出埃及記 22

「人若偷牛或羊，無論是宰了，是賣了，他就要以五牛賠一牛，四羊賠一羊。

「 rén ruò tōu niú huò yáng ， wú lùn shì zǎi le ， shì mài le ， tā jiù yào yǐ wǔ niú péi yì niú ， sì yáng péi yì yáng 。

“If a man steals an ox or a sheep, and kills it or sells it, he shall pay five oxen for an ox, and four sheep for a sheep.

人若遇見賊挖窟窿，把賊打了，以至於死，就不能為他有流血的罪。

rén ruò yù jiàn zéi wā kū lóng ， bǎ zéi dǎ le ， yǐ zhì yú sǐ ， jiù bù néng wèi tā yǒu liú xuè de zuì 。

If the thief is found breaking in, and is struck so that he dies, there shall be no guilt of bloodshed for him.

若太陽已經出來，就為他有流血的罪。賊若被拿，總要賠還。若他一無所有，就要被賣，頂他所偷的物。

ruò tài yáng yǐ jīng chū lái ， jiù wèi tā yǒu liú xuè de zuì 。 zéi ruò bèi ná ， zǒng yào péi huán 。 ruò tā yì wú suǒ yǒu ， jiù yào bèi mài ， dǐng tā suǒ tōu de wù 。

If the sun has risen on him, he is guilty of bloodshed. He shall make restitution. If he has nothing, then he shall be sold for his theft.

若他所偷的，或牛，或驢，或羊，仍在他手下存活，他就要加倍賠還。

ruò tā suǒ tōu de ， huò niú ， huò lǘ ， huò yáng ， réng zài tā shǒu xià cún huó ， tā jiù yào jiā bèi péi huán 。

If the stolen property is found in his hand alive, whether it is ox, donkey, or sheep, he shall pay double.

「人若在田間或在葡萄園裏放牲畜，任憑牲畜上別人的田裏去吃，就必拿自己田間上好的和葡萄園上好的賠還。

「 rén ruò zài tián jiàn huò zài pú táo yuán lǐ fàng shēng chù ， rèn píng shēng chù shàng bié rén de tián lǐ qù chī ， jiù bì ná zì jǐ tián jiān shàng hǎo de hé pú táo yuán shàng hǎo de péi huán 。

“If a man causes a field or vineyard to be eaten by letting his animal loose, and it grazes in another man’s field, he shall make restitution from the best of his own field, and from the best of his own vineyard.

「若點火焚燒荊棘，以致將別人堆積的禾捆，站着的禾稼，或是田園，都燒盡了，那點火的必要賠還。

「 ruò diǎn huǒ fén shāo jīng jí ， yǐ zhì jiāng bié rén duī jī de hé kǔn ， zhàn zhe de hé jià ， huò shì tián yuán ， dōu shāo jìn le ， nà diǎn huǒ de bì yào péi huán 。

“If fire breaks out, and catches in thorns so that the shocks of grain, or the standing grain, or the field are consumed; he who kindled the fire shall surely make restitution.

「人若將銀錢或家具交付鄰舍看守，這物從那人的家被偷去，若把賊找到了，賊要加倍賠還；

「 rén ruò jiāng yín qián huò jiā jù jiāo fù lín shè kān shǒu ， zhè wù cóng nà rén de jiā bèi tōu qù ， ruò bǎ zéi zhǎo dào le ， zéi yào jiā bèi péi huán ；

“If a man delivers to his neighbor money or stuff to keep, and it is stolen out of the man’s house, if the thief is found, he shall pay double.

若找不到賊，那家主必就近審判官，要看看他拿了原主的物件沒有。

ruò zhǎo bú dào zéi ， nà jiā zhǔ bì jiù jìn shěn pàn guān ， yào kàn kàn tā ná le yuán zhǔ de wù jiàn méi yǒu 。

If the thief isn’t found, then the master of the house shall come near to God, to find out whether or not he has put his hand on his neighbor’s goods.

「兩個人的案件，無論是為甚麼過犯，或是為牛，為驢，為羊，為衣裳，或是為甚麼失掉之物，有一人說：『這是我的』，兩造就要將案件稟告審判官，審判官定誰有罪，誰就要加倍賠還。

「 liǎng gè rén de àn jiàn ， wú lùn shì wèi shén me guò fàn ， huò shì wèi niú ， wèi lǘ ， wèi yáng ， wèi yī shang ， huò shì wèi shén me shī diào zhī wù ， yǒu yì rén shuō ：『 zhè shì wǒ de 』， liǎng zào jiù yào jiāng àn jiàn bǐng gào shěn pàn guān ， shěn pàn guān dìng shuí yǒu zuì ， shuí jiù yào jiā bèi péi huán 。

For every matter of trespass, whether it is for ox, for donkey, for sheep, for clothing, or for any kind of lost thing, about which one says, ‘This is mine,’ the cause of both parties shall come before God. He whom God condemns shall pay double to his neighbor.

「人若將驢，或牛，或羊，或別的牲畜，交付鄰舍看守，牲畜或死，或受傷，或被趕去，無人看見，

「 rén ruò jiāng lǘ ， huò niú ， huò yáng ， huò bié de shēng chù ， jiāo fù lín shè kān shǒu ， shēng chù huò sǐ ， huò shòu shāng ， huò bèi gǎn qù ， wú rén kàn jiàn ，

“If a man delivers to his neighbor a donkey, an ox, a sheep, or any animal to keep, and it dies or is injured, or driven away, no man seeing it;

那看守的人要憑着耶和華起誓，手裏未曾拿鄰舍的物，本主就要罷休，看守的人不必賠還。

nà kān shǒu de rén yào píng zhe yē hé huá qǐ shì ， shǒu lǐ wèi céng ná lín shè de wù ， běn zhǔ jiù yào bà xiū ， kān shǒu de rén bú bì péi huán 。

the oath of the LORD shall be between them both, he has not put his hand on his neighbor’s goods; and its owner shall accept it, and he shall not make restitution.

牲畜若從看守的那裏被偷去，他就要賠還本主；

shēng chù ruò cóng kān shǒu de nà lǐ bèi tōu qù ， tā jiù yào péi huán běn zhǔ ；

But if it is stolen from him, the one who stole shall make restitution to its owner.

若被野獸撕碎，看守的要帶來當作證據，所撕的不必賠還。

ruò bèi yě shòu sī suì ， kān shǒu de yào dài lái dàng zuò zhèng jù ， suǒ sī de bú bì péi huán 。

If it is torn in pieces, let him bring it for evidence. He shall not make good that which was torn.

「人若向鄰舍借甚麼，所借的或受傷，或死，本主沒有同在一處，借的人總要賠還；

「 rén ruò xiàng lín shè jiè shén me ， suǒ jiè de huò shòu shāng ， huò sǐ ， běn zhǔ méi yǒu tóng zài yí chù ， jiè de rén zǒng yào péi huán ；

“If a man borrows anything of his neighbor’s, and it is injured, or dies, its owner not being with it, he shall surely make restitution.

若本主同在一處，他就不必賠還；若是雇的，也不必賠還，本是為雇價來的。」

ruò běn zhǔ tóng zài yí chù ， tā jiù bú bì péi huán ； ruò shì gù de ， yě bú bì péi huán ， běn shì wèi gù jià lái de 。」

If its owner is with it, he shall not make it good. If it is a leased thing, it came for its lease.

「人若引誘沒有受聘的處女，與她行淫，他總要交出聘禮，娶她為妻。

「 rén ruò yǐn yòu méi yǒu shòu pìn de chǔ nǚ ， yǔ tā xíng yín ， tā zǒng yào jiāo chū pìn lǐ ， qǔ tā wèi qī 。

“If a man entices a virgin who isn’t pledged to be married, and lies with her, he shall surely pay a dowry for her to be his wife.

若女子的父親決不肯將女子給他，他就要按處女的聘禮，交出錢來。

ruò nǚ zǐ de fù qīn jué bù kěn jiāng nǚ zǐ gěi tā ， tā jiù yào àn chǔ nǚ de pìn lǐ ， jiāo chū qián lái 。

If her father utterly refuses to give her to him, he shall pay money according to the dowry of virgins.

「行邪術的女人，不可容她存活。

「 xíng xié shù de nǚ rén ， bù kě róng tā cún huó 。

“You shall not allow a sorceress to live.

「凡與獸淫合的，總要把他治死。

「 fán yǔ shòu yín hé de ， zǒng yào bǎ tā zhì sǐ 。

“Whoever has sex with an animal shall surely be put to death.

「祭祀別神，不單單祭祀耶和華的，那人必要滅絕。

「 jì sì bié shén ， bù dān dān jì sì yē hé huá de ， nà rén bì yào miè jué 。

“He who sacrifices to any god, except to the LORD only, shall be utterly destroyed.

「不可虧負寄居的，也不可欺壓他，因為你們在埃及地也作過寄居的。

「 bù kě kuī fù jì jū de ， yě bù kě qī yā tā ， yīn wèi nǐ men zài āi jí dì yě zuò guò jì jū de 。

“You shall not wrong an alien or oppress him, for you were aliens in the land of Egypt.

不可苦待寡婦和孤兒；

bù kě kǔ dài guǎ fù hé gū ér ；

“You shall not take advantage of any widow or fatherless child.

若是苦待他們一點，他們向我一哀求，我總要聽他們的哀聲，

ruò shì kǔ dài tā men yì diǎn ， tā men xiàng wǒ yì āi qiú ， wǒ zǒng yào tīng tā men de āi shēng ，

If you take advantage of them at all, and they cry at all to me, I will surely hear their cry;

並要發烈怒，用刀殺你們，使你們的妻子為寡婦，兒女為孤兒。

bìng yào fā liè nù ， yòng dāo shā nǐ men ， shǐ nǐ men de qī zǐ wèi guǎ fù ， ér nǚ wèi gū ér 。

and my wrath will grow hot, and I will kill you with the sword; and your wives shall be widows, and your children fatherless.

「我民中有貧窮人與你同住，你若借錢給他，不可如放債的向他取利。

「 wǒ mín zhōng yǒu pín qióng rén yǔ nǐ tóng zhù ， nǐ ruò jiè qián gěi tā ， bù kě rú fàng zhài de xiàng tā qǔ lì 。

“If you lend money to any of my people with you who is poor, you shall not be to him as a creditor. You shall not charge him interest.

你即或拿鄰舍的衣服作當頭，必在日落以先歸還他；

nǐ jí huò ná lín shè de yī fu zuò dāng tóu ， bì zài rì luò yǐ xiān guī huán tā ；

If you take your neighbor’s garment as collateral, you shall restore it to him before the sun goes down,

因他只有這一件當蓋頭，是他蓋身的衣服，若是沒有，他拿甚麼睡覺呢？他哀求我，我就應允，因為我是有恩惠的。

yīn tā zhǐ yǒu zhè yí jiàn dāng gài tou ， shì tā gài shēn de yī fu ， ruò shì méi yǒu ， tā ná shén me shuì jiào ne ？ tā āi qiú wǒ ， wǒ jiù yīng yǔn ， yīn wèi wǒ shì yǒu ēn huì de 。

for that is his only covering, it is his garment for his skin. What would he sleep in? It will happen, when he cries to me, that I will hear, for I am gracious.

「不可毀謗上帝；也不可毀謗你百姓的官長。

「 bù kě huǐ bàng shén ； yě bù kě huǐ bàng nǐ bǎi xìng de guān zhǎng 。

“You shall not blaspheme God, nor curse a ruler of your people.

「你要從你莊稼中的穀和酒醡中滴出來的酒拿來獻上，不可遲延。 「你要將頭生的兒子歸給我。

「 nǐ yào cóng nǐ zhuāng jia zhōng de gǔ hé jiǔ zhà zhōng dī chū lái de jiǔ ná lái xiàn shàng ， bù kě chí yán 。 「 nǐ yào jiāng tóu shēng de ér zi guī gěi wǒ 。

“You shall not delay to offer from your harvest and from the outflow of your presses. “You shall give the firstborn of your sons to me.

你牛羊頭生的，也要這樣；七天當跟着母，第八天要歸給我。

nǐ niú yáng tóu shēng de ， yě yào zhè yàng ； qī tiān dāng gēn zhe mǔ ， dì bā tiān yào guī gěi wǒ 。

You shall do likewise with your cattle and with your sheep. It shall be with its mother seven days, then on the eighth day you shall give it to me.

「你們要在我面前為聖潔的人。因此，田間被野獸撕裂牲畜的肉，你們不可吃，要丟給狗吃。」

「 nǐ men yào zài wǒ miàn qián wèi shèng jié de rén 。 yīn cǐ ， tián jiān bèi yě shòu sī liè shēng chù de ròu ， nǐ men bù kě chī ， yào diū gěi gǒu chī 。」

“You shall be holy men to me, therefore you shall not eat any meat that is torn by animals in the field. You shall cast it to the dogs.
