彼得前書 4

基督既在肉身受苦，你們也當將這樣的心志作為兵器，因為在肉身受過苦的，就已經與罪斷絕了。

jī dū jì zài ròu shēn shòu kǔ ， nǐ men yě dāng jiāng zhè yàng de xīn zhì zuò wéi bīng qì ， yīn wèi zài ròu shēn shòu guò kǔ de ， jiù yǐ jīng yǔ zuì duàn jué le 。

Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind; for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin,

你們存這樣的心，從今以後就可以不從人的情慾，只從上帝的旨意在世度餘下的光陰。

nǐ men cún zhè yàng de xīn ， cóng jīn yǐ hòu jiù kě yǐ bù cóng rén de qíng yù ， zhī cóng shén de zhǐ yì zài shì dù yú xià de guāng yīn 。

that you no longer should live the rest of your time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God.

因為往日隨從外邦人的心意行邪淫、惡慾、醉酒、荒宴、群飲，並可惡拜偶像的事，時候已經夠了。

yīn wèi wǎng rì suí cóng wài bāng rén de xīn yì xíng xié yín 、 è yù 、 zuì jiǔ 、 huāng yàn 、 qún yǐn ， bìng kě wù bài ǒu xiàng de shì ， shí hòu yǐ jīng gòu le 。

For we have spent enough of our past time doing the desire of the Gentiles, and having walked in lewdness, lusts, drunken binges, orgies, carousings, and abominable idolatries.

他們在這些事上，見你們不與他們同奔那放蕩無度的路，就以為怪，毀謗你們。

tā men zài zhè xiē shì shàng ， jiàn nǐ men bù yǔ tā men tóng bēn nà fàng dàng wú dù de lù ， jiù yǐ wéi guài ， huǐ bàng nǐ men 。

They think it is strange that you don’t run with them into the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you.

他們必在那將要審判活人死人的主面前交帳。

tā men bì zài nà jiāng yào shěn pàn huó rén sǐ rén de zhǔ miàn qián jiāo zhàng 。

They will give account to him who is ready to judge the living and the dead.

為此，就是死人也曾有福音傳給他們，要叫他們的肉體按着人受審判，他們的靈性卻靠上帝活着。

wèi cǐ ， jiù shì sǐ rén yě céng yǒu fú yīn chuán gěi tā men ， yào jiào tā men de ròu tǐ àn zhe rén shòu shěn pàn ， tā men de líng xìng què kào shén huó zhe 。

For to this end the Good News was preached even to the dead, that they might be judged indeed as men in the flesh, but live as to God in the spirit.

萬物的結局近了。所以，你們要謹慎自守，警醒禱告。

wàn wù de jié jú jìn le 。 suǒ yǐ ， nǐ men yào jǐn shèn zì shǒu ， jǐng xǐng dǎo gào 。

But the end of all things is near. Therefore be of sound mind, self-controlled, and sober in prayer.

最要緊的是彼此切實相愛，因為愛能遮掩許多的罪。

zuì yào jǐn de shì bǐ cǐ qiè shí xiāng ài ， yīn wèi ài néng zhē yǎn xǔ duō de zuì 。

And above all things be earnest in your love among yourselves, for love covers a multitude of sins.

你們要互相款待，不發怨言。

nǐ men yào hù xiāng kuǎn dài ， bù fā yuàn yán 。

Be hospitable to one another without grumbling.

各人要照所得的恩賜彼此服事，作上帝百般恩賜的好管家。

gè rén yào zhào suǒ dé de ēn cì bǐ cǐ fú shì ， zuò shén bǎi bān ēn cì de hǎo guǎn jiā 。

As each has received a gift, employ it in serving one another, as good managers of the grace of God in its various forms.

若有講道的，要按着上帝的聖言講；若有服事人的，要按着上帝所賜的力量服事，叫上帝在凡事上因耶穌基督得榮耀。原來榮耀、權能都是他的，直到永永遠遠。阿們！

ruò yǒu jiǎng dào de ， yào àn zhe shén de shèng yán jiǎng ； ruò yǒu fú shì rén de ， yào àn zhe shén suǒ cì de lì liàng fú shì ， jiào shén zài fán shì shàng yīn yē sū jī dū dé róng yào 。 yuán lái róng yào 、 quán néng dōu shì tā de ， zhí dào yǒng yǒng yuǎn yuǎn 。 ā men ！

If anyone speaks, let it be as it were the very words of God. If anyone serves, let it be as of the strength which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

親愛的弟兄啊，有火煉的試驗臨到你們，不要以為奇怪（似乎是遭遇非常的事），

qīn ài de dì xiong a ， yǒu huǒ liàn de shì yàn lín dào nǐ men ， bú yào yǐ wéi qí guài （ sì hū shì zāo yù fēi cháng de shì ），

Beloved, don’t be astonished at the fiery trial which has come upon you to test you, as though a strange thing happened to you.

倒要歡喜；因為你們是與基督一同受苦，使你們在他榮耀顯現的時候，也可以歡喜快樂。

dǎo yào huān xǐ ； yīn wèi nǐ men shì yǔ jī dū yì tóng shòu kǔ ， shǐ nǐ men zài tā róng yào xiǎn xiàn de shí hòu ， yě kě yǐ huān xǐ kuài lè 。

But because you are partakers of Christ’s sufferings, rejoice, that at the revelation of his glory you also may rejoice with exceeding joy.

你們若為基督的名受辱罵，便是有福的；因為上帝榮耀的靈常住在你們身上。

nǐ men ruò wèi jī dū de míng shòu rǔ mà ， biàn shì yǒu fú de ； yīn wèi shén róng yào de líng cháng zhù zài nǐ men shēn shàng 。

If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you. On their part he is blasphemed, but on your part he is glorified.

你們中間卻不可有人因為殺人、偷竊、作惡、好管閒事而受苦。

nǐ men zhōng jiān què bù kě yǒu rén yīn wèi shā rén 、 tōu qiè 、 zuò è 、 hǎo guǎn xián shì ér shòu kǔ 。

But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or a thief, or an evil doer, or a meddler in other men’s matters.

若為作基督徒受苦，卻不要羞恥，倒要因這名歸榮耀給上帝。

ruò wèi zuò jī dū tú shòu kǔ ， què bú yào xiū chǐ ， dǎo yào yīn zhè míng guī róng yào gěi shén 。

But if one of you suffers for being a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God in this matter.

因為時候到了，審判要從上帝的家起首。若是先從我們起首，那不信從上帝福音的人將有何等的結局呢？

yīn wèi shí hòu dào le ， shěn pàn yào cóng shén de jiā qǐ shǒu 。 ruò shì xiān cóng wǒ men qǐ shǒu ， nà bú xìn cóng shén fú yīn de rén jiāng yǒu hé děng de jié jú ne ？

For the time has come for judgment to begin with the household of God. If it begins first with us, what will happen to those who don’t obey the Good News of God?

若是義人僅僅得救，那不虔敬和犯罪的人將有何地可站呢？

ruò shì yì rén jǐn jǐn dé jiù ， nà bù qián jìng hé fàn zuì de rén jiāng yǒu hé dì kě zhàn ne ？

“If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will happen to the ungodly and the sinner?”

所以，那照上帝旨意受苦的人要一心為善，將自己靈魂交與那信實的造化之主。

suǒ yǐ ， nà zhào shén zhǐ yì shòu kǔ de rén yào yì xīn wèi shàn ， jiāng zì jǐ líng hún jiāo yǔ nà xìn shí de zào huà zhī zhǔ 。

Therefore let them also who suffer according to the will of God in doing good entrust their souls to him, as to a faithful Creator.
