亚哈谢藏在撒马利亚，耶户寻找他，众人将他拿住，送到耶户那里，就杀了他，将他葬埋；因他们说，他是那尽心寻求耶和华之约沙法的儿子。这样，亚哈谢的家无力保守国权。
yà hā xiè cáng zài sā mǎ lì yà ， yē hù xún zhǎo tā ， zhòng rén jiāng tā ná zhù ， sòng dào yē hù nà lǐ ， jiù shā le tā ， jiāng tā zàng mái ； yīn tā men shuō ， tā shì nà jìn xīn xún qiú yē hé huá zhī yuē shā fǎ de ér zi 。 zhè yàng ， yà hā xiè de jiā wú lì bǎo shǒu guó quán 。
E cercò Achazia, ed egli fu preso, essendo nascosto in Samaria, e fu menato a Iehu, ed ucciso; e poi fu seppellito; perciocchè fu detto: Egli è il figliuolo di Giosafat, il quale ricercò il Signore con tutto il suo cuore. E non vi fu alcuno della casa di Achazia che avesse il potere di farsi re.
