創世記 40

這事以後，埃及王的酒政和膳長得罪了他們的主－埃及王，

zhè shì yǐ hòu ， āi jí wáng de jiǔ zhèng hé shàn cháng dé zuì le tā men de zhǔ — āi jí wáng ，

After these things, the butler of the king of Egypt and his baker offended their lord, the king of Egypt.

法老就惱怒酒政和膳長這二臣，

fǎ lǎo jiù nǎo nù jiǔ zhèng hé shàn cháng zhè èr chén ，

Pharaoh was angry with his two officers, the chief cup bearer and the chief baker.

把他們下在護衛長府內的監裏，就是約瑟被囚的地方。

bǎ tā men xià zài hù wèi cháng fǔ nèi de jiān lǐ ， jiù shì yuē sè bèi qiú de dì fāng 。

He put them in custody in the house of the captain of the guard, into the prison, the place where Joseph was bound.

護衛長把他們交給約瑟，約瑟便伺候他們；他們有些日子在監裏。

hù wèi cháng bǎ tā men jiāo gěi yuē sè ， yuē sè biàn cì hou tā men ； tā men yǒu xiē rì zi zài jiān lǐ 。

The captain of the guard assigned them to Joseph, and he took care of them. They stayed in prison many days.

被囚在監之埃及王的酒政和膳長二人同夜各做一夢，各夢都有講解。

bèi qiú zài jiān zhī āi jí wáng de jiǔ zhèng hé shàn cháng èr rén tóng yè gè zuò yí mèng ， gè mèng dōu yǒu jiǎng jiě 。

They both dreamed a dream, each man his dream, in one night, each man according to the interpretation of his dream, the cup bearer and the baker of the king of Egypt, who were bound in the prison.

到了早晨，約瑟進到他們那裏，見他們有愁悶的樣子。

dào le zǎo chén ， yuē sè jìn dào tā men nà lǐ ， jiàn tā men yǒu chóu mèn de yàng zi 。

Joseph came in to them in the morning, and saw them, and saw that they were sad.

他便問法老的二臣，就是與他同囚在他主人府裏的，說：「你們今日為甚麼面帶愁容呢？」

tā biàn wèn fǎ lǎo de èr chén ， jiù shì yǔ tā tóng qiú zài tā zhǔ rén fǔ lǐ de ， shuō ：「 nǐ men jīn rì wèi shén me miàn dài chóu róng ne ？」

He asked Pharaoh’s officers who were with him in custody in his master’s house, saying, “Why do you look so sad today?”

他們對他說：「我們各人做了一夢，沒有人能解。」約瑟說：「解夢不是出於上帝嗎？請你們將夢告訴我。」

tā men duì tā shuō ：「 wǒ men gè rén zuò le yí mèng ， méi yǒu rén néng jiě 。」 yuē sè shuō ：「 jiě mèng bú shì chū yú shén ma ？ qǐng nǐ men jiāng mèng gào sù wǒ 。」

They said to him, “We have dreamed a dream, and there is no one who can interpret it.” Joseph said to them, “Don’t interpretations belong to God? Please tell it to me.”

酒政便將他的夢告訴約瑟說：「我夢見在我面前有一棵葡萄樹，

jiǔ zhèng biàn jiāng tā de mèng gào sù yuē sè shuō ：「 wǒ mèng jiàn zài wǒ miàn qián yǒu yì kē pú táo shù ，

The chief cup bearer told his dream to Joseph, and said to him, “In my dream, behold, a vine was in front of me,

樹上有三根枝子，好像發了芽，開了花，上頭的葡萄都成熟了。

shù shàng yǒu sān gēn zhī zǐ ， hǎo xiàng fā le yá ， kāi le huā ， shàng tóu de pú táo dōu chéng shú le 。

and in the vine were three branches. It was as though it budded, it blossomed, and its clusters produced ripe grapes.

法老的杯在我手中，我就拿葡萄擠在法老的杯裏，將杯遞在他手中。」

fǎ lǎo de bēi zài wǒ shǒu zhōng ， wǒ jiù ná pú táo jǐ zài fǎ lǎo de bēi lǐ ， jiāng bēi dì zài tā shǒu zhōng 。」

Pharaoh’s cup was in my hand; and I took the grapes, and pressed them into Pharaoh’s cup, and I gave the cup into Pharaoh’s hand.”

約瑟對他說：「你所做的夢是這樣解：三根枝子就是三天；

yuē sè duì tā shuō ：「 nǐ suǒ zuò de mèng shì zhè yàng jiě ： sān gēn zhī zǐ jiù shì sān tiān ；

Joseph said to him, “This is its interpretation: the three branches are three days.

三天之內，法老必提你出監，叫你官復原職，你仍要遞杯在法老的手中，和先前作他的酒政一樣。

sān tiān zhī nèi ， fǎ lǎo bì tí nǐ chū jiān ， jiào nǐ guān fù yuán zhí ， nǐ réng yào dì bēi zài fǎ lǎo de shǒu zhōng ， hé xiān qián zuò tā de jiǔ zhèng yí yàng 。

Within three more days, Pharaoh will lift up your head, and restore you to your office. You will give Pharaoh’s cup into his hand, the way you did when you were his cup bearer.

但你得好處的時候，求你記念我，施恩與我，在法老面前提說我，救我出這監牢。

dàn nǐ dé hǎo chù de shí hòu ， qiú nǐ jì niàn wǒ ， shī ēn yǔ wǒ ， zài fǎ lǎo miàn qián tí shuō wǒ ， jiù wǒ chū zhè jiān láo 。

But remember me when it is well with you. Please show kindness to me, and make mention of me to Pharaoh, and bring me out of this house.

我實在是從希伯來人之地被拐來的；我在這裏也沒有做過甚麼，叫他們把我下在監裏。」

wǒ shí zài shì cóng xī bó lái rén zhī dì bèi guǎi lái de ； wǒ zài zhè lǐ yě méi yǒu zuò guò shén me ， jiào tā men bǎ wǒ xià zài jiān lǐ 。」

For indeed, I was stolen away out of the land of the Hebrews, and here also I have done nothing that they should put me into the dungeon.”

膳長見夢解得好，就對約瑟說：「我在夢中見我頭上頂着三筐白餅；

shàn cháng jiàn mèng jiě dé hǎo ， jiù duì yuē sè shuō ：「 wǒ zài mèng zhōng jiàn wǒ tóu shàng dǐng zhe sān kuāng bái bǐng ；

When the chief baker saw that the interpretation was good, he said to Joseph, “I also was in my dream, and behold, three baskets of white bread were on my head.

極上的筐子裏有為法老烤的各樣食物，有飛鳥來吃我頭上筐子裏的食物。」

jí shàng de kuāng zǐ lǐ yǒu wèi fǎ lǎo kǎo de gè yàng shí wù ， yǒu fēi niǎo lái chī wǒ tóu shàng kuāng zǐ lǐ de shí wù 。」

In the uppermost basket there were all kinds of baked food for Pharaoh, and the birds ate them out of the basket on my head.”

約瑟說：「你的夢是這樣解：三個筐子就是三天；

yuē sè shuō ：「 nǐ de mèng shì zhè yàng jiě ： sān gè kuāng zǐ jiù shì sān tiān ；

Joseph answered, “This is its interpretation. The three baskets are three days.

三天之內，法老必斬斷你的頭，把你掛在木頭上，必有飛鳥來吃你身上的肉。」

sān tiān zhī nèi ， fǎ lǎo bì zhǎn duàn nǐ de tóu ， bǎ nǐ guà zài mù tou shàng ， bì yǒu fēi niǎo lái chī nǐ shēn shàng de ròu 。」

Within three more days, Pharaoh will lift up your head from off you, and will hang you on a tree; and the birds will eat your flesh from off you.”

到了第三天，是法老的生日，他為眾臣僕設擺筵席，把酒政和膳長提出監來，

dào le dì sān tiān ， shì fǎ lǎo de shēng rì ， tā wèi zhòng chén pú shè bǎi yán xí ， bǎ jiǔ zhèng hé shàn cháng tí chū jiān lái ，

On the third day, which was Pharaoh’s birthday, he made a feast for all his servants, and he lifted up the head of the chief cup bearer and the head of the chief baker among his servants.

使酒政官復原職，他仍舊遞杯在法老手中；

shǐ jiǔ zhèng guān fù yuán zhí ， tā réng jiù dì bēi zài fǎ lǎo shǒu zhōng ；

He restored the chief cup bearer to his position again, and he gave the cup into Pharaoh’s hand;

但把膳長掛起來，正如約瑟向他們所解的話。

dàn bǎ shàn cháng guà qǐ lái ， zhèng rú yuē sè xiàng tā men suǒ jiě de huà 。

but he hanged the chief baker, as Joseph had interpreted to them.

酒政卻不記念約瑟，竟忘了他。

jiǔ zhèng què bú jì niàn yuē sè ， jìng wàng le tā 。

Yet the chief cup bearer didn’t remember Joseph, but forgot him.
