約伯記 6
惟願我的煩惱稱一稱， 我一切的災害放在天平裏；
wéi yuàn wǒ de fán nǎo chēng yi chēng ， wǒ yí qiè de zāi hài fàng zài tiān píng lǐ ；
“Oh that my anguish were weighed, and all my calamity laid in the balances!
現今都比海沙更重， 所以我的言語急躁。
xiàn jīn dōu bǐ hǎi shā gèng zhòng ， suǒ yǐ wǒ de yán yǔ jí zào 。
For now it would be heavier than the sand of the seas, therefore my words have been rash.
因全能者的箭射入我身； 其毒，我的靈喝盡了； 上帝的驚嚇擺陣攻擊我。
yīn quán néng zhě de jiàn shè rù wǒ shēn ； qí dú ， wǒ de líng hē jìn le ； shén de jīng xià bǎi zhèn gōng jī wǒ 。
For the arrows of the Almighty are within me. My spirit drinks up their poison. The terrors of God set themselves in array against me.
野驢有草豈能叫喚？ 牛有料豈能吼叫？
yě lǘ yǒu cǎo qǐ néng jiào huàn ？ niú yǒu liào qǐ néng hǒu jiào ？
Does the wild donkey bray when he has grass? Or does the ox low over his fodder?
物淡而無鹽豈可吃嗎？ 蛋青有甚麼滋味呢？
wù dàn ér wú yán qǐ kě chī ma ？ dàn qīng yǒu shén me zī wèi ne ？
Can that which has no flavor be eaten without salt? Or is there any taste in the white of an egg?
看為可厭的食物， 我心不肯挨近。
kàn wèi kě yàn de shí wù ， wǒ xīn bù kěn āi jìn 。
My soul refuses to touch them. They are as loathsome food to me.
惟願我得着所求的， 願上帝賜我所切望的；
wéi yuàn wǒ dé zhe suǒ qiú de ， yuàn shén cì wǒ suǒ qiè wàng de ；
“Oh that I might have my request, that God would grant the thing that I long for,
就是願上帝把我壓碎， 伸手將我剪除。
jiù shì yuàn shén bǎ wǒ yā suì ， shēn shǒu jiāng wǒ jiǎn chú 。
even that it would please God to crush me; that he would let loose his hand, and cut me off!
我因沒有違棄那聖者的言語， 就仍以此為安慰， 在不止息的痛苦中還可踴躍。
wǒ yīn méi yǒu wéi qì nà shèng zhě de yán yǔ ， jiù réng yǐ cǐ wèi ān wèi ， zài bù zhǐ xī de tòng kǔ zhōng hái kě yǒng yuè 。
Let it still be my consolation, yes, let me exult in pain that doesn’t spare, that I have not denied the words of the Holy One.
我有甚麼氣力使我等候？ 我有甚麼結局使我忍耐？
wǒ yǒu shén me qì lì shǐ wǒ děng hòu ？ wǒ yǒu shén me jié jú shǐ wǒ rěn nài ？
What is my strength, that I should wait? What is my end, that I should be patient?
我的氣力豈是石頭的氣力？ 我的肉身豈是銅的呢？
wǒ de qì lì qǐ shì shí tou de qì lì ？ wǒ de ròu shēn qǐ shì tóng de ne ？
Is my strength the strength of stones? Or is my flesh of bronze?
在我豈不是毫無幫助嗎？ 智慧豈不是從我心中趕出淨盡嗎？
zài wǒ qǐ bú shì háo wú bāng zhù ma ？ zhì huì qǐ bú shì cóng wǒ xīn zhōng gǎn chū jìng jìn ma ？
Isn’t it that I have no help in me, that wisdom is driven away from me?
那將要灰心、離棄全能者、 不敬畏上帝的人， 他的朋友當以慈愛待他。
nà jiāng yào huī xīn 、 lí qì quán néng zhě 、 bú jìng wèi shén de rén ， tā de péng yǒu dāng yǐ cí ài dài tā 。
“To him who is ready to faint, kindness should be shown from his friend; even to him who forsakes the fear of the Almighty.
我的弟兄詭詐，好像溪水， 又像溪水流乾的河道。
wǒ de dì xiong guǐ zhà ， hǎo xiàng xī shuǐ ， yòu xiàng xī shuǐ liú gān de hé dào 。
My brothers have dealt deceitfully as a brook, as the channel of brooks that pass away;
這河因結冰發黑， 有雪藏在其中；
zhè hé yīn jié bīng fā hēi ， yǒu xuě cáng zài qí zhōng ；
which are black by reason of the ice, in which the snow hides itself.
天氣漸暖就隨時消化， 日頭炎熱便從原處乾涸。
tiān qì jiàn nuǎn jiù suí shí xiāo huà ， rì tou yán rè biàn cóng yuán chù gān hé 。
In the dry season, they vanish. When it is hot, they are consumed out of their place.
結伴的客旅離棄大道， 順河偏行，到荒野之地死亡。
jié bàn de kè lǚ lí qì dà dào ， shùn hé piān xíng ， dào huāng yě zhī dì sǐ wáng 。
The caravans that travel beside them turn away. They go up into the waste, and perish.
提瑪結伴的客旅瞻望； 示巴同夥的人等候。
tí mǎ jié bàn de kè lǚ zhān wàng ； shì bā tóng huǒ de rén děng hòu 。
The caravans of Tema looked. The companies of Sheba waited for them.
他們因失了盼望就抱愧， 來到那裏便蒙羞。
tā men yīn shī le pàn wàng jiù bào kuì ， lái dào nà lǐ biàn méng xiū 。
They were distressed because they were confident. They came there, and were confounded.
現在你們正是這樣， 看見驚嚇的事便懼怕。
xiàn zài nǐ men zhèng shì zhè yàng ， kàn jiàn jīng xià de shì biàn jù pà 。
For now you are nothing. You see a terror, and are afraid.
我豈說：請你們供給我， 從你們的財物中送禮物給我？
wǒ qǐ shuō ： qǐng nǐ men gōng jǐ wǒ ， cóng nǐ men de cái wù zhōng sòng lǐ wù gěi wǒ ？
Did I ever say, ‘Give to me’? or, ‘Offer a present for me from your substance’?
豈說：拯救我脫離敵人的手嗎？ 救贖我脫離強暴人的手嗎？
qǐ shuō ： zhěng jiù wǒ tuō lí dí rén de shǒu ma ？ jiù shú wǒ tuō lí qiáng bào rén de shǒu ma ？
or, ‘Deliver me from the adversary’s hand’? or, ‘Redeem me from the hand of the oppressors’?
請你們教導我，我便不作聲； 使我明白在何事上有錯。
qǐng nǐ men jiào dǎo wǒ ， wǒ biàn bú zuò shēng ； shǐ wǒ míng bái zài hé shì shàng yǒu cuò 。
“Teach me, and I will hold my peace. Cause me to understand my error.
正直的言語力量何其大！ 但你們責備是責備甚麼呢？
zhèng zhí de yán yǔ lì liàng hé qí dà ！ dàn nǐ men zé bèi shì zé bèi shén me ne ？
How forcible are words of uprightness! But your reproof, what does it reprove?
絕望人的講論既然如風， 你們還想要駁正言語嗎？
jué wàng rén de jiǎng lùn jì rán rú fēng ， nǐ men hái xiǎng yào bó zhèng yán yǔ ma ？
Do you intend to reprove words, since the speeches of one who is desperate are as wind?
你們想為孤兒拈鬮， 以朋友當貨物。
nǐ men xiǎng wèi gū ér niān jiū ， yǐ péng yǒu dāng huò wù 。
Yes, you would even cast lots for the fatherless, and make merchandise of your friend.
現在請你們看看我， 我決不當面說謊。
xiàn zài qǐng nǐ men kàn kàn wǒ ， wǒ jué bù dāng miàn shuō huǎng 。
Now therefore be pleased to look at me, for surely I will not lie to your face.
請你們轉意，不要不公； 請再轉意，我的事有理。
qǐng nǐ men zhuǎn yì ， bú yào bù gōng ； qǐng zài zhuǎn yì ， wǒ de shì yǒu lǐ 。
Please return. Let there be no injustice. Yes, return again. My cause is righteous.
我的舌上豈有不義嗎？ 我的口裏豈不辨奸惡嗎？
wǒ de shé shàng qǐ yǒu bú yì ma ？ wǒ de kǒu lǐ qǐ bú biàn jiān è ma ？
Is there injustice on my tongue? Can’t my taste discern mischievous things?
