耶和华闻那馨香之气，就心里说：「我不再因人的缘故咒诅地（人从小时心里怀着恶念），也不再按着我才行的灭各种的活物了。
yē hé huá wén nà xīn xiāng zhī qì ， jiù xīn lǐ shuō ：「 wǒ bú zài yīn rén de yuán gù zhòu zǔ dì （ rén cóng xiǎo shí xīn lǐ huái zhe è niàn ）， yě bú zài àn zhe wǒ cái xíng de miè gè zhǒng de huó wù le 。
E il Signore odorò un odor soave; e disse nel cuor suo: Io non maledirò più la terra per l'uomo; conciossiachè l'immaginazione del cuor dell'uomo sia malvagia fin dalla sua fanciullezza; e non percoterò più ogni cosa vivente, come ho fatto.
