馬太福音 23

那時，耶穌對眾人和門徒講論，

nà shí ， yē sū duì zhòng rén hé mén tú jiǎng lùn ，

Then Jesus spoke to the multitudes and to his disciples,

說：「文士和法利賽人坐在摩西的位上，

shuō ：「 wén shì hé fǎ lì sài rén zuò zài mó xī de wèi shàng ，

saying, “The scribes and the Pharisees sit on Moses’ seat.

凡他們所吩咐你們的，你們都要謹守遵行。但不要效法他們的行為；因為他們能說，不能行。

fán tā men suǒ fēn fù nǐ men de ， nǐ men dōu yào jǐn shǒu zūn xíng 。 dàn bú yào xiào fǎ tā men de xíng wéi ； yīn wèi tā men néng shuō ， bù néng xíng 。

All things therefore whatever they tell you to observe, observe and do, but don’t do their works; for they say, and don’t do.

他們把難擔的重擔捆起來，擱在人的肩上，但自己一個指頭也不肯動。

tā men bǎ nán dān de zhòng dàn kǔn qǐ lái ， gē zài rén de jiān shàng ， dàn zì jǐ yí gè zhǐ tou yě bù kěn dòng 。

For they bind heavy burdens that are grievous to be borne, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not lift a finger to help them.

他們一切所做的事都是要叫人看見，所以將佩戴的經文做寬了，衣裳的繸子做長了，

tā men yí qiè suǒ zuò de shì dōu shì yào jiào rén kàn jiàn ， suǒ yǐ jiāng pèi dài de jīng wén zuò kuān le ， yī shang de zǐ zuò cháng le ，

But they do all their works to be seen by men. They make their phylacteries broad and enlarge the fringes of their garments,

喜愛筵席上的首座，會堂裏的高位，

xǐ ài yán xí shàng de shǒu zuò ， huì táng lǐ de gāo wèi ，

and love the place of honor at feasts, the best seats in the synagogues,

又喜愛人在街市上問他安，稱呼他拉比 。

yòu xǐ ài rén zài jiē shì shàng wèn tā ān ， chēng hu tā lā bǐ 。

the salutations in the marketplaces, and to be called ‘Rabbi, Rabbi’ by men.

但你們不要受拉比的稱呼，因為只有一位是你們的夫子；你們都是弟兄。

dàn nǐ men bú yào shòu lā bǐ de chēng hu ， yīn wèi zhǐ yǒu yí wèi shì nǐ men de fū zǐ ； nǐ men dōu shì dì xiong 。

But you are not to be called ‘Rabbi’, for one is your teacher, the Christ, and all of you are brothers.

也不要稱呼地上的人為父，因為只有一位是你們的父，就是在天上的父。

yě bú yào chēng hu dì shàng de rén wéi fù ， yīn wèi zhǐ yǒu yí wèi shì nǐ men de fù ， jiù shì zài tiān shàng de fù 。

Call no man on the earth your father, for one is your Father, he who is in heaven.

也不要受師尊的稱呼，因為只有一位是你們的師尊，就是基督。

yě bú yào shòu shī zūn de chēng hu ， yīn wèi zhǐ yǒu yí wèi shì nǐ men de shī zūn ， jiù shì jī dū 。

Neither be called masters, for one is your master, the Christ.

你們中間誰為大，誰就要作你們的用人。

nǐ men zhōng jiān shuí wèi dà ， shuí jiù yào zuò nǐ men de yòng rén 。

But he who is greatest among you will be your servant.

凡自高的，必降為卑；自卑的，必升為高。

fán zì gāo de ， bì jiàng wèi bēi ； zì bēi de ， bì shēng wèi gāo 。

Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.

「你們這假冒為善的文士和法利賽人有禍了！因為你們正當人前，把天國的門關了，自己不進去，正要進去的人，你們也不容他們進去。

「 nǐ men zhè jiǎ mào wèi shàn de wén shì hé fǎ lì sài rén yǒu huò le ！ yīn wèi nǐ men zhèng dāng rén qián ， bǎ tiān guó de mén guān le ， zì jǐ bú jìn qù ， zhèng yào jìn qù de rén ， nǐ men yě bù róng tā men jìn qù 。

“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you devour widows’ houses, and as a pretense you make long prayers. Therefore you will receive greater condemnation.

“But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you shut up the Kingdom of Heaven against men; for you don’t enter in yourselves, neither do you allow those who are entering in to enter.

「你們這假冒為善的文士和法利賽人有禍了！因為你們走遍洋海陸地，勾引一個人入教，既入了教，卻使他作地獄之子，比你們還加倍。

「 nǐ men zhè jiǎ mào wèi shàn de wén shì hé fǎ lì sài rén yǒu huò le ！ yīn wèi nǐ men zǒu biàn yáng hǎi lù dì ， gōu yǐn yí gè rén rù jiào ， jì rù le jiào ， què shǐ tā zuò dì yù zhī zǐ ， bǐ nǐ men hái jiā bèi 。

Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel around by sea and land to make one proselyte; and when he becomes one, you make him twice as much a son of Gehenna as yourselves.

「你們這瞎眼領路的有禍了！你們說：『凡指着殿起誓的，這算不得甚麼；只是凡指着殿中金子起誓的，他就該謹守。』

「 nǐ men zhè xiā yǎn lǐng lù de yǒu huò le ！ nǐ men shuō ：『 fán zhǐ zhe diàn qǐ shì de ， zhè suàn bù dé shén me ； zhǐ shì fán zhǐ zhe diàn zhōng jīn zǐ qǐ shì de ， tā jiù gāi jǐn shǒu 。』

“Woe to you, you blind guides, who say, ‘Whoever swears by the temple, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gold of the temple, he is obligated.’

你們這無知瞎眼的人哪，甚麼是大的？是金子呢？還是叫金子成聖的殿呢？

nǐ men zhè wú zhī xiā yǎn de rén nǎ ， shén me shì dà de ？ shì jīn zǐ ne ？ hái shì jiào jīn zǐ chéng shèng de diàn ne ？

You blind fools! For which is greater, the gold or the temple that sanctifies the gold?

你們又說：『凡指着壇起誓的，這算不得甚麼；只是凡指着壇上禮物起誓的，他就該謹守。』

nǐ men yòu shuō ：『 fán zhǐ zhe tán qǐ shì de ， zhè suàn bù dé shén me ； zhǐ shì fán zhǐ zhe tán shàng lǐ wù qǐ shì de ， tā jiù gāi jǐn shǒu 。』

And, ‘Whoever swears by the altar, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gift that is on it, he is obligated.’

你們這瞎眼的人哪，甚麼是大的？是禮物呢？還是叫禮物成聖的壇呢？

nǐ men zhè xiā yǎn de rén nǎ ， shén me shì dà de ？ shì lǐ wù ne ？ hái shì jiào lǐ wù chéng shèng de tán ne ？

You blind fools! For which is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifies the gift?

所以，人指着壇起誓，就是指着壇和壇上一切所有的起誓；

suǒ yǐ ， rén zhǐ zhe tán qǐ shì ， jiù shì zhǐ zhe tán hé tán shàng yí qiè suǒ yǒu de qǐ shì ；

He therefore who swears by the altar, swears by it and by everything on it.

人指着殿起誓，就是指着殿和那住在殿裏的起誓；

rén zhǐ zhe diàn qǐ shì ， jiù shì zhǐ zhe diàn hé nà zhù zài diàn lǐ de qǐ shì ；

He who swears by the temple, swears by it and by him who has been living in it.

人指着天起誓，就是指着上帝的寶座和那坐在上面的起誓。

rén zhǐ zhe tiān qǐ shì ， jiù shì zhǐ zhe shén de bǎo zuò hé nà zuò zài shàng miàn de qǐ shì 。

He who swears by heaven, swears by the throne of God and by him who sits on it.

「你們這假冒為善的文士和法利賽人有禍了！因為你們將薄荷、茴香、芹菜獻上十分之一，那律法上更重的事，就是公義、憐憫、信實，反倒不行了。這更重的是你們當行的；那也是不可不行的。

「 nǐ men zhè jiǎ mào wèi shàn de wén shì hé fǎ lì sài rén yǒu huò le ！ yīn wèi nǐ men jiāng bò he 、 huí xiāng 、 qín cài xiàn shàng shí fēn zhī yī ， nà lǜ fǎ shàng gèng zhòng de shì ， jiù shì gōng yì 、 lián mǐn 、 xìn shí ， fǎn dǎo bù xíng le 。 zhè gèng zhòng de shì nǐ men dāng xíng de ； nà yě shì bù kě bù xíng de 。

“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you tithe mint, dill, and cumin, and have left undone the weightier matters of the law: justice, mercy, and faith. But you ought to have done these, and not to have left the other undone.

你們這瞎眼領路的，蠓蟲你們就濾出來，駱駝你們倒吞下去。

nǐ men zhè xiā yǎn lǐng lù de ， měng chóng nǐ men jiù lǜ chū lái ， luò tuó nǐ men dǎo tūn xià qù 。

You blind guides, who strain out a gnat, and swallow a camel!

「你們這假冒為善的文士和法利賽人有禍了！因為你們洗淨杯盤的外面，裏面卻盛滿了勒索和放蕩。

「 nǐ men zhè jiǎ mào wèi shàn de wén shì hé fǎ lì sài rén yǒu huò le ！ yīn wèi nǐ men xǐ jìng bēi pán de wài miàn ， lǐ miàn què shèng mǎn le lè suǒ hé fàng dàng 。

“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and unrighteousness.

你這瞎眼的法利賽人，先洗淨杯盤的裏面，好叫外面也乾淨了。

nǐ zhè xiā yǎn de fǎ lì sài rén ， xiān xǐ jìng bēi pán de lǐ miàn ， hǎo jiào wài miàn yě gān jìng le 。

You blind Pharisee, first clean the inside of the cup and of the platter, that its outside may become clean also.

「你們這假冒為善的文士和法利賽人有禍了！因為你們好像粉飾的墳墓，外面好看，裏面卻裝滿了死人的骨頭和一切的污穢。

「 nǐ men zhè jiǎ mào wèi shàn de wén shì hé fǎ lì sài rén yǒu huò le ！ yīn wèi nǐ men hǎo xiàng fěn shì de fén mù ， wài miàn hǎo kàn ， lǐ miàn què zhuāng mǎn le sǐ rén de gǔ tou hé yí qiè de wū huì 。

“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitened tombs, which outwardly appear beautiful, but inwardly are full of dead men’s bones and of all uncleanness.

你們也是如此，在人前，外面顯出公義來，裏面卻裝滿了假善和不法的事。

nǐ men yě shì rú cǐ ， zài rén qián ， wài miàn xiǎn chū gōng yì lái ， lǐ miàn què zhuāng mǎn le jiǎ shàn hé bù fǎ de shì 。

Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.

「你們這假冒為善的文士和法利賽人有禍了！因為你們建造先知的墳，修飾義人的墓，說：

「 nǐ men zhè jiǎ mào wèi shàn de wén shì hé fǎ lì sài rén yǒu huò le ！ yīn wèi nǐ men jiàn zào xiān zhī de fén ， xiū shì yì rén de mù ， shuō ：

“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you build the tombs of the prophets and decorate the tombs of the righteous,

『若是我們在我們祖宗的時候，必不和他們同流先知的血。』

『 ruò shì wǒ men zài wǒ men zǔ zōng de shí hòu ， bì bù hé tā men tóng liú xiān zhī de xuè 。』

and say, ‘If we had lived in the days of our fathers, we wouldn’t have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.’

這就是你們自己證明是殺害先知者的子孫了。

zhè jiù shì nǐ men zì jǐ zhèng míng shì shā hài xiān zhī zhě de zǐ sūn le 。

Therefore you testify to yourselves that you are children of those who killed the prophets.

你們去充滿你們祖宗的惡貫吧！

nǐ men qù chōng mǎn nǐ men zǔ zōng de è guàn ba ！

Fill up, then, the measure of your fathers.

你們這些蛇類、毒蛇之種啊，怎能逃脫地獄的刑罰呢？

nǐ men zhè xiē shé lèi 、 dú shé zhī zhǒng a ， zěn néng táo tuō dì yù de xíng fá ne ？

You serpents, you offspring of vipers, how will you escape the judgment of Gehenna?

所以我差遣先知和智慧人並文士到你們這裏來，有的你們要殺害，要釘十字架；有的你們要在會堂裏鞭打，從這城追逼到那城，

suǒ yǐ wǒ chāi qiǎn xiān zhī hé zhì huì rén bìng wén shì dào nǐ men zhè lǐ lái ， yǒu de nǐ men yào shā hài ， yào dīng shí zì jià ； yǒu de nǐ men yào zài huì táng lǐ biān dǎ ， cóng zhè chéng zhuī bī dào nà chéng ，

Therefore, behold, I send to you prophets, wise men, and scribes. Some of them you will kill and crucify; and some of them you will scourge in your synagogues and persecute from city to city,

叫世上所流義人的血都歸到你們身上，從義人亞伯的血起，直到你們在殿和壇中間所殺的巴拉加的兒子撒迦利亞的血為止。

jiào shì shàng suǒ liú yì rén de xuè dōu guī dào nǐ men shēn shàng ， cóng yì rén yà bó de xuè qǐ ， zhí dào nǐ men zài diàn hé tán zhōng jiān suǒ shā de bā lā jiā de ér zi sā jiā lì yà de xuè wéi zhǐ 。

that on you may come all the righteous blood shed on the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zachariah son of Barachiah, whom you killed between the sanctuary and the altar.

我實在告訴你們，這一切的罪都要歸到這世代了。」

wǒ shí zài gào sù nǐ men ， zhè yí qiè de zuì dōu yào guī dào zhè shì dài le 。」

Most certainly I tell you, all these things will come upon this generation.

「耶路撒冷啊，耶路撒冷啊，你常殺害先知，又用石頭打死那奉差遣到你這裏來的人。我多次願意聚集你的兒女，好像母雞把小雞聚集在翅膀底下，只是你們不願意。

「 yē lù sā lěng a ， yē lù sā lěng a ， nǐ cháng shā hài xiān zhī ， yòu yòng shí tou dǎ sǐ nà fèng chāi qiǎn dào nǐ zhè lǐ lái de rén 。 wǒ duō cì yuàn yì jù jí nǐ de ér nǚ ， hǎo xiàng mǔ jī bǎ xiǎo jī jù jí zài chì bǎng dǐ xià ， zhǐ shì nǐ men bú yuàn yì 。

“Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I would have gathered your children together, even as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you would not!

看哪，你們的家成為荒場留給你們。

kàn nǎ ， nǐ men de jiā chéng wéi huāng chǎng liú gěi nǐ men 。

Behold, your house is left to you desolate.

我告訴你們，從今以後，你們不得再見我，直等到你們說：『奉主名來的是應當稱頌的。』」

wǒ gào sù nǐ men ， cóng jīn yǐ hòu ， nǐ men bù dé zài jiàn wǒ ， zhí děng dào nǐ men shuō ：『 fèng zhǔ míng lái de shì yīng dāng chēng sòng de 。』」

For I tell you, you will not see me from now on, until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!’”
