雅各書 1

作上帝和主耶穌基督僕人的雅各請散住十二個支派之人的安。

zuò shén hé zhǔ yē sū jī dū pú rén de yǎ gè qǐng sàn zhù shí èr gè zhī pài zhī rén de ān 。

James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are in the Dispersion: Greetings.

我的弟兄們，你們落在百般試煉中，都要以為大喜樂；

wǒ de dì xiong men ， nǐ men luò zài bǎi bān shì liàn zhōng ， dōu yào yǐ wéi dà xǐ lè ；

Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations,

因為知道你們的信心經過試驗，就生忍耐。

yīn wèi zhī dào nǐ men de xìn xīn jīng guò shì yàn ， jiù shēng rěn nài 。

knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.

但忍耐也當成功，使你們成全、完備，毫無缺欠。

dàn rěn nài yě dàng chéng gōng ， shǐ nǐ men chéng quán 、 wán bèi ， háo wú quē qiàn 。

Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.

你們中間若有缺少智慧的，應當求那厚賜與眾人、也不斥責人的上帝，主就必賜給他。

nǐ men zhōng jiān ruò yǒu quē shǎo zhì huì de ， yìng dāng qiú nà hòu cì yǔ zhòng rén 、 yě bú chì zé rén de shén ， zhǔ jiù bì cì gěi tā 。

But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

只要憑着信心求，一點不疑惑；因為那疑惑的人，就像海中的波浪，被風吹動翻騰。

zhǐ yào píng zhe xìn xīn qiú ， yì diǎn bù yí huò ； yīn wèi nà yí huò de rén ， jiù xiàng hǎi zhōng de bō làng ， bèi fēng chuī dòng fān téng 。

But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed.

這樣的人不要想從主那裏得甚麼。

zhè yàng de rén bú yào xiǎng cóng zhǔ nà lǐ dé shén me 。

For that man shouldn’t think that he will receive anything from the Lord.

心懷二意的人，在他一切所行的路上都沒有定見。

xīn huái èr yì de rén ， zài tā yí qiè suǒ xíng de lù shang dōu méi yǒu dìng jiàn 。

He is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

卑微的弟兄升高，就該喜樂；

bēi wēi de dì xiong shēng gāo ， jiù gāi xǐ lè ；

Let the brother in humble circumstances glory in his high position;

富足的降卑，也該如此；因為他必要過去，如同草上的花一樣。

fù zú de jiàng bēi ， yě gāi rú cǐ ； yīn wèi tā bì yào guò qù ， rú tóng cǎo shàng de huā yí yàng 。

and the rich, in that he is made humble, because like the flower in the grass, he will pass away.

太陽出來，熱風颳起，草就枯乾，花也凋謝，美容就消沒了；那富足的人，在他所行的事上也要這樣衰殘。

tài yáng chū lái ， rè fēng guā qǐ ， cǎo jiù kū gān ， huā yě diāo xiè ， měi róng jiù xiāo méi le ； nà fù zú de rén ， zài tā suǒ xíng de shì shàng yě yào zhè yàng shuāi cán 。

For the sun arises with the scorching wind and withers the grass; and the flower in it falls, and the beauty of its appearance perishes. So the rich man will also fade away in his pursuits.

忍受試探的人是有福的，因為他經過試驗以後，必得生命的冠冕；這是主應許給那些愛他之人的。

rěn shòu shì tàn de rén shì yǒu fú de ， yīn wèi tā jīng guò shì yàn yǐ hòu ， bì dé shēng mìng de guān miǎn ； zhè shì zhǔ yīng xǔ gěi nà xiē ài tā zhī rén de 。

Blessed is a person who endures temptation, for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord promised to those who love him.

人被試探，不可說：「我是被上帝試探」；因為上帝不能被惡試探，他也不試探人。

rén bèi shì tàn ， bù kě shuō ：「 wǒ shì bèi shén shì tàn 」； yīn wèi shén bù néng bèi è shì tàn ， tā yě bú shì tàn rén 。

Let no man say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God,” for God can’t be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one.

但各人被試探，乃是被自己的私慾牽引誘惑的。

dàn gè rén bèi shì tàn ， nǎi shì bèi zì jǐ de sī yù qiān yǐn yòu huò de 。

But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own lust and enticed.

私慾既懷了胎，就生出罪來；罪既長成，就生出死來。

sī yù jì huái le tāi ， jiù shēng chū zuì lái ； zuì jì cháng chéng ， jiù shēng chū sǐ lái 。

Then the lust, when it has conceived, bears sin. The sin, when it is full grown, produces death.

我親愛的弟兄們，不要看錯了。

wǒ qīn ài de dì xiong men ， bú yào kàn cuò le 。

Don’t be deceived, my beloved brothers.

各樣美善的恩賜和各樣全備的賞賜都是從上頭來的，從眾光之父那裏降下來的；在他並沒有改變，也沒有轉動的影兒。

gè yàng měi shàn de ēn cì hé gè yàng quán bèi de shǎng cì dōu shì cóng shàng tóu lái de ， cóng zhòng guāng zhī fù nà lǐ jiàng xià lái de ； zài tā bìng méi yǒu gǎi biàn ， yě méi yǒu zhuàn dòng de yǐng ér 。

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation nor turning shadow.

他按自己的旨意，用真道生了我們，叫我們在他所造的萬物中好像初熟的果子。

tā àn zì jǐ de zhǐ yì ， yòng zhēn dào shēng le wǒ men ， jiào wǒ men zài tā suǒ zào de wàn wù zhōng hǎo xiàng chū shú de guǒ zǐ 。

Of his own will he gave birth to us by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.

我親愛的弟兄們，這是你們所知道的。但你們各人要快快地聽，慢慢地說，慢慢地動怒，

wǒ qīn ài de dì xiong men ， zhè shì nǐ men suǒ zhī dào de 。 dàn nǐ men gè rén yào kuài kuài dì tīng ， màn màn dì shuō ， màn màn dì dòng nù ，

So, then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger;

因為人的怒氣並不成就上帝的義。

yīn wèi rén de nù qì bìng bù chéng jiù shén de yì 。

for the anger of man doesn’t produce the righteousness of God.

所以，你們要脫去一切的污穢和盈餘的邪惡，存溫柔的心領受那所栽種的道，就是能救你們靈魂的道。

suǒ yǐ ， nǐ men yào tuō qù yí qiè de wū huì hé yíng yú de xié è ， cún wēn róu de xīn lǐng shòu nà suǒ zāi zhòng de dào ， jiù shì néng jiù nǐ men líng hún de dào 。

Therefore, putting away all filthiness and overflowing of wickedness, receive with humility the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.

只是你們要行道，不要單單聽道，自己欺哄自己。

zhǐ shì nǐ men yào háng dào ， bú yào dān dān tīng dào ， zì jǐ qī hǒng zì jǐ 。

But be doers of the word, and not only hearers, deluding your own selves.

因為聽道而不行道的，就像人對着鏡子看自己本來的面目，

yīn wèi tīng dào ér bù háng dào de ， jiù xiàng rén duì zhe jìng zi kàn zì jǐ běn lái de miàn mù ，

For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man looking at his natural face in a mirror;

看見，走後，隨即忘了他的相貌如何。

kàn jiàn ， zǒu hòu ， suí jí wàng le tā de xiàng mào rú hé 。

for he sees himself, and goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was.

惟有詳細察看那全備、使人自由之律法的，並且時常如此，這人既不是聽了就忘，乃是實在行出來，就在他所行的事上必然得福。

wéi yǒu xiáng xì chá kàn nà quán bèi 、 shǐ rén zì yóu zhī lǜ fǎ de ， bìng qiě shí cháng rú cǐ ， zhè rén jì bú shì tīng le jiù wàng ， nǎi shì shí zài háng chū lái ， jiù zài tā suǒ xíng de shì shàng bì rán dé fú 。

But he who looks into the perfect law of freedom and continues, not being a hearer who forgets but a doer of the work, this man will be blessed in what he does.

若有人自以為虔誠，卻不勒住他的舌頭，反欺哄自己的心，這人的虔誠是虛的。

ruò yǒu rén zì yǐ wéi qián chéng ， què bú lè zhù tā de shé tou ， fǎn qī hǒng zì jǐ de xīn ， zhè rén de qián chéng shì xū de 。

If anyone among you thinks himself to be religious while he doesn’t bridle his tongue, but deceives his heart, this man’s religion is worthless.

在上帝我們的父面前，那清潔沒有玷污的虔誠，就是看顧在患難中的孤兒寡婦，並且保守自己不沾染世俗。

zài shén wǒ men de fù miàn qián ， nà qīng jié méi yǒu diàn wū de qián chéng ， jiù shì kàn gù zài huàn nàn zhōng de gū ér guǎ fù ， bìng qiě bǎo shǒu zì jǐ bù zhān rǎn shì sú 。

Pure religion and undefiled before our God and Father is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.
