馬太福音 18

當時，門徒進前來，問耶穌說：「天國裏誰是最大的？」

dāng shí ， mén tú jìn qián lái ， wèn yē sū shuō ：「 tiān guó lǐ shuí shì zuì dà de ？」

In that hour the disciples came to Jesus, saying, “Who then is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven?”

耶穌便叫一個小孩子來，使他站在他們當中，

yē sū biàn jiào yí gè xiǎo hái zi lái ， shǐ tā zhàn zài tā men dāng zhōng ，

Jesus called a little child to himself, and set him in the middle of them

說：「我實在告訴你們，你們若不回轉，變成小孩子的樣式，斷不得進天國。

shuō ：「 wǒ shí zài gào sù nǐ men ， nǐ men ruò bù huí zhuǎn ， biàn chéng xiǎo hái zi de yàng shì ， duàn bù dé jìn tiān guó 。

and said, “Most certainly I tell you, unless you turn and become as little children, you will in no way enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.

所以，凡自己謙卑像這小孩子的，他在天國裏就是最大的。

suǒ yǐ ， fán zì jǐ qiān bēi xiàng zhè xiǎo hái zi de ， tā zài tiān guó lǐ jiù shì zuì dà de 。

Whoever therefore humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven.

凡為我的名接待一個像這小孩子的，就是接待我。」

fán wèi wǒ de míng jiē dài yí gè xiàng zhè xiǎo hái zi de ， jiù shì jiē dài wǒ 。」

Whoever receives one such little child in my name receives me,

「凡使這信我的一個小子跌倒的，倒不如把大磨石拴在這人的頸項上，沉在深海裏。

「 fán shǐ zhè xìn wǒ de yí gè xiǎo zi diē dǎo de ， dǎo bù rú bǎ dà mó shí shuān zài zhè rén de jǐng xiàng shàng ， chén zài shēn hǎi lǐ 。

but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him if a huge millstone were hung around his neck and that he were sunk in the depths of the sea.

這世界有禍了，因為將人絆倒；絆倒人的事是免不了的，但那絆倒人的有禍了！

zhè shì jiè yǒu huò le ， yīn wèi jiāng rén bàn dǎo ； bàn dǎo rén de shì shì miǎn bù liǎo de ， dàn nà bàn dǎo rén de yǒu huò le ！

“Woe to the world because of occasions of stumbling! For it must be that the occasions come, but woe to that person through whom the occasion comes!

倘若你一隻手，或是一隻腳，叫你跌倒，就砍下來丟掉。你缺一隻手，或是一隻腳，進入永生，強如有兩手兩腳被丟在永火裏。

tǎng ruò nǐ yì zhī shǒu ， huò shì yì zhī jiǎo ， jiào nǐ diē dǎo ， jiù kǎn xià lái diū diào 。 nǐ quē yì zhī shǒu ， huò shì yì zhī jiǎo ， jìn rù yǒng shēng ， qiáng rú yǒu liǎng shǒu liǎng jiǎo bèi diū zài yǒng huǒ lǐ 。

If your hand or your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life maimed or crippled, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into the eternal fire.

倘若你一隻眼叫你跌倒，就把它剜出來丟掉。你只有一隻眼進入永生，強如有兩隻眼被丟在地獄的火裏。」

tǎng ruò nǐ yì zhī yǎn jiào nǐ diē dǎo ， jiù bǎ tā wān chū lái diū diào 。 nǐ zhī yǒu yì zhī yǎn jìn rù yǒng shēng ， qiáng rú yǒu liǎng zhī yǎn bèi diū zài dì yù de huǒ lǐ 。」

If your eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into the Gehenna of fire.

「你們要小心，不可輕看這小子裏的一個；我告訴你們，他們的使者在天上，常見我天父的面。

「 nǐ men yào xiǎo xīn ， bù kě qīng kàn zhè xiǎo zi lǐ de yí gè ； wǒ gào sù nǐ men ， tā men de shǐ zhě zài tiān shàng ， cháng jiàn wǒ tiān fù de miàn 。

See that you don’t despise one of these little ones, for I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven.

For the Son of Man came to save that which was lost.

一個人若有一百隻羊，一隻走迷了路，你們的意思如何？他豈不撇下這九十九隻，往山裏去找那隻迷路的羊嗎？

yí gè rén ruò yǒu yì bǎi zhī yáng ， yì zhī zǒu mí le lù ， nǐ men de yì sī rú hé ？ tā qǐ bù piě xià zhè jiǔ shí jiǔ zhī ， wǎng shān lǐ qù zhǎo nà zhī mí lù de yáng ma ？

“What do you think? If a man has one hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine, go to the mountains, and seek that which has gone astray?

若是找着了，我實在告訴你們，他為這一隻羊歡喜，比為那沒有迷路的九十九隻歡喜還大呢！

ruò shì zhǎo zhe le ， wǒ shí zài gào sù nǐ men ， tā wèi zhè yì zhī yáng huān xǐ ， bǐ wèi nà méi yǒu mí lù de jiǔ shí jiǔ zhī huān xǐ hái dà ne ！

If he finds it, most certainly I tell you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine which have not gone astray.

你們在天上的父也是這樣，不願意這小子裏失喪一個。」

nǐ men zài tiān shàng de fù yě shì zhè yàng ， bú yuàn yì zhè xiǎo zi lǐ shī sàng yí gè 。」

Even so it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.

「倘若你的弟兄得罪你，你就去，趁着只有他和你在一處的時候，指出他的錯來。他若聽你，你便得了你的弟兄；

「 tǎng ruò nǐ de dì xiong dé zuì nǐ ， nǐ jiù qù ， chèn zhe zhǐ yǒu tā hé nǐ zài yí chù de shí hòu ， zhǐ chū tā de cuò lái 。 tā ruò tīng nǐ ， nǐ biàn dé le nǐ de dì xiong ；

“If your brother sins against you, go, show him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained back your brother.

他若不聽，你就另外帶一兩個人同去，要憑兩三個人的口作見證，句句都可定準。

tā ruò bù tīng ， nǐ jiù lìng wài dài yì liǎng gè rén tóng qù ， yào píng liǎng sān gè rén de kǒu zuò jiàn zhèng ， jù jù dōu kě dìng zhǔn 。

But if he doesn’t listen, take one or two more with you, that at the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.

若是不聽他們，就告訴教會；若是不聽教會，就看他像外邦人和稅吏一樣。

ruò shì bù tīng tā men ， jiù gào sù jiào huì ； ruò shì bù tīng jiào huì ， jiù kàn tā xiàng wài bāng rén hé shuì lì yí yàng 。

If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the assembly. If he refuses to hear the assembly also, let him be to you as a Gentile or a tax collector.

「我實在告訴你們，凡你們在地上所捆綁的，在天上也要捆綁；凡你們在地上所釋放的，在天上也要釋放。

「 wǒ shí zài gào sù nǐ men ， fán nǐ men zài dì shàng suǒ kǔn bǎng de ， zài tiān shàng yě yào kǔn bǎng ； fán nǐ men zài dì shàng suǒ shì fàng de ， zài tiān shàng yě yào shì fàng 。

Most certainly I tell you, whatever things you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever things you release on earth will have been released in heaven.

我又告訴你們，若是你們中間有兩個人在地上同心合意地求甚麼事，我在天上的父必為他們成全。

wǒ yòu gào sù nǐ men ， ruò shì nǐ men zhōng jiān yǒu liǎng gè rén zài dì shàng tóng xīn hé yì dì qiú shén me shì ， wǒ zài tiān shàng de fù bì wèi tā men chéng quán 。

Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven.

因為無論在哪裏，有兩三個人奉我的名聚會，那裏就有我在他們中間。」

yīn wèi wú lùn zài nǎ lǐ ， yǒu liǎng sān gè rén fèng wǒ de míng jù huì ， nà lǐ jiù yǒu wǒ zài tā men zhōng jiān 。」

For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them.”

那時，彼得進前來，對耶穌說：「主啊，我弟兄得罪我，我當饒恕他幾次呢？到七次可以嗎？」

nà shí ， bǐ dé jìn qián lái ， duì yē sū shuō ：「 zhǔ a ， wǒ dì xiong dé zuì wǒ ， wǒ dāng ráo shù tā jǐ cì ne ？ dào qī cì kě yǐ ma ？」

Then Peter came and said to him, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Until seven times?”

耶穌說：「我對你說，不是到七次，乃是到七十個七次。

yē sū shuō ：「 wǒ duì nǐ shuō ， bú shì dào qī cì ， nǎi shì dào qī shí gè qī cì 。

Jesus said to him, “I don’t tell you until seven times, but, until seventy times seven.

天國好像一個王要和他僕人算帳。

tiān guó hǎo xiàng yí gè wáng yào hé tā pú rén suàn zhàng 。

Therefore the Kingdom of Heaven is like a certain king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants.

才算的時候，有人帶了一個欠一千萬銀子的來。

cái suàn de shí hòu ， yǒu rén dài le yí gè qiàn yì qiān wàn yín zi de lái 。

When he had begun to settle, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents.

因為他沒有甚麼償還之物，主人吩咐把他和他妻子兒女，並一切所有的都賣了償還。

yīn wèi tā méi yǒu shén me cháng huán zhī wù ， zhǔ rén fēn fù bǎ tā hé tā qī zǐ ér nǚ ， bìng yí qiè suǒ yǒu de dōu mài le cháng huán 。

But because he couldn’t pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, with his wife, his children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.

那僕人就俯伏拜他，說：『主啊，寬容我，將來我都要還清。』

nà pú rén jiù fǔ fú bài tā ， shuō ：『 zhǔ a ， kuān róng wǒ ， jiāng lái wǒ dōu yào huán qīng 。』

The servant therefore fell down and knelt before him, saying, ‘Lord, have patience with me, and I will repay you all!’

那僕人的主人就動了慈心，把他釋放了，並且免了他的債。

nà pú rén de zhǔ rén jiù dòng le cí xīn ， bǎ tā shì fàng le ， bìng qiě miǎn le tā de zhài 。

The lord of that servant, being moved with compassion, released him and forgave him the debt.

「那僕人出來，遇見他的一個同伴欠他十兩銀子，便揪着他，掐住他的喉嚨，說：『你把所欠的還我！』

「 nà pú rén chū lái ， yù jiàn tā de yí gè tóng bàn qiàn tā shí liǎng yín zi ， biàn jiū zhe tā ， qiā zhù tā de hóu lóng ， shuō ：『 nǐ bǎ suǒ qiàn de hái wǒ ！』

“But that servant went out and found one of his fellow servants who owed him one hundred denarii, and he grabbed him and took him by the throat, saying, ‘Pay me what you owe!’

他的同伴就俯伏央求他，說：『寬容我吧，將來我必還清。』

tā de tóng bàn jiù fǔ fú yāng qiú tā ， shuō ：『 kuān róng wǒ ba ， jiāng lái wǒ bì huán qīng 。』

“So his fellow servant fell down at his feet and begged him, saying, ‘Have patience with me, and I will repay you!’

他不肯，竟去把他下在監裏，等他還了所欠的債。

tā bù kěn ， jìng qù bǎ tā xià zài jiān lǐ ， děng tā hái le suǒ qiàn de zhài 。

He would not, but went and cast him into prison until he should pay back that which was due.

眾同伴看見他所做的事就甚憂愁，去把這事都告訴了主人。

zhòng tóng bàn kàn jiàn tā suǒ zuò de shì jiù shèn yōu chóu ， qù bǎ zhè shì dōu gào sù le zhǔ rén 。

So when his fellow servants saw what was done, they were exceedingly sorry, and came and told their lord all that was done.

於是主人叫了他來，對他說：『你這惡奴才！你央求我，我就把你所欠的都免了，

yú shì zhǔ rén jiào le tā lái ， duì tā shuō ：『 nǐ zhè è nú cái ！ nǐ yāng qiú wǒ ， wǒ jiù bǎ nǐ suǒ qiàn de dōu miǎn le ，

Then his lord called him in and said to him, ‘You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt because you begged me.

你不應當憐恤你的同伴，像我憐恤你嗎？』

nǐ bú yīng dāng lián xù nǐ de tóng bàn ， xiàng wǒ lián xù nǐ ma ？』

Shouldn’t you also have had mercy on your fellow servant, even as I had mercy on you?’

主人就大怒，把他交給掌刑的，等他還清了所欠的債。

zhǔ rén jiù dà nù ， bǎ tā jiāo gěi zhǎng xíng de ， děng tā huán qīng le suǒ qiàn de zhài 。

His lord was angry, and delivered him to the tormentors until he should pay all that was due to him.

你們各人若不從心裏饒恕你的弟兄，我天父也要這樣待你們了。」

nǐ men gè rén ruò bù cóng xīn lǐ ráo shù nǐ de dì xiong ， wǒ tiān fù yě yào zhè yàng dài nǐ men le 。」

So my heavenly Father will also do to you, if you don’t each forgive your brother from your hearts for his misdeeds.”
