創世記 39

約瑟被帶下埃及去。有一個埃及人，是法老的內臣－護衛長波提乏，從那些帶下他來的以實瑪利人手下買了他去。

yuē sè bèi dài xià āi jí qù 。 yǒu yí gè āi jí rén ， shì fǎ lǎo de nèi chén — hù wèi cháng bō tí fá ， cóng nà xiē dài xià tā lái de yǐ shí mǎ lì rén shǒu xià mǎi le tā qù 。

Joseph was brought down to Egypt. Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh’s, the captain of the guard, an Egyptian, bought him from the hand of the Ishmaelites that had brought him down there.

約瑟住在他主人埃及人的家中，耶和華與他同在，他就百事順利。

yuē sè zhù zài tā zhǔ rén āi jí rén de jiā zhōng ， yē hé huá yǔ tā tóng zài ， tā jiù bǎi shì shùn lì 。

The LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man. He was in the house of his master the Egyptian.

他主人見耶和華與他同在，又見耶和華使他手裏所辦的盡都順利，

tā zhǔ rén jiàn yē hé huá yǔ tā tóng zài ， yòu jiàn yē hé huá shǐ tā shǒu lǐ suǒ bàn de jìn dōu shùn lì ，

His master saw that the LORD was with him, and that the LORD made all that he did prosper in his hand.

約瑟就在主人眼前蒙恩，伺候他主人，並且主人派他管理家務，把一切所有的都交在他手裏。

yuē sè jiù zài zhǔ rén yǎn qián méng ēn ， cì hou tā zhǔ rén ， bìng qiě zhǔ rén pài tā guǎn lǐ jiā wù ， bǎ yí qiè suǒ yǒu de dōu jiāo zài tā shǒu lǐ 。

Joseph found favor in his sight. He ministered to him, and Potiphar made him overseer over his house, and all that he had he put into his hand.

自從主人派約瑟管理家務和他一切所有的，耶和華就因約瑟的緣故賜福與那埃及人的家；凡家裏和田間一切所有的都蒙耶和華賜福。

zì cóng zhǔ rén pài yuē sè guǎn lǐ jiā wù hé tā yí qiè suǒ yǒu de ， yē hé huá jiù yīn yuē sè de yuán gù cì fú yǔ nà āi jí rén de jiā ； fán jiā lǐ hé tián jiān yí qiè suǒ yǒu de dōu méng yē hé huá cì fú 。

From the time that he made him overseer in his house, and over all that he had, the LORD blessed the Egyptian’s house for Joseph’s sake. The LORD’s blessing was on all that he had, in the house and in the field.

波提乏將一切所有的都交在約瑟的手中，除了自己所吃的飯，別的事一概不知。 約瑟原來秀雅俊美。

bō tí fá jiāng yí qiè suǒ yǒu de dōu jiāo zài yuē sè de shǒu zhōng ， chú le zì jǐ suǒ chī de fàn ， bié de shì yí gài bù zhī 。 yuē sè yuán lái xiù yǎ jùn měi 。

He left all that he had in Joseph’s hand. He didn’t concern himself with anything, except for the food which he ate. Joseph was well-built and handsome.

這事以後，約瑟主人的妻以目送情給約瑟，說：「你與我同寢吧！」

zhè shì yǐ hòu ， yuē sè zhǔ rén de qī yǐ mù sòng qíng gěi yuē sè ， shuō ：「 nǐ yǔ wǒ tóng qǐn ba ！」

After these things, his master’s wife set her eyes on Joseph; and she said, “Lie with me.”

約瑟不從，對他主人的妻說：「看哪，一切家務，我主人都不知道；他把所有的都交在我手裏。

yuē sè bù cóng ， duì tā zhǔ rén de qī shuō ：「 kàn nǎ ， yí qiè jiā wù ， wǒ zhǔ rén dōu bù zhī dào ； tā bǎ suǒ yǒu de dōu jiāo zài wǒ shǒu lǐ 。

But he refused, and said to his master’s wife, “Behold, my master doesn’t know what is with me in the house, and he has put all that he has into my hand.

在這家裏沒有比我大的；並且他沒有留下一樣不交給我，只留下了你，因為你是他的妻子。我怎能作這大惡，得罪上帝呢？」

zài zhè jiā lǐ méi yǒu bǐ wǒ dà de ； bìng qiě tā méi yǒu liú xià yí yàng bù jiāo gěi wǒ ， zhī liú xià le nǐ ， yīn wèi nǐ shì tā de qī zǐ 。 wǒ zěn néng zuò zhè dà è ， dé zuì shén ne ？」

No one is greater in this house than I am, and he has not kept back anything from me but you, because you are his wife. How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?”

後來她天天和約瑟說，約瑟卻不聽從她，不與她同寢，也不和她在一處。

hòu lái tā tiān tiān hé yuē sè shuō ， yuē sè què bù tīng cóng tā ， bù yǔ tā tóng qǐn ， yě bù hé tā zài yí chù 。

As she spoke to Joseph day by day, he didn’t listen to her, to lie by her, or to be with her.

有一天，約瑟進屋裏去辦事，家中人沒有一個在那屋裏，

yǒu yì tiān ， yuē sè jìn wū lǐ qù bàn shì ， jiā zhōng rén méi yǒu yí gè zài nà wū lǐ ，

About this time, he went into the house to do his work, and there were none of the men of the house inside.

婦人就拉住他的衣裳，說：「你與我同寢吧！」約瑟把衣裳丟在婦人手裏，跑到外邊去了。

fù rén jiù lā zhù tā de yī shang ， shuō ：「 nǐ yǔ wǒ tóng qǐn ba ！」 yuē sè bǎ yī shang diū zài fù rén shǒu lǐ ， pǎo dào wài biān qù le 。

She caught him by his garment, saying, “Lie with me!” He left his garment in her hand, and ran outside.

婦人看見約瑟把衣裳丟在她手裏跑出去了，

fù rén kàn jiàn yuē sè bǎ yī shang diū zài tā shǒu lǐ pǎo chū qù le ，

When she saw that he had left his garment in her hand, and had run outside,

就叫了家裏的人來，對他們說：「你們看！他帶了一個希伯來人進入我們家裏，要戲弄我們。他到我這裏來，要與我同寢，我就大聲喊叫。

jiù jiào le jiā lǐ de rén lái ， duì tā men shuō ：「 nǐ men kàn ！ tā dài le yí gè xī bó lái rén jìn rù wǒ men jiā lǐ ， yào xì nòng wǒ men 。 tā dào wǒ zhè lǐ lái ， yào yǔ wǒ tóng qǐn ， wǒ jiù dà shēng hǎn jiào 。

she called to the men of her house, and spoke to them, saying, “Behold, he has brought a Hebrew in to us to mock us. He came in to me to lie with me, and I cried with a loud voice.

他聽見我放聲喊起來，就把衣裳丟在我這裏，跑到外邊去了。」

tā tīng jiàn wǒ fàng shēng hǎn qǐ lái ， jiù bǎ yī shang diū zài wǒ zhè lǐ ， pǎo dào wài biān qù le 。」

When he heard that I lifted up my voice and cried, he left his garment by me, and ran outside.”

婦人把約瑟的衣裳放在自己那裏，等着他主人回家，

fù rén bǎ yuē sè de yī shang fàng zài zì jǐ nà lǐ ， děng zhe tā zhǔ rén huí jiā ，

She laid up his garment by her, until his master came home.

就對他如此如此說：「你所帶到我們這裏的那希伯來僕人進來要戲弄我，

jiù duì tā rú cǐ rú cǐ shuō ：「 nǐ suǒ dài dào wǒ men zhè lǐ de nà xī bó lái pú rén jìn lái yào xì nòng wǒ ，

She spoke to him according to these words, saying, “The Hebrew servant, whom you have brought to us, came in to me to mock me,

我放聲喊起來，他就把衣裳丟在我這裏，跑出去了。」

wǒ fàng shēng hǎn qǐ lái ， tā jiù bǎ yī shang diū zài wǒ zhè lǐ ， pǎo chū qù le 。」

and as I lifted up my voice and cried, he left his garment by me, and ran outside.”

約瑟的主人聽見他妻子對他所說的話，說「你的僕人如此如此待我」，他就生氣，

yuē sè de zhǔ rén tīng jiàn tā qī zǐ duì tā suǒ shuō de huà ， shuō 「 nǐ de pú rén rú cǐ rú cǐ dài wǒ 」， tā jiù shēng qì ，

When his master heard the words of his wife, which she spoke to him, saying, “This is what your servant did to me,” his wrath was kindled.

把約瑟下在監裏，就是王的囚犯被囚的地方。於是約瑟在那裏坐監。

bǎ yuē sè xià zài jiān lǐ ， jiù shì wáng de qiú fàn bèi qiú de dì fāng 。 yú shì yuē sè zài nà lǐ zuò jiān 。

Joseph’s master took him, and put him into the prison, the place where the king’s prisoners were bound, and he was there in custody.

但耶和華與約瑟同在，向他施恩，使他在司獄的眼前蒙恩。

dàn yē hé huá yǔ yuē sè tóng zài ， xiàng tā shī ēn ， shǐ tā zài sī yù de yǎn qián méng ēn 。

But the LORD was with Joseph, and showed kindness to him, and gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison.

司獄就把監裏所有的囚犯都交在約瑟的手下；他們在那裏所辦的事都是經他的手。

sī yù jiù bǎ jiān lǐ suǒ yǒu de qiú fàn dōu jiāo zài yuē sè de shǒu xià ； tā men zài nà lǐ suǒ bàn de shì dōu shì jīng tā de shǒu 。

The keeper of the prison committed to Joseph’s hand all the prisoners who were in the prison. Whatever they did there, he was responsible for it.

凡在約瑟手下的事，司獄一概不察，因為耶和華與約瑟同在；耶和華使他所做的盡都順利。

fán zài yuē sè shǒu xià de shì ， sī yù yí gài bù chá ， yīn wèi yē hé huá yǔ yuē sè tóng zài ； yē hé huá shǐ tā suǒ zuò de jìn dōu shùn lì 。

The keeper of the prison didn’t look after anything that was under his hand, because the LORD was with him; and that which he did, the LORD made it prosper.
