掃羅的兒子伊施波設聽見押尼珥死在希伯崙，手就發軟；以色列眾人也都驚惶。

sǎo luó de ér zi yī shī bō shè tīng jiàn yā ní ěr sǐ zài xī bó ， shǒu jiù fā ruǎn ； yǐ sè liè zhòng rén yě dōu jīng huáng 。

When Saul’s son heard that Abner was dead in Hebron, his hands became feeble, and all the Israelites were troubled.

掃羅的兒子伊施波設有兩個軍長，一名巴拿，一名利甲，是便雅憫支派、比錄人臨門的兒子。比錄也屬便雅憫。

sǎo luó de ér zi yī shī bō shè yǒu liǎng gè jūn zhǎng ， yì míng bā ná ， yì míng lì jiǎ ， shì biàn yǎ mǐn zhī pài 、 bǐ lù rén lín mén de ér zi 。 bǐ lù yě shǔ biàn yǎ mǐn 。

Saul’s son had two men who were captains of raiding bands. The name of one was Baanah and the name of the other Rechab, the sons of Rimmon the Beerothite, of the children of Benjamin (for Beeroth also is considered a part of Benjamin;

比錄人早先逃到基他音，在那裏寄居，直到今日。

bǐ lù rén zǎo xiān táo dào jī tā yīn ， zài nà lǐ jì jū ， zhí dào jīn rì 。

and the Beerothites fled to Gittaim, and have lived as foreigners there until today).

掃羅的兒子約拿單有一個兒子名叫米非波設，是瘸腿的。掃羅和約拿單死亡的消息從耶斯列傳到的時候，他才五歲。他乳母抱着他逃跑；因為跑得太急，孩子掉在地上，腿就瘸了。

sǎo luó de ér zǐ yuē ná dān yǒu yí gè ér zi míng jiào mǐ fēi bō shè ， shì qué tuǐ de 。 sǎo luó hé yuē ná dān sǐ wáng de xiāo xī cóng yē sī liè zhuàn dào de shí hòu ， tā cái wǔ suì 。 tā rǔ mǔ bào zhe tā táo pǎo ； yīn wèi pǎo dé tài jí ， hái zi diào zài dì shàng ， tuǐ jiù qué le 。

Now Jonathan, Saul’s son, had a son who was lame in his feet. He was five years old when the news came about Saul and Jonathan out of Jezreel; and his nurse picked him up and fled. As she hurried to flee, he fell and became lame. His name was Mephibosheth.

一日，比錄人臨門的兩個兒子利甲和巴拿出去，約在午熱的時候到了伊施波設的家；伊施波設正睡午覺。

yí rì ， bǐ lù rén lín mén de liǎng gè ér zi lì jiǎ hé bā ná chū qù ， yuē zài wǔ rè de shí hòu dào le yī shī bō shè de jiā ； yī shī bō shè zhèng shuì wǔ jiào 。

The sons of Rimmon the Beerothite, Rechab and Baanah, went out and came at about the heat of the day to the house of Ishbosheth as he took his rest at noon.

他們進了房子，假作要取麥子，就刺透伊施波設的肚腹，逃跑了。

tā men jìn le fáng zi ， jiǎ zuò yào qǔ mài zi ， jiù cì tòu yī shī bō shè de dù fù ， táo pǎo le 。

They came there into the middle of the house as though they would have fetched wheat, and they struck him in the body; and Rechab and Baanah his brother escaped.

他們進房子的時候，伊施波設正在臥房裏躺在床上，他們將他殺死，割了他的首級，拿着首級在亞拉巴走了一夜，

tā men jìn fáng zi de shí hòu ， yī shī bō shè zhèng zài wò fáng lǐ tǎng zài chuáng shàng ， tā men jiāng tā shā sǐ ， gē le tā de shǒu jí ， ná zhe shǒu jí zài yà lā bā zǒu le yí yè ，

Now when they came into the house as he lay on his bed in his bedroom, they struck him, killed him, beheaded him, and took his head, and went by the way of the Arabah all night.

將伊施波設的首級拿到希伯崙見大衛王，說：「王的仇敵掃羅曾尋索王的性命。看哪，這是他兒子伊施波設的首級；耶和華今日為我主我王在掃羅和他後裔的身上報了仇。」

jiāng yī shī bō shè de shǒu jí ná dào xī bó jiàn dà wèi wáng ， shuō ：「 wáng de chóu dí sǎo luó céng xún suǒ wáng de xìng mìng 。 kàn nǎ ， zhè shì tā ér zi yī shī bō shè de shǒu jí ； yē hé huá jīn rì wèi wǒ zhǔ wǒ wáng zài sǎo luó hé tā hòu yì de shēn shàng bào le chóu 。」

They brought the head of Ishbosheth to David to Hebron, and said to the king, “Behold, the head of Ishbosheth, the son of Saul, your enemy, who sought your life! The LORD has avenged my lord the king today of Saul and of his offspring. ”

大衛對比錄人臨門的兒子利甲和他兄弟巴拿說：「我指着救我性命脫離一切苦難、永生的耶和華起誓：

dà wèi duì bǐ lù rén lín mén de ér zi lì jiǎ hé tā xiōng dì bā ná shuō ：「 wǒ zhǐ zhe jiù wǒ xìng mìng tuō lí yí qiè kǔ nàn 、 yǒng shēng de yē hé huá qǐ shì ：

David answered Rechab and Baanah his brother, the sons of Rimmon the Beerothite, and said to them, “As the LORD lives, who has redeemed my soul out of all adversity,

從前有人報告我說，掃羅死了，他自以為報好消息；我就拿住他，將他殺在洗革拉，這就作了他報消息的賞賜。

cóng qián yǒu rén bào gào wǒ shuō ， sǎo luó sǐ le ， tā zì yǐ wéi bào hǎo xiāo xī ； wǒ jiù ná zhù tā ， jiāng tā shā zài xǐ gé lā ， zhè jiù zuò le tā bào xiāo xī de shǎng cì 。

when someone told me, ‘Behold, Saul is dead,’ thinking that he brought good news, I seized him and killed him in Ziklag, which was the reward I gave him for his news.

何況惡人將義人殺在他的床上，我豈不向你們討流他血的罪、從世上除滅你們呢？」

hé kuàng è rén jiāng yì rén shā zài tā de chuáng shàng ， wǒ qǐ bú xiàng nǐ men tǎo liú tā xuè de zuì 、 cóng shì shàng chú miè nǐ men ne ？」

How much more, when wicked men have slain a righteous person in his own house on his bed, should I not now require his blood from your hand, and rid the earth of you?”

於是大衛吩咐少年人將他們殺了，砍斷他們的手腳，掛在希伯崙的池旁，卻將伊施波設的首級葬在希伯崙押尼珥的墳墓裏。

yú shì dà wèi fēn fù shǎo nián rén jiāng tā men shā le ， kǎn duàn tā men de shǒu jiǎo ， guà zài xī bó de chí páng ， què jiāng yī shī bō shè de shǒu jí zàng zài xī bó 、 yā ní ěr de fén mù lǐ 。

David commanded his young men, and they killed them, cut off their hands and their feet, and hanged them up beside the pool in Hebron. But they took the head of Ishbosheth and buried it in Abner’s grave in Hebron.
