申命記 2

「此後，我們轉回，從紅海的路往曠野去，是照耶和華所吩咐我的。我們在西珥山繞行了許多日子。

「 cǐ hòu ， wǒ men zhuǎn huí ， cóng hóng hǎi de lù wǎng kuàng yě qù ， shì zhào yē hé huá suǒ fēn fù wǒ de 。 wǒ men zài xī ěr shān rào xíng le xǔ duō rì zi 。

Then we turned, and took our journey into the wilderness by the way to the Red Sea, as the LORD spoke to me; and we encircled Mount Seir many days.

耶和華對我說：

yē hé huá duì wǒ shuō ：

The LORD spoke to me, saying,

『你們繞行這山的日子夠了，要轉向北去。

『 nǐ men rào xíng zhè shān de rì zi gòu le ， yào zhuǎn xiàng běi qù 。

“You have encircled this mountain long enough. Turn northward.

你吩咐百姓說：你們弟兄以掃的子孫住在西珥，你們要經過他們的境界。他們必懼怕你們，所以你們要分外謹慎。

nǐ fēn fù bǎi xìng shuō ： nǐ men dì xiong yǐ sǎo de zǐ sūn zhù zài xī ěr ， nǐ men yào jīng guò tā men de jìng jiè 。 tā men bì jù pà nǐ men ， suǒ yǐ nǐ men yào fèn wài jǐn shèn 。

Command the people, saying, ‘You are to pass through the border of your brothers, the children of Esau, who dwell in Seir; and they will be afraid of you. Therefore be careful.

不可與他們爭戰；他們的地，連腳掌可踏之處，我都不給你們，因我已將西珥山賜給以掃為業。

bù kě yǔ tā men zhēng zhàn ； tā men de dì ， lián jiǎo zhǎng kě tà zhī chù ， wǒ dōu bù gěi nǐ men ， yīn wǒ yǐ jiāng xī ěr shān cì gěi yǐ sǎo wèi yè 。

Don’t contend with them; for I will not give you any of their land, no, not so much as for the sole of the foot to tread on, because I have given Mount Seir to Esau for a possession.

你們要用錢向他們買糧吃，也要用錢向他們買水喝。

nǐ men yào yòng qián xiàng tā men mǎi liáng chī ， yě yào yòng qián xiàng tā men mǎi shuǐ hē 。

You shall purchase food from them for money, that you may eat. You shall also buy water from them for money, that you may drink.’”

因為耶和華－你的上帝在你手裏所辦的一切事上已賜福與你。你走這大曠野，他都知道了。這四十年，耶和華－你的上帝常與你同在，故此你一無所缺。』

yīn wèi yē hé huá — nǐ de shén zài nǐ shǒu lǐ suǒ bàn de yí qiè shì shàng yǐ cì fú yǔ nǐ 。 nǐ zǒu zhè dà kuàng yě ， tā dōu zhī dào le 。 zhè sì shí nián ， yē hé huá — nǐ de shén cháng yǔ nǐ tóng zài ， gù cǐ nǐ yì wú suǒ quē 。』

For the LORD your God has blessed you in all the work of your hands. He has known your walking through this great wilderness. These forty years, the LORD your God has been with you. You have lacked nothing.

「於是，我們離了我們弟兄以掃子孫所住的西珥，從亞拉巴的路，經過以拉他、以旬‧迦別，轉向摩押曠野的路去。

「 yú shì ， wǒ men lí le wǒ men dì xiong yǐ sǎo zǐ sūn suǒ zhù de xī ěr ， cóng yà lā bā de lù ， jīng guò yǐ lā tā 、 yǐ xún · jiā bié ， zhuǎn xiàng mó yā kuàng yě de lù qù 。

So we passed by from our brothers, the children of Esau, who dwell in Seir, from the way of the Arabah from Elath and from Ezion Geber. We turned and passed by the way of the wilderness of Moab.

耶和華吩咐我說：『不可擾害摩押人，也不可與他們爭戰。他們的地，我不賜給你為業，因我已將亞珥賜給羅得的子孫為業。』（

yē hé huá fēn fù wǒ shuō ：『 bù kě rǎo hài mó yā rén ， yě bù kě yǔ tā men zhēng zhàn 。 tā men de dì ， wǒ bú cì gěi nǐ wèi yè ， yīn wǒ yǐ jiāng yà ěr cì gěi luó dé de zǐ sūn wèi yè 。』

The LORD said to me, “Don’t bother Moab, neither contend with them in battle; for I will not give you any of his land for a possession, because I have given Ar to the children of Lot for a possession.”

先前，有以米人住在那裏，民數眾多，身體高大，像亞衲人一樣。

xiān qián ， yǒu yǐ mǐ rén zhù zài nà lǐ ， mín shù zhòng duō ， shēn tǐ gāo dà ， xiàng yà nà rén yí yàng 。

(The Emim lived there before, a great and numerous people, and tall as the Anakim.

這以米人像亞衲人；也算為利乏音人；摩押人稱他們為以米人。

zhè yǐ mǐ rén xiàng yà nà rén ； yě suàn wèi lì fá yīn rén ； mó yā rén chēng tā men wèi yǐ mǐ rén 。

These also are considered to be Rephaim, as the Anakim; but the Moabites call them Emim.

先前，何利人也住在西珥，但以掃的子孫將他們除滅，得了他們的地，接着居住，就如以色列在耶和華賜給他為業之地所行的一樣。）

xiān qián ， hé lì rén yě zhù zài xī ěr ， dàn yǐ sǎo de zǐ sūn jiāng tā men chú miè ， dé le tā men de dì ， jiē zhe jū zhù ， jiù rú yǐ sè liè zài yē hé huá cì gěi tā wèi yè zhī dì suǒ xíng de yí yàng 。

The Horites also lived in Seir in the past, but the children of Esau succeeded them. They destroyed them from before them, and lived in their place, as Israel did to the land of his possession, which the LORD gave to them.)

現在，起來過撒烈溪！於是我們過了撒烈溪。

xiàn zài ， qǐ lái guò sā liè xī ！ yú shì wǒ men guò le sā liè xī 。

“Now rise up and cross over the brook Zered.” We went over the brook Zered.

自從離開加低斯‧巴尼亞，到過了撒烈溪的時候，共有三十八年，等那世代的兵丁都從營中滅盡，正如耶和華向他們所起的誓。

zì cóng lí kāi jiā dī sī · bā ní yà ， dào guò le sā liè xī de shí hòu ， gòng yǒu sān shí bā nián ， děng nà shì dài de bīng dīng dōu cóng yíng zhōng miè jìn ， zhèng rú yē hé huá xiàng tā men suǒ qǐ de shì 。

The days in which we came from Kadesh Barnea until we had come over the brook Zered were thirty-eight years, until all the generation of the men of war were consumed from the middle of the camp, as the LORD swore to them.

耶和華的手也攻擊他們，將他們從營中除滅，直到滅盡。

yē hé huá de shǒu yě gōng jī tā men ， jiāng tā men cóng yíng zhōng chú miè ， zhí dào miè jìn 。

Moreover the LORD’s hand was against them, to destroy them from the middle of the camp, until they were consumed.

「兵丁從民中都滅盡死亡以後，

「 bīng dīng cóng mín zhōng dū miè jìn sǐ wáng yǐ hòu ，

So, when all the men of war were consumed and dead from among the people,

耶和華吩咐我說：

yē hé huá fēn fù wǒ shuō ：

the LORD spoke to me, saying,

『你今天要從摩押的境界亞珥經過，

『 nǐ jīn tiān yào cóng mó yā de jìng jiè yà ěr jīng guò ，

“You are to pass over Ar, the border of Moab, today.

走近亞捫人之地，不可擾害他們，也不可與他們爭戰。亞捫人的地，我不賜給你們為業，因我已將那地賜給羅得的子孫為業。』（

zǒu jìn yà mén rén zhī dì ， bù kě rǎo hài tā men ， yě bù kě yǔ tā men zhēng zhàn 。 yà mén rén de dì ， wǒ bú cì gěi nǐ men wèi yè ， yīn wǒ yǐ jiāng nà dì cì gěi luó dé de zǐ sūn wèi yè 。』

When you come near the border of the children of Ammon, don’t bother them, nor contend with them; for I will not give you any of the land of the children of Ammon for a possession, because I have given it to the children of Lot for a possession.”

那地也算為利乏音人之地，先前利乏音人住在那裏，亞捫人稱他們為散送冥。

nà dì yě suàn wèi lì fá yīn rén zhī dì ， xiān qián lì fá yīn rén zhù zài nà lǐ ， yà mén rén chēng tā men wèi sàn sòng míng 。

(That also is considered a land of Rephaim. Rephaim lived there in the past, but the Ammonites call them Zamzummim,

那民眾多，身體高大，像亞衲人一樣，但耶和華從亞捫人面前除滅他們，亞捫人就得了他們的地，接着居住。

nà mín zhòng duō ， shēn tǐ gāo dà ， xiàng yà nà rén yí yàng ， dàn yē hé huá cóng yà mén rén miàn qián chú miè tā men ， yà mén rén jiù dé le tā men de dì ， jiē zhe jū zhù 。

a great people, many, and tall, as the Anakim; but the LORD destroyed them from before Israel, and they succeeded them, and lived in their place,

正如耶和華從前為住西珥的以掃子孫將何利人從他們面前除滅、他們得了何利人的地、接着居住一樣，直到今日。

zhèng rú yē hé huá cóng qián wèi zhù xī ěr de yǐ sǎo zǐ sūn jiāng hé lì rén cóng tā men miàn qián chú miè 、 tā men dé le hé lì rén de dì 、 jiē zhe jū zhù yí yàng ， zhí dào jīn rì 。

as he did for the children of Esau who dwell in Seir, when he destroyed the Horites from before them; and they succeeded them, and lived in their place even to this day.

從迦斐託出來的迦斐託人將先前住在鄉村直到迦薩的亞衛人除滅，接着居住。）

cóng jiā fěi tuō chū lái de jiā fěi tuō rén jiāng xiān qián zhù zài xiāng cūn zhí dào jiā sà de yà wèi rén chú miè ， jiē zhe jū zhù 。

Then the Avvim, who lived in villages as far as Gaza: the Caphtorim, who came out of Caphtor, destroyed them and lived in their place.)

你們起來前往，過亞嫩谷；我已將亞摩利人希實本王西宏和他的地交在你手中，你要與他爭戰，得他的地為業。

nǐ men qǐ lái qián wǎng ， guò yà nèn gǔ ； wǒ yǐ jiāng yà mó lì rén xī shí běn wáng xī hóng hé tā de dì jiāo zài nǐ shǒu zhōng ， nǐ yào yǔ tā zhēng zhàn ， dé tā de dì wèi yè 。

“Rise up, take your journey, and pass over the valley of the Arnon. Behold, I have given into your hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land; begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle.

從今日起，我要使天下萬民聽見你的名聲都驚恐懼怕，且因你發顫傷慟。」

cóng jīn rì qǐ ， wǒ yào shǐ tiān xià wàn mín tīng jiàn nǐ de míng shēng dōu jīng kǒng jù pà ， qiě yīn nǐ fā chàn shāng tòng 。」

Today I will begin to put the dread of you and the fear of you on the peoples who are under the whole sky, who shall hear the report of you, and shall tremble and be in anguish because of you.”

「我從基底莫的曠野差遣使者去見希實本王西宏，用和睦的話說：

「 wǒ cóng jī dǐ mò de kuàng yě chāi qiǎn shǐ zhě qù jiàn xī shí běn wáng xī hóng ， yòng hé mù de huà shuō ：

I sent messengers out of the wilderness of Kedemoth to Sihon king of Heshbon with words of peace, saying,

『求你容我從你的地經過，只走大道，不偏左右。

『 qiú nǐ róng wǒ cóng nǐ de dì jīng guò ， zhī zǒu dà dào ， bù piān zuǒ yòu 。

“Let me pass through your land. I will go along by the highway. I will turn neither to the right hand nor to the left.

你可以賣糧給我吃，也可以賣水給我喝，只要容我步行過去，

nǐ kě yǐ mài liáng gěi wǒ chī ， yě kě yǐ mài shuǐ gěi wǒ hē ， zhǐ yào róng wǒ bù xíng guò qù ，

You shall sell me food for money, that I may eat; and give me water for money, that I may drink. Just let me pass through on my feet,

就如住西珥的以掃子孫和住亞珥的摩押人待我一樣，等我過了約旦河，好進入耶和華－我們上帝所賜給我們的地。』

jiù rú zhù xī ěr de yǐ sǎo zǐ sūn hé zhù yà ěr de mó yā rén dài wǒ yí yàng ， děng wǒ guò le yuē dàn hé ， hǎo jìn rù yē hé huá — wǒ men shén suǒ cì gěi wǒ men de dì 。』

as the children of Esau who dwell in Seir, and the Moabites who dwell in Ar, did to me, until I pass over the Jordan into the land which the LORD our God gives us.”

但希實本王西宏不容我們從他那裏經過；因為耶和華－你的上帝使他心中剛硬，性情頑梗，為要將他交在你手中，像今日一樣。

dàn xī shí běn wáng xī hóng bù róng wǒ men cóng tā nà lǐ jīng guò ； yīn wèi yē hé huá — nǐ de shén shǐ tā xīn zhōng gāng yìng ， xìng qíng wán gěng ， wèi yào jiāng tā jiāo zài nǐ shǒu zhōng ， xiàng jīn rì yí yàng 。

But Sihon king of Heshbon would not let us pass by him, for the LORD your God hardened his spirit and made his heart obstinate, that he might deliver him into your hand, as it is today.

耶和華對我說：『從此起首，我要將西宏和他的地交給你；你要得他的地為業。』

yē hé huá duì wǒ shuō ：『 cóng cǐ qǐ shǒu ， wǒ yào jiāng xī hóng hé tā de dì jiāo gěi nǐ ； nǐ yào dé tā de dì wèi yè 。』

The LORD said to me, “Behold, I have begun to deliver up Sihon and his land before you. Begin to possess, that you may inherit his land.”

那時，西宏和他的眾民出來攻擊我們，在雅雜與我們交戰。

nà shí ， xī hóng hé tā de zhòng mín chū lái gōng jī wǒ men ， zài yǎ zá yǔ wǒ men jiāo zhàn 。

Then Sihon came out against us, he and all his people, to battle at Jahaz.

耶和華－我們的上帝將他交給我們，我們就把他和他的兒子，並他的眾民，都擊殺了。

yē hé huá — wǒ men de shén jiāng tā jiāo gěi wǒ men ， wǒ men jiù bǎ tā hé tā de ér zi ， bìng tā de zhòng mín ， dōu jī shā le 。

The LORD our God delivered him up before us; and we struck him, his sons, and all his people.

我們奪了他的一切城邑，將有人煙的各城，連女人帶孩子，盡都毀滅，沒有留下一個。

wǒ men duó le tā de yí qiè chéng yì ， jiāng yǒu rén yān de gè chéng ， lián nǚ rén dài hái zi ， jìn dōu huǐ miè ， méi yǒu liú xià yí gè 。

We took all his cities at that time, and utterly destroyed every inhabited city, with the women and the little ones. We left no one remaining.

惟有牲畜和所奪的各城，並其中的財物，都取為自己的掠物。

wéi yǒu shēng chù hé suǒ duó de gè chéng ， bìng qí zhōng de cái wù ， dōu qǔ wèi zì jǐ de lüè wù 。

Only the livestock we took for plunder for ourselves, with the plunder of the cities which we had taken.

從亞嫩谷邊的亞羅珥和谷中的城，直到基列，耶和華－我們的上帝都交給我們了，沒有一座城高得使我們不能攻取的。

cóng yà nèn gǔ biān de yà luó ěr hé gǔ zhōng de chéng ， zhí dào jī liè ， yē hé huá — wǒ men de shén dōu jiāo gěi wǒ men le ， méi yǒu yí zuò chéng gāo dé shǐ wǒ men bù néng gōng qǔ de 。

From Aroer, which is on the edge of the valley of the Arnon, and the city that is in the valley, even to Gilead, there was not a city too high for us. The LORD our God delivered up all before us.

惟有亞捫人之地，凡靠近雅博河的地，並山地的城邑，與耶和華－我們上帝所禁止我們去的地方，都沒有挨近。」

wéi yǒu yà mén rén zhī dì ， fán kào jìn yǎ bó hé de dì ， bìng shān dì de chéng yì ， yǔ yē hé huá — wǒ men shén suǒ jìn zhǐ wǒ men qù de dì fāng ， dōu méi yǒu āi jìn 。」

Only to the land of the children of Ammon you didn’t come near: all the banks of the river Jabbok, and the cities of the hill country, and wherever the LORD our God forbade us.
