創世記 41

過了兩年，法老做夢，夢見自己站在河邊，

guò le liǎng nián ， fǎ lǎo zuò mèng ， mèng jiàn zì jǐ zhàn zài hé biān ，

At the end of two full years, Pharaoh dreamed, and behold, he stood by the river.

有七隻母牛從河裏上來，又美好又肥壯，在蘆荻中吃草。

yǒu qī zhī mǔ niú cóng hé lǐ shàng lái ， yòu měi hǎo yòu féi zhuàng ， zài lú dí zhōng chī cǎo 。

Behold, seven cattle came up out of the river. They were sleek and fat, and they fed in the marsh grass.

隨後又有七隻母牛從河裏上來，又醜陋又乾瘦，與那七隻母牛一同站在河邊。

suí hòu yòu yǒu qī zhī mǔ niú cóng hé lǐ shàng lái ， yòu chǒu lòu yòu gān shòu ， yǔ nà qī zhī mǔ niú yì tóng zhàn zài hé biān 。

Behold, seven other cattle came up after them out of the river, ugly and thin, and stood by the other cattle on the brink of the river.

這又醜陋又乾瘦的七隻母牛吃盡了那又美好又肥壯的七隻母牛。法老就醒了。

zhè yòu chǒu lòu yòu gān shòu de qī zhī mǔ niú chī jìn le nà yòu měi hǎo yòu féi zhuàng de qī zhī mǔ niú 。 fǎ lǎo jiù xǐng le 。

The ugly and thin cattle ate up the seven sleek and fat cattle. So Pharaoh awoke.

他又睡着，第二回做夢，夢見一棵麥子長了七個穗子，又肥大又佳美，

tā yòu shuì zháo ， dì èr huí zuò mèng ， mèng jiàn yì kē mài zi cháng le qī gè suì zǐ ， yòu féi dà yòu jiā měi ，

He slept and dreamed a second time; and behold, seven heads of grain came up on one stalk, healthy and good.

隨後又長了七個穗子，又細弱又被東風吹焦了。

suí hòu yòu cháng le qī gè suì zǐ ， yòu xì ruò yòu bèi dōng fēng chuī jiāo le 。

Behold, seven heads of grain, thin and blasted with the east wind, sprung up after them.

這細弱的穗子吞了那七個又肥大又飽滿的穗子。法老醒了，不料是個夢。

zhè xì ruò de suì zǐ tūn le nà qī gè yòu féi dà yòu bǎo mǎn de suì zǐ 。 fǎ lǎo xǐng le ， bú liào shì gè mèng 。

The thin heads of grain swallowed up the seven healthy and full ears. Pharaoh awoke, and behold, it was a dream.

到了早晨，法老心裏不安，就差人召了埃及所有的術士和博士來；法老就把所做的夢告訴他們，卻沒有人能給法老圓解。

dào le zǎo chén ， fǎ lǎo xīn lǐ bù ān ， jiù chà rén zhào le āi jí suǒ yǒu de shù shì hé bó shì lái ； fǎ lǎo jiù bǎ suǒ zuò de mèng gào sù tā men ， què méi yǒu rén néng gěi fǎ lǎo yuán jiě 。

In the morning, his spirit was troubled, and he sent and called for all of Egypt’s magicians and wise men. Pharaoh told them his dreams, but there was no one who could interpret them to Pharaoh.

那時酒政對法老說：「我今日想起我的罪來。

nà shí jiǔ zhèng duì fǎ lǎo shuō ：「 wǒ jīn rì xiǎng qǐ wǒ de zuì lái 。

Then the chief cup bearer spoke to Pharaoh, saying, “I remember my faults today.

從前法老惱怒臣僕，把我和膳長下在護衛長府內的監裏。

cóng qián fǎ lǎo nǎo nù chén pú ， bǎ wǒ hé shàn cháng xià zài hù wèi cháng fǔ nèi de jiān lǐ 。

Pharaoh was angry with his servants, and put me in custody in the house of the captain of the guard, with the chief baker.

我們二人同夜各做一夢，各夢都有講解。

wǒ men èr rén tóng yè gè zuò yí mèng ， gè mèng dōu yǒu jiǎng jiě 。

We dreamed a dream in one night, he and I. Each man dreamed according to the interpretation of his dream.

在那裏同着我們有一個希伯來的少年人，是護衛長的僕人，我們告訴他，他就把我們的夢圓解，是按着各人的夢圓解的。

zài nà lǐ tóng zhe wǒ men yǒu yí gè xī bó lái de shào nián rén ， shì hù wèi cháng de pú rén ， wǒ men gào sù tā ， tā jiù bǎ wǒ men de mèng yuán jiě ， shì àn zhe gè rén de mèng yuán jiě de 。

There was with us there a young man, a Hebrew, servant to the captain of the guard, and we told him, and he interpreted to us our dreams. He interpreted to each man according to his dream.

後來正如他給我們圓解的成就了：我官復原職，膳長被掛起來了。」

hòu lái zhèng rú tā gěi wǒ men yuán jiě de chéng jiù le ： wǒ guān fù yuán zhí ， shàn cháng bèi guà qǐ lái le 。」

As he interpreted to us, so it was. He restored me to my office, and he hanged him.”

法老遂即差人去召約瑟，他們便急忙帶他出監，他就剃頭，刮臉，換衣裳，進到法老面前。

fǎ lǎo suì jí chà rén qù zhào yuē sè ， tā men biàn jí máng dài tā chū jiān ， tā jiù tì tóu ， guā liǎn ， huàn yī shang ， jìn dào fǎ lǎo miàn qián 。

Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon. He shaved himself, changed his clothing, and came in to Pharaoh.

法老對約瑟說：「我做了一夢，沒有人能解；我聽見人說，你聽了夢就能解。」

fǎ lǎo duì yuē sè shuō ：「 wǒ zuò le yí mèng ， méi yǒu rén néng jiě ； wǒ tīng jiàn rén shuō ， nǐ tīng le mèng jiù néng jiě 。」

Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I have dreamed a dream, and there is no one who can interpret it. I have heard it said of you, that when you hear a dream you can interpret it.”

約瑟回答法老說：「這不在乎我，上帝必將平安的話回答法老。」

yuē sè huí dá fǎ lǎo shuō ：「 zhè bú zài hu wǒ ， shén bì jiāng píng ān de huà huí dá fǎ lǎo 。」

Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, “It isn’t in me. God will give Pharaoh an answer of peace.”

法老對約瑟說：「我夢見我站在河邊，

fǎ lǎo duì yuē sè shuō ：「 wǒ mèng jiàn wǒ zhàn zài hé biān ，

Pharaoh spoke to Joseph, “In my dream, behold, I stood on the brink of the river;

有七隻母牛從河裏上來，又肥壯又美好，在蘆荻中吃草。

yǒu qī zhī mǔ niú cóng hé lǐ shàng lái ， yòu féi zhuàng yòu měi hǎo ， zài lú dí zhōng chī cǎo 。

and behold, seven fat and sleek cattle came up out of the river. They fed in the marsh grass;

隨後又有七隻母牛上來，又軟弱又醜陋又乾瘦，在埃及遍地，我沒有見過這樣不好的。

suí hòu yòu yǒu qī zhī mǔ niú shàng lái ， yòu ruǎn ruò yòu chǒu lòu yòu gān shòu ， zài āi jí biàn dì ， wǒ méi yǒu jiàn guò zhè yàng bù hǎo de 。

and behold, seven other cattle came up after them, poor and very ugly and thin, such as I never saw in all the land of Egypt for ugliness.

這又乾瘦又醜陋的母牛吃盡了那以先的七隻肥母牛，

zhè yòu gān shòu yòu chǒu lòu de mǔ niú chī jìn le nà yǐ xiān de qī zhī féi mǔ niú ，

The thin and ugly cattle ate up the first seven fat cattle;

吃了以後卻看不出是吃了，那醜陋的樣子仍舊和先前一樣。我就醒了。

chī le yǐ hòu què kàn bù chū shì chī le ， nà chǒu lòu de yàng zi réng jiù hé xiān qián yí yàng 。 wǒ jiù xǐng le 。

and when they had eaten them up, it couldn’t be known that they had eaten them, but they were still ugly, as at the beginning. So I awoke.

我又夢見一棵麥子，長了七個穗子，又飽滿又佳美，

wǒ yòu mèng jiàn yì kē mài zi ， cháng le qī gè suì zǐ ， yòu bǎo mǎn yòu jiā měi ，

I saw in my dream, and behold, seven heads of grain came up on one stalk, full and good;

隨後又長了七個穗子，枯槁細弱，被東風吹焦了。

suí hòu yòu cháng le qī gè suì zǐ ， kū gǎo xì ruò ， bèi dōng fēng chuī jiāo le 。

and behold, seven heads of grain, withered, thin, and blasted with the east wind, sprung up after them.

這些細弱的穗子吞了那七個佳美的穗子。我將這夢告訴了術士，卻沒有人能給我解說。」

zhè xiē xì ruò de suì zǐ tūn le nà qī gè jiā měi de suì zǐ 。 wǒ jiāng zhè mèng gào sù le shù shì ， què méi yǒu rén néng gěi wǒ jiě shuō 。」

The thin heads of grain swallowed up the seven good heads of grain. I told it to the magicians, but there was no one who could explain it to me.”

約瑟對法老說：「法老的夢乃是一個。上帝已將所要做的事指示法老了。

yuē sè duì fǎ lǎo shuō ：「 fǎ lǎo de mèng nǎi shì yí gè 。 shén yǐ jiāng suǒ yào zuò de shì zhǐ shì fǎ lǎo le 。

Joseph said to Pharaoh, “The dream of Pharaoh is one. What God is about to do he has declared to Pharaoh.

七隻好母牛是七年，七個好穗子也是七年；這夢乃是一個。

qī zhī hǎo mǔ niú shì qī nián ， qī gè hǎo suì zǐ yě shì qī nián ； zhè mèng nǎi shì yí gè 。

The seven good cattle are seven years; and the seven good heads of grain are seven years. The dream is one.

那隨後上來的七隻又乾瘦又醜陋的母牛是七年，那七個虛空、被東風吹焦的穗子也是七年，都是七個荒年。

nà suí hòu shàng lái de qī zhī yòu gān shòu yòu chǒu lòu de mǔ niú shì qī nián ， nà qī gè xū kōng 、 bèi dōng fēng chuī jiāo de suì zǐ yě shì qī nián ， dōu shì qī gè huāng nián 。

The seven thin and ugly cattle that came up after them are seven years, and also the seven empty heads of grain blasted with the east wind; they will be seven years of famine.

這就是我對法老所說，上帝已將所要做的事顯明給法老了。

zhè jiù shì wǒ duì fǎ lǎo suǒ shuō ， shén yǐ jiāng suǒ yào zuò de shì xiǎn míng gěi fǎ lǎo le 。

That is the thing which I have spoken to Pharaoh. God has shown Pharaoh what he is about to do.

埃及遍地必來七個大豐年，

āi jí biàn dì bì lái qī gè dà fēng nián ，

Behold, seven years of great plenty throughout all the land of Egypt are coming.

隨後又要來七個荒年，甚至在埃及地都忘了先前的豐收，全地必被饑荒所滅。

suí hòu yòu yào lái qī gè huāng nián ， shèn zhì zài āi jí dì dōu wàng le xiān qián de fēng shōu ， quán dì bì bèi jī huāng suǒ miè 。

Seven years of famine will arise after them, and all the plenty will be forgotten in the land of Egypt. The famine will consume the land,

因那以後的饑荒甚大，便不覺得先前的豐收了。

yīn nà yǐ hòu de jī huāng shèn dà ， biàn bù jué de xiān qián de fēng shōu le 。

and the plenty will not be known in the land by reason of that famine which follows; for it will be very grievous.

至於法老兩回做夢，是因上帝命定這事，而且必速速成就。

zhì yú fǎ lǎo liǎng huí zuò mèng ， shì yīn shén mìng dìng zhè shì ， ér qiě bì sù sù chéng jiù 。

The dream was doubled to Pharaoh, because the thing is established by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass.

所以，法老當揀選一個有聰明有智慧的人，派他治理埃及地。

suǒ yǐ ， fǎ lǎo dāng jiǎn xuǎn yí gè yǒu cōng ming yǒu zhì huì de rén ， pài tā zhì lǐ āi jí dì 。

“Now therefore let Pharaoh look for a discreet and wise man, and set him over the land of Egypt.

法老當這樣行，又派官員管理這地。當七個豐年的時候，征收埃及地的五分之一，

fǎ lǎo dāng zhè yàng xíng ， yòu pài guān yuán guǎn lǐ zhè dì 。 dāng qī gè fēng nián de shí hòu ， zhēng shōu āi jí dì de wǔ fēn zhī yī ，

Let Pharaoh do this, and let him appoint overseers over the land, and take up the fifth part of the land of Egypt’s produce in the seven plenteous years.

叫他們把將來豐年一切的糧食聚斂起來，積蓄五穀，收存在各城裏做食物，歸於法老的手下。

jiào tā men bǎ jiāng lái fēng nián yí qiè de liáng shí jù liǎn qǐ lái ， jī xù wǔ gǔ ， shōu cún zài gè chéng lǐ zuò shí wù ， guī yú fǎ lǎo de shǒu xià 。

Let them gather all the food of these good years that come, and store grain under the hand of Pharaoh for food in the cities, and let them keep it.

所積蓄的糧食可以防備埃及地將來的七個荒年，免得這地被饑荒所滅。」

suǒ jī xù de liáng shí kě yǐ fáng bèi āi jí dì jiāng lái de qī gè huāng nián ， miǎn de zhè dì bèi jī huāng suǒ miè 。」

The food will be to supply the land against the seven years of famine, which will be in the land of Egypt; so that the land will not perish through the famine.”

法老和他一切臣僕都以這事為妙。

fǎ lǎo hé tā yí qiè chén pú dōu yǐ zhè shì wèi miào 。

The thing was good in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of all his servants.

法老對臣僕說：「像這樣的人，有上帝的靈在他裏頭，我們豈能找得着呢？」

fǎ lǎo duì chén pú shuō ：「 xiàng zhè yàng de rén ， yǒu shén de líng zài tā lǐ tou ， wǒ men qǐ néng zhǎo dé zhe ne ？」

Pharaoh said to his servants, “Can we find such a one as this, a man in whom is the Spirit of God?”

法老對約瑟說：「上帝既將這事都指示你，可見沒有人像你這樣有聰明有智慧。

fǎ lǎo duì yuē sè shuō ：「 shén jì jiāng zhè shì dōu zhǐ shì nǐ ， kě jiàn méi yǒu rén xiàng nǐ zhè yàng yǒu cōng ming yǒu zhì huì 。

Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Because God has shown you all of this, there is no one so discreet and wise as you.

你可以掌管我的家；我的民都必聽從你的話。惟獨在寶座上我比你大。」

nǐ kě yǐ zhǎng guǎn wǒ de jiā ； wǒ de mín dōu bì tīng cóng nǐ de huà 。 wéi dú zài bǎo zuò shàng wǒ bǐ nǐ dà 。」

You shall be over my house. All my people will be ruled according to your word. Only in the throne I will be greater than you.”

法老又對約瑟說：「我派你治理埃及全地。」

fǎ lǎo yòu duì yuē sè shuō ：「 wǒ pài nǐ zhì lǐ āi jí quán dì 。」

Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Behold, I have set you over all the land of Egypt.”

法老就摘下手上打印的戒指，戴在約瑟的手上，給他穿上細麻衣，把金鍊戴在他的頸項上，

fǎ lǎo jiù zhāi xià shǒu shàng dǎ yìn de jiè zhǐ ， dài zài yuē sè de shǒu shàng ， gěi tā chuān shàng xì má yī ， bǎ jīn liàn dài zài tā de jǐng xiàng shàng ，

Pharaoh took off his signet ring from his hand, and put it on Joseph’s hand, and arrayed him in robes of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck.

又叫約瑟坐他的副車，喝道的在前呼叫說：「跪下。」這樣，法老派他治理埃及全地。

yòu jiào yuē sè zuò tā de fù chē ， hè dào de zài qián hū jiào shuō ：「 guì xià 。」 zhè yàng ， fǎ lǎo pài tā zhì lǐ āi jí quán dì 。

He made him ride in the second chariot which he had. They cried before him, “Bow the knee!” He set him over all the land of Egypt.

法老對約瑟說：「我是法老，在埃及全地，若沒有你的命令，不許人擅自辦事 。」

fǎ lǎo duì yuē sè shuō ：「 wǒ shì fǎ lǎo ， zài āi jí quán dì ， ruò méi yǒu nǐ de mìng lìng ， bù xǔ rén shàn zì bàn shì 。」

Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I am Pharaoh. Without you, no man shall lift up his hand or his foot in all the land of Egypt.”

法老賜名給約瑟，叫撒發那忒‧巴內亞，又將安城的祭司波提非拉的女兒亞西納給他為妻。約瑟就出去巡行埃及地。

fǎ lǎo cì míng gěi yuē sè ， jiào sā fā nà tè · bā nèi yà ， yòu jiāng ān chéng de jì sī bō tí fēi lā de nǚ ér yà xī nà gěi tā wèi qī 。 yuē sè jiù chū qù xún xíng āi jí dì 。

Pharaoh called Joseph’s name Zaphenath-Paneah. He gave him Asenath, the daughter of Potiphera priest of On as a wife. Joseph went out over the land of Egypt.

約瑟見埃及王法老的時候年三十歲。他從法老面前出去，遍行埃及全地。

yuē sè jiàn āi jí wáng fǎ lǎo de shí hòu nián sān shí suì 。 tā cóng fǎ lǎo miàn qián chū qù ， biàn xíng āi jí quán dì 。

Joseph was thirty years old when he stood before Pharaoh king of Egypt. Joseph went out from the presence of Pharaoh, and went throughout all the land of Egypt.

七個豐年之內，地的出產極豐極盛 ，

qī gè fēng nián zhī nèi ， dì de chū chǎn jí fēng jí shèng ，

In the seven plenteous years the earth produced abundantly.

約瑟聚斂埃及地七個豐年一切的糧食，把糧食積存在各城裏；各城周圍田地的糧食都積存在本城裏。

yuē sè jù liǎn āi jí dì qī gè fēng nián yí qiè de liáng shí ， bǎ liáng shí jī cún zài gè chéng lǐ ； gè chéng zhōu wéi tián dì de liáng shí dōu jī cún zài běn chéng lǐ 。

He gathered up all the food of the seven years which were in the land of Egypt, and laid up the food in the cities. He stored food in each city from the fields around that city.

約瑟積蓄五穀甚多，如同海邊的沙，無法計算，因為穀不可勝數。

yuē sè jī xù wǔ gǔ shèn duō ， rú tóng hǎi biān de shā ， wú fǎ jì suàn ， yīn wèi gǔ bù kě shèng shǔ 。

Joseph laid up grain as the sand of the sea, very much, until he stopped counting, for it was without number.

荒年未到以前，安城的祭司波提非拉的女兒亞西納給約瑟生了兩個兒子。

huāng nián wèi dào yǐ qián ， ān chéng de jì sī bō tí fēi lā de nǚ ér yà xī nà gěi yuē sè shēng le liǎng gè ér zi 。

To Joseph were born two sons before the year of famine came, whom Asenath, the daughter of Potiphera priest of On, bore to him.

約瑟給長子起名叫瑪拿西 ，因為他說：「上帝使我忘了一切的困苦和我父的全家。」

yuē sè gěi zhǎng zǐ qǐ míng jiào mǎ ná xī ， yīn wèi tā shuō ：「 shén shǐ wǒ wàng le yí qiè de kùn kǔ hé wǒ fù de quán jiā 。」

Joseph called the name of the firstborn Manasseh, “For”, he said, “God has made me forget all my toil, and all my father’s house.”

他給次子起名叫以法蓮 ，因為他說：「上帝使我在受苦的地方昌盛。」

tā gěi cì zǐ qǐ míng jiào yǐ fǎ lián ， yīn wèi tā shuō ：「 shén shǐ wǒ zài shòu kǔ de dì fāng chāng shèng 。」

The name of the second, he called Ephraim: “For God has made me fruitful in the land of my affliction.”

埃及地的七個豐年一完，

āi jí dì de qī gè fēng nián yì wán ，

The seven years of plenty, that were in the land of Egypt, came to an end.

七個荒年就來了。正如約瑟所說的，各地都有饑荒；惟獨埃及全地有糧食。

qī gè huāng nián jiù lái le 。 zhèng rú yuē sè suǒ shuō de ， gè dì dōu yǒu jī huāng ； wéi dú āi jí quán dì yǒu liáng shí 。

The seven years of famine began to come, just as Joseph had said. There was famine in all lands, but in all the land of Egypt there was bread.

及至埃及全地有了饑荒，眾民向法老哀求糧食，法老對他們說：「你們往約瑟那裏去，凡他所說的，你們都要做。」

jí zhì āi jí quán dì yǒu le jī huāng ， zhòng mín xiàng fǎ lǎo āi qiú liáng shí ， fǎ lǎo duì tā men shuō ：「 nǐ men wǎng yuē sè nà lǐ qù ， fán tā suǒ shuō de ， nǐ men dōu yào zuò 。」

When all the land of Egypt was famished, the people cried to Pharaoh for bread, and Pharaoh said to all the Egyptians, “Go to Joseph. What he says to you, do.”

當時饑荒遍滿天下，約瑟開了各處的倉，糶糧給埃及人；在埃及地饑荒甚大。

dāng shí jī huāng biàn mǎn tiān xià ， yuē sè kāi le gè chù de cāng ， tiào liáng gěi āi jí rén ； zài āi jí dì jī huāng shèn dà 。

The famine was over all the surface of the earth. Joseph opened all the store houses, and sold to the Egyptians. The famine was severe in the land of Egypt.

各地的人都往埃及去，到約瑟那裏糴糧，因為天下的饑荒甚大。

gè dì de rén dōu wǎng āi jí qù ， dào yuē sè nà lǐ dí liáng ， yīn wèi tiān xià de jī huāng shèn dà 。

All countries came into Egypt, to Joseph, to buy grain, because the famine was severe in all the earth.
