申命記 1

以下所記的是摩西在約旦河東的曠野、疏弗對面的亞拉巴－就是巴蘭、陀弗、拉班、哈洗錄、底撒哈中間－向以色列眾人所說的話。（

yǐ xià suǒ jì de shì mó xī zài yuē dàn hé dōng de kuàng yě 、 shū fú duì miàn de yà lā bā — jiù shì bā lán 、 tuó fú 、 lā bān 、 hā xǐ lù 、 dǐ sā hā zhōng jiān — xiàng yǐ sè liè zhòng rén suǒ shuō de huà 。（

These are the words which Moses spoke to all Israel beyond the Jordan in the wilderness, in the Arabah opposite Suf, between Paran, Tophel, Laban, Hazeroth, and Dizahab.

從何烈山經過西珥山到加低斯‧巴尼亞有十一天的路程。）

cóng hé liè shān jīng guò xī ěr shān dào jiā dī sī · bā ní yà yǒu shí yī tiān de lù chéng 。）

It is eleven days’ journey from Horeb by the way of Mount Seir to Kadesh Barnea.

出埃及第四十年十一月初一日，摩西照耶和華藉着他所吩咐以色列人的話都曉諭他們。

chū āi jí dì sì shí nián shí yī yuè chū yī rì ， mó xī zhào yē hé huá jiè zhe tā suǒ fēn fù yǐ sè liè rén de huà dōu xiǎo yù tā men 。

In the fortieth year, in the eleventh month, on the first day of the month, Moses spoke to the children of Israel according to all that the LORD had given him in commandment to them,

那時，他已經擊殺了住希實本的亞摩利王西宏和住以得來、亞斯他錄的巴珊王噩。

nà shí ， tā yǐ jīng jī shā le zhù xī shí běn de yà mó lì wáng xī hóng hé zhù yǐ dé lái 、 yà sī tā lù de bā shān wáng è 。

after he had struck Sihon the king of the Amorites who lived in Heshbon, and Og the king of Bashan who lived in Ashtaroth, at Edrei.

摩西在約旦河東的摩押地講律法說：

mó xī zài yuē dàn hé dōng de mó yā dì jiǎng lǜ fǎ shuō ：

Beyond the Jordan, in the land of Moab, Moses began to declare this law, saying,

「耶和華－我們的上帝在何烈山曉諭我們說：你們在這山上住的日子夠了；

「 yē hé huá — wǒ men de shén zài hé liè shān xiǎo yù wǒ men shuō ： nǐ men zài zhè shān shàng zhù de rì zi gòu le ；

“The LORD our God spoke to us in Horeb, saying, ‘You have lived long enough at this mountain.

要起行轉到亞摩利人的山地和靠近這山地的各處，就是亞拉巴、山地、高原、南地，沿海一帶迦南人的地，並黎巴嫩山又到幼發拉底大河。

yào qǐ xíng zhuǎn dào yà mó lì rén de shān dì hé kào jìn zhè shān dì de gè chù ， jiù shì yà lā bā 、 shān dì 、 gāo yuán 、 nán dì ， yán hǎi yí dài jiā nán rén de dì ， bìng lí bā nèn shān yòu dào yòu fā lā dǐ dà hé 。

Turn, and take your journey, and go to the hill country of the Amorites and to all the places near there: in the Arabah, in the hill country, in the lowland, in the South, by the seashore, in the land of the Canaanites, and in Lebanon as far as the great river, the river Euphrates.

如今我將這地擺在你們面前；你們要進去得這地，就是耶和華向你們列祖亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各起誓應許賜給他們和他們後裔為業之地。」

rú jīn wǒ jiāng zhè dì bǎi zài nǐ men miàn qián ； nǐ men yào jìn qù dé zhè dì ， jiù shì yē hé huá xiàng nǐ men liè zǔ yà bó lā hǎn 、 yǐ sā 、 yǎ gè qǐ shì yīng xǔ cì gěi tā men hé tā men hòu yì wèi yè zhī dì 。」

Behold, I have set the land before you. Go in and possess the land which the LORD swore to your fathers—to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob—to give to them and to their offspring after them.’”

「那時，我對你們說：『管理你們的重任，我獨自擔當不起。

「 nà shí ， wǒ duì nǐ men shuō ：『 guǎn lǐ nǐ men de zhòng rèn ， wǒ dú zì dān dāng bù qǐ 。

I spoke to you at that time, saying, “I am not able to bear you myself alone.

耶和華－你們的上帝使你們多起來。看哪，你們今日像天上的星那樣多。

yē hé huá — nǐ men de shén shǐ nǐ men duō qǐ lái 。 kàn nǎ ， nǐ men jīn rì xiàng tiān shàng de xīng nà yàng duō 。

The LORD your God has multiplied you, and behold, you are today as the stars of the sky for multitude.

惟願耶和華－你們列祖的上帝使你們比如今更多千倍，照他所應許你們的話賜福與你們。

wéi yuàn yē hé huá — nǐ men liè zǔ de shén shǐ nǐ men bǐ rú jīn gèng duō qiān bèi ， zhào tā suǒ yīng xǔ nǐ men de huà cì fú yǔ nǐ men 。

May the LORD, the God of your fathers, make you a thousand times as many as you are and bless you, as he has promised you!

但你們的麻煩，和管理你們的重任，並你們的爭訟，我獨自一人怎能擔當得起呢？

dàn nǐ men de má fán ， hé guǎn lǐ nǐ men de zhòng rèn ， bìng nǐ men de zhēng sòng ， wǒ dú zì yì rén zěn néng dān dāng dé qǐ ne ？

How can I myself alone bear your problems, your burdens, and your strife?

你們要按着各支派選舉有智慧、有見識、為眾人所認識的，我立他們為你們的首領。』

nǐ men yào àn zhe gè zhī pài xuǎn jǔ yǒu zhì huì 、 yǒu jiàn shi 、 wèi zhòng rén suǒ rèn shi de ， wǒ lì tā men wèi nǐ men de shǒu lǐng 。』

Take wise men of understanding who are respected among your tribes, and I will make them heads over you.”

你們回答我說：『照你所說的行了為妙。』

nǐ men huí dá wǒ shuō ：『 zhào nǐ suǒ shuō de xíng le wèi miào 。』

You answered me, and said, “The thing which you have spoken is good to do.”

我便將你們各支派的首領，有智慧、為眾人所認識的，照你們的支派，立他們為官長、千夫長、百夫長、五十夫長、十夫長，管理你們。

wǒ biàn jiāng nǐ men gè zhī pài de shǒu lǐng ， yǒu zhì huì 、 wèi zhòng rén suǒ rèn shi de ， zhào nǐ men de zhī pài ， lì tā men wèi guān zhǎng 、 qiān fū cháng 、 bǎi fū zhǎng 、 wǔ shí fū cháng 、 shí fū cháng ， guǎn lǐ nǐ men 。

So I took the heads of your tribes, wise and respected men, and made them heads over you, captains of thousands, captains of hundreds, captains of fifties, captains of tens, and officers, according to your tribes.

「當時，我囑咐你們的審判官說：『你們聽訟，無論是弟兄彼此爭訟，是與同居的外人爭訟，都要按公義判斷。

「 dāng shí ， wǒ zhǔ fù nǐ men de shěn pàn guān shuō ：『 nǐ men tīng sòng ， wú lùn shì dì xiōng bǐ cǐ zhēng sòng ， shì yǔ tóng jū de wài rén zhēng sòng ， dōu yào àn gōng yì pàn duàn 。

I commanded your judges at that time, saying, “Hear cases between your brothers and judge righteously between a man and his brother, and the foreigner who is living with him.

審判的時候，不可看人的外貌；聽訟不可分貴賤，不可懼怕人，因為審判是屬乎上帝的。若有難斷的案件，可以呈到我這裏，我就判斷。』

shěn pàn de shí hòu ， bù kě kàn rén de wài mào ； tīng sòng bù kě fēn guì jiàn ， bù kě jù pà rén ， yīn wèi shěn pàn shì shǔ hū shén de 。 ruò yǒu nán duàn de àn jiàn ， kě yǐ chéng dào wǒ zhè lǐ ， wǒ jiù pàn duàn 。』

You shall not show partiality in judgment; you shall hear the small and the great alike. You shall not be afraid of the face of man, for the judgment is God’s. The case that is too hard for you, you shall bring to me, and I will hear it.”

那時，我將你們所當行的事都吩咐你們了。」

nà shí ， wǒ jiāng nǐ men suǒ dāng xíng de shì dōu fēn fù nǐ men le 。」

I commanded you at that time all the things which you should do.

「我們照着耶和華－我們上帝所吩咐的從何烈山起行，經過你們所看見那大而可怕的曠野，往亞摩利人的山地去，到了加低斯‧巴尼亞。

「 wǒ men zhào zhe yē hé huá — wǒ men shén suǒ fēn fù de cóng hé liè shān qǐ xíng ， jīng guò nǐ men suǒ kàn jiàn nà dà ér kě pà de kuàng yě ， wǎng yà mó lì rén de shān dì qù ， dào le jiā dī sī · bā ní yà 。

We traveled from Horeb and went through all that great and terrible wilderness which you saw, by the way to the hill country of the Amorites, as the LORD our God commanded us; and we came to Kadesh Barnea.

我對你們說：『你們已經到了耶和華－我們上帝所賜給我們的亞摩利人之山地。

wǒ duì nǐ men shuō ：『 nǐ men yǐ jīng dào le yē hé huá — wǒ men shén suǒ cì gěi wǒ men de yà mó lì rén zhī shān dì 。

I said to you, “You have come to the hill country of the Amorites, which the LORD our God gives to us.

看哪，耶和華－你的上帝已將那地擺在你面前，你要照耶和華－你列祖的上帝所說的上去得那地為業；不要懼怕，也不要驚惶。』

kàn nǎ ， yē hé huá — nǐ de shén yǐ jiāng nà dì bǎi zài nǐ miàn qián ， nǐ yào zhào yē hé huá — nǐ liè zǔ de shén suǒ shuō de shàng qù dé nà dì wèi yè ； bú yào jù pà ， yě bú yào jīng huáng 。』

Behold, the LORD your God has set the land before you. Go up, take possession, as the LORD the God of your fathers has spoken to you. Don’t be afraid, neither be dismayed.”

你們都就近我來說：『我們要先打發人去，為我們窺探那地，將我們上去該走何道，必進何城，都回報我們。』

nǐ men dōu jiù jìn wǒ lái shuō ：『 wǒ men yào xiān dǎ fā rén qù ， wèi wǒ men kuī tàn nà dì ， jiāng wǒ men shàng qù gāi zǒu hé dào ， bì jìn hé chéng ， dōu huí bào wǒ men 。』

You came near to me, everyone of you, and said, “Let’s send men before us, that they may search the land for us, and bring back to us word of the way by which we must go up, and the cities to which we shall come.”

這話我以為美，就從你們中間選了十二個人，每支派一人。

zhè huà wǒ yǐ wéi měi ， jiù cóng nǐ men zhōng jiān xuǎn le shí èr gè rén ， měi zhī pài yì rén 。

The thing pleased me well. I took twelve of your men, one man for every tribe.

於是他們起身上山地去，到以實各谷，窺探那地。

yú shì tā men qǐ shēn shàng shān dì qù ， dào yǐ shí gè gǔ ， kuī tàn nà dì 。

They turned and went up into the hill country, and came to the valley of Eshcol, and spied it out.

他們手裏拿着那地的果子下來，到我們那裏，回報說：『耶和華－我們的上帝所賜給我們的是美地。』

tā men shǒu lǐ ná zhe nà dì de guǒ zǐ xià lái ， dào wǒ men nà lǐ ， huí bào shuō ：『 yē hé huá — wǒ men de shén suǒ cì gěi wǒ men de shì měi dì 。』

They took some of the fruit of the land in their hands and brought it down to us, and brought us word again, and said, “It is a good land which the LORD our God gives to us.”

「你們卻不肯上去，竟違背了耶和華－你們上帝的命令，

「 nǐ men què bù kěn shàng qù ， jìng wéi bèi le yē hé huá — nǐ men shén de mìng lìng ，

Yet you wouldn’t go up, but rebelled against the commandment of the LORD your God.

在帳棚內發怨言說：『耶和華因為恨我們，所以將我們從埃及地領出來，要交在亞摩利人手中，除滅我們。

zài zhàng péng nèi fā yuàn yán shuō ：『 yē hé huá yīn wèi hèn wǒ men ， suǒ yǐ jiāng wǒ men cóng āi jí dì lǐng chū lái ， yào jiāo zài yà mó lì rén shǒu zhōng ， chú miè wǒ men 。

You murmured in your tents, and said, “Because the LORD hated us, he has brought us out of the land of Egypt, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites to destroy us.

我們上哪裏去呢？我們的弟兄使我們的心消化，說那地的民比我們又大又高，城邑又廣大又堅固，高得頂天，並且我們在那裏看見亞衲族的人。』

wǒ men shàng nǎ lǐ qù ne ？ wǒ men de dì xiong shǐ wǒ men de xīn xiāo huà ， shuō nà dì de mín bǐ wǒ men yòu dà yòu gāo ， chéng yì yòu guǎng dà yòu jiān gù ， gāo dé dǐng tiān ， bìng qiě wǒ men zài nà lǐ kàn jiàn yà nà zú de rén 。』

Where are we going up? Our brothers have made our heart melt, saying, ‘The people are greater and taller than we. The cities are great and fortified up to the sky. Moreover we have seen the sons of the Anakim there!’”

我就對你們說：『不要驚恐，也不要怕他們。

wǒ jiù duì nǐ men shuō ：『 bú yào jīng kǒng ， yě bú yào pà tā men 。

Then I said to you, “Don’t be terrified. Don’t be afraid of them.

在你們前面行的耶和華－你們的上帝必為你們爭戰，正如他在埃及和曠野，在你們眼前所行的一樣。

zài nǐ men qián miàn xíng de yē hé huá — nǐ men de shén bì wèi nǐ men zhēng zhàn ， zhèng rú tā zài āi jí hé kuàng yě ， zài nǐ men yǎn qián suǒ xíng de yí yàng 。

The LORD your God, who goes before you, he will fight for you, according to all that he did for you in Egypt before your eyes,

你們在曠野所行的路上，也曾見耶和華－你們的上帝撫養你們，如同人撫養兒子一般，直等你們來到這地方。』

nǐ men zài kuàng yě suǒ xíng de lù shang ， yě céng jiàn yē hé huá — nǐ men de shén fǔ yǎng nǐ men ， rú tóng rén fǔ yǎng ér zi yì bān ， zhí děng nǐ men lái dào zhè dì fāng 。』

and in the wilderness where you have seen how that the LORD your God carried you, as a man carries his son, in all the way that you went, until you came to this place.”

你們在這事上卻不信耶和華－你們的上帝。

nǐ men zài zhè shì shàng què bú xìn yē hé huá — nǐ men de shén 。

Yet in this thing you didn’t believe the LORD your God,

他在路上，在你們前面行，為你們找安營的地方；夜間在火柱裏，日間在雲柱裏，指示你們所當行的路。」

tā zài lù shang ， zài nǐ men qián miàn xíng ， wèi nǐ men zhǎo ān yíng de dì fāng ； yè jiān zài huǒ zhù lǐ ， rì jiān zài yún zhù lǐ ， zhǐ shì nǐ men suǒ dāng xíng de lù 。」

who went before you on the way, to seek out a place for you to pitch your tents in: in fire by night, to show you by what way you should go, and in the cloud by day.

「耶和華聽見你們這話，就發怒，起誓說：

「 yē hé huá tīng jiàn nǐ men zhè huà ， jiù fā nù ， qǐ shì shuō ：

The LORD heard the voice of your words and was angry, and swore, saying,

『這惡世代的人，連一個也不得見我起誓應許賜給你們列祖的美地；

『 zhè è shì dài de rén ， lián yí gè yě bù dé jiàn wǒ qǐ shì yīng xǔ cì gěi nǐ men liè zǔ de měi dì ；

“Surely not one of these men of this evil generation shall see the good land which I swore to give to your fathers,

惟有耶孚尼的兒子迦勒必得看見，並且我要將他所踏過的地賜給他和他的子孫，因為他專心跟從我。』

wéi yǒu yē fú ní de ér zi jiā lè bì dé kàn jiàn ， bìng qiě wǒ yào jiāng tā suǒ tà guò de dì cì gěi tā hé tā de zǐ sūn ， yīn wèi tā zhuān xīn gēn cóng wǒ 。』

except Caleb the son of Jephunneh. He shall see it. I will give the land that he has trodden on to him and to his children, because he has wholly followed the LORD.”

耶和華為你的緣故也向我發怒，說：『你必不得進入那地。

yē hé huá wèi nǐ de yuán gù yě xiàng wǒ fā nù ， shuō ：『 nǐ bì bù dé jìn rù nà dì 。

Also the LORD was angry with me for your sakes, saying, “You also shall not go in there.

伺候你、嫩的兒子約書亞，他必得進入那地；你要勉勵他，因為他要使以色列人承受那地為業。

cì hou nǐ 、 nèn de ér zi yuē shū yà ， tā bì dé jìn rù nà dì ； nǐ yào miǎn lì tā ， yīn wèi tā yào shǐ yǐ sè liè rén chéng shòu nà dì wèi yè 。

Joshua the son of Nun, who stands before you, shall go in there. Encourage him, for he shall cause Israel to inherit it.

並且你們的婦人孩子，就是你們所說、必被擄掠的，和今日不知善惡的兒女，必進入那地。我要將那地賜給他們，他們必得為業。

bìng qiě nǐ men de fù rén hái zi ， jiù shì nǐ men suǒ shuō 、 bì bèi lǔ lüè de ， hé jīn rì bù zhī shàn è de ér nǚ ， bì jìn rù nà dì 。 wǒ yào jiāng nà dì cì gěi tā men ， tā men bì dé wèi yè 。

Moreover your little ones, whom you said would be captured or killed, your children, who today have no knowledge of good or evil, shall go in there. I will give it to them, and they shall possess it.

至於你們，要轉回，從紅海的路往曠野去。』

zhì yú nǐ men ， yào zhuǎn huí ， cóng hóng hǎi de lù wǎng kuàng yě qù 。』

But as for you, turn, and take your journey into the wilderness by the way to the Red Sea.”

「那時，你們回答我說：『我們得罪了耶和華，情願照耶和華－我們上帝一切所吩咐的上去爭戰。』於是你們各人帶着兵器，爭先上山地去了。

「 nà shí ， nǐ men huí dá wǒ shuō ：『 wǒ men dé zuì le yē hé huá ， qíng yuàn zhào yē hé huá — wǒ men shén yí qiè suǒ fēn fù de shàng qù zhēng zhàn 。』 yú shì nǐ men gè rén dài zhe bīng qì ， zhēng xiān shàng shān dì qù le 。

Then you answered and said to me, “We have sinned against the LORD. We will go up and fight, according to all that the LORD our God commanded us.” Every man of you put on his weapons of war, and presumed to go up into the hill country.

耶和華吩咐我說：『你對他們說：不要上去，也不要爭戰；因我不在你們中間，恐怕你們被仇敵殺敗了。』

yē hé huá fēn fù wǒ shuō ：『 nǐ duì tā men shuō ： bú yào shàng qù ， yě bú yào zhēng zhàn ； yīn wǒ bú zài nǐ men zhōng jiān ， kǒng pà nǐ men bèi chóu dí shā bài le 。』

The LORD said to me, “Tell them, ‘Don’t go up and don’t fight; for I am not among you, lest you be struck before your enemies.’”

我就告訴了你們，你們卻不聽從，竟違背耶和華的命令，擅自上山地去了。

wǒ jiù gào sù le nǐ men ， nǐ men què bù tīng cóng ， jìng wéi bèi yē hé huá de mìng lìng ， shàn zì shàng shān dì qù le 。

So I spoke to you, and you didn’t listen; but you rebelled against the commandment of the LORD, and were presumptuous, and went up into the hill country.

住那山地的亞摩利人就出來攻擊你們，追趕你們，如蜂擁一般，在西珥殺退你們，直到何珥瑪。

zhù nà shān dì de yà mó lì rén jiù chū lái gōng jī nǐ men ， zhuī gǎn nǐ men ， rú fēng yōng yì bān ， zài xī ěr shā tuì nǐ men ， zhí dào hé ěr mǎ 。

The Amorites, who lived in that hill country, came out against you and chased you as bees do, and beat you down in Seir, even to Hormah.

你們便回來，在耶和華面前哭號；耶和華卻不聽你們的聲音，也不向你們側耳。

nǐ men biàn huí lái ， zài yē hé huá miàn qián kū hào ； yē hé huá què bù tīng nǐ men de shēng yīn ， yě bú xiàng nǐ men cè ěr 。

You returned and wept before the LORD, but the LORD didn’t listen to your voice, nor turn his ear to you.

於是你們在加低斯住了許多日子。」

yú shì nǐ men zài jiā dī sī zhù le xǔ duō rì zi 。」

So you stayed in Kadesh many days, according to the days that you remained.
