大衛和眾首領分派亞薩、希幔，並耶杜頓的子孫彈琴、鼓瑟、敲鈸、唱歌 。他們供職的人數記在下面：

Moreover, David and the captains of the army set apart for the service certain of the sons of Asaph, of Heman, and of Jeduthun, who were to prophesy with harps, with stringed instruments, and with cymbals. The number of those who did the work according to their service was:

亞薩的兒子撒刻、約瑟、尼探雅、亞薩利拉都歸亞薩指教，遵王的旨意唱歌。

yà sà de ér zi sā kè 、 yuē sè 、 ní tàn yǎ 、 yà sà lì lā dōu guī yà sà zhǐ jiào ， zūn wáng de zhǐ yì chàng gē 。

of the sons of Asaph: Zaccur, Joseph, Nethaniah, and Asharelah. The sons of Asaph were under the hand of Asaph, who prophesied at the order of the king.

耶杜頓的兒子基大利、西利、耶篩亞、哈沙比雅、瑪他提雅、示每共六人，都歸他們父親耶杜頓指教，彈琴，唱歌，稱謝，頌讚耶和華。

yē dù dùn de ér zi jī dà lì 、 xī lì 、 yē shāi yà 、 hā shā bǐ yǎ 、 mǎ tā tí yǎ 、 shì měi gòng liù rén ， dōu guī tā men fù qīn yē dù dùn zhǐ jiào ， tán qín ， chàng gē ， chēng xiè ， sòng zàn yē hé huá 。

Of Jeduthun, the sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, Zeri, Jeshaiah, Shimei, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the hands of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied in giving thanks and praising the LORD with the harp.

希幔的兒子布基雅、瑪探雅、烏薛、細布業、耶利摩、哈拿尼雅、哈拿尼、以利亞他、基大利提、羅幔提‧以謝、約施比加沙、瑪羅提、何提、瑪哈秀；

xī màn de ér zi bù jī yǎ 、 mǎ tàn yǎ 、 wū xuē 、 xì bù yè 、 yē lì mó 、 hā ná ní yǎ 、 hā ná ní 、 yǐ lì yà tā 、 jī dà lì tí 、 luó màn tí · yǐ xiè 、 yuē shī bǐ jiā shā 、 mǎ luó tí 、 hé tí 、 mǎ hā xiù ；

Of Heman, the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, Romamti-Ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth.

這都是希幔的兒子，吹角頌讚。希幔奉上帝之命作王的先見。上帝賜給希幔十四個兒子，三個女兒，

zhè dōu shì xī màn de ér zi ， chuī jiǎo sòng zàn 。 xī màn fèng shén zhī mìng zuò wáng de xiān jiàn 。 shén cì gěi xī màn shí sì gè ér zi ， sān gè nǚ ér ，

All these were the sons of Heman the king’s seer in the words of God, to lift up the horn. God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.

都歸他們父親指教，在耶和華的殿唱歌、敲鈸、彈琴、鼓瑟，辦上帝殿的事務。亞薩、耶杜頓、希幔都是王所命定的。

dōu guī tā men fù qīn zhǐ jiào ， zài yē hé huá de diàn chàng gē 、 qiāo bó 、 tán qín 、 gǔ sè ， bàn shén diàn de shì wù 。 yà sà 、 yē dù dùn 、 xī màn dōu shì wáng suǒ mìng dìng de 。

All these were under the hands of their father for song in the LORD’s house, with cymbals, stringed instruments, and harps, for the service of God’s house: Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman being under the order of the king.

他們和他們的弟兄學習頌讚耶和華；善於歌唱的共有二百八十八人。

tā men hé tā men de dì xiong xué xí sòng zàn yē hé huá ； shàn yú gē chàng de gòng yǒu èr bǎi bā shí bā rén 。

The number of them, with their brothers who were instructed in singing to the LORD, even all who were skillful, was two hundred eighty-eight.

這些人無論大小，為師的、為徒的，都一同掣籤分了班次。

zhè xiē rén wú lùn dà xiǎo ， wèi shī de 、 wèi tú de ， dōu yì tóng chè qiān fēn le bān cì 。

They cast lots for their offices, all alike, the small as well as the great, the teacher as well as the student.

掣籤的時候，第一掣出來的是亞薩的兒子約瑟。第二是基大利；他和他弟兄並兒子共十二人。

chè qiān de shí hòu ， dì yī chè chū lái de shì yà sà de ér zi yuē sè 。 dì èr shì jī dà lì ； tā hé tā dì xiong bìng ér zi gòng shí èr rén 。

Now the first lot came out for Asaph to Joseph; the second to Gedaliah, he and his brothers and sons were twelve;

第三是撒刻；他和他兒子並弟兄共十二人。

dì sān shì sā kè ； tā hé tā ér zi bìng dì xiong gòng shí èr rén 。

the third to Zaccur, his sons and his brothers, twelve;

第四是伊洗利；他和他兒子並弟兄共十二人。

dì sì shì yī xǐ lì ； tā hé tā ér zi bìng dì xiong gòng shí èr rén 。

the fourth to Izri, his sons and his brothers, twelve;

第五是尼探雅；他和他兒子並弟兄共十二人。

dì wǔ shì ní tàn yǎ ； tā hé tā ér zi bìng dì xiong gòng shí èr rén 。

the fifth to Nethaniah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;

第六是布基雅；他和他兒子並弟兄共十二人。

dì liù shì bù jī yǎ ； tā hé tā ér zi bìng dì xiong gòng shí èr rén 。

the sixth to Bukkiah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;

第七是耶薩利拉；他和他兒子並弟兄共十二人。

dì qī shì yē sà lì lā ； tā hé tā ér zi bìng dì xiong gòng shí èr rén 。

the seventh to Jesharelah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;

the eighth to Jeshaiah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;

dì jiǔ shì mǎ tàn yǎ ； tā hé tā ér zi bìng dì xiong gòng shí èr rén 。

the ninth to Mattaniah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;

第十是示每；他和他兒子並弟兄共十二人。

dì shí shì shì měi ； tā hé tā ér zi bìng dì xiong gòng shí èr rén 。

the tenth to Shimei, his sons and his brothers, twelve;

第十一是亞薩烈；他和他兒子並弟兄共十二人。

dì shí yī shì yà sà liè ； tā hé tā ér zi bìng dì xiong gòng shí èr rén 。

the eleventh to Azarel, his sons and his brothers, twelve;

第十二是哈沙比雅；他和他兒子並弟兄共十二人。

the twelfth to Hashabiah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
