng lái wèi yē hé huá de gòng wù ， hǎo zài yē hé huá miàn qián wèi wǒ men de shēng mìng shú zuì 。」

We have brought the LORD’s offering, what every man found: gold ornaments, armlets, bracelets, signet rings, earrings, and necklaces, to make atonement for our souls before the LORD.”

摩西和祭司以利亞撒就收了他們的金子，都是打成的器皿。

mó xī hé jì sī yǐ lì yà sā jiù shōu le tā men de jīn zǐ ， dōu shì dǎ chéng de qì mǐn 。

Moses and Eleazar the priest took their gold, even all worked jewels.

千夫長、百夫長所獻給耶和華為舉祭的金子共有一萬六千七百五十舍客勒。

qiān fū cháng 、 bǎi fū zhǎng suǒ xiàn gěi yē hé huá wèi jǔ jì de jīn zǐ gòng yǒu yí wàn liù qiān qī bǎi wǔ shí shè kè lè 。

All the gold of the wave offering that they offered up to the LORD, of the captains of thousands, and of the captains of hundreds, was sixteen thousand seven hundred fifty shekels.

各兵丁都為自己奪了財物。

gè bīng dīng dōu wèi zì jǐ duó le cái wù 。

The men of war had taken booty, every man for himself.

摩西和祭司以利亞撒收了千夫長、百夫長的金子，就帶進會幕，在耶和華面前作為以色列人的紀念。

mó xī hé jì sī yǐ lì yà sā shōu le qiān fū cháng 、 bǎi fū zhǎng de jīn zǐ ， jiù dài jìn huì mù ， zài yē hé huá miàn qián zuò wéi yǐ sè liè rén de jì niàn 。

Moses and Eleazar the priest took the gold of the captains of thousands and of hundreds, and brought it into the Tent of Meeting for a memorial for the children of Israel before the LORD.
