wǒ de xīn líng xiāo hào , wǒ de rì zi miè jìn ; fén mù wèi wǒ yù bèi hǎo le 。
“My spirit is consumed. My days are extinct and the grave is ready for me.
zhēn yǒu xì xiào wǒ de zài wǒ zhè lǐ , wǒ yǎn cháng jiàn tā men rě dòng wǒ 。
Surely there are mockers with me. My eye dwells on their provocation.
yuàn zhǔ ná píng jù gěi wǒ , zì jǐ wèi wǒ zuò bǎo 。 zài nǐ yǐ wài shuí kěn yǔ wǒ jī zhǎng ne ?
“Now give a pledge. Be collateral for me with yourself. Who is there who will strike hands with me?
yīn nǐ shǐ tā men xīn bù míng lǐ , suǒ yǐ nǐ bì bù gāo jǔ tā men 。
For you have hidden their heart from understanding, therefore you will not exalt them.
kòng gào tā de péng yǒu 、 yǐ péng yǒu wèi kě qiǎng duó de , lián tā ér nǚ de yǎn jīng yě yào shī míng 。
He who denounces his friends for plunder, even the eyes of his children will fail.
shén shǐ wǒ zuò le mín zhōng de xiào tán ; tā men yě tǔ tuò mò zài wǒ liǎn shàng 。
“But he has made me a byword of the people. They spit in my face.
wǒ de yǎn jīng yīn yōu chóu hūn huā ; wǒ de bǎi tǐ hǎo xiàng yǐng ér 。
My eye also is dim by reason of sorrow. All my members are as a shadow.
zhèng zhí rén yīn cǐ bì jīng qí ; wú gū de rén yào xīng qǐ gōng jī bú jìng qián zhī bèi 。
Upright men will be astonished at this. The innocent will stir himself up against the godless.
rán ér , yì rén yào chí shǒu suǒ xíng de dào ; shǒu jié de rén yào lì shàng jiā lì 。
Yet the righteous will hold to his way. He who has clean hands will grow stronger and stronger.
zhì yú nǐ men zhòng rén , kě yǐ zài lái biàn lùn ba ! nǐ men zhōng jiān , wǒ zhǎo bù zhe yí gè zhì huì rén 。
But as for you all, come back. I will not find a wise man among you.
wǒ de rì zi yǐ jīng guò le ; wǒ de móu suàn 、 wǒ xīn suǒ xiǎng wàng de yǐ jīng duàn jué 。
My days are past. My plans are broken off, as are the thoughts of my heart.
tā men yǐ hēi yè wèi bái zhòu , shuō : liàng guāng jìn hū hēi àn 。
They change the night into day, saying ‘The light is near’ in the presence of darkness.
wǒ ruò pàn wàng yīn jiān wèi wǒ de fáng wū , ruò xià tà zài hēi àn zhōng ,
If I look for Sheol as my house, if I have spread my couch in the darkness,
若對朽壞說:你是我的父; 對蟲說:你是我的母親姊妹;
ruò duì xiǔ huài shuō : nǐ shì wǒ de fù ; duì chóng shuō : nǐ shì wǒ de mǔ qīn zǐ mèi ;
if I have said to corruption, ‘You are my father,’ and to the worm, ‘My mother,’ and ‘My sister,’
zhè yàng , wǒ de zhǐ wàng zài nǎ lǐ ne ? wǒ suǒ zhǐ wàng de shuí néng kàn jiàn ne ?
where then is my hope? As for my hope, who will see it?
děng dào ān xī zài chén tǔ zhōng , zhè zhǐ wàng bì xià dào yīn jiān de mén shuān nà lǐ le 。
Shall it go down with me to the gates of Sheol, or descend together into the dust?”
