我們離別了眾人，就開船一直行到哥士。第二天到了羅底，從那裏到帕大喇，

wǒ men lí bié le zhòng rén ， jiù kāi chuán yì zhí xíng dào gē shì 。 dì èr tiān dào le luó dǐ ， cóng nà lǐ dào pà dà lā ，

When we had departed from them and had set sail, we came with a straight course to Cos, and the next day to Rhodes, and from there to Patara.

遇見一隻船要往腓尼基去，就上船起行。

yù jiàn yì zhī chuán yào wǎng féi ní jī qù ， jiù shàng chuán qǐ xíng 。

Having found a ship crossing over to Phoenicia, we went aboard and set sail.

望見塞浦路斯，就從南邊行過，往敘利亞去，我們就在泰爾上岸，因為船要在那裏卸貨。

wàng jiàn sāi pǔ lù sī ， jiù cóng nán biān xíng guò ， wǎng xù lì yà qù ， wǒ men jiù zài tài ěr shàng àn ， yīn wèi chuán yào zài nà lǐ xiè huò 。

When we had come in sight of Cyprus, leaving it on the left hand, we sailed to Syria and landed at Tyre, for the ship was there to unload her cargo.

找着了門徒，就在那裏住了七天。他們被聖靈感動，對保羅說：「不要上耶路撒冷去。」

zhǎo zhe le mén tú ， jiù zài nà lǐ zhù le qī tiān 。 tā men bèi shèng líng gǎn dòng ， duì bǎo luó shuō ：「 bú yào shàng yē lù sā lěng qù 。」

Having found disciples, we stayed there seven days. These said to Paul through the Spirit that he should not go up to Jerusalem.

過了這幾天，我們就起身前行。他們眾人同妻子兒女，送我們到城外，我們都跪在岸上禱告，彼此辭別。

guò le zhè jǐ tiān ， wǒ men jiù qǐ shēn qián xíng 。 tā men zhòng rén tóng qī zǐ ér nǚ ， sòng wǒ men dào chéng wài ， wǒ men dōu guì zài àn shàng dǎo gào ， bǐ cǐ cí bié 。

When those days were over, we departed and went on our journey. They all, with wives and children, brought us on our way until we were out of the city. Kneeling down on the beach, we prayed.

我們上了船，他們就回家去了。

wǒ men shàng le chuán ， tā men jiù huí jiā qù le 。

After saying goodbye to each other, we went on board the ship, and they returned home again.

我們從泰爾行盡了水路，來到多利買，就問那裏的弟兄安，和他們同住了一天。

wǒ men cóng tài ěr xíng jìn le shuǐ lù ， lái dào duō lì mǎi ， jiù wèn nà lǐ de dì xiong ān ， hé tā men tóng zhù le yì tiān 。

When we had finished the voyage from Tyre, we arrived at Ptolemais. We greeted the brothers and stayed with them one day.

第二天，我們離開那裏，來到凱撒利亞，就進了傳福音的腓利家裏，和他同住。他是那七個執事裏的一個。

dì èr tiān ， wǒ men lí kāi nà lǐ ， lái dào kǎi sā lì yà ， jiù jìn le chuán fú yīn de féi lì jiā lǐ ， hé tā tóng zhù 。 tā shì nà qī gè zhí shì lǐ de yí gè 。

On the next day, we who were Paul’s companions departed and came to Caesarea. We entered into the house of Philip the evangelist, who was one of the seven, and stayed with him.

他有四個女兒，都是處女，是說預言的。

tā yǒu sì gè nǚ ér ， dōu shì chǔ nǚ ， shì shuō yù yán de 。

Now this man had four virgin daughters who prophesied.

我們在那裏多住了幾天，有一個先知，名叫亞迦布，從猶太下來，

wǒ men zài nà lǐ duō zhù le jǐ tiān ， yǒu yí gè xiān zhī ， míng jiào yà jiā bù ， cóng yóu tài xià lái ，

As we stayed there some days, a certain prophet named Agabus came down from Judea.

到了我們這裏，就拿保羅的腰帶捆上自己的手腳，說：「聖靈說：猶太人在耶路撒冷，要如此捆綁這腰帶的主人，把他交在外邦人手裏。」

dào le wǒ men zhè lǐ ， jiù ná bǎo luó de yāo dài kǔn shàng zì jǐ de shǒu jiǎo ， shuō ：「 shèng líng shuō ： yóu tài rén zài yē lù sā lěng ， yào rú cǐ kǔn bǎng zhè yāo dài de zhǔ rén ， bǎ tā jiāo zài wài bāng rén shǒu lǐ 。」

Coming to us and taking Paul’s belt, he bound his own feet and hands, and said, “The Holy Spirit says: ‘So the Jews at Jerusalem will bind the man who owns this belt, and will deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.’”

我們和那本地的人聽見這話，都苦勸保羅不要上耶路撒冷去。

wǒ men hé nà běn dì de rén tīng jiàn zhè huà ， dōu kǔ quàn bǎo luó bú yào shàng yē lù sā lěng qù 。

When we heard these things, both we and the people of that place begged him not to go up to Jerusalem.

保羅說：「你們為甚麼這樣痛哭，使我心碎呢？我為主耶穌的名，不但被人捆綁，就是死在耶路撒冷也是願意的。」

bǎo luó shuō ：「 nǐ men wèi shén me zhè yàng tòng kū ， shǐ wǒ xīn suì ne ？ wǒ wéi zhǔ yē sū de míng ， bú dàn bèi rén kǔn bǎng ， jiù shì sǐ zài yē lù sā lěng yě shì yuàn yì de 。」

Then Paul answered, “What are you doing, weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.”

保羅既不聽勸，我們便住了口，只說：「願主的旨意成就」，便了。

bǎo luó jì bù tīng quàn ， wǒ men biàn zhù le kǒu ， zhī shuō ：「 yuàn zhǔ de zhǐ yì chéng jiù 」， biàn le 。

When he would not be persuaded, we ceased, saying, “The Lord’s will be done.”

過了幾日，我們收拾行李上耶路撒冷去。

guò le jǐ rì ， wǒ men shōu shí xíng li shàng yē lù sā lěng qù 。

After these days we took up our baggage and went up to Jerusalem.

有凱撒利亞的幾個門徒和我們同去，帶我們到一個久為 門徒的家裏，叫我們與他同住；他名叫拿孫，是塞浦路斯人。

yǒu kǎi sā lì yà de jǐ gè mén tú hé wǒ men tóng qù ， dài wǒ men dào yí gè jiǔ wèi mén tú de jiā lǐ ， jiào wǒ men yǔ tā tóng zhù ； tā míng jiào ná sūn ， shì sāi pǔ lù sī rén 。

Some of the disciples from Caesarea also went with us, bringing one Mnason of Cyprus, an early disciple, with whom we would stay.

到了耶路撒冷，弟兄們歡歡喜喜地接待我們。

dào le yē lù sā lěng ， dì xiong men huān huān xǐ xǐ dì jiē dài wǒ men 。

When we had come to Jerusalem, the brothers received us gladly.

第二天，保羅同我們去見雅各；長老們也都在那裏。

dì èr tiān ， bǎo luó tóng wǒ men qù jiàn yǎ gè ； zhǎng lǎo men yě dōu zài nà lǐ 。

The day following, Paul went in with us to James; and all the elders were present.

保羅問了他們安，便將上帝用他傳教，在外邦人中間所行之事，一一地述說了。

bǎo luó wèn le tā men ān ， biàn jiāng shén yòng tā chuán jiào ， zài wài bāng rén zhōng jiān suǒ xíng zhī shì ， yī yī dì shù shuō le 。

When he had greeted them, he reported one by one the things which God had worked among the Gentiles through his ministry.

他們聽見，就歸榮耀與上帝，對保羅說：「兄台，你看猶太人中信主的有多少萬，並且都為律法熱心。

tā men tīng jiàn ， jiù guī róng yào yǔ shén ， duì bǎo luó shuō ：「 xiōng tái ， nǐ kàn yóu tài rén zhōng xìn zhǔ de yǒu duō shǎo wàn ， bìng qiě dōu wèi lǜ fǎ rè xīn 。

They, when they heard it, glorified God. They said to him, “You see, brother, how many thousands there are among the Jews of those who have believed, and they are all zealous for the law.

他們聽見人說，你教訓一切在外邦的猶太人離棄摩西，對他們說，不要給孩子行割禮，也不要遵行條規。

tā men tīng jiàn rén shuō ， nǐ jiào xùn yí qiè zài wài bāng de yóu tài rén lí qì mó xī ， duì tā men shuō ， bú yào gěi hái zi xíng gē lǐ ， yě bú yào zūn xíng tiáo guī 。

They have been informed about you, that you teach all the Jews who are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, telling them not to circumcise their children and not to walk after the customs.

眾人必聽見你來了，這可怎麼辦呢？

zhòng rén bì tīng jiàn nǐ lái le ， zhè kě zěn me bàn ne ？

What then? The assembly must certainly meet, for they will hear that you have come.

你就照着我們的話行吧！ 我們這裏有四個人，都有願在身。

nǐ jiù zhào zhe wǒ men de huà xíng ba ！ wǒ men zhè lǐ yǒu sì gè rén ， dōu yǒu yuàn zài shēn 。

Therefore do what we tell you. We have four men who have taken a vow.

你帶他們去，與他們一同行潔淨的禮，替他們拿出規費，叫他們得以剃頭。這樣，眾人就可知道，先前所聽見你的事都是虛的；並可知道，你自己為人，循規蹈矩，遵行律法。

nǐ dài tā men qù ， yǔ tā men yì tóng háng jié jìng de lǐ ， tì tā men ná chū guī fèi ， jiào tā men dé yǐ tì tóu 。 zhè yàng ， zhòng rén jiù kě zhī dào ， xiān qián suǒ tīng jiàn nǐ de shì dōu shì xū de ； bìng kě zhī dào ， nǐ zì jǐ wèi rén ， xún guī dǎo jǔ ， zūn xíng lǜ fǎ 。

Take them and purify yourself with them, and pay their expenses for them, that they may shave their heads. Then all will know that there is no truth in the things that they have been informed about you, but that you yourself also walk keeping the law.

至於信主的外邦人，我們已經寫信擬定，叫他們謹忌那祭偶像之物，和血，並勒死的牲畜，與姦淫。」

zhì yú xìn zhǔ de wài bāng rén ， wǒ men yǐ jīng xiě xìn nǐ dìng ， jiào tā men jǐn jì nà jì ǒu xiàng zhī wù ， hé xuè ， bìng lè sǐ de shēng chù ， yǔ jiān yín 。」

But concerning the Gentiles who believe, we have written our decision that they should observe no such thing, except that they should keep themselves from food offered to idols, from blood, from strangled things, and from sexual immorality.”

於是保羅帶着那四個人，第二天與他們一同行了潔淨的禮，進了殿，報明潔淨的日期滿足，只等祭司為他們各人獻祭。

yú shì bǎo luó dài zhe nà sì gè rén ， dì èr tiān yǔ tā men yì tóng háng le jié jìng de lǐ ， jìn le diàn ， bào míng jié jìng de rì qī mǎn zú ， zhī děng jì sī wèi tā men gè rén xiàn jì 。

Then Paul took the men, and the next day purified himself and went with them into the temple, declaring the fulfillment of the days of purification, until the offering was offered for every one of them.

那七日將完，從亞細亞來的猶太人看見保羅在殿裏，就聳動了眾人，下手拿他，

nà qī rì jiāng wán ， cóng yà xì yà lái de yóu tài rén kàn jiàn bǎo luó zài diàn lǐ ， jiù sǒng dòng le zhòng rén ， xià shǒu ná tā ，

When the seven days were almost completed, the Jews from Asia, when they saw him in the temple, stirred up all the multitude and laid hands on him,

喊叫說：「以色列人來幫助，這就是在各處教訓眾人糟踐我們百姓和律法，並這地方的。他又帶着希臘人進殿，污穢了這聖地。」（

hǎn jiào shuō ：「 yǐ sè liè rén lái bāng zhù ， zhè jiù shì zài gè chù jiào xùn zhòng rén zāo jiàn wǒ men bǎi xìng hé lǜ fǎ ， bìng zhè dì fāng de 。 tā yòu dài zhe xī là rén jìn diàn ， wū huì le zhè shèng dì 。」（

crying out, “Men of Israel, help! This is the man who teaches all men everywhere against the people, and the law, and this place. Moreover, he also brought Greeks into the temple and has defiled this holy place!”

這話是因他們曾看見以弗所人特羅非摩同保羅在城裏，以為保羅帶他進了殿。）

zhè huà shì yīn tā men céng kàn jiàn yǐ fú suǒ rén tè luó fēi mó tóng bǎo luó zài chéng lǐ ， yǐ wéi bǎo luó dài tā jìn le diàn 。）

For they had seen Trophimus the Ephesian with him in the city, and they supposed that Paul had brought him into the temple.

合城都震動，百姓一齊跑來，拿住保羅，拉他出殿，殿門立刻都關了。

hé chéng dōu zhèn dòng ， bǎi xìng yì qí pǎo lái ， ná zhù bǎo luó ， lā tā chū diàn ， diàn mén lì kè dōu guān le 。

All the city was moved and the people ran together. They seized Paul and dragged him out of the temple. Immediately the doors were shut.

他們正想要殺他，有人報信給營裏的千夫長說：「耶路撒冷合城都亂了。」

tā men zhèng xiǎng yào shā tā ， yǒu rén bào xìn gěi yíng lǐ de qiān fū cháng shuō ：「 yē lù sā lěng hé chéng dōu luàn le 。」

As they were trying to kill him, news came up to the commanding officer of the regiment that all Jerusalem was in an uproar.

千夫長立時帶着兵丁和幾個百夫長，跑下去到他們那裏。他們見了千夫長和兵丁，就止住不打保羅。

qiān fū cháng lì shí dài zhe bīng dīng hé jǐ gè bǎi fū zhǎng ， pǎo xià qù dào tā men nà lǐ 。 tā men jiàn le qiān fū cháng hé bīng dīng ， jiù zhǐ zhù bù dǎ bǎo luó 。

Immediately he took soldiers and centurions and ran down to them. They, when they saw the chief captain and the soldiers, stopped beating Paul.

於是千夫長上前拿住他，吩咐用兩條鐵鍊捆鎖；又問他是甚麼人，做的是甚麼事。

yú shì qiān fū zhǎng shàng qián ná zhù tā ， fēn fù yòng liǎng tiáo tiě liàn kǔn suǒ ； yòu wèn tā shì shén me rén ， zuò de shì shén me shì 。

Then the commanding officer came near, arrested him, commanded him to be bound with two chains, and inquired who he was and what he had done.

眾人有喊叫這個的，有喊叫那個的；千夫長因為這樣亂嚷，得不着實情，就吩咐人將保羅帶進營樓去。

zhòng rén yǒu hǎn jiào zhè ge de ， yǒu hǎn jiào nà ge de ； qiān fū cháng yīn wèi zhè yàng luàn rǎng ， dé bù zhuó shí qíng ， jiù fēn fù rén jiāng bǎo luó dài jìn yíng lóu qù 。

Some shouted one thing and some another, among the crowd. When he couldn’t find out the truth because of the noise, he commanded him to be brought into the barracks.

到了臺階上，眾人擠得兇猛，兵丁只得將保羅抬起來。

dào le tái jiē shàng ， zhòng rén jǐ dé xiōng měng ， bīng dīng zhī dé jiāng bǎo luó tái qǐ lái 。

When he came to the stairs, he was carried by the soldiers because of the violence of the crowd;

眾人跟在後面，喊着說：「除掉他！」

zhòng rén gēn zài hòu miàn ， hǎn zhe shuō ：「 chú diào tā ！」

for the multitude of the people followed after, crying out, “Away with him!”

將要帶他進營樓，保羅對千夫長說：「我對你說句話可以不可以？」他說：「你懂得希臘話嗎？

jiāng yào dài tā jìn yíng lóu ， bǎo luó duì qiān fū cháng shuō ：「 wǒ duì nǐ shuō jù huà kě yǐ bù kě yǐ ？」 tā shuō ：「 nǐ dǒng de xī là huà ma ？

As Paul was about to be brought into the barracks, he asked the commanding officer, “May I speak to you?” He said, “Do you know Greek?

你莫非是從前作亂、帶領四千兇徒往曠野去的那埃及人嗎？」

nǐ mò fēi shì cóng qián zuò luàn 、 dài lǐng sì qiān xiōng tú wǎng kuàng yě qù de nà āi jí rén ma ？」

Aren’t you then the Egyptian who before these days stirred up to sedition and led out into the wilderness the four thousand men of the Assassins?”

保羅說：「我本是猶太人，生在基利家的大數，並不是無名小城的人。求你准我對百姓說話。」

bǎo luó shuō ：「 wǒ běn shì yóu tài rén ， shēng zài jī lì jiā de dà shù ， bìng bú shì wú míng xiǎo chéng de rén 。 qiú nǐ zhǔn wǒ duì bǎi xìng shuō huà 。」

But Paul said, “I am a Jew from Tarsus in Cilicia, a citizen of no insignificant city. I beg you, allow me to speak to the people.”

千夫長准了。保羅就站在臺階上，向百姓擺手，他們都靜默無聲，保羅便用希伯來話對他們說：

qiān fū cháng zhǔn le 。 bǎo luó jiù zhàn zài tái jiē shàng ， xiàng bǎi xìng bǎi shǒu ， tā men dōu jìng mò wú shēng ， bǎo luó biàn yòng xī bó lái huà duì tā men shuō ：

When he had given him permission, Paul, standing on the stairs, beckoned with his hand to the people. When there was a great silence, he spoke to them in the Hebrew language, saying,
