大衛說：「這就是耶和華上帝的殿，為以色列人獻燔祭的壇。」

dà wèi shuō ：「 zhè jiù shì yē hé huá shén de diàn ， wèi yǐ sè liè rén xiàn fán jì de tán 。」

Then David said, “This is the house of the LORD God, and this is the altar of burnt offering for Israel.”

大衛吩咐聚集住以色列地的外邦人，從其中派石匠鑿石頭，要建造上帝的殿。

dà wèi fēn fù jù jí zhù yǐ sè liè dì de wài bāng rén ， cóng qí zhōng pài shí jiàng záo shí tou ， yào jiàn zào shén de diàn 。

David gave orders to gather together the foreigners who were in the land of Israel; and he set masons to cut dressed stones to build God’s house.

大衛預備許多鐵做門上的釘子和鉤子，又預備許多銅，多得無法可稱；

dà wèi yù bèi xǔ duō tiě zuò mén shàng de dīng zi hé gōu zǐ ， yòu yù bèi xǔ duō tóng ， duō dé wú fǎ kě chēng ；

David prepared iron in abundance for the nails for the doors of the gates and for the couplings, and bronze in abundance without weight,

又預備無數的香柏木，因為西頓人和泰爾人給大衛運了許多香柏木來。

yòu yù bèi wú shù de xiāng bǎi mù ， yīn wèi xī dùn rén hé tài ěr rén gěi dà wèi yùn le xǔ duō xiāng bǎi mù lái 。

and cedar trees without number, for the Sidonians and the people of Tyre brought cedar trees in abundance to David.

大衛說：「我兒子所羅門還年幼嬌嫩，要為耶和華建造的殿宇必須高大輝煌，使名譽榮耀傳遍萬國；所以我要為殿預備材料。」於是，大衛在未死之先預備的材料甚多。

dà wèi shuō ：「 wǒ ér zi suǒ luó mén hái nián yòu jiāo nèn ， yào wèi yē hé huá jiàn zào de diàn yǔ bì xū gāo dà huī huáng ， shǐ míng yù róng yào chuán biàn wàn guó ； suǒ yǐ wǒ yào wèi diàn yù bèi cái liào 。」 yú shì ， dà wèi zài wèi sǐ zhī xiān yù bèi de cái liào shèn duō 。

David said, “Solomon my son is young and tender, and the house that is to be built for the LORD must be exceedingly magnificent, of fame and of glory throughout all countries. I will therefore make preparation for it.” So David prepared abundantly before his death.

大衛召了他兒子所羅門來，囑咐他給耶和華－以色列的上帝建造殿宇，

dà wèi zhào le tā ér zǐ suǒ luó mén lái ， zhǔ fù tā gěi yē hé huá — yǐ sè liè de shén jiàn zào diàn yǔ ，

Then he called for Solomon his son, and commanded him to build a house for the LORD, the God of Israel.

對所羅門說：「我兒啊，我心裏本想為耶和華－我上帝的名建造殿宇，

duì suǒ luó mén shuō ：「 wǒ ér a ， wǒ xīn lǐ běn xiǎng wèi yē hé huá — wǒ shén de míng jiàn zào diàn yǔ ，

David said to Solomon his son, “As for me, it was in my heart to build a house to the name of the LORD my God.

只是耶和華的話臨到我說：『你流了多人的血，打了多次大仗，你不可為我的名建造殿宇，因為你在我眼前使多人的血流在地上。

zhǐ shì yē hé huá de huà lín dào wǒ shuō ：『 nǐ liú le duō rén de xuè ， dǎ le duō cì dà zhàng ， nǐ bù kě wèi wǒ de míng jiàn zào diàn yǔ ， yīn wèi nǐ zài wǒ yǎn qián shǐ duō rén de xuè liú zài dì shàng 。

But the LORD’s word came to me, saying, ‘You have shed blood abundantly and have made great wars. You shall not build a house to my name, because you have shed much blood on the earth in my sight.

你要生一個兒子，他必作太平的人；我必使他安靜，不被四圍的仇敵擾亂。他的名要叫所羅門 。他在位的日子，我必使以色列人平安康泰。

nǐ yào shēng yí gè ér zi ， tā bì zuò tài píng de rén ； wǒ bì shǐ tā ān jìng ， bú bèi sì wéi de chóu dí rǎo luàn 。 tā de míng yào jiào suǒ luó mén 。 tā zài wèi de rì zi ， wǒ bì shǐ yǐ sè liè rén píng ān kāng tài 。

Behold, a son shall be born to you, who shall be a man of peace. I will give him rest from all his enemies all around; for his name shall be Solomon, and I will give peace and quietness to Israel in his days.

他必為我的名建造殿宇。他要作我的子；我要作他的父。他作以色列王；我必堅定他的國位，直到永遠。』

tā bì wèi wǒ de míng jiàn zào diàn yǔ 。 tā yào zuò wǒ de zǐ ； wǒ yào zuò tā de fù 。 tā zuò yǐ sè liè wáng ； wǒ bì jiān dìng tā de guó wèi ， zhí dào yǒng yuǎn 。』

He shall build a house for my name; and he will be my son, and I will be his father; and I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel forever.’

我兒啊，現今願耶和華與你同在，使你亨通，照他指着你說的話，建造耶和華－你上帝的殿。

wǒ ér a ， xiàn jīn yuàn yē hé huá yǔ nǐ tóng zài ， shǐ nǐ hēng tōng ， zhào tā zhǐ zhe nǐ shuō de huà ， jiàn zào yē hé huá — nǐ shén de diàn 。

Now, my son, may the LORD be with you and prosper you, and build the house of the LORD your God, as he has spoken concerning you.

但願耶和華賜你聰明智慧，好治理以色列國，遵行耶和華－你上帝的律法。

dàn yuàn yē hé huá cì nǐ cōng míng zhì huì ， hǎo zhì lǐ yǐ sè liè guó ， zūn xíng yē hé huá — nǐ shén de lǜ fǎ 。

May the LORD give you discretion and understanding, and put you in charge of Israel, so that you may keep the law of the LORD your God.

你若謹守遵行耶和華藉摩西吩咐以色列的律例典章，就得亨通。你當剛強壯膽，不要懼怕，也不要驚惶。

nǐ ruò jǐn shǒu zūn xíng yē hé huá jiè mó xī fēn fù yǐ sè liè de lǜ lì diǎn zhāng ， jiù dé hēng tōng 。 nǐ dāng gāng qiáng zhuàng dǎn ， bú yào jù pà ， yě bú yào jīng huáng 。

Then you will prosper, if you observe to do the statutes and the ordinances which the LORD gave Moses concerning Israel. Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid and don’t be dismayed.

我在困難之中為耶和華的殿預備了金子十萬他連得，銀子一百萬他連得，銅和鐵多得無法可稱；我也預備了木頭、石頭，你還可以增添。

wǒ zài kùn nán zhī zhōng wèi yē hé huá de diàn yù bèi le jīn zǐ shí wàn tā lián dé ， yín zi yì bǎi wàn tā lián dé ， tóng hé tiě duō dé wú fǎ kě chēng ； wǒ yě yù bèi le mù tou 、 shí tou ， nǐ hái kě yǐ zēng tiān 。

Now, behold, in my affliction I have prepared for the LORD’s house one hundred thousand talents of gold, one million talents of silver, and bronze and iron without weight; for it is in abundance. I have also prepared timber and stone; and you may add to them.

你有許多匠人，就是石匠、木匠，和一切能做各樣工的巧匠，

nǐ yǒu xǔ duō jiàng rén ， jiù shì shí jiàng 、 mù jiàng ， hé yí qiè néng zuò gè yàng gōng de qiǎo jiàng ，

There are also workmen with you in abundance—cutters and workers of stone and timber, and all kinds of men who are skillful in every kind of work;

並有無數的金銀銅鐵。你當起來辦事，願耶和華與你同在。」

bìng yǒu wú shù de jīn yín tóng tiě 。 nǐ dāng qǐ lái bàn shì ， yuàn yē hé huá yǔ nǐ tóng zài 。」

of the gold, the silver, the bronze, and the iron, there is no number. Arise and be doing, and may the LORD be with you.”

大衛又吩咐以色列的眾首領幫助他兒子所羅門，說：

dà wèi yòu fēn fù yǐ sè liè de zhòng shǒu lǐng bāng zhù tā ér zi suǒ luó mén ， shuō ：

David also commanded all the princes of Israel to help Solomon his son, saying,

「耶和華－你們的上帝不是與你們同在嗎？不是叫你們四圍都平安嗎？因他已將這地的居民交在我手中，這地就在耶和華與他百姓面前制伏了。

「 yē hé huá — nǐ men de shén bú shì yǔ nǐ men tóng zài ma ？ bú shì jiào nǐ men sì wéi dōu píng ān ma ？ yīn tā yǐ jiāng zhè dì de jū mín jiāo zài wǒ shǒu zhōng ， zhè dì jiù zài yē hé huá yǔ tā bǎi xìng miàn qián zhì fú le 。

“Isn’t the LORD your God with you? Hasn’t he given you rest on every side? For he has delivered the inhabitants of the land into my hand; and the land is subdued before the LORD and before his people.

現在你們應當立定心意，尋求耶和華－你們的神；也當起來建造耶和華上帝的聖所，好將耶和華的約櫃和供奉上帝的聖器皿都搬進為耶和華名建造的殿裏。」

xiàn zài nǐ men yīng dāng lì dìng xīn yì ， xún qiú yē hé huá — nǐ men de shén ； yě dāng qǐ lái jiàn zào yē hé huá shén de shèng suǒ ， hǎo jiāng yē hé huá de yuē guì hé gòng fèng shén de shèng qì mǐn dōu bān jìn wèi yē hé huá míng jiàn zào de diàn lǐ 。」

Now set your heart and your soul to follow the LORD your God. Arise therefore, and build the sanctuary of the LORD God, to bring the ark of the LORD’s covenant and the holy vessels of God into the house that is to be built for the LORD’s name.”
