那時，希西家病得要死。亞摩斯的兒子先知以賽亞去見他，對他說：「耶和華如此說：『你當留遺命與你的家，因為你必死，不能活了。』」

nà shí ， xī xī jiā bìng dé yào sǐ 。 yà mó sī de ér zi xiān zhī yǐ sài yà qù jiàn tā ， duì tā shuō ：「 yē hé huá rú cǐ shuō ：『 nǐ dāng liú yí mìng yǔ nǐ de jiā ， yīn wèi nǐ bì sǐ ， bù néng huó le 。』」

In those days Hezekiah was sick and dying. Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came to him, and said to him, “The LORD says, ‘Set your house in order; for you will die, and not live.’”

希西家就轉臉朝牆，禱告耶和華說：

xī xī jiā jiù zhuǎn liǎn cháo qiáng ， dǎo gào yē hé huá shuō ：

Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed to the LORD, saying,

「耶和華啊，求你記念我在你面前怎樣存完全的心，按誠實行事，又做你眼中所看為善的。」希西家就痛哭了。

「 yē hé huá a ， qiú nǐ jì niàn wǒ zài nǐ miàn qián zěn yàng cún wán quán de xīn ， àn chéng shí xíng shì ， yòu zuò nǐ yǎn zhōng suǒ kàn wèi shàn de 。」 xī xī jiā jiù tòng kū le 。

“Remember now, LORD, I beg you, how I have walked before you in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in your sight.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly.

以賽亞出來，還沒有到中院 ，耶和華的話就臨到他，說：

yǐ sài yà chū lái ， hái méi yǒu dào zhōng yuàn ， yē hé huá de huà jiù lín dào tā ， shuō ：

Before Isaiah had gone out into the middle part of the city, the LORD’s word came to him, saying,

「你回去告訴我民的君希西家說：耶和華－你祖大衛的上帝如此說：『我聽見了你的禱告，看見了你的眼淚，我必醫治你；到第三日，你必上到耶和華的殿。

「 nǐ huí qù gào sù wǒ mín de jūn xī xī jiā shuō ： yē hé huá — nǐ zǔ dà wèi de shén rú cǐ shuō ：『 wǒ tīng jiàn le nǐ de dǎo gào ， kàn jiàn le nǐ de yǎn lèi ， wǒ bì yī zhì nǐ ； dào dì sān rì ， nǐ bì shàng dào yē hé huá de diàn 。

“Turn back, and tell Hezekiah the prince of my people, ‘The LORD, the God of David your father, says, “I have heard your prayer. I have seen your tears. Behold, I will heal you. On the third day, you will go up to the LORD’s house.

我必加增你十五年的壽數，並且我要救你和這城脫離亞述王的手。我為自己和我僕人大衛的緣故，必保護這城。』」

wǒ bì jiā zēng nǐ shí wǔ nián de shòu shù ， bìng qiě wǒ yào jiù nǐ hé zhè chéng tuō lí yà shù wáng de shǒu 。 wǒ wèi zì jǐ hé wǒ pú rén dà wèi de yuán gù ， bì bǎo hù zhè chéng 。』」

I will add to your days fifteen years. I will deliver you and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria. I will defend this city for my own sake, and for my servant David’s sake.”’”

以賽亞說：「當取一塊無花果餅來。」人就取了來，貼在瘡上，王便痊癒了。

yǐ sài yà shuō ：「 dāng qǔ yí kuài wú huā guǒ bǐng lái 。」 rén jiù qǔ le lái ， tiē zài chuāng shàng ， wáng biàn quán yù le 。

Isaiah said, “Take a cake of figs.” They took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered.

希西家問以賽亞說：「耶和華必醫治我，到第三日，我能上耶和華的殿，有甚麼兆頭呢？」

xī xī jiā wèn yǐ sài yà shuō ：「 yē hé huá bì yī zhì wǒ ， dào dì sān rì ， wǒ néng shàng yē hé huá de diàn ， yǒu shén me zhào tou ne ？」

Hezekiah said to Isaiah, “What will be the sign that the LORD will heal me, and that I will go up to the LORD’s house the third day?”

以賽亞說：「耶和華必成就他所說的。這是他給你的兆頭：你要日影向前進十度呢？是要往後退十度呢？」

yǐ sài yà shuō ：「 yē hé huá bì chéng jiù tā suǒ shuō de 。 zhè shì tā gěi nǐ de zhào tou ： nǐ yào rì yǐng xiàng qián jìn shí dù ne ？ shì yào wǎng hòu tuì shí dù ne ？」

Isaiah said, “This will be the sign to you from the LORD, that the LORD will do the thing that he has spoken: should the shadow go forward ten steps, or go back ten steps?”

希西家回答說：「日影向前進十度容易，我要日影往後退十度。」

xī xī jiā huí dá shuō ：「 rì yǐng xiàng qián jìn shí dù róng yì ， wǒ yào rì yǐng wǎng hòu tuì shí dù 。」

Hezekiah answered, “It is a light thing for the shadow to go forward ten steps. No, but let the shadow return backward ten steps.”

先知以賽亞求告耶和華，耶和華就使亞哈斯的日晷向前進的日影，往後退了十度。

xiān zhī yǐ sài yà qiú gào yē hé huá ， yē hé huá jiù shǐ yà hā sī de rì guǐ xiàng qián jìn de rì yǐng ， wǎng hòu tuì le shí dù 。

Isaiah the prophet cried to the LORD; and he brought the shadow ten steps backward, by which it had gone down on the sundial of Ahaz.

那時，巴比倫王巴拉但的兒子米羅達‧巴拉但聽見希西家病而痊癒，就送書信和禮物給他。

nà shí ， bā bǐ lún wáng bā lā dàn de ér zi mǐ luó dá · bā lā dàn tīng jiàn xī xī jiā bìng ér quán yù ， jiù sòng shū xìn hé lǐ wù gěi tā 。

At that time Berodach Baladan the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present to Hezekiah, for he had heard that Hezekiah had been sick.

希西家聽從使者的話，就把他寶庫的金子、銀子、香料、貴重的膏油，和他武庫的一切軍器，並他所有的財寶，都給他們看。他家中和他全國之內，希西家沒有一樣不給他們看的。

xī xī jiā tīng cóng shǐ zhě de huà ， jiù bǎ tā bǎo kù de jīn zǐ 、 yín zi 、 xiāng liào 、 guì zhòng de gāo yóu ， hé tā wǔ kù de yí qiè jūn qì ， bìng tā suǒ yǒu de cái bǎo ， dōu gěi tā men kàn 。 tā jiā zhōng hé tā quán guó zhī nèi ， xī xī jiā méi yǒu yí yàng bù gěi tā men kàn de 。

Hezekiah listened to them, and showed them all the storehouse of his precious things—the silver, the gold, the spices, and the precious oil, and the house of his armor, and all that was found in his treasures. There was nothing in his house, or in all his dominion, that Hezekiah didn’t show them.

於是先知以賽亞來見希西家王，問他說：「這些人說甚麼？他們從哪裏來見你？」希西家說：「他們從遠方的巴比倫來。」

yú shì xiān zhī yǐ sài yà lái jiàn xī xī jiā wáng ， wèn tā shuō ：「 zhè xiē rén shuō shén me ？ tā men cóng nǎ lǐ lái jiàn nǐ ？」 xī xī jiā shuō ：「 tā men cóng yuǎn fāng de bā bǐ lún lái 。」

Then Isaiah the prophet came to King Hezekiah, and said to him, “What did these men say? From where did they come to you?” Hezekiah said, “They have come from a far country, even from Babylon.”

以賽亞說：「他們在你家裏看見了甚麼？」希西家說：「凡我家中所有的，他們都看見了；我財寶中沒有一樣不給他們看的。」

yǐ sài yà shuō ：「 tā men zài nǐ jiā lǐ kàn jiàn le shén me ？」 xī xī jiā shuō ：「 fán wǒ jiā zhōng suǒ yǒu de ， tā men dōu kàn jiàn le ； wǒ cái bǎo zhōng méi yǒu yí yàng bù gěi tā men kàn de 。」

He said, “What have they seen in your house?” Hezekiah answered, “They have seen all that is in my house. There is nothing among my treasures that I have not shown them.”

以賽亞對希西家說：「你要聽耶和華的話，

yǐ sài yà duì xī xī jiā shuō ：「 nǐ yào tīng yē hé huá de huà ，

Isaiah said to Hezekiah, “Hear the LORD’s word.

日子必到，凡你家裏所有的，並你列祖積蓄到如今的，都要被擄到巴比倫去，不留下一樣。這是耶和華說的。

rì zǐ bì dào ， fán nǐ jiā lǐ suǒ yǒu de ， bìng nǐ liè zǔ jī xù dào rú jīn de ， dōu yào bèi lǔ dào bā bǐ lún qù ， bù liú xià yí yàng 。 zhè shì yē hé huá shuō de 。

‘Behold, the days come that all that is in your house, and that which your fathers have laid up in store to this day, will be carried to Babylon. Nothing will be left,’ says the LORD.

並且從你本身所生的眾子，其中必有被擄去在巴比倫王宮裏當太監的。」

bìng qiě cóng nǐ běn shēn suǒ shēng de zhòng zǐ ， qí zhōng bì yǒu bèi lǔ qù zài bā bǐ lún wáng gōng lǐ dāng tài jian de 。」

‘They will take away some of your sons who will issue from you, whom you will father; and they will be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.’”

希西家對以賽亞說：「你所說耶和華的話甚好！若在我的年日中有太平和穩固的景況，豈不是好嗎？」

xī xī jiā duì yǐ sài yà shuō ：「 nǐ suǒ shuō yē hé huá de huà shèn hǎo ！ ruò zài wǒ de nián rì zhōng yǒu tài píng hé wěn gù de jǐng kuàng ， qǐ bú shì hǎo ma ？」

Then Hezekiah said to Isaiah, “The LORD’s word which you have spoken is good.” He said moreover, “Isn’t it so, if peace and truth will be in my days?”

希西家其餘的事和他的勇力，他怎樣挖池、挖溝、引水入城，都寫在猶大列王記上。

xī xī jiā qí yú de shì hé tā de yǒng lì ， tā zěn yàng wā chí 、 wā gōu 、 yǐn shuǐ rù chéng ， dōu xiě zài yóu dà liè wáng jì shàng 。

Now the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and all his might, and how he made the pool, and the conduit, and brought water into the city, aren’t they written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

希西家與他列祖同睡。他兒子瑪拿西接續他作王。

xī xī jiā yǔ tā liè zǔ tóng shuì 。 tā ér zi mǎ ná xī jiē xù tā zuò wáng 。

Hezekiah slept with his fathers, and Manasseh his son reigned in his place.
