我夜間躺臥在床上， 尋找我心所愛的； 我尋找他，卻尋不見。

wǒ yè jiān tǎng wò zài chuáng shàng ， xún zhǎo wǒ xīn suǒ ài de ； wǒ xún zhǎo tā ， què xún bú jiàn 。

By night on my bed, I sought him whom my soul loves. I sought him, but I didn’t find him.

我說：我要起來，遊行城中， 在街市上，在寬闊處， 尋找我心所愛的。 我尋找他，卻尋不見。

wǒ shuō ： wǒ yào qǐ lái ， yóu xíng chéng zhōng ， zài jiē shì shàng ， zài kuān kuò chù ， xún zhǎo wǒ xīn suǒ ài de 。 wǒ xún zhǎo tā ， què xún bú jiàn 。

I will get up now, and go about the city; in the streets and in the squares I will seek him whom my soul loves. I sought him, but I didn’t find him.

城中巡邏看守的人遇見我； 我問他們：你們看見我心所愛的沒有？

chéng zhōng xún luó kàn shǒu de rén yù jiàn wǒ ； wǒ wèn tā men ： nǐ men kàn jiàn wǒ xīn suǒ ài de méi yǒu ？

The watchmen who go about the city found me; “Have you seen him whom my soul loves?”

我剛離開他們就遇見我心所愛的。 我拉住他，不容他走， 領他入我母家， 到懷我者的內室。

wǒ gāng lí kāi tā men jiù yù jiàn wǒ xīn suǒ ài de 。 wǒ lā zhù tā ， bù róng tā zǒu ， lǐng tā rù wǒ mǔ jiā ， dào huái wǒ zhě de nèi shì 。

I had scarcely passed from them, when I found him whom my soul loves. I held him, and would not let him go, until I had brought him into my mother’s house, into the room of her who conceived me.

耶路撒冷的眾女子啊， 我指着羚羊或田野的母鹿囑咐你們： 不要驚動、不要叫醒我所親愛的， 等他自己情願 。

yē lù sā lěng de zhòng nǚ zǐ a ， wǒ zhǐ zhe líng yáng huò tián yě de mǔ lù zhǔ fù nǐ men ： bú yào jīng dòng 、 bú yào jiào xǐng wǒ suǒ qīn ài de ， děng tā zì jǐ qíng yuàn 。

I adjure you, daughters of Jerusalem, by the roes, or by the hinds of the field, that you not stir up nor awaken love, until it so desires.

那從曠野上來、形狀如煙柱、 以沒藥和乳香並商人各樣香粉薰的是誰呢？

nà cóng kuàng yě shàng lái 、 xíng zhuàng rú yān zhù 、 yǐ mò yào hé rǔ xiāng bìng shāng rén gè yàng xiāng fěn xūn de shì shuí ne ？

Who is this who comes up from the wilderness like pillars of smoke, perfumed with myrrh and frankincense, with all spices of the merchant?

看哪，是所羅門的轎； 四圍有六十個勇士， 都是以色列中的勇士；

kàn nǎ ， shì suǒ luó mén de jiào ； sì wéi yǒu liù shí gè yǒng shì ， dōu shì yǐ sè liè zhōng de yǒng shì ；

Behold, it is Solomon’s carriage! Sixty mighty men are around it, of the mighty men of Israel.

手都持刀，善於爭戰， 腰間佩刀，防備夜間有驚慌。

shǒu dōu chí dāo ， shàn yú zhēng zhàn ， yāo jiān pèi dāo ， fáng bèi yè jiān yǒu jīng huāng 。

They all handle the sword, and are expert in war. Every man has his sword on his thigh, because of fear in the night.

所羅門王用黎巴嫩木 為自己製造一乘華轎。

suǒ luó mén wáng yòng lí bā nèn mù wèi zì jǐ zhì zào yì chéng huá jiào 。

King Solomon made himself a carriage of the wood of Lebanon.

轎柱是用銀做的， 轎底是用金做的； 坐墊是紫色的， 其中所鋪的乃耶路撒冷眾女子的愛情。

jiào zhù shì yòng yín zuò de ， jiào dǐ shì yòng jīn zuò de ； zuò diàn shì zǐ sè de ， qí zhōng suǒ pù de nǎi yē lù sā lěng zhòng nǚ zǐ de ài qíng 。

He made its pillars of silver, its bottom of gold, its seat of purple, the middle of it being paved with love, from the daughters of Jerusalem.

錫安的眾女子啊， 你們出去觀看所羅門王！ 頭戴冠冕，就是在他婚筵的日子、 心中喜樂的時候，他母親給他戴上的。

xī ān de zhòng nǚ zǐ a ， nǐ men chū qù guān kàn suǒ luó mén wáng ！ tóu dài guān miǎn ， jiù shì zài tā hūn yán de rì zi 、 xīn zhōng xǐ lè de shí hòu ， tā mǔ qīn gěi tā dài shàng de 。

Go out, you daughters of Zion, and see King Solomon, with the crown with which his mother has crowned him, in the day of his weddings, in the day of the gladness of his heart.
