除酵節（又名逾越節）近了。
chú jiào jié （ yòu míng yú yuè jié ） jìn le 。
Now the feast of unleavened bread, which is called the Passover, was approaching.
祭司長和文士想法子怎麼才能殺害耶穌，是因他們懼怕百姓。
jì sī cháng hé wén shì xiǎng fǎ zǐ zěn me cái néng shā hài yē sū ， shì yīn tā men jù pà bǎi xìng 。
The chief priests and the scribes sought how they might put him to death, for they feared the people.
這時，撒但入了那稱為加略人猶大的心；他本是十二門徒裏的一個。
zhè shí ， sā dàn rù le nà chēng wéi jiā lüè rén yóu dà de xīn ； tā běn shì shí èr mén tú lǐ de yí gè 。
Satan entered into Judas, who was also called Iscariot, who was counted with the twelve.
他去和祭司長並守殿官商量，怎麼可以把耶穌交給他們。
tā qù hé jì sī zhǎng bìng shǒu diàn guān shāng liáng ， zěn me kě yǐ bǎ yē sū jiāo gěi tā men 。
He went away and talked with the chief priests and captains about how he might deliver him to them.
他們歡喜，就約定給他銀子。
tā men huān xǐ ， jiù yuē dìng gěi tā yín zi 。
They were glad, and agreed to give him money.
他應允了，就找機會，要趁眾人不在跟前的時候把耶穌交給他們。
tā yīng yǔn le ， jiù zhǎo jī huì ， yào chèn zhòng rén bú zài gēn qián de shí hòu bǎ yē sū jiāo gěi tā men 。
He consented and sought an opportunity to deliver him to them in the absence of the multitude.
除酵節，須宰逾越羊羔的那一天到了。
chú jiào jié ， xū zǎi yú yuè yáng gāo de nà yì tiān dào le 。
The day of unleavened bread came, on which the Passover must be sacrificed.
耶穌打發彼得、約翰，說：「你們去為我們預備逾越節的筵席，好叫我們吃。」
yē sū dǎ fā bǐ dé 、 yuē hàn ， shuō ：「 nǐ men qù wèi wǒ men yù bèi yú yuè jié de yán xí ， hǎo jiào wǒ men chī 。」
Jesus sent Peter and John, saying, “Go and prepare the Passover for us, that we may eat.”
他們問他說：「要我們在哪裏預備？」
tā men wèn tā shuō ：「 yào wǒ men zài nǎ lǐ yù bèi ？」
They said to him, “Where do you want us to prepare?”
耶穌說：「你們進了城，必有人拿着一瓶水迎面而來，你們就跟着他，到他所進的房子裏去，
yē sū shuō ：「 nǐ men jìn le chéng ， bì yǒu rén ná zhe yì píng shuǐ yíng miàn ér lái ， nǐ men jiù gēn zhe tā ， dào tā suǒ jìn de fáng zi lǐ qù ，
He said to them, “Behold, when you have entered into the city, a man carrying a pitcher of water will meet you. Follow him into the house which he enters.
對那家的主人說：『夫子說：客房在哪裏？我與門徒好在那裏吃逾越節的筵席。』
duì nà jiā de zhǔ rén shuō ：『 fū zǐ shuō ： kè fáng zài nǎ lǐ ？ wǒ yǔ mén tú hǎo zài nà lǐ chī yú yuè jié de yán xí 。』
Tell the master of the house, ‘The Teacher says to you, “Where is the guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?”’
他必指給你們擺設整齊的一間大樓，你們就在那裏預備。」
tā bì zhǐ gěi nǐ men bǎi shè zhěng qí de yì jiān dà lóu ， nǐ men jiù zài nà lǐ yù bèi 。」
He will show you a large, furnished upper room. Make preparations there.”
他們去了，所遇見的正如耶穌所說的；他們就預備了逾越節的筵席。
tā men qù le ， suǒ yù jiàn de zhèng rú yē sū suǒ shuō de ； tā men jiù yù bèi le yú yuè jié de yán xí 。
They went, found things as Jesus had told them, and they prepared the Passover.
時候到了，耶穌坐席，使徒也和他同坐。
shí hòu dào le ， yē sū zuò xí ， shǐ tú yě hé tā tóng zuò 。
When the hour had come, he sat down with the twelve apostles.
耶穌對他們說：「我很願意在受害以先和你們吃這逾越節的筵席。
yē sū duì tā men shuō ：「 wǒ hěn yuàn yì zài shòu hài yǐ xiān hé nǐ men chī zhè yú yuè jié de yán xí 。
He said to them, “I have earnestly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer,
我告訴你們，我不再吃這筵席，直到成就在上帝的國裏。」
wǒ gào sù nǐ men ， wǒ bú zài chī zhè yán xí ， zhí dào chéng jiù zài shén de guó lǐ 。」
for I tell you, I will no longer by any means eat of it until it is fulfilled in God’s Kingdom.”
耶穌接過杯來，祝謝了，說：「你們拿這個，大家分着喝。
yē sū jiē guò bēi lái ， zhù xiè le ， shuō ：「 nǐ men ná zhè ge ， dà jiā fēn zhe hē 。
He received a cup, and when he had given thanks, he said, “Take this and share it among yourselves,
我告訴你們，從今以後，我不再喝這葡萄汁，直等上帝的國來到。」
wǒ gào sù nǐ men ， cóng jīn yǐ hòu ， wǒ bú zài hē zhè pú táo zhī ， zhí děng shén de guó lái dào 。」
for I tell you, I will not drink at all again from the fruit of the vine, until God’s Kingdom comes.”
又拿起餅來，祝謝了，就擘開，遞給他們，說：「這是我的身體，為你們捨的，你們也應當如此行，為的是記念我。」
yòu ná qǐ bǐng lái ， zhù xiè le ， jiù bò kāi ， dì gěi tā men ， shuō ：「 zhè shì wǒ de shēn tǐ ， wèi nǐ men shè de ， nǐ men yě yīng dāng rú cǐ xíng ， wèi de shì jì niàn wǒ 。」
He took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body which is given for you. Do this in memory of me.”
飯後也照樣拿起杯來，說：「這杯是用我血所立的新約，是為你們流出來的。
fàn hòu yě zhào yàng ná qǐ bēi lái ， shuō ：「 zhè bēi shì yòng wǒ xuè suǒ lì de xīn yuē ， shì wèi nǐ men liú chū lái de 。
Likewise, he took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.
看哪， 那賣我之人的手與我一同在桌子上。
kàn nǎ ， nà mài wǒ zhī rén de shǒu yǔ wǒ yì tóng zài zhuō zi shàng 。
But behold, the hand of him who betrays me is with me on the table.
人子固然要照所預定的去世，但賣人子的人有禍了！」
rén zǐ gù rán yào zhào suǒ yù dìng de qù shì ， dàn mài rén zǐ de rén yǒu huò le ！」
The Son of Man indeed goes as it has been determined, but woe to that man through whom he is betrayed!”
他們就彼此對問，是哪一個要做這事。
tā men jiù bǐ cǐ duì wèn ， shì nǎ yí gè yào zuò zhè shì 。
They began to question among themselves which of them it was who would do this thing.
門徒起了爭論，他們中間哪一個可算為大。
mén tú qǐ le zhēng lùn ， tā men zhōng jiān nǎ yí gè kě suàn wèi dà 。
A dispute also arose among them, which of them was considered to be greatest.
耶穌說：「外邦人有君王為主治理他們，那掌權管他們的稱為恩主。
yē sū shuō ：「 wài bāng rén yǒu jūn wáng wéi zhǔ zhì lǐ tā men ， nà zhǎng quán guǎn tā men de chēng wéi ēn zhǔ 。
He said to them, “The kings of the nations lord it over them, and those who have authority over them are called ‘benefactors.’
但你們不可這樣；你們裏頭為大的，倒要像年幼的，為首領的，倒要像服事人的。
dàn nǐ men bù kě zhè yàng ； nǐ men lǐ tóu wèi dà de ， dǎo yào xiàng nián yòu de ， wéi shǒu lǐng de ， dǎo yào xiàng fú shì rén de 。
But not so with you. Rather, the one who is greater among you, let him become as the younger, and one who is governing, as one who serves.
是誰為大？是坐席的呢？是服事人的呢？不是坐席的大嗎？然而，我在你們中間如同服事人的。
shì shuí wèi dà ？ shì zuò xí de ne ？ shì fú shì rén de ne ？ bú shì zuò xí de dà ma ？ rán ér ， wǒ zài nǐ men zhōng jiān rú tóng fú shì rén de 。
For who is greater, one who sits at the table, or one who serves? Isn’t it he who sits at the table? But I am among you as one who serves.
我在磨煉之中，常和我同在的就是你們。
wǒ zài mó liàn zhī zhōng ， cháng hé wǒ tóng zài de jiù shì nǐ men 。
“But you are those who have continued with me in my trials.
我將國賜給你們，正如我父賜給我一樣，
wǒ jiāng guó cì gěi nǐ men ， zhèng rú wǒ fù cì gěi wǒ yí yàng ，
I confer on you a kingdom, even as my Father conferred on me,
叫你們在我國裏，坐在我的席上吃喝，並且坐在寶座上，審判以色列十二個支派。」
jiào nǐ men zài wǒ guó lǐ ， zuò zài wǒ de xí shàng chī hē ， bìng qiě zuò zài bǎo zuò shàng ， shěn pàn yǐ sè liè shí èr gè zhī pài 。」
that you may eat and drink at my table in my Kingdom. You will sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.”
主又說：「西門！西門！撒但想要得着你們，好篩你們像篩麥子一樣；
zhǔ yòu shuō ：「 xī mén ！ xī mén ！ sā dàn xiǎng yào dé zhe nǐ men ， hǎo shāi nǐ men xiàng shāi mài zi yí yàng ；
The Lord said, “Simon, Simon, behold, Satan asked to have all of you, that he might sift you as wheat,
但我已經為你祈求，叫你不至於失了信心。你回頭以後，要堅固你的弟兄。」
dàn wǒ yǐ jīng wèi nǐ qí qiú ， jiào nǐ bú zhì yú shī le xìn xīn 。 nǐ huí tóu yǐ hòu ， yào jiān gù nǐ de dì xiong 。」
but I prayed for you, that your faith wouldn’t fail. You, when once you have turned again, establish your brothers.”
彼得說：「主啊，我就是同你下監，同你受死，也是甘心！」
bǐ dé shuō ：「 zhǔ a ， wǒ jiù shì tóng nǐ xià jiān ， tóng nǐ shòu sǐ ， yě shì gān xīn ！」
He said to him, “Lord, I am ready to go with you both to prison and to death!”
耶穌說：「彼得，我告訴你，今日雞還沒有叫，你要三次說不認得我。」
yē sū shuō ：「 bǐ dé ， wǒ gào sù nǐ ， jīn rì jī hái méi yǒu jiào ， nǐ yào sān cì shuō bú rèn de wǒ 。」
He said, “I tell you, Peter, the rooster will by no means crow today until you deny that you know me three times.”
耶穌又對他們說：「我差你們出去的時候，沒有錢囊，沒有口袋，沒有鞋，你們缺少甚麼沒有？」他們說：「沒有。」
yē sū yòu duì tā men shuō ：「 wǒ chà nǐ men chū qù de shí hòu ， méi yǒu qián náng ， méi yǒu kǒu dài ， méi yǒu xié ， nǐ men quē shǎo shén me méi yǒu ？」 tā men shuō ：「 méi yǒu 。」
He said to them, “When I sent you out without purse, bag, and sandals, did you lack anything?” They said, “Nothing.”
耶穌說：「但如今有錢囊的可以帶着，有口袋的也可以帶着，沒有刀的要賣衣服買刀。
yē sū shuō ：「 dàn rú jīn yǒu qián náng de kě yǐ dài zhe ， yǒu kǒu dài de yě kě yǐ dài zhe ， méi yǒu dāo de yào mài yī fu mǎi dāo 。
Then he said to them, “But now, whoever has a purse, let him take it, and likewise a bag. Whoever has none, let him sell his cloak, and buy a sword.
我告訴你們，經上寫着說：『他被列在罪犯之中。』這話必應驗在我身上，因為那關係我的事必然成就。」
wǒ gào sù nǐ men ， jīng shàng xiě zhe shuō ：『 tā bèi liè zài zuì fàn zhī zhōng 。』 zhè huà bì yìng yàn zài wǒ shēn shàng ， yīn wèi nà guān xì wǒ de shì bì rán chéng jiù 。」
For I tell you that this which is written must still be fulfilled in me: ‘He was counted with transgressors.’ For that which concerns me is being fulfilled.”
他們說：「主啊，請看！這裏有兩把刀。」耶穌說：「夠了。」
tā men shuō ：「 zhǔ a ， qǐng kàn ！ zhè lǐ yǒu liǎng bǎ dāo 。」 yē sū shuō ：「 gòu le 。」
They said, “Lord, behold, here are two swords.” He said to them, “That is enough.”
耶穌出來，照常往橄欖山去，門徒也跟隨他。
yē sū chū lái ， zhào cháng wǎng gǎn lǎn shān qù ， mén tú yě gēn suí tā 。
He came out and went, as his custom was, to the Mount of Olives. His disciples also followed him.
到了那地方，就對他們說：「你們要禱告，免得入了迷惑。」
dào le nà dì fāng ， jiù duì tā men shuō ：「 nǐ men yào dǎo gào ， miǎn de rù le mí huò 。」
When he was at the place, he said to them, “Pray that you don’t enter into temptation.”
於是離開他們約有扔一塊石頭那麼遠，跪下禱告，
yú shì lí kāi tā men yuē yǒu rēng yí kuài shí tou nà me yuǎn ， guì xià dǎo gào ，
He was withdrawn from them about a stone’s throw, and he knelt down and prayed,
說：「父啊！你若願意，就把這杯撤去；然而，不要成就我的意思，只要成就你的意思。」
shuō ：「 fù a ！ nǐ ruò yuàn yì ， jiù bǎ zhè bēi chè qù ； rán ér ， bú yào chéng jiù wǒ de yì sī ， zhǐ yào chéng jiù nǐ de yì sī 。」
saying, “Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done.”
有一位天使從天上顯現，加添他的力量。
yǒu yí wèi tiān shǐ cóng tiān shàng xiǎn xiàn ， jiā tiān tā de lì liàng 。
An angel from heaven appeared to him, strengthening him.
耶穌極其傷痛，禱告更加懇切，汗珠如大血點滴在地上。
yē sū jí qí shāng tòng ， dǎo gào gèng jiā kěn qiè ， hàn zhū rú dà xuè diǎn dī zài dì shàng 。
Being in agony, he prayed more earnestly. His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down on the ground.
禱告完了，就起來，到門徒那裏，見他們因為憂愁都睡着了，
dǎo gào wán le ， jiù qǐ lái ， dào mén tú nà lǐ ， jiàn tā men yīn wèi yōu chóu dōu shuì zháo le ，
When he rose up from his prayer, he came to the disciples and found them sleeping because of grief,
就對他們說：「你們為甚麼睡覺呢？起來禱告，免得入了迷惑！」
jiù duì tā men shuō ：「 nǐ men wèi shén me shuì jiào ne ？ qǐ lái dǎo gào ， miǎn de rù le mí huò ！」
and said to them, “Why do you sleep? Rise and pray that you may not enter into temptation.”
說話之間，來了許多人。那十二個門徒裏名叫猶大的，走在前頭，就近耶穌，要與他親嘴。
shuō huà zhī jiān ， lái le xǔ duō rén 。 nà shí èr gè mén tú lǐ míng jiào yóu dà de ， zǒu zài qián tou ， jiù jìn yē sū ， yào yǔ tā qīn zuǐ 。
While he was still speaking, a crowd appeared. He who was called Judas, one of the twelve, was leading them. He came near to Jesus to kiss him.
耶穌對他說：「猶大！你用親嘴的暗號賣人子嗎？」
yē sū duì tā shuō ：「 yóu dà ！ nǐ yòng qīn zuǐ de àn hào mài rén zǐ ma ？」
But Jesus said to him, “Judas, do you betray the Son of Man with a kiss?”
左右的人見光景不好，就說：「主啊！我們拿刀砍可以不可以？」
zuǒ yòu de rén jiàn guāng jǐng bù hǎo ， jiù shuō ：「 zhǔ a ！ wǒ men ná dāo kǎn kě yǐ bù kě yǐ ？」
When those who were around him saw what was about to happen, they said to him, “Lord, shall we strike with the sword?”
內中有一個人把大祭司的僕人砍了一刀，削掉了他的右耳。
nèi zhōng yǒu yí gè rén bǎ dà jì sī de pú rén kǎn le yì dāo ， xiāo diào le tā de yòu ěr 。
A certain one of them struck the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear.
耶穌說：「到了這個地步，由他們吧！」就摸那人的耳朵，把他治好了。
yē sū shuō ：「 dào le zhè ge dì bù ， yóu tā men ba ！」 jiù mō nà rén de ěr duo ， bǎ tā zhì hǎo le 。
But Jesus answered, “Let me at least do this” —and he touched his ear and healed him.
耶穌對那些來拿他的祭司長和守殿官並長老說：「你們帶着刀棒出來拿我，如同拿強盜嗎？
yē sū duì nà xiē lái ná tā de jì sī zhǎng hé shǒu diàn guān bìng zhǎng lǎo shuō ：「 nǐ men dài zhe dāo bàng chū lái ná wǒ ， rú tóng ná qiáng dào ma ？
Jesus said to the chief priests, captains of the temple, and elders, who had come against him, “Have you come out as against a robber, with swords and clubs?
我天天同你們在殿裏，你們不下手拿我。現在卻是你們的時候，黑暗掌權了。」
wǒ tiān tiān tóng nǐ men zài diàn lǐ ， nǐ men bú xià shǒu ná wǒ 。 xiàn zài què shì nǐ men de shí hòu ， hēi àn zhǎng quán le 。」
When I was with you in the temple daily, you didn’t stretch out your hands against me. But this is your hour, and the power of darkness.”
他們拿住耶穌，把他帶到大祭司的宅裏。彼得遠遠地跟着。
tā men ná zhù yē sū ， bǎ tā dài dào dà jì sī de zhái lǐ 。 bǐ dé yuǎn yuǎn dì gēn zhe 。
They seized him and led him away, and brought him into the high priest’s house. But Peter followed from a distance.
他們在院子裏生了火，一同坐着；彼得也坐在他們中間。
tā men zài yuàn zi lǐ shēng le huǒ ， yì tóng zuò zhe ； bǐ dé yě zuò zài tā men zhōng jiān 。
When they had kindled a fire in the middle of the courtyard and had sat down together, Peter sat among them.
有一個使女看見彼得坐在火光裏，就定睛看他，說：「這個人素來也是同那人一夥的。」
yǒu yí gè shǐ nǚ kàn jiàn bǐ dé zuò zài huǒ guāng lǐ ， jiù dìng jīng kàn tā ， shuō ：「 zhè ge rén sù lái yě shì tóng nà rén yì huǒ de 。」
A certain servant girl saw him as he sat in the light, and looking intently at him, said, “This man also was with him.”
彼得卻不承認，說：「女子，我不認得他。」
bǐ dé què bù chéng rèn ， shuō ：「 nǚ zǐ ， wǒ bú rèn de tā 。」
He denied Jesus, saying, “Woman, I don’t know him.”
過了不多的時候，又有一個人看見他，說：「你也是他們一黨的。」彼得說：「你這個人！我不是。」
guò le bù duō de shí hòu ， yòu yǒu yí gè rén kàn jiàn tā ， shuō ：「 nǐ yě shì tā men yì dǎng de 。」 bǐ dé shuō ：「 nǐ zhè ge rén ！ wǒ bú shì 。」
After a little while someone else saw him and said, “You also are one of them!” But Peter answered, “Man, I am not!”
約過了一小時，又有一個人極力地說：「他實在是同那人一夥的，因為他也是加利利人。」
yuē guò le yì xiǎo shí ， yòu yǒu yí gè rén jí lì dì shuō ：「 tā shí zài shì tóng nà rén yì huǒ de ， yīn wèi tā yě shì jiā lì lì rén 。」
After about one hour passed, another confidently affirmed, saying, “Truly this man also was with him, for he is a Galilean!”
彼得說：「你這個人！我不曉得你說的是甚麼！」正說話之間，雞就叫了。
bǐ dé shuō ：「 nǐ zhè gè rén ！ wǒ bù xiǎo de nǐ shuō de shì shén me ！」 zhèng shuō huà zhī jiān ， jī jiù jiào le 。
But Peter said, “Man, I don’t know what you are talking about!” Immediately, while he was still speaking, a rooster crowed.
主轉過身來看彼得，彼得便想起主對他所說的話：「今日雞叫以先，你要三次不認我。」
zhǔ zhuǎn guò shēn lái kàn bǐ dé ， bǐ dé biàn xiǎng qǐ zhǔ duì tā suǒ shuō de huà ：「 jīn rì jī jiào yǐ xiān ， nǐ yào sān cì bú rèn wǒ 。」
The Lord turned and looked at Peter. Then Peter remembered the Lord’s word, how he said to him, “Before the rooster crows you will deny me three times.”
看守耶穌的人戲弄他，打他，
kān shǒu yē sū de rén xì nòng tā ， dǎ tā ，
The men who held Jesus mocked him and beat him.
又蒙着他的眼，問他說：「你是先知，告訴我們打你的是誰？」
yòu méng zhe tā de yǎn ， wèn tā shuō ：「 nǐ shì xiān zhī ， gào sù wǒ men dǎ nǐ de shì shuí ？」
Having blindfolded him, they struck him on the face and asked him, “Prophesy! Who is the one who struck you?”
他們還用許多別的話辱罵他。
tā men hái yòng xǔ duō bié de huà rǔ mà tā 。
They spoke many other things against him, insulting him.
天一亮，民間的眾長老連祭司長帶文士都聚會， 把耶穌帶到他們的公會裏，
tiān yí liàng ， mín jiān de zhòng zhǎng lǎo lián jì sī zhǎng dài wén shì dōu jù huì ， bǎ yē sū dài dào tā men de gōng huì lǐ ，
As soon as it was day, the assembly of the elders of the people were gathered together, both chief priests and scribes, and they led him away into their council, saying,
說：「你若是基督，就告訴我們。」耶穌說：「我若告訴你們，你們也不信；
shuō ：「 nǐ ruò shì jī dū ， jiù gào sù wǒ men 。」 yē sū shuō ：「 wǒ ruò gào sù nǐ men ， nǐ men yě bú xìn ；
“If you are the Christ, tell us.” But he said to them, “If I tell you, you won’t believe,
我若問你們，你們也不回答。
wǒ ruò wèn nǐ men ， nǐ men yě bù huí dá 。
and if I ask, you will in no way answer me or let me go.
從今以後，人子要坐在上帝權能的右邊。」
cóng jīn yǐ hòu ， rén zǐ yào zuò zài shén quán néng de yòu biān 。」
From now on, the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the power of God.”
他們都說：「這樣，你是上帝的兒子嗎？」耶穌說：「你們所說的是。」
tā men dōu shuō ：「 zhè yàng ， nǐ shì shén de ér zi ma ？」 yē sū shuō ：「 nǐ men suǒ shuō de shì 。」
They all said, “Are you then the Son of God?” He said to them, “You say it, because I am.”
他們說：「何必再用見證呢？他親口所說的，我們都親自聽見了。」
tā men shuō ：「 hé bì zài yòng jiàn zhèng ne ？ tā qīn kǒu suǒ shuō de ， wǒ men dōu qīn zì tīng jiàn le 。」
They said, “Why do we need any more witness? For we ourselves have heard from his own mouth!”
