約伯記 16

約伯回答說：

yuē bó huí dá shuō ：

Then Job answered,

這樣的話我聽了許多； 你們安慰人，反叫人愁煩。

zhè yàng de huà wǒ tīng le xǔ duō ； nǐ men ān wèi rén ， fǎn jiào rén chóu fán 。

“I have heard many such things. You are all miserable comforters!

虛空的言語有窮盡嗎？ 有甚麼話惹動你回答呢？

xū kōng de yán yǔ yǒu qióng jìn ma ？ yǒu shén me huà rě dòng nǐ huí dá ne ？

Shall vain words have an end? Or what provokes you that you answer?

我也能說你們那樣的話； 你們若處在我的境遇， 我也會聯絡言語攻擊你們， 又能向你們搖頭。

wǒ yě néng shuō nǐ men nà yàng de huà ； nǐ men ruò chù zài wǒ de jìng yù ， wǒ yě huì lián luò yán yǔ gōng jī nǐ men ， yòu néng xiàng nǐ men yáo tóu 。

I also could speak as you do. If your soul were in my soul’s place, I could join words together against you, and shake my head at you,

但我必用口堅固你們， 用嘴消解你們的憂愁。

dàn wǒ bì yòng kǒu jiān gù nǐ men ， yòng zuǐ xiāo jiě nǐ men de yōu chóu 。

but I would strengthen you with my mouth. The solace of my lips would relieve you.

我雖說話，憂愁仍不得消解； 我雖停住不說，憂愁就離開我嗎？

wǒ suī shuō huà ， yōu chóu réng bù dé xiāo jiě ； wǒ suī tíng zhù bù shuō ， yōu chóu jiù lí kāi wǒ ma ？

“Though I speak, my grief is not subsided. Though I forbear, what am I eased?

但現在上帝使我困倦， 使親友遠離我，

dàn xiàn zài shén shǐ wǒ kùn juàn ， shǐ qīn yǒu yuǎn lí wǒ ，

But now, God, you have surely worn me out. You have made all my company desolate.

又抓住我，作見證攻擊我； 我身體的枯瘦也當面見證我的不是。

yòu zhuā zhù wǒ ， zuò jiàn zhèng gōng jī wǒ ； wǒ shēn tǐ de kū shòu yě dāng miàn jiàn zhèng wǒ de bú shì 。

You have shriveled me up. This is a witness against me. My leanness rises up against me. It testifies to my face.

主發怒撕裂我，逼迫我， 向我切齒； 我的敵人怒目看我。

zhǔ fā nù sī liè wǒ ， bī pò wǒ ， xiàng wǒ qiè chǐ ； wǒ de dí rén nù mù kàn wǒ 。

He has torn me in his wrath and persecuted me. He has gnashed on me with his teeth. My adversary sharpens his eyes on me.

他們向我開口， 打我的臉羞辱我， 聚會攻擊我。

tā men xiàng wǒ kāi kǒu ， dǎ wǒ de liǎn xiū rǔ wǒ ， jù huì gōng jī wǒ 。

They have gaped on me with their mouth. They have struck me on the cheek reproachfully. They gather themselves together against me.

上帝把我交給不敬虔的人， 把我扔到惡人的手中。

shén bǎ wǒ jiāo gěi bú jìng qián de rén ， bǎ wǒ rēng dào è rén de shǒu zhōng 。

God delivers me to the ungodly, and casts me into the hands of the wicked.

我素來安逸，他折斷我， 掐住我的頸項，把我摔碎， 又立我為他的箭靶子。

wǒ sù lái ān yì ， tā zhé duàn wǒ ， qiā zhù wǒ de jǐng xiàng ， bǎ wǒ shuāi suì ， yòu lì wǒ wèi tā de jiàn bǎ zǐ 。

I was at ease, and he broke me apart. Yes, he has taken me by the neck, and dashed me to pieces. He has also set me up for his target.

他的弓箭手四面圍繞我； 他破裂我的肺腑，並不留情， 把我的膽傾倒在地上，

tā de gōng jiàn shǒu sì miàn wéi rào wǒ ； tā pò liè wǒ de fèi fǔ ， bìng bù liú qíng ， bǎ wǒ de dǎn qīng dǎo zài dì shàng ，

His archers surround me. He splits my kidneys apart, and does not spare. He pours out my bile on the ground.

將我破裂又破裂， 如同勇士向我直闖。

jiāng wǒ pò liè yòu pò liè ， rú tóng yǒng shì xiàng wǒ zhí chuǎng 。

He breaks me with breach on breach. He runs at me like a giant.

我縫麻布在我皮膚上， 把我的角放在塵土中。

wǒ fèng má bù zài wǒ pí fū shàng ， bǎ wǒ de jiǎo fàng zài chén tǔ zhōng 。

I have sewed sackcloth on my skin, and have thrust my horn in the dust.

我的臉因哭泣發紫， 在我的眼皮上有死蔭。

wǒ de liǎn yīn kū qì fā zǐ ， zài wǒ de yǎn pí shàng yǒu sǐ yìn 。

My face is red with weeping. Deep darkness is on my eyelids,

我的手中卻無強暴； 我的祈禱也是清潔。

wǒ de shǒu zhōng què wú qiáng bào ； wǒ de qí dǎo yě shì qīng jié 。

although there is no violence in my hands, and my prayer is pure.

地啊，不要遮蓋我的血！ 不要阻擋我的哀求！

dì a ， bú yào zhē gài wǒ de xuè ！ bú yào zǔ dǎng wǒ de āi qiú ！

“Earth, don’t cover my blood. Let my cry have no place to rest.

現今，在天有我的見證， 在上有我的中保。

xiàn jīn ， zài tiān yǒu wǒ de jiàn zhèng ， zài shàng yǒu wǒ de zhōng bǎo 。

Even now, behold, my witness is in heaven. He who vouches for me is on high.

我的朋友譏誚我， 我卻向上帝眼淚汪汪。

wǒ de péng yǒu jī qiào wǒ ， wǒ què xiàng shén yǎn lèi wāng wāng 。

My friends scoff at me. My eyes pour out tears to God,

願人得與上帝辯白， 如同人與朋友辯白一樣；

yuàn rén dé yǔ shén biàn bái ， rú tóng rén yǔ péng yǒu biàn bái yí yàng ；

that he would maintain the right of a man with God, of a son of man with his neighbor!

因為再過幾年， 我必走那往而不返之路。

yīn wèi zài guò jǐ nián ， wǒ bì zǒu nà wǎng ér bù fǎn zhī lù 。

For when a few years have come, I will go the way of no return.
