哥林多前書 10

弟兄們，我不願意你們不曉得，我們的祖宗從前都在雲下，都從海中經過，

dì xiong men ， wǒ bú yuàn yì nǐ men bù xiǎo de ， wǒ men de zǔ zōng cóng qián dōu zài yún xià ， dōu cóng hǎi zhōng jīng guò ，

Now I would not have you ignorant, brothers, that our fathers were all under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;

都在雲裏、海裏受洗歸了摩西；

dōu zài yún lǐ 、 hǎi lǐ shòu xǐ guī le mó xī ；

and were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea;

並且都吃了一樣的靈食，

bìng qiě dōu chī le yí yàng de líng shí ，

and all ate the same spiritual food;

也都喝了一樣的靈水。所喝的，是出於隨着他們的靈磐石；那磐石就是基督。

yě dōu hē le yí yàng de líng shuǐ 。 suǒ hē de ， shì chū yú suí zhe tā men de líng pán shí ； nà pán shí jiù shì jī dū 。

and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of a spiritual rock that followed them, and the rock was Christ.

但他們中間多半是上帝不喜歡的人，所以在曠野倒斃。

dàn tā men zhōng jiān duō bàn shì shén bù xǐ huan de rén ， suǒ yǐ zài kuàng yě dǎo bì 。

However with most of them, God was not well pleased, for they were overthrown in the wilderness.

這些事都是我們的鑑戒，叫我們不要貪戀惡事，像他們那樣貪戀的；

zhè xiē shì dōu shì wǒ men de jiàn jiè ， jiào wǒ men bú yào tān liàn è shì ， xiàng tā men nà yàng tān liàn de ；

Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things as they also lusted.

也不要拜偶像，像他們有人拜的。如經上所記：「百姓坐下吃喝，起來玩耍。」

yě bú yào bài ǒu xiàng ， xiàng tā men yǒu rén bài de 。 rú jīng shàng suǒ jì ：「 bǎi xìng zuò xià chī hē ， qǐ lái wán shuǎ 。」

Don’t be idolaters, as some of them were. As it is written, “The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.”

我們也不要行姦淫，像他們有人行的，一天就倒斃了二萬三千人；

wǒ men yě bú yào xíng jiān yín ， xiàng tā men yǒu rén xíng de ， yì tiān jiù dǎo bì le èr wàn sān qiān rén ；

Let’s not commit sexual immorality, as some of them committed, and in one day twenty-three thousand fell.

也不要試探主 ，像他們有人試探的，就被蛇所滅。

yě bú yào shì tàn zhǔ ， xiàng tā men yǒu rén shì tàn de ， jiù bèi shé suǒ miè 。

Let’s not test Christ, as some of them tested, and perished by the serpents.

你們也不要發怨言，像他們有發怨言的，就被滅命的所滅。

nǐ men yě bú yào fā yuàn yán ， xiàng tā men yǒu fā yuàn yán de ， jiù bèi miè mìng de suǒ miè 。

Don’t grumble, as some of them also grumbled, and perished by the destroyer.

他們遭遇這些事都要作為鑑戒，並且寫在經上，正是警戒我們這末世的人。

tā men zāo yù zhè xiē shì dōu yào zuò wéi jiàn jiè ， bìng qiě xiě zài jīng shàng ， zhèng shì jǐng jiè wǒ men zhè mò shì de rén 。

Now all these things happened to them by way of example, and they were written for our admonition, on whom the ends of the ages have come.

所以，自己以為站得穩的，須要謹慎，免得跌倒。

suǒ yǐ ， zì jǐ yǐ wéi zhàn dé wěn de ， xū yào jǐn shèn ， miǎn de diē dǎo 。

Therefore let him who thinks he stands be careful that he doesn’t fall.

你們所遇見的試探，無非是人所能受的。上帝是信實的，必不叫你們受試探過於所能受的；在受試探的時候，總要給你們開一條出路，叫你們能忍受得住。

nǐ men suǒ yù jiàn de shì tàn ， wú fēi shì rén suǒ néng shòu de 。 shén shì xìn shí de ， bì bú jiào nǐ men shòu shì tàn guò yú suǒ néng shòu de ； zài shòu shì tàn de shí hòu ， zǒng yào gěi nǐ men kāi yì tiáo chū lù ， jiào nǐ men néng rěn shòu dé zhù 。

No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

我所親愛的弟兄啊，你們要逃避拜偶像的事。

wǒ suǒ qīn ài de dì xiong a ， nǐ men yào táo bì bài ǒu xiàng de shì 。

Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry.

我好像對明白人說的，你們要審察我的話。

wǒ hǎo xiàng duì míng bái rén shuō de ， nǐ men yào shěn chá wǒ de huà 。

I speak as to wise men. Judge what I say.

我們所祝福的杯，豈不是同領基督的血嗎？我們所擘開的餅，豈不是同領基督的身體嗎？

wǒ men suǒ zhù fú de bēi ， qǐ bú shì tóng lǐng jī dū de xuè ma ？ wǒ men suǒ bò kāi de bǐng ， qǐ bú shì tóng lǐng jī dū de shēn tǐ ma ？

The cup of blessing which we bless, isn’t it a sharing of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, isn’t it a sharing of the body of Christ?

我們雖多，仍是一個餅，一個身體，因為我們都是分受這一個餅。

wǒ men suī duō ， réng shì yí gè bǐng ， yí gè shēn tǐ ， yīn wèi wǒ men dōu shì fēn shòu zhè yí gè bǐng 。

Because there is one loaf of bread, we, who are many, are one body; for we all partake of the one loaf of bread.

你們看屬肉體的以色列人，那吃祭物的豈不是在祭壇上有分嗎？

nǐ men kàn shǔ ròu tǐ de yǐ sè liè rén ， nà chī jì wù de qǐ bú shì zài jì tán shàng yǒu fēn ma ？

Consider Israel according to the flesh. Don’t those who eat the sacrifices participate in the altar?

我是怎麼說呢？豈是說祭偶像之物算得甚麼呢？或說偶像算得甚麼呢？

wǒ shì zěn me shuō ne ？ qǐ shì shuō jì ǒu xiàng zhī wù suàn dé shén me ne ？ huò shuō ǒu xiàng suàn dé shén me ne ？

What am I saying then? That a thing sacrificed to idols is anything, or that an idol is anything?

我乃是說，外邦人所獻的祭是祭鬼，不是祭上帝。我不願意你們與鬼相交。

wǒ nǎi shì shuō ， wài bāng rén suǒ xiàn de jì shì jì guǐ ， bú shì jì shén 。 wǒ bú yuàn yì nǐ men yǔ guǐ xiāng jiāo 。

But I say that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons and not to God, and I don’t desire that you would have fellowship with demons.

你們不能喝主的杯又喝鬼的杯，不能吃主的筵席又吃鬼的筵席。

nǐ men bù néng hē zhǔ de bēi yòu hē guǐ de bēi ， bù néng chī zhǔ de yán xí yòu chī guǐ de yán xí 。

You can’t both drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You can’t both partake of the table of the Lord and of the table of demons.

我們可惹主的憤恨嗎？我們比他還有能力嗎？

wǒ men kě rě zhǔ de fèn hèn ma ？ wǒ men bǐ tā hái yǒu néng lì ma ？

Or do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than he?

凡事都可行，但不都有益處。凡事都可行，但不都造就人。

fán shì dōu kě xíng ， dàn bù dōu yǒu yì chù 。 fán shì dōu kě xíng ， dàn bù dōu zào jiù rén 。

“All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are profitable. “All things are lawful for me,” but not all things build up.

無論何人，不要求自己的益處，乃要求別人的益處。

wú lùn hé rén ， bú yāo qiú zì jǐ de yì chù ， nǎi yāo qiú bié rén de yì chù 。

Let no one seek his own, but each one his neighbor’s good.

凡市上所賣的，你們只管吃，不要為良心的緣故問甚麼話，

fán shì shàng suǒ mài de ， nǐ men zhǐ guǎn chī ， bú yào wèi liáng xīn de yuán gù wèn shén me huà ，

Whatever is sold in the butcher shop, eat, asking no question for the sake of conscience,

因為地和其中所充滿的都屬乎主。

yīn wèi dì hé qí zhōng suǒ chōng mǎn de dōu shǔ hū zhǔ 。

for “the earth is the Lord’s, and its fullness.”

倘有一個不信的人請你們赴席，你們若願意去，凡擺在你們面前的，只管吃，不要為良心的緣故問甚麼話。

tǎng yǒu yí gè bú xìn de rén qǐng nǐ men fù xí ， nǐ men ruò yuàn yì qù ， fán bǎi zài nǐ men miàn qián de ， zhǐ guǎn chī ， bú yào wèi liáng xīn de yuán gù wèn shén me huà 。

But if one of those who don’t believe invites you to a meal, and you are inclined to go, eat whatever is set before you, asking no questions for the sake of conscience.

若有人對你們說：「這是獻過祭的物」，就要為那告訴你們的人，並為良心的緣故不吃。

ruò yǒu rén duì nǐ men shuō ：「 zhè shì xiàn guò jì de wù 」， jiù yào wèi nà gào sù nǐ men de rén ， bìng wèi liáng xīn de yuán gù bù chī 。

But if anyone says to you, “This was offered to idols,” don’t eat it for the sake of the one who told you, and for the sake of conscience. For “the earth is the Lord’s, with all its fullness.”

我說的良心不是你的，乃是他的。我這自由為甚麼被別人的良心論斷呢？

wǒ shuō de liáng xīn bú shì nǐ de ， nǎi shì tā de 。 wǒ zhè zì yóu wèi shén me bèi bié rén de liáng xīn lùn duàn ne ？

Conscience, I say, not your own, but the other’s conscience. For why is my liberty judged by another conscience?

我若謝恩而吃，為甚麼因我謝恩的物被人毀謗呢？

wǒ ruò xiè ēn ér chī ， wèi shén me yīn wǒ xiè ēn de wù bèi rén huǐ bàng ne ？

If I partake with thankfulness, why am I denounced for something I give thanks for?

所以，你們或吃或喝，無論做甚麼，都要為榮耀上帝而行。

suǒ yǐ ， nǐ men huò chī huò hē ， wú lùn zuò shén me ， dōu yào wèi róng yào shén ér xíng 。

Whether therefore you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

不拘是猶太人，是希臘人，是上帝的教會，你們都不要使他跌倒；

bù jū shì yóu tài rén ， shì xī là rén ， shì shén de jiào huì ， nǐ men dōu bú yào shǐ tā diē dǎo ；

Give no occasion for stumbling, whether to Jews, to Greeks, or to the assembly of God;

就好像我凡事都叫眾人喜歡，不求自己的益處，只求眾人的益處，叫他們得救。

jiù hǎo xiàng wǒ fán shì dōu jiào zhòng rén xǐ huān ， bù qiú zì jǐ de yì chù ， zhī qiú zhòng rén de yì chù ， jiào tā men dé jiù 。

even as I also please all men in all things, not seeking my own profit, but the profit of the many, that they may be saved.
