約翰三書 1

作長老的寫信給親愛的該猶，就是我誠心所愛的。

zuò zhǎng lǎo de xiě xìn gěi qīn ài de gāi yóu ， jiù shì wǒ chéng xīn suǒ ài de 。

The elder to Gaius the beloved, whom I love in truth.

親愛的兄弟啊，我願你凡事興盛，身體健壯，正如你的靈魂興盛一樣。

qīn ài de xiōng dì a ， wǒ yuàn nǐ fán shì xīng shèng ， shēn tǐ jiàn zhuàng ， zhèng rú nǐ de líng hún xīng shèng yí yàng 。

Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers.

有弟兄來證明你心裏存的真理，正如你按真理而行，我就甚喜樂。

yǒu dì xiong lái zhèng míng nǐ xīn lǐ cún de zhēn lǐ ， zhèng rú nǐ àn zhēn lǐ ér xíng ， wǒ jiù shèn xǐ lè 。

For I rejoiced greatly when brothers came and testified about your truth, even as you walk in truth.

我聽見我的兒女們按真理而行，我的喜樂就沒有比這個大的。

wǒ tīng jiàn wǒ de ér nǚ men àn zhēn lǐ ér xíng ， wǒ de xǐ lè jiù méi yǒu bǐ zhè ge dà de 。

I have no greater joy than this: to hear about my children walking in truth.

親愛的兄弟啊，凡你向作客旅之弟兄所行的都是忠心的。

qīn ài de xiōng dì a ， fán nǐ xiàng zuò kè lǚ zhī dì xiong suǒ xíng de dōu shì zhōng xīn de 。

Beloved, you do a faithful work in whatever you accomplish for those who are brothers and strangers.

他們在教會面前證明了你的愛；你若配得過上帝，幫助他們往前行，這就好了。

tā men zài jiào huì miàn qián zhèng míng le nǐ de ài ； nǐ ruò pèi dé guò shén ， bāng zhù tā men wǎng qián xíng ， zhè jiù hǎo le 。

They have testified about your love before the assembly. You will do well to send them forward on their journey in a way worthy of God,

因他們是為主的名 出外，對於外邦人一無所取。

yīn tā men shì wéi zhǔ de míng chū wài ， duì yú wài bāng rén yì wú suǒ qǔ 。

because for the sake of the Name they went out, taking nothing from the Gentiles.

所以我們應該接待這樣的人，叫我們與他們一同為真理做工。

suǒ yǐ wǒ men yīng gāi jiē dài zhè yàng de rén ， jiào wǒ men yǔ tā men yì tóng wèi zhēn lǐ zuò gōng 。

We therefore ought to receive such, that we may be fellow workers for the truth.

我曾略略地寫信給教會，但那在教會中好為首的丟特腓不接待我們。

wǒ céng lüè lüè dì xiě xìn gěi jiào huì ， dàn nà zài jiào huì zhōng hǎo wéi shǒu de diū tè féi bù jiē dài wǒ men 。

I wrote to the assembly, but Diotrephes, who loves to be first among them, doesn’t accept what we say.

所以我若去，必要提說他所行的事，就是他用惡言妄論我們。還不以此為足，他自己不接待弟兄，有人願意接待，他也禁止，並且將接待弟兄的人趕出教會。

suǒ yǐ wǒ ruò qù ， bì yào tí shuō tā suǒ xíng de shì ， jiù shì tā yòng è yán wàng lùn wǒ men 。 hái bù yǐ cǐ wèi zú ， tā zì jǐ bù jiē dài dì xiong ， yǒu rén yuàn yì jiē dài ， tā yě jìn zhǐ ， bìng qiě jiāng jiē dài dì xiong de rén gǎn chū jiào huì 。

Therefore, if I come, I will call attention to his deeds which he does, unjustly accusing us with wicked words. Not content with this, he doesn’t receive the brothers himself, and those who would, he forbids and throws out of the assembly.

親愛的兄弟啊，不要效法惡，只要效法善。行善的屬乎上帝；行惡的未曾見過上帝。

qīn ài de xiōng dì a ， bú yào xiào fǎ è ， zhǐ yào xiào fǎ shàn 。 xíng shàn de shǔ hū shén ； xíng è de wèi céng jiàn guò shén 。

Beloved, don’t imitate that which is evil, but that which is good. He who does good is of God. He who does evil hasn’t seen God.

低米丟行善，有眾人給他作見證，又有真理給他作見證，就是我們也給他作見證。你也知道我們的見證是真的。

dī mǐ diū xíng shàn ， yǒu zhòng rén gěi tā zuò jiàn zhèng ， yòu yǒu zhēn lǐ gěi tā zuò jiàn zhèng ， jiù shì wǒ men yě gěi tā zuò jiàn zhèng 。 nǐ yě zhī dào wǒ men de jiàn zhèng shì zhēn de 。

Demetrius has the testimony of all, and of the truth itself; yes, we also testify, and you know that our testimony is true.

我原有許多事要寫給你，卻不願意用筆墨寫給你，

wǒ yuán yǒu xǔ duō shì yào xiě gěi nǐ ， què bú yuàn yì yòng bǐ mò xiě gěi nǐ ，

I had many things to write to you, but I am unwilling to write to you with ink and pen;

但盼望快快地見你，我們就當面談論。

dàn pàn wàng kuài kuài dì jiàn nǐ ， wǒ men jiù dāng miàn tán lùn 。

but I hope to see you soon. Then we will speak face to face. Peace be to you. The friends greet you. Greet the friends by name.

願你平安。眾位朋友都問你安。請你替我按着姓名問眾位朋友安。

yuàn nǐ píng ān 。 zhòng wèi péng yǒu dōu wèn nǐ ān 。 qǐng nǐ tì wǒ àn zhe xìng míng wèn zhòng wèi péng yǒu ān 。
