使徒行傳 10

在凱撒利亞有一個人，名叫哥尼流，是「意大利營」的百夫長。

zài kǎi sā lì yà yǒu yí gè rén ， míng jiào gē ní liú ， shì 「 yì dà lì yíng 」 de bǎi fū zhǎng 。

Now there was a certain man in Caesarea, Cornelius by name, a centurion of what was called the Italian Regiment,

他是個虔誠人，他和全家都敬畏上帝，多多賙濟百姓，常常禱告上帝。

tā shì gè qián chéng rén ， tā hé quán jiā dōu jìng wèi shén ， duō duō zhōu jì bǎi xìng ， cháng cháng dǎo gào shén 。

a devout man, and one who feared God with all his house, who gave gifts for the needy generously to the people, and always prayed to God.

有一天，約在申初，他在異象中明明看見上帝的一個使者進去，到他那裏，說：「哥尼流。」

yǒu yì tiān ， yuē zài shēn chū ， tā zài yì xiàng zhōng míng míng kàn jiàn shén de yí gè shǐ zhě jìn qù ， dào tā nà lǐ ， shuō ：「 gē ní liú 。」

At about the ninth hour of the day, he clearly saw in a vision an angel of God coming to him and saying to him, “Cornelius!”

哥尼流定睛看他，驚怕說：「主啊，甚麼事呢？」天使說：「你的禱告和你的賙濟達到上帝面前，已蒙記念了。

gē ní liú dìng jīng kàn tā ， jīng pà shuō ：「 zhǔ a ， shén me shì ne ？」 tiān shǐ shuō ：「 nǐ de dǎo gào hé nǐ de zhōu jì dá dào shén miàn qián ， yǐ méng jì niàn le 。

He, fastening his eyes on him and being frightened, said, “What is it, Lord?” He said to him, “Your prayers and your gifts to the needy have gone up for a memorial before God.

現在你當打發人往約帕去，請那稱呼彼得的西門來。

xiàn zài nǐ dāng dǎ fā rén wǎng yuē pà qù ， qǐng nà chēng hu bǐ dé de xī mén lái 。

Now send men to Joppa, and get Simon, who is also called Peter.

他住在海邊一個硝皮匠西門的家裏，房子在海邊上。」

tā zhù zài hǎi biān yí gè xiāo pí jiàng xī mén de jiā lǐ ， fáng zi zài hǎi biān shàng 。」

He is staying with a tanner named Simon, whose house is by the seaside.

向他說話的天使去後，哥尼流叫了兩個家人和常伺候他的一個虔誠兵來，

xiàng tā shuō huà de tiān shǐ qù hòu ， gē ní liú jiào le liǎng gè jiā rén hé cháng cì hou tā de yí gè qián chéng bīng lái ，

When the angel who spoke to him had departed, Cornelius called two of his household servants and a devout soldier of those who waited on him continually.

把這事都述說給他們聽，就打發他們往約帕去。

bǎ zhè shì dōu shù shuō gěi tā men tīng ， jiù dǎ fā tā men wǎng yuē pà qù 。

Having explained everything to them, he sent them to Joppa.

第二天，他們行路將近那城。彼得約在午正，上房頂去禱告，

dì èr tiān ， tā men xíng lù jiāng jìn nà chéng 。 bǐ dé yuē zài wǔ zhèng ， shàng fáng dǐng qù dǎo gào ，

Now on the next day as they were on their journey and got close to the city, Peter went up on the housetop to pray at about noon.

覺得餓了，想要吃。那家的人正預備飯的時候，彼得魂遊象外，

jué de è le ， xiǎng yào chī 。 nà jiā de rén zhèng yù bèi fàn de shí hòu ， bǐ dé hún yóu xiàng wài ，

He became hungry and desired to eat, but while they were preparing, he fell into a trance.

看見天開了，有一物降下，好像一塊大布，繫着四角，縋在地上，

kàn jiàn tiān kāi le ， yǒu yí wù jiàng xià ， hǎo xiàng yí kuài dà bù ， xì zhe sì jiǎo ， zhuì zài dì shàng ，

He saw heaven opened and a certain container descending to him, like a great sheet let down by four corners on the earth,

裏面有地上各樣四足的走獸和昆蟲，並天上的飛鳥；

lǐ miàn yǒu dì shàng gè yàng sì zú de zǒu shòu hé kūn chóng ， bìng tiān shàng de fēi niǎo ；

in which were all kinds of four-footed animals of the earth, wild animals, reptiles, and birds of the sky.

又有聲音向他說：「彼得，起來，宰了吃！」

yòu yǒu shēng yīn xiàng tā shuō ：「 bǐ dé ， qǐ lái ， zǎi le chī ！」

A voice came to him, “Rise, Peter, kill and eat!”

彼得卻說：「主啊，這是不可的！凡俗物和不潔淨的物，我從來沒有吃過。」

bǐ dé què shuō ：「 zhǔ a ， zhè shì bù kě de ！ fán sú wù hé bù jié jìng de wù ， wǒ cóng lái méi yǒu chī guò 。」

But Peter said, “Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten anything that is common or unclean.”

第二次有聲音向他說：「上帝所潔淨的，你不可當作俗物。」

dì èr cì yǒu shēng yīn xiàng tā shuō ：「 shén suǒ jié jìng de ， nǐ bù kě dàng zuò sú wù 。」

A voice came to him again the second time, “What God has cleansed, you must not call unclean.”

這樣一連三次，那物隨即收回天上去了。

zhè yàng yì lián sān cì ， nà wù suí jí shōu huí tiān shàng qù le 。

This was done three times, and immediately the thing was received up into heaven.

彼得心裏正在猜疑之間，不知所看見的異象是甚麼意思。哥尼流所差來的人已經訪問到西門的家，站在門外，

bǐ dé xīn lǐ zhèng zài cāi yí zhī jiān ， bù zhī suǒ kàn jiàn de yì xiàng shì shén me yì sī 。 gē ní liú suǒ chà lái de rén yǐ jīng fǎng wèn dào xī mén de jiā ， zhàn zài mén wài ，

Now while Peter was very perplexed in himself what the vision which he had seen might mean, behold, the men who were sent by Cornelius, having made inquiry for Simon’s house, stood before the gate,

喊着問：「有稱呼彼得的西門住在這裏沒有？」

hǎn zhe wèn ：「 yǒu chēng hu bǐ dé de xī mén zhù zài zhè lǐ méi yǒu ？」

and called and asked whether Simon, who was also called Peter, was lodging there.

彼得還思想那異象的時候，聖靈向他說：「有三個人來找你。

bǐ dé hái sī xiǎng nà yì xiàng de shí hòu ， shèng líng xiàng tā shuō ：「 yǒu sān gè rén lái zhǎo nǐ 。

While Peter was pondering the vision, the Spirit said to him, “Behold, three men seek you.

起來，下去，和他們同往，不要疑惑，因為是我差他們來的。」

qǐ lái ， xià qù ， hé tā men tóng wǎng ， bú yào yí huò ， yīn wèi shì wǒ chà tā men lái de 。」

But arise, get down, and go with them, doubting nothing; for I have sent them.”

於是彼得下去見那些人，說：「我就是你們所找的人。你們來是為甚麼緣故？」

yú shì bǐ dé xià qù jiàn nà xiē rén ， shuō ：「 wǒ jiù shì nǐ men suǒ zhǎo de rén 。 nǐ men lái shì wèi shén me yuán gù ？」

Peter went down to the men, and said, “Behold, I am he whom you seek. Why have you come?”

他們說：「百夫長哥尼流是個義人，敬畏上帝，為猶太通國所稱讚。他蒙一位聖天使指示，叫他請你到他家裏去，聽你的話。」

tā men shuō ：「 bǎi fū zhǎng gē ní liú shì gè yì rén ， jìng wèi shén ， wèi yóu tài tōng guó suǒ chēng zàn 。 tā méng yí wèi shèng tiān shǐ suǒ zhǐ shì ， jiào tā qǐng nǐ dào tā jiā lǐ qù ， tīng nǐ de huà 。」

They said, “Cornelius, a centurion, a righteous man and one who fears God, and well spoken of by all the nation of the Jews, was directed by a holy angel to invite you to his house, and to listen to what you say.”

彼得就請他們進去，住了一宿。 次日，起身和他們同去，還有約帕的幾個弟兄同着他去；

bǐ dé jiù qǐng tā men jìn qù ， zhù le yí sù 。 cì rì ， qǐ shēn hé tā men tóng qù ， hái yǒu yuē pà de jǐ gè dì xiong tóng zhe tā qù ；

So he called them in and provided a place to stay. On the next day Peter arose and went out with them, and some of the brothers from Joppa accompanied him.

又次日，他們進入凱撒利亞，哥尼流已經請了他的親屬密友等候他們。

yòu cì rì ， tā men jìn rù kǎi sā lì yà ， gē ní liú yǐ jīng qǐng le tā de qīn shǔ mì yǒu děng hòu tā men 。

On the next day they entered into Caesarea. Cornelius was waiting for them, having called together his relatives and his near friends.

彼得一進去，哥尼流就迎接他，俯伏在他腳前拜他。

bǐ dé yí jìn qù ， gē ní liú jiù yíng jiē tā ， fǔ fú zài tā jiǎo qián bài tā 。

When Peter entered, Cornelius met him, fell down at his feet, and worshiped him.

彼得卻拉他，說：「你起來，我也是人。」

bǐ dé què lā tā ， shuō ：「 nǐ qǐ lái ， wǒ yě shì rén 。」

But Peter raised him up, saying, “Stand up! I myself am also a man.”

彼得和他說着話進去，見有好些人在那裏聚集，

bǐ dé hé tā shuō zhe huà jìn qù ， jiàn yǒu hǎo xiē rén zài nà lǐ jù jí ，

As he talked with him, he went in and found many gathered together.

就對他們說：「你們知道，猶太人和別國的人親近來往本是不合例的，但上帝已經指示我，無論甚麼人都不可看作俗而不潔淨的。

jiù duì tā men shuō ：「 nǐ men zhī dào ， yóu tài rén hé bié guó de rén qīn jìn lái wǎng běn shì bù hé lì de ， dàn shén yǐ jīng zhǐ shì wǒ ， wú lùn shén me rén dōu bù kě kàn zuò sú ér bù jié jìng de 。

He said to them, “You yourselves know how it is an unlawful thing for a man who is a Jew to join himself or come to one of another nation, but God has shown me that I shouldn’t call any man unholy or unclean.

所以我被請的時候，就不推辭而來。現在請問：你們叫我來有甚麼意思呢？」

suǒ yǐ wǒ bèi qǐng de shí hòu ， jiù bù tuī cí ér lái 。 xiàn zài qǐng wèn ： nǐ men jiào wǒ lái yǒu shén me yì sī ne ？」

Therefore I also came without complaint when I was sent for. I ask therefore, why did you send for me?”

哥尼流說：「前四天，這個時候，我在家中守着申初的禱告，忽然有一個人穿着光明的衣裳，站在我面前，

gē ní liú shuō ：「 qián sì tiān ， zhè ge shí hòu ， wǒ zài jiā zhōng shǒu zhe shēn chū de dǎo gào ， hū rán yǒu yí gè rén chuān zhe guāng míng de yī shang ， zhàn zài wǒ miàn qián ，

Cornelius said, “Four days ago, I was fasting until this hour; and at the ninth hour, I prayed in my house, and behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing

說：『哥尼流，你的禱告已蒙垂聽，你的賙濟達到上帝面前已蒙記念了。

shuō ：『 gē ní liú ， nǐ de dǎo gào yǐ méng chuí tīng ， nǐ de zhōu jì dá dào shén miàn qián yǐ méng jì niàn le 。

and said, ‘Cornelius, your prayer is heard, and your gifts to the needy are remembered in the sight of God.

你當打發人往約帕去，請那稱呼彼得的西門來，他住在海邊一個硝皮匠西門的家裏。』

nǐ dāng dǎ fā rén wǎng yuē pà qù ， qǐng nà chēng hū bǐ dé de xī mén lái ， tā zhù zài hǎi biān yí gè xiāo pí jiàng xī mén de jiā lǐ 。』

Send therefore to Joppa and summon Simon, who is also called Peter. He is staying in the house of a tanner named Simon, by the seaside. When he comes, he will speak to you.’

所以我立時打發人去請你。你來了很好；現今我們都在上帝面前，要聽主所吩咐你的一切話。」

suǒ yǐ wǒ lì shí dǎ fā rén qù qǐng nǐ 。 nǐ lái le hěn hǎo ； xiàn jīn wǒ men dōu zài shén miàn qián ， yào tīng zhǔ suǒ fēn fù nǐ de yí qiè huà 。」

Therefore I sent to you at once, and it was good of you to come. Now therefore we are all here present in the sight of God to hear all things that have been commanded you by God.”

彼得就開口說：「我真看出上帝是不偏待人。

bǐ dé jiù kāi kǒu shuō ：「 wǒ zhēn kàn chū shén shì bù piān dài rén 。

Peter opened his mouth and said, “Truly I perceive that God doesn’t show favoritism;

原來，各國中那敬畏主、行義的人都為主所悅納。

yuán lái ， gè guó zhōng nà jìng wèi zhǔ 、 xíng yì de rén dōu wéi zhǔ suǒ yuè nà 。

but in every nation he who fears him and works righteousness is acceptable to him.

上帝藉着耶穌基督（他是萬有的主）傳和平的福音，將這道賜給以色列人。

shén jiè zhe yē sū jī dū （ tā shì wàn yǒu de zhǔ ） chuán hé píng de fú yīn ， jiāng zhè dào cì gěi yǐ sè liè rén 。

The word which he sent to the children of Israel, preaching good news of peace by Jesus Christ—he is Lord of all—

這話在約翰宣傳洗禮以後，從加利利起，傳遍了猶太。

zhè huà zài yuē hàn xuān chuán xǐ lǐ yǐ hòu ， cóng jiā lì lì qǐ ， chuán biàn le yóu tài 。

you yourselves know what happened, which was proclaimed throughout all Judea, beginning from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached;

上帝怎樣以聖靈和能力膏拿撒勒人耶穌，這都是你們知道的。他周流四方，行善事，醫好凡被魔鬼壓制的人，因為上帝與他同在。

shén zěn yàng yǐ shèng líng hé néng lì gāo ná sā lè rén yē sū ， zhè dōu shì nǐ men zhī dào de 。 tā zhōu liú sì fāng ， xíng shàn shì ， yī hǎo fán bèi mó guǐ yā zhì de rén ， yīn wèi shén yǔ tā tóng zài 。

how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.

他在猶太人之地，並耶路撒冷所行的一切事，有我們作見證。他們竟把他掛在木頭上殺了。

tā zài yóu tài rén zhī dì ， bìng yē lù sā lěng suǒ xíng de yí qiè shì ， yǒu wǒ men zuò jiàn zhèng 。 tā men jìng bǎ tā guà zài mù tou shàng shā le 。

We are witnesses of everything he did both in the country of the Jews and in Jerusalem; whom they also killed, hanging him on a tree.

第三日，上帝叫他復活，顯現出來；

dì sān rì ， shén jiào tā fù huó ， xiǎn xiàn chū lái ；

God raised him up the third day and gave him to be revealed,

不是顯現給眾人看，乃是顯現給上帝預先所揀選為他作見證的人看，就是我們這些在他從死裏復活以後和他同吃同喝的人。

bú shì xiǎn xiàn gěi zhòng rén kàn ， nǎi shì xiǎn xiàn gěi shén yù xiān suǒ jiǎn xuǎn wèi tā zuò jiàn zhèng de rén kàn ， jiù shì wǒ men zhè xiē zài tā cóng sǐ lǐ fù huó yǐ hòu hé tā tóng chī tóng hē de rén 。

not to all the people, but to witnesses who were chosen before by God, to us, who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead.

他吩咐我們傳道給眾人，證明他是上帝所立定的，要作審判活人、死人的主。

tā fēn fù wǒ men chuán dào gěi zhòng rén ， zhèng míng tā shì shén suǒ lì dìng de ， yào zuò shěn pàn huó rén 、 sǐ rén de zhǔ 。

He commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that this is he who is appointed by God as the Judge of the living and the dead.

眾先知也為他作見證說：『凡信他的人必因他的名得蒙赦罪。』」

zhòng xiān zhī yě wèi tā zuò jiàn zhèng shuō ：『 fán xìn tā de rén bì yīn tā de míng dé méng shè zuì 。』」

All the prophets testify about him, that through his name everyone who believes in him will receive remission of sins.”

彼得還說這話的時候，聖靈降在一切聽道的人身上。

bǐ dé hái shuō zhè huà de shí hòu ， shèng líng jiàng zài yí qiè tīng dào de rén shēn shàng 。

While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell on all those who heard the word.

那些奉割禮、和彼得同來的信徒，見聖靈的恩賜也澆在外邦人身上，就都希奇；

nà xiē fèng gē lǐ 、 hé bǐ dé tóng lái de xìn tú ， jiàn shèng líng de ēn cì yě jiāo zài wài bāng rén shēn shàng ， jiù dōu xī qí ；

They of the circumcision who believed were amazed, as many as came with Peter, because the gift of the Holy Spirit was also poured out on the Gentiles.

因聽見他們說方言，稱讚上帝為大。

yīn tīng jiàn tā men shuō fāng yán ， chēng zàn shén wèi dà 。

For they heard them speaking in other languages and magnifying God. Then Peter answered,

於是彼得說：「這些人既受了聖靈，與我們一樣，誰能禁止用水給他們施洗呢？」

yú shì bǐ dé shuō ：「 zhè xiē rén jì shòu le shèng líng ， yǔ wǒ men yí yàng ， shuí néng jìn zhǐ yòng shuǐ gěi tā men shī xǐ ne ？」

“Can anyone forbid these people from being baptized with water? They have received the Holy Spirit just like us.”

就吩咐奉耶穌基督的名給他們施洗。他們又請彼得住了幾天。

jiù fēn fù fèng yē sū jī dū de míng gěi tā men shī xǐ 。 tā men yòu qǐng bǐ dé zhù le jǐ tiān 。

He commanded them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked him to stay some days.
