馬太福音 1

亞伯拉罕的後裔，大衛的子孫 ，耶穌基督的家譜：

yà bó lā hǎn de hòu yì ， dà wèi de zǐ sūn ， yē sū jī dū de jiā pǔ ：

The book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.

亞伯拉罕生以撒；以撒生雅各；雅各生猶大和他的弟兄；

yà bó lā hǎn shēng yǐ sā ； yǐ sā shēng yǎ gè ； yǎ gè shēng yóu dà hé tā de dì xiong ；

Abraham became the father of Isaac. Isaac became the father of Jacob. Jacob became the father of Judah and his brothers.

猶大從她瑪氏生法勒斯和謝拉；法勒斯生希斯崙；希斯崙生亞蘭；

yóu dà cóng tā mǎ shì shēng fǎ lè sī hé xiè lā ； fǎ lè sī shēng xī sī ； xī sī shēng yà lán ；

Judah became the father of Perez and Zerah by Tamar. Perez became the father of Hezron. Hezron became the father of Ram.

亞蘭生亞米拿達；亞米拿達生拿順；拿順生撒門；

yà lán shēng yà mǐ ná dá ； yà mǐ ná dá shēng ná shùn ； ná shùn shēng sā mén ；

Ram became the father of Amminadab. Amminadab became the father of Nahshon. Nahshon became the father of Salmon.

撒門從喇合氏生波阿斯；波阿斯從路得氏生俄備得；俄備得生耶西；

sā mén cóng lā hé shì shēng bō ā sī ； bō ā sī cóng lù dé shì shēng é bèi dé ； é bèi dé shēng yē xī ；

Salmon became the father of Boaz by Rahab. Boaz became the father of Obed by Ruth. Obed became the father of Jesse.

耶西生大衛王。 大衛從烏利亞的妻子生所羅門；

yē xī shēng dà wèi wáng 。 dà wèi cóng wū lì yà de qī zǐ shēng suǒ luó mén ；

Jesse became the father of King David. David the king became the father of Solomon by her who had been Uriah’s wife.

所羅門生羅波安；羅波安生亞比雅；亞比雅生亞撒；

suǒ luó mén shēng luó bō ān ； luó bō ān shēng yà bǐ yǎ ； yà bǐ yǎ shēng yà sā ；

Solomon became the father of Rehoboam. Rehoboam became the father of Abijah. Abijah became the father of Asa.

亞撒生約沙法；約沙法生約蘭；約蘭生烏西雅；

yà sā shēng yuē shā fǎ ； yuē shā fǎ shēng yuē lán ； yuē lán shēng wū xī yǎ ；

Asa became the father of Jehoshaphat. Jehoshaphat became the father of Joram. Joram became the father of Uzziah.

烏西雅生約坦；約坦生亞哈斯；亞哈斯生希西家；

wū xī yǎ shēng yuē tǎn ； yuē tǎn shēng yà hā sī ； yà hā sī shēng xī xī jiā ；

Uzziah became the father of Jotham. Jotham became the father of Ahaz. Ahaz became the father of Hezekiah.

希西家生瑪拿西；瑪拿西生亞們；亞們生約西亞；

xī xī jiā shēng mǎ ná xī ； mǎ ná xī shēng yà men ； yà men shēng yuē xī yà ；

Hezekiah became the father of Manasseh. Manasseh became the father of Amon. Amon became the father of Josiah.

百姓被遷到巴比倫的時候，約西亞生耶哥尼雅和他的弟兄。

bǎi xìng bèi qiān dào bā bǐ lún de shí hòu ， yuē xī yà shēng yē gē ní yǎ hé tā de dì xiong 。

Josiah became the father of Jechoniah and his brothers at the time of the exile to Babylon.

遷到巴比倫之後，耶哥尼雅生撒拉鐵；撒拉鐵生所羅巴伯；

qiān dào bā bǐ lún zhī hòu ， yē gē ní yǎ shēng sā lā tiě ； sā lā tiě shēng suǒ luó bā bó ；

After the exile to Babylon, Jechoniah became the father of Shealtiel. Shealtiel became the father of Zerubbabel.

所羅巴伯生亞比玉；亞比玉生以利亞敬；以利亞敬生亞所；

suǒ luó bā bó shēng yà bǐ yù ； yà bǐ yù shēng yǐ lì yà jìng ； yǐ lì yà jìng shēng yà suǒ ；

Zerubbabel became the father of Abiud. Abiud became the father of Eliakim. Eliakim became the father of Azor.

亞所生撒督；撒督生亞金；亞金生以律；

yà suǒ shēng sā dū ； sā dū shēng yà jīn ； yà jīn shēng yǐ lǜ ；

Azor became the father of Zadok. Zadok became the father of Achim. Achim became the father of Eliud.

以律生以利亞撒；以利亞撒生馬但；馬但生雅各；

yǐ lǜ shēng yǐ lì yà sā ； yǐ lì yà sā shēng mǎ dàn ； mǎ dàn shēng yǎ gè ；

Eliud became the father of Eleazar. Eleazar became the father of Matthan. Matthan became the father of Jacob.

雅各生約瑟，就是馬利亞的丈夫。那稱為基督的耶穌是從馬利亞生的。

yǎ gè shēng yuē sè ， jiù shì mǎ lì yà de zhàng fu 。 nà chēng wéi jī dū de yē sū shì cóng mǎ lì yà shēng de 。

Jacob became the father of Joseph, the husband of Mary, from whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.

這樣，從亞伯拉罕到大衛共有十四代；從大衛到遷至巴比倫的時候也有十四代；從遷至巴比倫的時候到基督又有十四代。

zhè yàng ， cóng yà bó lā hǎn dào dà wèi gòng yǒu shí sì dài ； cóng dà wèi dào qiān zhì bā bǐ lún de shí hòu yě yǒu shí sì dài ； cóng qiān zhì bā bǐ lún de shí hòu dào jī dū yòu yǒu shí sì dài 。

So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; from David to the exile to Babylon fourteen generations; and from the carrying away to Babylon to the Christ, fourteen generations.

耶穌基督降生的事記在下面：他母親馬利亞已經許配了約瑟，還沒有迎娶，馬利亞就從聖靈懷了孕。

yē sū jī dū jiàng shēng de shì jì zài xià miàn ： tā mǔ qīn mǎ lì yà yǐ jīng xǔ pèi le yuē sè ， hái méi yǒu yíng qǔ ， mǎ lì yà jiù cóng shèng líng huái le yùn 。

Now the birth of Jesus Christ was like this: After his mother, Mary, was engaged to Joseph, before they came together, she was found pregnant by the Holy Spirit.

她丈夫約瑟是個義人，不願意明明地羞辱她，想要暗暗地把她休了。

tā zhàng fu yuē sè shì gè yì rén ， bú yuàn yì míng míng dì xiū rǔ tā ， xiǎng yào àn àn dì bǎ tā xiū le 。

Joseph, her husband, being a righteous man, and not willing to make her a public example, intended to put her away secretly.

正思念這事的時候，有主的使者向他夢中顯現，說：「大衛的子孫約瑟，不要怕！只管娶過你的妻子馬利亞來，因她所懷的孕是從聖靈來的。

zhèng sī niàn zhè shì de shí hòu ， yǒu zhǔ de shǐ zhě xiàng tā mèng zhōng xiǎn xiàn ， shuō ：「 dà wèi de zǐ sūn yuē sè ， bú yào pà ！ zhī guǎn qǔ guò nǐ de qī zǐ mǎ lì yà lái ， yīn tā suǒ huái de yùn shì cóng shèng líng lái de 。

But when he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, don’t be afraid to take to yourself Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.

她將要生一個兒子，你要給他起名叫耶穌，因他要將自己的百姓從罪惡裏救出來。」

tā jiāng yào shēng yí gè ér zi ， nǐ yào gěi tā qǐ míng jiào yē sū ， yīn tā yào jiāng zì jǐ de bǎi xìng cóng zuì è lǐ jiù chū lái 。」

She shall give birth to a son. You shall name him Jesus, for it is he who shall save his people from their sins.”

這一切的事成就是要應驗主藉先知所說的話，

zhè yí qiè de shì chéng jiù shì yào yìng yàn zhǔ jiè xiān zhī suǒ shuō de huà ，

Now all this has happened that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying,

說： 必有童女懷孕生子； 人要稱他的名為以馬內利。 （以馬內利翻出來就是「上帝與我們同在」。）

shuō ： bì yǒu tóng nǚ huái yùn shēng zǐ ； rén yào chēng tā de míng wèi yǐ mǎ nèi lì 。 （ yǐ mǎ nèi lì fān chū lái jiù shì 「 shén yǔ wǒ men tóng zài 」。）

“Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and shall give birth to a son. They shall call his name Immanuel,” which is, being interpreted, “God with us.”

約瑟醒了，起來，就遵着主使者的吩咐把妻子娶過來；

yuē sè xǐng le ， qǐ lái ， jiù zūn zhe zhǔ shǐ zhě de fēn fù bǎ qī zǐ qǔ guò lái ；

Joseph arose from his sleep, and did as the angel of the Lord commanded him, and took his wife to himself;

只是沒有和她同房，等她生了兒子 ，就給他起名叫耶穌。

zhī shì méi yǒu hé tā tóng fáng ， děng tā shēng le ér zi ， jiù gěi tā qǐ míng jiào yē sū 。

and didn’t know her sexually until she had given birth to her firstborn son. He named him Jesus.
