腓立比書 1

基督耶穌的僕人保羅和提摩太寫信給凡住腓立比、在基督耶穌裏的眾聖徒，和諸位監督，諸位執事。

jī dū yē sū de pú rén bǎo luó hé tí mó tài xiě xìn gěi fán zhù féi lì bǐ 、 zài jī dū yē sū lǐ de zhòng shèng tú ， hé zhū wèi jiān dū ， zhū wèi zhí shì 。

Paul and Timothy, servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus who are at Philippi, with the overseers and servants:

願恩惠、平安從上帝我們的父並主耶穌基督歸與你們！

yuàn ēn huì 、 píng ān cóng shén wǒ men de fù bìng zhǔ yē sū jī dū guī yǔ nǐ men ！

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

我每逢想念你們，就感謝我的上帝；

wǒ měi féng xiǎng niàn nǐ men ， jiù gǎn xiè wǒ de shén ；

I thank my God whenever I remember you,

每逢為你們眾人祈求的時候，常是歡歡喜喜地祈求。

měi féng wèi nǐ men zhòng rén qí qiú de shí hòu ， cháng shì huān huān xǐ xǐ dì qí qiú 。

always in every request of mine on behalf of you all, making my requests with joy,

因為從頭一天直到如今，你們是同心合意地興旺福音。

yīn wèi cóng tóu yì tiān zhí dào rú jīn ， nǐ men shì tóng xīn hé yì dì xīng wàng fú yīn 。

for your partnership in furtherance of the Good News from the first day until now;

我深信那在你們心裏動了善工的，必成全這工，直到耶穌基督的日子。

wǒ shēn xìn nà zài nǐ men xīn lǐ dòng le shàn gōng de ， bì chéng quán zhè gōng ， zhí dào yē sū jī dū de rì zi 。

being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.

我為你們眾人有這樣的意念，原是應當的；因你們常在我心裏，無論我是在捆鎖之中，是辯明證實福音的時候，你們都與我一同得恩。

wǒ wèi nǐ men zhòng rén yǒu zhè yàng de yì niàn ， yuán shì yīng dāng de ； yīn nǐ men cháng zài wǒ xīn lǐ ， wú lùn wǒ shì zài kǔn suǒ zhī zhōng ， shì biàn míng zhèng shí fú yīn de shí hòu ， nǐ men dōu yǔ wǒ yì tóng dé ēn 。

It is even right for me to think this way on behalf of all of you, because I have you in my heart, because both in my bonds and in the defense and confirmation of the Good News, you all are partakers with me of grace.

我體會基督耶穌的心腸，切切地想念你們眾人；這是上帝可以給我作見證的。

wǒ tǐ huì jī dū yē sū de xīn cháng ， qiè qiè dì xiǎng niàn nǐ men zhòng rén ； zhè shì shén kě yǐ gěi wǒ zuò jiàn zhèng de 。

For God is my witness, how I long after all of you in the tender mercies of Christ Jesus.

我所禱告的，就是要你們的愛心在知識和各樣見識上多而又多，

wǒ suǒ dǎo gào de ， jiù shì yào nǐ men de ài xīn zài zhī shi hé gè yàng jiàn shi shàng duō ér yòu duō ，

This I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all discernment,

使你們能分別是非 ，作誠實無過的人，直到基督的日子；

shǐ nǐ men néng fēn bié shì fēi ， zuò chéng shí wú guò de rén ， zhí dào jī dū de rì zi ；

so that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense to the day of Christ,

並靠着耶穌基督結滿了仁義的果子，叫榮耀稱讚歸與上帝。

bìng kào zhe yē sū jī dū jié mǎn le rén yì de guǒ zǐ ， jiào róng yào chēng zàn guī yǔ shén 。

being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

弟兄們，我願意你們知道，我所遭遇的事更是叫福音興旺，

dì xiōng men ， wǒ yuàn yì nǐ men zhī dào ， wǒ suǒ zāo yù de shì gèng shì jiào fú yīn xīng wàng ，

Now I desire to have you know, brothers, that the things which happened to me have turned out rather to the progress of the Good News,

以致我受的捆鎖在御營全軍和其餘的人中，已經顯明是為基督的緣故。

yǐ zhì wǒ shòu de kǔn suǒ zài yù yíng quán jūn hé qí yú de rén zhōng ， yǐ jīng xiǎn míng shì wèi jī dū de yuán gù 。

so that it became evident to the whole palace guard, and to all the rest, that my bonds are in Christ,

並且那在主裏的弟兄多半因我受的捆鎖就篤信不疑，越發放膽傳上帝的道，無所懼怕。

bìng qiě nà zài zhǔ lǐ de dì xiong duō bàn yīn wǒ shòu de kǔn suǒ jiù dǔ xìn bù yí ， yuè fā fàng dǎn chuán shén de dào ， wú suǒ jù pà 。

and that most of the brothers in the Lord, being confident through my bonds, are more abundantly bold to speak the word of God without fear.

有的傳基督是出於嫉妒紛爭，也有的是出於好意。

yǒu de chuán jī dū shì chū yú jí dù fēn zhēng ， yě yǒu de shì chū yú hǎo yì 。

Some indeed preach Christ even out of envy and strife, and some also out of good will.

這一等是出於愛心，知道我是為辯明福音設立的；

zhè yī děng shì chū yú ài xīn ， zhī dào wǒ shì wèi biàn míng fú yīn shè lì de ；

The former insincerely preach Christ from selfish ambition, thinking that they add affliction to my chains;

那一等傳基督是出於結黨，並不誠實，意思要加增我捆鎖的苦楚。

nà yī děng chuán jī dū shì chū yú jié dǎng ， bìng bù chéng shí ， yì sī yào jiā zēng wǒ kǔn suǒ de kǔ chǔ 。

but the latter out of love, knowing that I am appointed for the defense of the Good News.

這有何妨呢？或是假意，或是真心，無論怎樣，基督究竟被傳開了。為此，我就歡喜，並且還要歡喜；

zhè yǒu hé fáng ne ？ huò shì jiǎ yì ， huò shì zhēn xīn ， wú lùn zěn yàng ， jī dū jiū jìng bèi chuán kāi le 。 wèi cǐ ， wǒ jiù huān xǐ ， bìng qiě hái yào huān xǐ ；

What does it matter? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is proclaimed. I rejoice in this, yes, and will rejoice.

因為我知道，這事藉着你們的祈禱和耶穌基督之靈的幫助，終必叫我得救。

yīn wèi wǒ zhī dào ， zhè shì jiè zhe nǐ men de qí dǎo hé yē sū jī dū zhī líng de bāng zhù ， zhōng bì jiào wǒ dé jiù 。

For I know that this will turn out to my salvation through your prayers and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,

照着我所切慕、所盼望的，沒有一事叫我羞愧。只要凡事放膽，無論是生是死，總叫基督在我身上照常顯大。

zhào zhe wǒ suǒ qiè mù 、 suǒ pàn wàng de ， méi yǒu yí shì jiào wǒ xiū kuì 。 zhǐ yào fán shì fàng dǎn ， wú lùn shì shēng shì sǐ ， zǒng jiào jī dū zài wǒ shēn shàng zhào cháng xiǎn dà 。

according to my earnest expectation and hope, that I will in no way be disappointed, but with all boldness, as always, now also Christ will be magnified in my body, whether by life or by death.

因我活着就是基督，我死了就有益處。

yīn wǒ huó zhe jiù shì jī dū ， wǒ sǐ le jiù yǒu yì chù 。

For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

但我在肉身活着，若成就我工夫的果子，我就不知道該挑選甚麼。

dàn wǒ zài ròu shēn huó zhe ， ruò chéng jiù wǒ gōng fū de guǒ zǐ ， wǒ jiù bù zhī dào gāi tiāo xuǎn shén me 。

But if I live on in the flesh, this will bring fruit from my work; yet I don’t know what I will choose.

我正在兩難之間，情願離世與基督同在，因為這是好得無比的。

wǒ zhèng zài liǎng nán zhī jiān ， qíng yuàn lí shì yǔ jī dū tóng zài ， yīn wèi zhè shì hǎo dé wú bǐ de 。

But I am hard pressed between the two, having the desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better.

然而，我在肉身活着，為你們更是要緊的。

rán ér ， wǒ zài ròu shēn huó zhe ， wèi nǐ men gèng shì yào jǐn de 。

Yet to remain in the flesh is more needful for your sake.

我既然這樣深信，就知道仍要住在世間，且與你們眾人同住，使你們在所信的道上又長進又喜樂，

wǒ jì rán zhè yàng shēn xìn ， jiù zhī dào réng yào zhù zài shì jiān ， qiě yǔ nǐ men zhòng rén tóng zhù ， shǐ nǐ men zài suǒ xìn de dào shàng yòu zhǎng jìn yòu xǐ lè ，

Having this confidence, I know that I will remain, yes, and remain with you all for your progress and joy in the faith,

叫你們在基督耶穌裏的歡樂，因我再到你們那裏去，就越發加增。

jiào nǐ men zài jī dū yē sū lǐ de huān lè ， yīn wǒ zài dào nǐ men nà lǐ qù ， jiù yuè fā jiā zēng 。

that your boasting may abound in Christ Jesus in me through my presence with you again.

只要你們行事為人與基督的福音相稱，叫我或來見你們，或不在你們那裏，可以聽見你們的景況，知道你們同有一個心志，站立得穩，為所信的福音齊心努力。

zhǐ yào nǐ men xíng shì wèi rén yǔ jī dū de fú yīn xiāng chèn ， jiào wǒ huò lái jiàn nǐ men ， huò bú zài nǐ men nà lǐ ， kě yǐ tīng jiàn nǐ men de jǐng kuàng ， zhī dào nǐ men tóng yǒu yí gè xīn zhì ， zhàn lì dé wěn ， wèi suǒ xìn de fú yīn qí xīn nǔ lì 。

Only let your way of life be worthy of the Good News of Christ, that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of your state, that you stand firm in one spirit, with one soul striving for the faith of the Good News;

凡事不怕敵人的驚嚇，這是證明他們沉淪，你們得救都是出於上帝。

fán shì bú pà dí rén de jīng xià ， zhè shì zhèng míng tā men chén lún ， nǐ men dé jiù dōu shì chū yú shén 。

and in nothing frightened by the adversaries, which is for them a proof of destruction, but to you of salvation, and that from God.

因為你們蒙恩，不但得以信服基督，並要為他受苦。

yīn wèi nǐ men méng ēn ， bú dàn dé yǐ xìn fú jī dū ， bìng yào wèi tā shòu kǔ 。

Because it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in him, but also to suffer on his behalf,

你們的爭戰，就與你們在我身上從前所看見、現在所聽見的一樣。

nǐ men de zhēng zhàn ， jiù yǔ nǐ men zài wǒ shēn shàng cóng qián suǒ kàn jiàn 、 xiàn zài suǒ tīng jiàn de yí yàng 。

having the same conflict which you saw in me and now hear is in me.
