先知以利沙叫了一個先知門徒來，吩咐他說：「你束上腰，手拿這瓶膏油往基列的拉末去。

xiān zhī yǐ lì shā jiào le yí gè xiān zhī mén tú lái ， fēn fù tā shuō ：「 nǐ shù shàng yāo ， shǒu ná zhè píng gāo yóu wǎng jī liè de lā mò qù 。

Elisha the prophet called one of the sons of the prophets, and said to him, “Put your belt on your waist, take this vial of oil in your hand, and go to Ramoth Gilead.

到了那裏，要尋找寧示的孫子、約沙法的兒子耶戶，使他從同僚中起來，帶他進嚴密的屋子，

dào le nà lǐ ， yào xún zhǎo níng shì de sūn zi 、 yuē shā fǎ de ér zi yē hù ， shǐ tā cóng tóng liáo zhōng qǐ lái ， dài tā jìn yán mì de wū zi ，

When you come there, find Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi, and go in and make him rise up from among his brothers, and take him to an inner room.

將瓶裏的膏油倒在他頭上，說：『耶和華如此說：我膏你作以色列王。』說完了，就開門逃跑，不要遲延。」

jiāng píng lǐ de gāo yóu dǎo zài tā tóu shàng ， shuō ：『 yē hé huá rú cǐ shuō ： wǒ gāo nǐ zuò yǐ sè liè wáng 。』 shuō wán le ， jiù kāi mén táo pǎo ， bú yào chí yán 。」

Then take the vial of oil, and pour it on his head, and say, ‘The LORD says, “I have anointed you king over Israel.”’ Then open the door, flee, and don’t wait.”

於是那少年先知往基列的拉末去了。

yú shì nà shào nián xiān zhī wǎng jī liè de lā mò qù le 。

So the young man, the young prophet, went to Ramoth Gilead.

到了那裏，看見眾軍長都坐着，就說：「將軍哪，我有話對你說。」耶戶說：「我們眾人裏，你要對哪一個說呢？」回答說：「將軍哪，我要對你說。」

dào le nà lǐ ， kàn jiàn zhòng jūn zhǎng dōu zuò zhe ， jiù shuō ：「 jiāng jūn nǎ ， wǒ yǒu huà duì nǐ shuō 。」 yē hù shuō ：「 wǒ men zhòng rén lǐ ， nǐ yào duì nǎ yí gè shuō ne ？」 huí dá shuō ：「 jiāng jūn nǎ ， wǒ yào duì nǐ shuō 。」

When he came, behold, the captains of the army were sitting. Then he said, “I have a message for you, captain.” Jehu said, “To which one of us?” He said, “To you, O captain.”

耶戶就起來，進了屋子，少年人將膏油倒在他頭上，對他說：「耶和華－以色列的上帝如此說：『我膏你作耶和華民以色列的王。

yē hù jiù qǐ lái ， jìn le wū zǐ ， shào nián rén jiāng gāo yóu dǎo zài tā tóu shàng ， duì tā shuō ：「 yē hé huá — yǐ sè liè de shén rú cǐ shuō ：『 wǒ gāo nǐ zuò yē hé huá mín yǐ sè liè de wáng 。

He arose, and went into the house. Then he poured the oil on his head, and said to him, “The LORD, the God of Israel, says, ‘I have anointed you king over the people of the LORD, even over Israel.

你要擊殺你主人亞哈的全家，我好在耶洗別身上伸我僕人眾先知和耶和華一切僕人流血的冤。

nǐ yào jī shā nǐ zhǔ rén yà hā de quán jiā ， wǒ hǎo zài yē xǐ bié shēn shàng shēn wǒ pú rén zhòng xiān zhī hé yē hé huá yí qiè pú rén liú xuè de yuān 。

You must strike your master Ahab’s house, that I may avenge the blood of my servants the prophets, and the blood of all the servants of the LORD, at the hand of Jezebel.

亞哈全家必都滅亡，凡屬亞哈的男丁，無論是困住的、自由的，我必從以色列中剪除，

yà hā quán jiā bì dōu miè wáng ， fán shǔ yà hā de nán dīng ， wú lùn shì kùn zhù de 、 zì yóu de ， wǒ bì cóng yǐ sè liè zhōng jiǎn chú ，

For the whole house of Ahab will perish. I will cut off from Ahab everyone who urinates against a wall, both him who is shut up and him who is left at large in Israel.

使亞哈的家像尼八兒子耶羅波安的家，又像亞希雅兒子巴沙的家。

shǐ yà hā de jiā xiàng ní bā ér zi yē luó bō ān de jiā ， yòu xiàng yà xī yǎ ér zi bā shā de jiā 。

I will make Ahab’s house like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah.

耶洗別必在耶斯列田裏被狗所吃，無人葬埋。』」說完了，少年人就開門逃跑了。

yē xǐ bié bì zài yē sī liè tián lǐ bèi gǒu suǒ chī ， wú rén zàng mái 。』」 shuō wán le ， shào nián rén jiù kāi mén táo pǎo le 。

The dogs will eat Jezebel on the plot of ground of Jezreel, and there shall be no one to bury her.’” Then he opened the door and fled.

耶戶出來，回到他主人的臣僕那裏，有一人問他說：「平安嗎？這狂妄的人來見你有甚麼事呢？」回答說：「你們認得那人，也知道他說甚麼。」

yē hù chū lái ， huí dào tā zhǔ rén de chén pú nà lǐ ， yǒu yì rén wèn tā shuō ：「 píng ān ma ？ zhè kuáng wàng de rén lái jiàn nǐ yǒu shén me shì ne ？」 huí dá shuō ：「 nǐ men rèn de nà rén ， yě zhī dào tā shuō shén me 。」

When Jehu came out to the servants of his lord and one said to him, “Is all well? Why did this madman come to you?” He said to them, “You know the man and how he talks.”

他們說：「這是假話，你據實地告訴我們。」回答說：「他如此如此對我說。他說：『耶和華如此說：我膏你作以色列王。』」

tā men shuō ：「 zhè shì jiǎ huà ， nǐ jù shí dì gào sù wǒ men 。」 huí dá shuō ：「 tā rú cǐ rú cǐ duì wǒ shuō 。 tā shuō ：『 yē hé huá rú cǐ shuō ： wǒ gāo nǐ zuò yǐ sè liè wáng 。』」

They said, “That is a lie. Tell us now.” He said, “He said to me, ‘The LORD says, I have anointed you king over Israel.’”

他們就急忙各將自己的衣服鋪在上層臺階，使耶戶坐在其上；他們吹角，說：「耶戶作王了！」

tā men jiù jí máng gè jiāng zì jǐ de yī fu pù zài shàng céng tái jiē ， shǐ yē hù zuò zài qí shàng ； tā men chuī jiǎo ， shuō ：「 yē hù zuò wáng le ！」

Then they hurried, and each man took his cloak, and put it under him on the top of the stairs, and blew the trumpet, saying, “Jehu is king.”

這樣，寧示的孫子、約沙法的兒子耶戶背叛約蘭。先是約蘭和以色列眾人因為亞蘭王哈薛的緣故，把守基列的拉末；

zhè yàng ， níng shì de sūn zi 、 yuē shā fǎ de ér zi yē hù bèi pàn yuē lán 。 xiān shì yuē lán hé yǐ sè liè zhòng rén yīn wèi yà lán wáng hā xuē de yuán gù ， bǎ shǒu jī liè de lā mò ；

So Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi conspired against Joram. (Now Joram was defending Ramoth Gilead, he and all Israel, because of Hazael king of Syria;

但約蘭王回到耶斯列，醫治與亞蘭王哈薛打仗所受的傷。耶戶說：「若合你們的意思，就不容人逃出城往耶斯列報信去。」

dàn yuē lán wáng huí dào yē sī liè ， yī zhì yǔ yà lán wáng hā xuē dǎ zhàng suǒ shòu de shāng 。 yē hù shuō ：「 ruò hé nǐ men de yì sī ， jiù bù róng rén táo chū chéng wǎng yē sī liè bào xìn qù 。」

but King Joram had returned to be healed in Jezreel of the wounds which the Syrians had given him when he fought with Hazael king of Syria.) Jehu said, “If this is your thinking, then let no one escape and go out of the city to go to tell it in Jezreel.”

於是耶戶坐車往耶斯列去，因為約蘭病臥在那裏。猶大王亞哈謝已經下去看望他。

yú shì yē hù zuò chē wǎng yē sī liè qù ， yīn wèi yuē lán bìng wò zài nà lǐ 。 yóu dà wáng yà hā xiè yǐ jīng xià qù kàn wàng tā 。

So Jehu rode in a chariot and went to Jezreel, for Joram lay there. Ahaziah king of Judah had come down to see Joram.

有一個守望的人站在耶斯列的樓上，看見耶戶帶着一群人來，就說：「我看見一群人。」約蘭說：「打發一個騎馬的去迎接他們，問說：平安不平安？」

yǒu yí gè shǒu wàng de rén zhàn zài yē sī liè de lóu shàng ， kàn jiàn yē hù dài zhe yì qún rén lái ， jiù shuō ：「 wǒ kàn jiàn yì qún rén 。」 yuē lán shuō ：「 dǎ fā yí gè qí mǎ de qù yíng jiē tā men ， wèn shuō ： píng ān bù píng ān ？」

Now the watchman was standing on the tower in Jezreel, and he spied the company of Jehu as he came, and said, “I see a company.” Joram said, “Take a horseman, and send to meet them, and let him say, ‘Is it peace?’”

騎馬的就去迎接耶戶，說：「王問說，平安不平安？」耶戶說：「平安不平安與你何干？你轉在我後頭吧！」守望的人又說：「使者到了他們那裏，卻不回來。」

qí mǎ de jiù qù yíng jiē yē hù ， shuō ：「 wáng wèn shuō ， píng ān bù píng ān ？」 yē hù shuō ：「 píng ān bù píng ān yǔ nǐ hé gān ？ nǐ zhuǎn zài wǒ hòu tou ba ！」 shǒu wàng de rén yòu shuō ：「 shǐ zhě dào le tā men nà lǐ ， què bù huí lái 。」

So one went on horseback to meet him, and said, “the king says, ‘Is it peace?’” Jehu said, “What do you have to do with peace? Fall in behind me!” The watchman said, “The messenger came to them, but he isn’t coming back.”

王又打發一個騎馬的去。這人到了他們那裏，說：「王問說，平安不平安？」耶戶說：「平安不平安與你何干？你轉在我後頭吧！」

wáng yòu dǎ fā yí gè qí mǎ de qù 。 zhè rén dào le tā men nà lǐ ， shuō ：「 wáng wèn shuō ， píng ān bù píng ān ？」 yē hù shuō ：「 píng ān bù píng ān yǔ nǐ hé gān ？ nǐ zhuǎn zài wǒ hòu tou ba ！」

Then he sent out a second on horseback, who came to them and said, “The king says, ‘Is it peace?’” Jehu answered, “What do you have to do with peace? Fall in behind me!”

守望的人又說：「他到了他們那裏，也不回來；車趕得甚猛，像寧示的孫子耶戶的趕法。」

shǒu wàng de rén yòu shuō ：「 tā dào le tā men nà lǐ ， yě bù huí lái ； chē gǎn dé shèn měng ， xiàng níng shì de sūn zi yē hù de gǎn fǎ 。」

The watchman said, “He came to them, and isn’t coming back. The driving is like the driving of Jehu the son of Nimshi, for he drives furiously.”

約蘭吩咐說：「套車！」人就給他套車。以色列王約蘭和猶大王亞哈謝各坐自己的車出去迎接耶戶，在耶斯列人拿伯的田那裏遇見他。

yuē lán fēn fù shuō ：「 tào chē ！」 rén jiù gěi tā tào chē 。 yǐ sè liè wáng yuē lán hé yóu dà wáng yà hā xiè gè zuò zì jǐ de chē chū qù yíng jiē yē hù ， zài yē sī liè rén ná bó de tián nà lǐ yù jiàn tā 。

Joram said, “Get ready!” They got his chariot ready. Then Joram king of Israel and Ahaziah king of Judah went out, each in his chariot; and they went out to meet Jehu, and found him on Naboth the Jezreelite’s land.

約蘭見耶戶就說：「耶戶啊，平安嗎？」耶戶說：「你母親耶洗別的淫行邪術這樣多，焉能平安呢？」

yuē lán jiàn yē hù jiù shuō ：「 yē hù a ， píng ān ma ？」 yē hù shuō ：「 nǐ mǔ qīn yē xǐ bié de yín xíng xié shù zhè yàng duō ， yān néng píng ān ne ？」

When Joram saw Jehu, he said, “Is it peace, Jehu?” He answered, “What peace, so long as the prostitution of your mother Jezebel and her witchcraft abound?”

約蘭就轉車逃跑，對亞哈謝說：「亞哈謝啊，反了！」

yuē lán jiù zhuǎn chē táo pǎo ， duì yà hā xiè shuō ：「 yà hā xiè a ， fǎn le ！」

Joram turned his hands and fled, and said to Ahaziah, “This is treason, Ahaziah!”

耶戶開滿了弓，射中約蘭的脊背，箭從心窩穿出，約蘭就仆倒在車上。

yē hù kāi mǎn le gōng ， shè zhōng yuē lán de jǐ bèi ， jiàn cóng xīn wō chuān chū ， yuē lán jiù pú dǎo zài chē shàng 。

Jehu drew his bow with his full strength, and struck Joram between his arms; and the arrow went out at his heart, and he sunk down in his chariot.

耶戶對他的軍長畢甲說：「你把他拋在耶斯列人拿伯的田間。你當追想，你我一同坐車跟隨他父亞哈的時候，耶和華對亞哈所說的預言，

yē hù duì tā de jūn zhǎng bì jiǎ shuō ：「 nǐ bǎ tā pāo zài yē sī liè rén ná bó de tián jiān 。 nǐ dāng zhuī xiǎng ， nǐ wǒ yì tóng zuò chē gēn suí tā fù yà hā de shí hòu ， yē hé huá duì yà hā suǒ shuō de yù yán ，

Then Jehu said to Bidkar his captain, “Pick him up, and throw him in the plot of the field of Naboth the Jezreelite; for remember how, when you and I rode together after Ahab his father, the LORD laid this burden on him:

說：『我昨日看見拿伯的血和他眾子的血，我必在這塊田上報應你。』這是耶和華說的，現在你要照着耶和華的話，把他拋在這田間。」

shuō ：『 wǒ zuó rì kàn jiàn ná bó de xuè hé tā zhòng zǐ de xuè ， wǒ bì zài zhè kuài tián shàng bào yìng nǐ 。』 zhè shì yē hé huá shuō de ， xiàn zài nǐ yào zhào zhe yē hé huá de huà ， bǎ tā pāo zài zhè tián jiān 。」

‘Surely I have seen yesterday the blood of Naboth, and the blood of his sons,’ says the LORD; ‘and I will repay you in this plot of ground,’ says the LORD. Now therefore take and cast him onto the plot of ground, according to the LORD’s word.”

猶大王亞哈謝見這光景，就從園亭之路逃跑。耶戶追趕他，說：「把這人也殺在車上。」到了靠近以伯蓮的姑珥坡上擊傷了他。他逃到米吉多，就死在那裏。

yóu dà wáng yà hā xiè jiàn zhè guāng jǐng ， jiù cóng yuán tíng zhī lù táo pǎo 。 yē hù zhuī gǎn tā ， shuō ：「 bǎ zhè rén yě shā zài chē shàng 。」 dào le kào jìn yǐ bó lián gū ěr de pō shàng jī shāng le tā 。 tā táo dào mǐ jí duō ， jiù sǐ zài nà lǐ 。

But when Ahaziah the king of Judah saw this, he fled by the way of the garden house. Jehu followed after him, and said, “Strike him also in the chariot!” They struck him at the ascent of Gur, which is by Ibleam. He fled to Megiddo, and died there.

他的臣僕用車將他的屍首送到耶路撒冷，葬在大衛城他自己的墳墓裏，與他列祖同葬。

tā de chén pú yòng chē jiāng tā de shī shǒu sòng dào yē lù sā lěng ， zàng zài dà wèi chéng tā zì jǐ de fén mù lǐ ， yǔ tā liè zǔ tóng zàng 。

His servants carried him in a chariot to Jerusalem, and buried him in his tomb with his fathers in David’s city.

亞哈謝登基作猶大王的時候，是在亞哈的兒子約蘭第十一年。

yà hā xiè dēng jī zuò yóu dà wáng de shí hòu ， shì zài yà hā de ér zi yuē lán dì shí yī nián 。

In the eleventh year of Joram the son of Ahab, Ahaziah began to reign over Judah.

耶戶到了耶斯列；耶洗別聽見就擦粉、梳頭，從窗戶裏往外觀看。

yē hù dào le yē sī liè ； yē xǐ bié tīng jiàn jiù cā fěn 、 shū tóu ， cóng chuāng hù lǐ wǎng wài guān kàn 。

When Jehu had come to Jezreel, Jezebel heard of it; and she painted her eyes, and adorned her head, and looked out at the window.

耶戶進門的時候，耶洗別說：「殺主人的心利啊，平安嗎？」

yē hù jìn mén de shí hòu ， yē xǐ bié shuō ：「 shā zhǔ rén de xīn lì a ， píng ān ma ？」

As Jehu entered in at the gate, she said, “Do you come in peace, Zimri, you murderer of your master?”

耶戶抬頭向窗戶觀看，說：「誰順從我？」有兩三個太監從窗戶往外看他。

yē hù tái tóu xiàng chuāng hù guān kàn ， shuō ：「 shuí shùn cóng wǒ ？」 yǒu liǎng sān gè tài jian cóng chuāng hù wǎng wài kàn tā 。

He lifted up his face to the window, and said, “Who is on my side? Who?” Two or three eunuchs looked out at him.

耶戶說：「把她扔下來！」他們就把她扔下來。她的血濺在牆上和馬上；於是把她踐踏了。

yē hù shuō ：「 bǎ tā rēng xià lái ！」 tā men jiù bǎ tā rēng xià lái 。 tā de xuè jiàn zài qiáng shàng hé mǎ shàng ； yú shì bǎ tā jiàn tà le 。

He said, “Throw her down!” So they threw her down; and some of her blood was sprinkled on the wall, and on the horses. Then he trampled her under foot.

耶戶進去，吃了喝了，吩咐說：「你們把這被咒詛的婦人葬埋了，因為她是王的女兒。」

yē hù jìn qù ， chī le hē le ， fēn fù shuō ：「 nǐ men bǎ zhè bèi zhòu zǔ de fù rén zàng mái le ， yīn wèi tā shì wáng de nǚ ér 。」

When he had come in, he ate and drank. Then he said, “See now to this cursed woman, and bury her; for she is a king’s daughter.”

他們就去葬埋她，只尋得她的頭骨和腳，並手掌。

tā men jiù qù zàng mái tā ， zhī xún dé tā de tóu gǔ hé jiǎo ， bìng shǒu zhǎng 。

They went to bury her, but they found no more of her than the skull, the feet, and the palms of her hands.

他們回去告訴耶戶，耶戶說：「這正應驗耶和華藉他僕人提斯比人以利亞所說的話，說：『在耶斯列田間，狗必吃耶洗別的肉；

tā men huí qù gào sù yē hù ， yē hù shuō ：「 zhè zhèng yìng yàn yē hé huá jiè tā pú rén tí sī bǐ rén yǐ lì yà suǒ shuō de huà ， shuō ：『 zài yē sī liè tián jiān ， gǒu bì chī yē xǐ bié de ròu ；

Therefore they came back, and told him. He said, “This is the LORD’s word, which he spoke by his servant Elijah the Tishbite, saying, ‘The dogs will eat the flesh of Jezebel on the plot of Jezreel,

耶洗別的屍首必在耶斯列田間如同糞土，甚至人不能說這是耶洗別。』」

yē xǐ bié de shī shǒu bì zài yē sī liè tián jiān rú tóng fèn tǔ ， shèn zhì rén bù néng shuō zhè shì yē xǐ bié 。』」

and the body of Jezebel will be as dung on the surface of the field on Jezreel’s land, so that they won’t say, “This is Jezebel.”’”
