約伯記 2

又有一天，上帝的眾子來侍立在耶和華面前，撒但也來在其中。

yòu yǒu yì tiān ， shén de zhòng zǐ lái shì lì zài yē hé huá miàn qián ， sā dàn yě lái zài qí zhōng 。

Again, on the day when God’s sons came to present themselves before the LORD, Satan came also among them to present himself before the LORD.

耶和華問撒但說：「你從哪裏來？」撒但回答說：「我從地上走來走去，往返而來。」

yē hé huá wèn sā dàn shuō ：「 nǐ cóng nǎ lǐ lái ？」 sā dàn huí dá shuō ：「 wǒ cóng dì shàng zǒu lái zǒu qù ， wǎng fǎn ér lái 。」

The LORD said to Satan, “Where have you come from?” Satan answered the LORD, and said, “From going back and forth in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.”

耶和華問撒但說：「你曾用心察看我的僕人約伯沒有？地上再沒有人像他完全正直，敬畏上帝，遠離惡事。你雖激動我攻擊他，無故地毀滅他，他仍然持守他的純正。」

yē hé huá wèn sā dàn shuō ：「 nǐ céng yòng xīn chá kàn wǒ de pú rén yuē bó méi yǒu ？ dì shàng zài méi yǒu rén xiàng tā wán quán zhèng zhí ， jìng wèi shén ， yuǎn lí è shì 。 nǐ suī jī dòng wǒ gōng jī tā ， wú gù dì huǐ miè tā ， tā réng rán chí shǒu tā de chún zhèng 。」

The LORD said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job? For there is no one like him in the earth, a blameless and an upright man, one who fears God, and turns away from evil. He still maintains his integrity, although you incited me against him, to ruin him without cause.”

撒但回答耶和華說：「人以皮代皮，情願捨去一切所有的，保全性命。

sā dàn huí dá yē hé huá shuō ：「 rén yǐ pí dài pí ， qíng yuàn shè qù yí qiè suǒ yǒu de ， bǎo quán xìng mìng 。

Satan answered the LORD, and said, “Skin for skin. Yes, all that a man has he will give for his life.

你且伸手傷他的骨頭和他的肉，他必當面棄掉你。」

nǐ qiě shēn shǒu shāng tā de gǔ tou hé tā de ròu ， tā bì dāng miàn qì diào nǐ 。」

But stretch out your hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will renounce you to your face.”

耶和華對撒但說：「他在你手中，只要存留他的性命。」

yē hé huá duì sā dàn shuō ：「 tā zài nǐ shǒu zhōng ， zhǐ yào cún liú tā de xìng mìng 。」

The LORD said to Satan, “Behold, he is in your hand. Only spare his life.”

於是撒但從耶和華面前退去，擊打約伯，使他從腳掌到頭頂長毒瘡。

yú shì sā dàn cóng yē hé huá miàn qián tuì qù ， jī dǎ yuē bó ， shǐ tā cóng jiǎo zhǎng dào tóu dǐng cháng dú chuāng 。

So Satan went out from the presence of the LORD, and struck Job with painful sores from the sole of his foot to his head.

約伯就坐在爐灰中，拿瓦片刮身體。

yuē bó jiù zuò zài lú huī zhōng ， ná wǎ piàn guā shēn tǐ 。

He took for himself a potsherd to scrape himself with, and he sat among the ashes.

他的妻子對他說：「你仍然持守你的純正嗎？你棄掉上帝，死了吧！」

tā de qī zǐ duì tā shuō ：「 nǐ réng rán chí shǒu nǐ de chún zhèng ma ？ nǐ qì diào shén ， sǐ le ba ！」

Then his wife said to him, “Do you still maintain your integrity? Renounce God, and die.”

約伯卻對她說：「你說話像愚頑的婦人一樣。噯！難道我們從上帝手裏得福，不也受禍嗎？」在這一切的事上約伯並不以口犯罪。

yuē bó què duì tā shuō ：「 nǐ shuō huà xiàng yú wán de fù rén yí yàng 。 ài ！ nán dào wǒ men cóng shén shǒu lǐ dé fú ， bù yě shòu huò ma ？」 zài zhè yí qiè de shì shàng yuē bó bìng bù yǐ kǒu fàn zuì 。

But he said to her, “You speak as one of the foolish women would speak. What? Shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil?” In all this Job didn’t sin with his lips.

約伯的三個朋友－提幔人以利法、書亞人比勒達、拿瑪人瑣法－聽說有這一切的災禍臨到他身上，各人就從本處約會同來，為他悲傷，安慰他。

yuē bó de sān gè péng yǒu — tí màn rén yǐ lì fǎ 、 shū yà rén bǐ lè dá 、 ná mǎ rén suǒ fǎ — tīng shuō yǒu zhè yí qiè de zāi huò lín dào tā shēn shàng ， gè rén jiù cóng běn chù yuē huì tóng lái ， wèi tā bēi shāng ， ān wèi tā 。

Now when Job’s three friends heard of all this evil that had come on him, they each came from his own place: Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite; and they made an appointment together to come to sympathize with him and to comfort him.

他們遠遠地舉目觀看，認不出他來，就放聲大哭。各人撕裂外袍，把塵土向天揚起來，落在自己的頭上。

tā men yuǎn yuǎn dì jǔ mù guān kàn ， rèn bù chū tā lái ， jiù fàng shēng dà kū 。 gè rén sī liè wài páo ， bǎ chén tǔ xiàng tiān yáng qǐ lái ， luò zài zì jǐ de tóu shàng 。

When they lifted up their eyes from a distance, and didn’t recognize him, they raised their voices, and wept; and they each tore his robe, and sprinkled dust on their heads toward the sky.

他們就同他七天七夜坐在地上，一個人也不向他說句話，因為他極其痛苦。

tā men jiù tóng tā qī tiān qī yè zuò zài dì shàng ， yí gè rén yě bú xiàng tā shuō jù huà ， yīn wèi tā jí qí tòng kǔ 。

So they sat down with him on the ground seven days and seven nights, and no one spoke a word to him, for they saw that his grief was very great.
