wǒ men jì rán méng lián mǐn , shòu le zhè zhí fēn , jiù bú sàng dǎn ,
Therefore, seeing we have this ministry, even as we obtained mercy, we don’t faint.
nǎi jiāng nà xiē àn mèi kě chǐ de shì qì jué le ; bù xíng guǐ zhà , bú miù jiǎng shén de dào lǐ , zhī jiāng zhēn lǐ biǎo míng chū lái , hǎo zài shén miàn qián bǎ zì jǐ jiàn yǔ gè rén de liáng xīn 。
But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by the manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.
rú guǒ wǒ men de fú yīn méng bì , jiù shì méng bì zài miè wáng de rén shēn shàng 。
Even if our Good News is veiled, it is veiled in those who are dying,
cǐ děng bú xìn zhī rén bèi zhè shì jiè de shén nòng xiā le xīn yǎn , bú jiào jī dū róng yào fú yīn de guāng zhào zhe tā men 。 jī dū běn shì shén de xiàng 。
in whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them.
wǒ men yuán bú shì chuán zì jǐ , nǎi shì chuán jī dū yē sū wéi zhǔ , bìng qiě zì jǐ yīn yē sū zuò nǐ men de pú rén 。
For we don’t preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake,
nà fēn fù guāng cóng hēi àn lǐ zhào chū lái de shén , yǐ jīng zhào zài wǒ men xīn lǐ , jiào wǒ men dé zhī shén róng yào de guāng xiǎn zài yē sū jī dū de miàn shàng 。
seeing it is God who said, “Light will shine out of darkness,” who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
wǒ men yǒu zhè bǎo bèi fàng zài wǎ qì lǐ , yào xiǎn míng zhè mò dà de néng lì shì chū yú shén , bú shì chū yú wǒ men 。
But we have this treasure in clay vessels, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be of God and not from ourselves.
我們四面受敵,卻不被困住;心裏作難,卻不致失望;
wǒ men sì miàn shòu dí , què bú bèi kùn zhù ; xīn lǐ zuò nán , què bú zhì shī wàng ;
We are pressed on every side, yet not crushed; perplexed, yet not to despair;
zāo bī pò , què bú bèi diū qì ; dǎ dǎo le , què bú zhì sǐ wáng 。
pursued, yet not forsaken; struck down, yet not destroyed;
shēn shàng cháng dài zhe yē sū de sǐ , shǐ yē sū de shēng yě xiǎn míng zài wǒ men shēn shàng 。
always carrying in the body the putting to death of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.
yīn wèi wǒ men zhè huó zhe de rén shì cháng wèi yē sū bèi jiāo yú sǐ dì , shǐ yē sū de shēng zài wǒ men zhè bì sǐ de shēn shàng xiǎn míng chū lái 。
For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus may be revealed in our mortal flesh.
zhè yàng kàn lái , sǐ shì zài wǒ men shēn shàng fā dòng , shēng què zài nǐ men shēn shàng fā dòng 。
So then death works in us, but life in you.
dàn wǒ men jì yǒu xìn xīn , zhèng rú jīng shàng jì zhe shuō :「 wǒ yīn xìn , suǒ yǐ rú cǐ shuō huà 。」 wǒ men yě xìn , suǒ yǐ yě shuō huà 。
But having the same spirit of faith, according to that which is written, “I believed, and therefore I spoke.” We also believe, and therefore we also speak,
zì jǐ zhī dào nà jiào zhǔ yē sū fù huó de , yě bì jiào wǒ men yǔ yē sū yì tóng fù huó , bìng qiě jiào wǒ men yǔ nǐ men yì tóng zhàn zài tā miàn qián 。
knowing that he who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus, and will present us with you.
fán shì dōu shì wèi nǐ men , hǎo jiào ēn huì yīn rén duō yuè fā jiā zēng , gǎn xiè gé wài xiǎn duō , yǐ zhì róng yào guī yǔ shén 。
For all things are for your sakes, that the grace, being multiplied through the many, may cause the thanksgiving to abound to the glory of God.
suǒ yǐ , wǒ men bú sàng dǎn 。 wài tǐ suī rán huǐ huài , nèi xīn què yì tiān xīn sì yì tiān 。
Therefore we don’t faint, but though our outward person is decaying, yet our inward person is renewed day by day.
wǒ men zhè zhì zàn zhì qīng de kǔ chǔ , yào wèi wǒ men chéng jiù jí zhòng wú bǐ 、 yǒng yuǎn de róng yào 。
For our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory,
yuán lái wǒ men bú shì gù niàn suǒ jiàn de , nǎi shì gù niàn suǒ bú jiàn de ; yīn wèi suǒ jiàn de shì zàn shí de , suǒ bú jiàn de shì yǒng yuǎn de 。
while we don’t look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
