彼得前書 3

你們作妻子的要順服自己的丈夫；這樣，若有不信從道理的丈夫，他們雖然不聽道，也可以因妻子的品行被感化過來；

nǐ men zuò qī zǐ de yào shùn fú zì jǐ de zhàng fu ； zhè yàng ， ruò yǒu bú xìn cóng dào lǐ de zhàng fū ， tā men suī rán bù tīng dào ， yě kě yǐ yīn qī zǐ de pǐn xíng bèi gǎn huà guò lái ；

In the same way, wives, be in subjection to your own husbands, so that, even if any don’t obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word,

這正是因看見你們有貞潔的品行和敬畏的心。

zhè zhèng shì yīn kàn jiàn nǐ men yǒu zhēn jié de pǐn xíng hé jìng wèi de xīn 。

seeing your pure behavior in fear.

你們不要以外面的辮頭髮，戴金飾，穿美衣為妝飾，

nǐ men bú yào yǐ wài miàn de biàn tóu fa ， dài jīn shì ， chuān měi yī wèi zhuāng shì ，

Let your beauty come not from the outward adorning of braiding your hair, and of wearing gold ornaments or of putting on fine clothing,

只要以裏面存着長久溫柔、安靜的心為妝飾；這在上帝面前是極寶貴的。

zhǐ yào yǐ lǐ miàn cún zhe cháng jiǔ wēn róu 、 ān jìng de xīn wèi zhuāng shì ； zhè zài shén miàn qián shì jí bǎo guì de 。

but from the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in God’s sight.

因為古時仰賴上帝的聖潔婦人正是以此為妝飾，順服自己的丈夫，

yīn wèi gǔ shí yǎng lài shén de shèng jié fù rén zhèng shì yǐ cǐ wèi zhuāng shì ， shùn fú zì jǐ de zhàng fu ，

For this is how in the past the holy women who hoped in God also adorned themselves, being in subjection to their own husbands.

就如撒拉聽從亞伯拉罕，稱他為主。你們若行善，不因恐嚇而害怕，便是撒拉的女兒了。

jiù rú sā lā tīng cóng yà bó lā hǎn ， chēng tā wèi zhǔ 。 nǐ men ruò xíng shàn ， bù yīn kǒng hè ér hài pà ， biàn shì sā lā de nǚ ér le 。

So Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord, whose children you now are if you do well and are not put in fear by any terror.

你們作丈夫的也要按情理 和妻子同住；因她比你軟弱 ，與你一同承受生命之恩的，所以要敬重她。這樣，便叫你們的禱告沒有阻礙。

nǐ men zuò zhàng fu de yě yào àn qíng lǐ hé qī zǐ tóng zhù ； yīn tā bǐ nǐ ruǎn ruò ， yǔ nǐ yì tóng chéng shòu shēng mìng zhī ēn de ， suǒ yǐ yào jìng zhòng tā 。 zhè yàng ， biàn jiào nǐ men de dǎo gào méi yǒu zǔ ài 。

You husbands, in the same way, live with your wives according to knowledge, giving honor to the woman as to the weaker vessel, as also being joint heirs of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered.

總而言之，你們都要同心，彼此體恤，相愛如弟兄，存慈憐謙卑的心。

zǒng ér yán zhī ， nǐ men dōu yào tóng xīn ， bǐ cǐ tǐ xù ， xiāng ài rú dì xiong ， cún cí lián qiān bēi de xīn 。

Finally, all of you be like-minded, compassionate, loving as brothers, tenderhearted, courteous,

不以惡報惡，以辱罵還辱罵，倒要祝福；因你們是為此蒙召，好叫你們承受福氣。

bù yǐ è bào è ， yǐ rǔ mà hái rǔ mà ， dǎo yào zhù fú ； yīn nǐ men shì wèi cǐ méng zhào ， hǎo jiào nǐ men chéng shòu fú qì 。

not rendering evil for evil or insult for insult; but instead blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing.

因為經上說： 人若愛生命， 願享美福， 須要禁止舌頭不出惡言， 嘴唇不說詭詐的話；

yīn wèi jīng shàng shuō ： rén ruò ài shēng mìng ， yuàn xiǎng měi fú ， xū yào jìn zhǐ shé tou bù chū è yán ， zuǐ chún bù shuō guǐ zhà de huà ；

For, “He who would love life and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit.

也要離惡行善， 尋求和睦，一心追趕。

yě yào lí è xíng shàn ， xún qiú hé mù ， yì xīn zhuī gǎn 。

Let him turn away from evil and do good. Let him seek peace and pursue it.

因為，主的眼看顧義人； 主的耳聽他們的祈禱。 惟有行惡的人，主向他們變臉。

yīn wèi ， zhǔ de yǎn kàn gù yì rén ； zhǔ de ěr tīng tā men de qí dǎo 。 wéi yǒu xíng è de rén ， zhǔ xiàng tā men biàn liǎn 。

For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears open to their prayer; but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”

你們若是熱心行善，有誰害你們呢？

nǐ men ruò shì rè xīn xíng shàn ， yǒu shuí hài nǐ men ne ？

Now who will harm you if you become imitators of that which is good?

你們就是為義受苦，也是有福的。不要怕人的威嚇 ，也不要驚慌；

nǐ men jiù shì wèi yì shòu kǔ ， yě shì yǒu fú de 。 bú yào pà rén de wēi hè ， yě bú yào jīng huāng ；

But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed. “Don’t fear what they fear, neither be troubled.”

只要心裏尊主基督為聖。有人問你們心中盼望的緣由，就要常作準備，以溫柔、敬畏的心回答各人；

zhǐ yào xīn lǐ zūn zhǔ jī dū wèi shèng 。 yǒu rén wèn nǐ men xīn zhōng pàn wàng de yuán yóu ， jiù yào cháng zuò zhǔn bèi ， yǐ wēn róu 、 jìng wèi de xīn huí dá gè rén ；

But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts. Always be ready to give an answer to everyone who asks you a reason concerning the hope that is in you, with humility and fear,

存着無虧的良心，叫你們在何事上被毀謗，就在何事上可以叫那誣賴你們在基督裏有好品行的人自覺羞愧。

cún zhe wú kuī de liáng xīn ， jiào nǐ men zài hé shì shàng bèi huǐ bàng ， jiù zài hé shì shàng kě yǐ jiào nà wū lài nǐ men zài jī dū lǐ yǒu hǎo pǐn xíng de rén zì jué xiū kuì 。

having a good conscience. Thus, while you are spoken against as evildoers, they may be disappointed who curse your good way of life in Christ.

上帝的旨意若是叫你們因行善受苦，總強如因行惡受苦。

shén de zhǐ yì ruò shì jiào nǐ men yīn xíng shàn shòu kǔ ， zǒng qiáng rú yīn xíng è shòu kǔ 。

For it is better, if it is God’s will, that you suffer for doing what is right than for doing evil.

因基督也曾一次為罪受苦 ，就是義的代替不義的，為要引我們到上帝面前。按着肉體說，他被治死；按着靈性說，他復活了。

yīn jī dū yě céng yí cì wèi zuì shòu kǔ ， jiù shì yì de dài tì bú yì de ， wèi yào yǐn wǒ men dào shén miàn qián 。 àn zhe ròu tǐ shuō ， tā bèi zhì sǐ ； àn zhe líng xìng shuō ， tā fù huó le 。

Because Christ also suffered for sins once, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring you to God, being put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the Spirit,

他藉這靈曾去傳道給那些在監獄裏的靈聽，

tā jiè zhè líng céng qù chuán dào gěi nà xiē zài jiān yù lǐ de líng tīng ，

in whom he also went and preached to the spirits in prison,

就是那從前在挪亞預備方舟、上帝容忍等待的時候，不信從的人。當時進入方舟，藉着水得救的不多，只有八個人。

jiù shì nà cóng qián zài nuó yà yù bèi fāng zhōu 、 shén róng rěn děng dài de shí hòu ， bú xìn cóng de rén 。 dāng shí jìn rù fāng zhōu ， jiè zhe shuǐ dé jiù de bù duō ， zhǐ yǒu bā gè rén 。

who before were disobedient when God waited patiently in the days of Noah while the ship was being built. In it, few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water.

這水所表明的洗禮，現在藉着耶穌基督復活也拯救你們；這洗禮本不在乎除掉肉體的污穢，只求在上帝面前有無虧的良心。

zhè shuǐ suǒ biǎo míng de xǐ lǐ ， xiàn zài jiè zhe yē sū jī dū fù huó yě zhěng jiù nǐ men ； zhè xǐ lǐ běn bú zài hū chú diào ròu tǐ de wū huì ， zhī qiú zài shén miàn qián yǒu wú kuī de liáng xīn 。

This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you—not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God—through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

耶穌已經進入天堂，在上帝的右邊；眾天使和有權柄的，並有能力的，都服從了他。

yē sū yǐ jīng jìn rù tiān táng ， zài shén de yòu biān ； zhòng tiān shǐ hé yǒu quán bǐng de ， bìng yǒu néng lì de ， dōu fú cóng le tā 。

who is at the right hand of God, having gone into heaven, angels and authorities and powers being made subject to him.
