lì mǎ lì de ér zi bǐ jiā shí qī nián , yóu dà wáng yuē tǎn de ér zi yà hā sī dēng jī 。

In the seventeenth year of Pekah the son of Remaliah, Ahaz the son of Jotham king of Judah began to reign.

tā dēng jī de shí hòu nián èr shí suì , zài yē lù sā lěng zuò wáng shí liù nián ; bú xiàng tā zǔ dà wèi xíng yē hé huá — tā shén yǎn zhōng kàn wèi zhèng de shì ,

Ahaz was twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. He didn’t do that which was right in the LORD his God’s eyes, like David his father.

què xiào fǎ yǐ sè liè zhū wáng suǒ xíng de , yòu zhào zhe yē hé huá cóng yǐ sè liè rén miàn qián gǎn chū de wài bāng rén suǒ xíng kě zēng de shì , shǐ tā de ér zi jīng huǒ ,

But he walked in the way of the kings of Israel, and even made his son to pass through the fire, according to the abominations of the nations whom the LORD cast out from before the children of Israel.

bìng zài qiū tán shàng 、 shān gāng shàng 、 gè qīng cuì shù xià xiàn jì shāo xiāng 。

He sacrificed and burned incense in the high places, on the hills, and under every green tree.

yà lán wáng lì xùn hé yǐ sè liè wáng lì mǎ lì de ér zǐ bǐ jiā shàng lái gōng dǎ yē lù sā lěng , wéi kùn yà hā sī , què bù néng shèng tā 。

Then Rezin king of Syria and Pekah son of Remaliah king of Israel came up to Jerusalem to wage war. They besieged Ahaz, but could not overcome him.

dāng shí yà lán wáng lì xùn shōu huí yǐ lā tā guī yǔ yà lán , jiāng yóu dà rén cóng yǐ lā tā gǎn chū qù 。 yà lán rén jiù lái dào yǐ lā tā , zhù zài nà lǐ , zhí dào jīn rì 。

At that time Rezin king of Syria recovered Elath to Syria, and drove the Jews from Elath; and the Syrians came to Elath, and lived there to this day.

yà hā sī chāi qiǎn shǐ zhě qù jiàn yà shù wáng tí gé lā · pí liè sè , shuō :「 wǒ shì nǐ de pú rén 、 nǐ de ér zi 。 xiàn zài yà lán wáng hé yǐ sè liè wáng gōng jī wǒ , qiú nǐ lái jiù wǒ tuō lí tā men de shǒu 。」

So Ahaz sent messengers to Tiglath Pileser king of Assyria, saying, “I am your servant and your son. Come up and save me out of the hand of the king of Syria and out of the hand of the king of Israel, who rise up against me.”

yà hā sī jiāng yē hé huá diàn lǐ hé wáng gōng fǔ kù lǐ suǒ yǒu de jīn yín dōu sòng gěi yà shù wáng wèi lǐ wù 。

Ahaz took the silver and gold that was found in the LORD’s house, and in the treasures of the king’s house, and sent it for a present to the king of Assyria.

yà shù wáng yīng yǔn le tā , jiù shàng qù gōng dǎ dà mǎ shì gé , jiāng chéng gōng qǔ , shā le lì xùn , bǎ jū mín lǔ dào jí ěr 。

The king of Assyria listened to him; and the king of Assyria went up against Damascus and took it, and carried its people captive to Kir, and killed Rezin.

yà hā sī wáng shàng dà mǎ shì gé qù yíng jiē yà shù wáng tí gé lā · pí liè sè , zài dà mǎ shì gé kàn jiàn yí zuò tán , jiù zhào tán de guī mú yàng shì zuò fǎ huà le tú yàng , sòng dào jì sī wū lì yà nà lǐ 。

King Ahaz went to Damascus to meet Tiglath Pileser king of Assyria, and saw the altar that was at Damascus; and King Ahaz sent to Urijah the priest a drawing of the altar and plans to build it.

jì sī wū lì yà zhào zhe yà hā sī wáng cóng dà mǎ shì gé sòng lái de tú yàng , zài yà hā sī wáng méi yǒu cóng dà mǎ shì gé huí lái zhī xiān , jiàn zhù yí zuò tán 。

Urijah the priest built an altar. According to all that King Ahaz had sent from Damascus, so Urijah the priest made it for the coming of King Ahaz from Damascus.

wáng cóng dà mǎ shì gé huí lái kàn jiàn tán , jiù jìn qián lái , zài tán shàng xiàn jì ;

When the king had come from Damascus, the king saw the altar; and the king came near to the altar, and offered on it.

shāo fán jì 、 sù jì 、 jiāo diàn jì , jiāng píng ān jì shēng de xuè sǎ zài tán shàng ,

He burned his burnt offering and his meal offering, poured his drink offering, and sprinkled the blood of his peace offerings on the altar.

yòu jiāng yē hé huá miàn qián de tóng tán cóng yē hé huá diàn hé xīn tán de zhōng jiān bān dào xīn tán de běi biān 。

The bronze altar, which was before the LORD, he brought from the front of the house, from between his altar and the LORD’s house, and put it on the north side of his altar.

yà hā sī wáng fēn fù jì sī wū lì yà shuō :「 zǎo chén de fán jì 、 wǎn shàng de sù jì , wáng de fán jì 、 sù jì , guó nèi zhòng mín de fán jì 、 sù jì 、 diàn jì dōu yào shāo zài dà tán shàng 。 fán jì shēng hé píng ān jì shēng de xuè yě yào sǎ zài zhè tán shàng , zhǐ shì tóng tán wǒ yào yòng yǐ qiú wèn yē hé huá 。」

King Ahaz commanded Urijah the priest, saying, “On the great altar burn the morning burnt offering, the evening meal offering, the king’s burnt offering and his meal offering, with the burnt offering of all the people of the land, their meal offering, and their drink offerings; and sprinkle on it all the blood of the burnt offering, and all the blood of the sacrifice; but the bronze altar will be for me to inquire by.”

jì sī wū lì yà jiù zhào zhe yà hā sī wáng suǒ fēn fù de xíng le 。

Urijah the priest did so, according to all that King Ahaz commanded.

yà hā sī wáng dǎ diào pén zuò sì miàn xiāng zhe de xīn zǐ , bǎ pén cóng zuò shàng nuó xià lái , yòu jiāng tóng hǎi cóng tuó hǎi de tóng niú shàng bān xià lái , fàng zài pù shí dì ;

King Ahaz cut off the panels of the bases, and removed the basin from off them, and took down the sea from off the bronze oxen that were under it, and put it on a pavement of stone.

殿殿殿

yòu yīn yà shù wáng de yuán gù , jiāng yē hé huá diàn wèi ān xī rì suǒ gài de láng zǐ hé wáng cóng wài rù diàn de láng zǐ nuó yí , wéi rào yē hé huá de diàn 。

He removed the covered way for the Sabbath that they had built in the house, and the king’s outer entrance to the LORD’s house, because of the king of Assyria.

yà hā sī qí yú suǒ xíng de shì dōu xiě zài yóu dà liè wáng jì shàng 。

Now the rest of the acts of Ahaz which he did, aren’t they written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

yà hā sī yǔ tā liè zǔ tóng shuì , zàng zài dà wèi chéng tā liè zǔ de fén dì lǐ 。 tā ér zi xī xī jiā jiē xù tā zuò wáng 。

Ahaz slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in David’s city; and Hezekiah his son reigned in his place.
