馬太福音 25

「那時，天國好比十個童女拿着燈出去迎接新郎。

「 nà shí ， tiān guó hǎo bǐ shí gè tóng nǚ ná zhe dēng chū qù yíng jiē xīn láng 。

“Then the Kingdom of Heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.

其中有五個是愚拙的，五個是聰明的。

qí zhōng yǒu wǔ gè shì yú zhuō de ， wǔ gè shì cōng ming de 。

Five of them were foolish, and five were wise.

愚拙的拿着燈，卻不預備油；

yú zhuō de ná zhe dēng ， què bú yù bèi yóu ；

Those who were foolish, when they took their lamps, took no oil with them,

聰明的拿着燈，又預備油在器皿裏。

cōng ming de ná zhe dēng ， yòu yù bèi yóu zài qì mǐn lǐ 。

but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

新郎遲延的時候，她們都打盹，睡着了。

xīn láng chí yán de shí hòu ， tā men dōu dǎ dǔn ， shuì zháo le 。

Now while the bridegroom delayed, they all slumbered and slept.

半夜有人喊着說：『新郎來了，你們出來迎接他！』

bàn yè yǒu rén hǎn zhe shuō ：『 xīn láng lái le ， nǐ men chū lái yíng jiē tā ！』

But at midnight there was a cry, ‘Behold! The bridegroom is coming! Come out to meet him!’

那些童女就都起來收拾燈。

nà xiē tóng nǚ jiù dōu qǐ lái shōu shí dēng 。

Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.

愚拙的對聰明的說：『請分點油給我們， 因為我們的燈要滅了。』

yú zhuō de duì cōng míng de shuō ：『 qǐng fēn diǎn yóu gěi wǒ men ， yīn wèi wǒ men de dēng yào miè le 。』

The foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’

聰明的回答說：『恐怕不夠你我用的；不如你們自己到賣油的那裏去買吧。』

cōng ming de huí dá shuō ：『 kǒng pà bú gòu nǐ wǒ yòng de ； bù rú nǐ men zì jǐ dào mài yóu de nà lǐ qù mǎi ba 。』

But the wise answered, saying, ‘What if there isn’t enough for us and you? You go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’

她們去買的時候，新郎到了。那預備好了的，同他進去坐席，門就關了。

tā men qù mǎi de shí hòu ， xīn láng dào le 。 nà yù bèi hǎo le de ， tóng tā jìn qù zuò xí ， mén jiù guān le 。

While they went away to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast, and the door was shut.

其餘的童女隨後也來了，說：『主啊，主啊，給我們開門！』

qí yú de tóng nǚ suí hòu yě lái le ， shuō ：『 zhǔ a ， zhǔ a ， gěi wǒ men kāi mén ！』

Afterward the other virgins also came, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us.’

他卻回答說：『我實在告訴你們，我不認識你們。』

tā què huí dá shuō ：『 wǒ shí zài gào sù nǐ men ， wǒ bú rèn shi nǐ men 。』

But he answered, ‘Most certainly I tell you, I don’t know you.’

所以，你們要警醒；因為那日子，那時辰，你們不知道。」

suǒ yǐ ， nǐ men yào jǐng xǐng ； yīn wèi nà rì zi ， nà shí chén ， nǐ men bù zhī dào 。」

Watch therefore, for you don’t know the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.

「天國又好比一個人要往外國去，就叫了僕人來，把他的家業交給他們，

「 tiān guó yòu hǎo bǐ yí gè rén yào wǎng wài guó qù ， jiù jiào le pú rén lái ， bǎ tā de jiā yè jiāo gěi tā men ，

“For it is like a man going into another country, who called his own servants and entrusted his goods to them.

按着各人的才幹給他們銀子：一個給了五千，一個給了二千，一個給了一千，就往外國去了。

àn zhe gè rén de cái gàn gěi tā men yín zi ： yí gè gěi le wǔ qiān ， yí gè gěi le èr qiān ， yí gè gěi le yì qiān ， jiù wǎng wài guó qù le 。

To one he gave five talents, to another two, to another one, to each according to his own ability. Then he went on his journey.

那領五千的隨即拿去做買賣，另外賺了五千。

nà lǐng wǔ qiān de suí jí ná qù zuò mǎi mài ， lìng wài zhuàn le wǔ qiān 。

Immediately he who received the five talents went and traded with them, and made another five talents.

那領二千的也照樣另賺了二千。

nà lǐng èr qiān de yě zhào yàng lìng zhuàn le èr qiān 。

In the same way, he also who got the two gained another two.

但那領一千的去掘開地，把主人的銀子埋藏了。

dàn nà lǐng yì qiān de qù jué kāi dì ， bǎ zhǔ rén de yín zi mái cáng le 。

But he who received the one talent went away and dug in the earth and hid his lord’s money.

過了許久，那些僕人的主人來了，和他們算帳。

guò le xǔ jiǔ ， nà xiē pú rén de zhǔ rén lái le ， hé tā men suàn zhàng 。

“Now after a long time the lord of those servants came, and settled accounts with them.

那領五千銀子的又帶着那另外的五千來，說：『主啊，你交給我五千銀子。請看，我又賺了五千。』

nà lǐng wǔ qiān yín zi de yòu dài zhe nà lìng wài de wǔ qiān lái ， shuō ：『 zhǔ a ， nǐ jiāo gěi wǒ wǔ qiān yín zi 。 qǐng kàn ， wǒ yòu zhuàn le wǔ qiān 。』

He who received the five talents came and brought another five talents, saying, ‘Lord, you delivered to me five talents. Behold, I have gained another five talents in addition to them.’

主人說：『好，你這又良善又忠心的僕人，你在不多的事上有忠心，我要把許多事派你管理；可以進來享受你主人的快樂。』

zhǔ rén shuō ：『 hǎo ， nǐ zhè yòu liáng shàn yòu zhōng xīn de pú rén ， nǐ zài bù duō de shì shàng yǒu zhōng xīn ， wǒ yào bǎ xǔ duō shì pài nǐ guǎn lǐ ； kě yǐ jìn lái xiǎng shòu nǐ zhǔ rén de kuài lè 。』

“His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a few things, I will set you over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’

那領二千的也來，說：『主啊，你交給我二千銀子。請看，我又賺了二千。』

nà lǐng èr qiān de yě lái ， shuō ：『 zhǔ a ， nǐ jiāo gěi wǒ èr qiān yín zi 。 qǐng kàn ， wǒ yòu zhuàn le èr qiān 。』

“He also who got the two talents came and said, ‘Lord, you delivered to me two talents. Behold, I have gained another two talents in addition to them.’

主人說：『好，你這又良善又忠心的僕人，你在不多的事上有忠心，我要把許多事派你管理；可以進來享受你主人的快樂。』

zhǔ rén shuō ：『 hǎo ， nǐ zhè yòu liáng shàn yòu zhōng xīn de pú rén ， nǐ zài bù duō de shì shàng yǒu zhōng xīn ， wǒ yào bǎ xǔ duō shì pài nǐ guǎn lǐ ； kě yǐ jìn lái xiǎng shòu nǐ zhǔ rén de kuài lè 。』

“His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a few things. I will set you over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’

那領一千的也來，說：『主啊，我知道你是忍心的人，沒有種的地方要收割，沒有散的地方要聚斂，

nà lǐng yì qiān de yě lái ， shuō ：『 zhǔ a ， wǒ zhī dào nǐ shì rěn xīn de rén ， méi yǒu zhǒng de dì fāng yào shōu gē ， méi yǒu sàn de dì fāng yào jù liǎn ，

“He also who had received the one talent came and said, ‘Lord, I knew you that you are a hard man, reaping where you didn’t sow, and gathering where you didn’t scatter.

我就害怕，去把你的一千銀子埋藏在地裏。請看，你的原銀子在這裏。』

wǒ jiù hài pà ， qù bǎ nǐ de yì qiān yín zi mái cáng zài dì lǐ 。 qǐng kàn ， nǐ de yuán yín zi zài zhè lǐ 。』

I was afraid, and went away and hid your talent in the earth. Behold, you have what is yours.’

主人回答說：『你這又惡又懶的僕人，你既知道我沒有種的地方要收割，沒有散的地方要聚斂，

zhǔ rén huí dá shuō ：『 nǐ zhè yòu è yòu lǎn de pú rén ， nǐ jì zhī dào wǒ méi yǒu zhǒng de dì fāng yào shōu gē ， méi yǒu sàn de dì fāng yào jù liǎn ，

“But his lord answered him, ‘You wicked and slothful servant. You knew that I reap where I didn’t sow, and gather where I didn’t scatter.

就當把我的銀子放給兌換銀錢的人，到我來的時候，可以連本帶利收回。

jiù dāng bǎ wǒ de yín zi fàng gěi duì huàn yín qián de rén ， dào wǒ lái de shí hòu ， kě yǐ lián běn dài lì shōu huí 。

You ought therefore to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming I should have received back my own with interest.

奪過他這一千來，給那有一萬的。

duó guò tā zhè yì qiān lái ， gěi nà yǒu yí wàn de 。

Take away therefore the talent from him and give it to him who has the ten talents.

因為凡有的，還要加給他，叫他有餘；沒有的，連他所有的也要奪過來。

yīn wèi fán yǒu de ， hái yào jiā gěi tā ， jiào tā yǒu yú ； méi yǒu de ， lián tā suǒ yǒu de yě yào duó guò lái 。

For to everyone who has will be given, and he will have abundance, but from him who doesn’t have, even that which he has will be taken away.

把這無用的僕人丟在外面黑暗裏；在那裏必要哀哭切齒了。』」

bǎ zhè wú yòng de pú rén diū zài wài miàn hēi àn lǐ ； zài nà lǐ bì yào āi kū qiè chǐ le 。』」

Throw out the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

「當人子在他榮耀裏、同着眾天使降臨的時候，要坐在他榮耀的寶座上。

「 dāng rén zǐ zài tā róng yào lǐ 、 tóng zhe zhòng tiān shǐ jiàng lín de shí hòu ， yào zuò zài tā róng yào de bǎo zuò shàng 。

“But when the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then he will sit on the throne of his glory.

萬民都要聚集在他面前。他要把他們分別出來，好像牧羊的分別綿羊山羊一般，

wàn mín dōu yào jù jí zài tā miàn qián 。 tā yào bǎ tā men fēn bié chū lái ， hǎo xiàng mù yáng de fēn bié mián yáng shān yáng yì bān ，

Before him all the nations will be gathered, and he will separate them one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.

把綿羊安置在右邊，山羊在左邊。

bǎ mián yáng ān zhì zài yòu biān ， shān yáng zài zuǒ biān 。

He will set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

於是王要向那右邊的說：『你們這蒙我父賜福的，可來承受那創世以來為你們所預備的國；

yú shì wáng yào xiàng nà yòu biān de shuō ：『 nǐ men zhè méng wǒ fù cì fú de ， kě lái chéng shòu nà chuàng shì yǐ lái wèi nǐ men suǒ yù bèi de guó ；

Then the King will tell those on his right hand, ‘Come, blessed of my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world;

因為我餓了，你們給我吃，渴了，你們給我喝；我作客旅，你們留我住；

yīn wèi wǒ è le ， nǐ men gěi wǒ chī ， kě le ， nǐ men gěi wǒ hē ； wǒ zuò kè lǚ ， nǐ men liú wǒ zhù ；

for I was hungry and you gave me food to eat. I was thirsty and you gave me drink. I was a stranger and you took me in.

我赤身露體，你們給我穿；我病了，你們看顧我；我在監裏，你們來看我。』

wǒ chì shēn lù tǐ ， nǐ men gěi wǒ chuān ； wǒ bìng le ， nǐ men kàn gù wǒ ； wǒ zài jiān lǐ ， nǐ men lái kàn wǒ 。』

I was naked and you clothed me. I was sick and you visited me. I was in prison and you came to me.’

義人就回答說：『主啊，我們甚麼時候見你餓了，給你吃，渴了，給你喝？

yì rén jiù huí dá shuō ：『 zhǔ a ， wǒ men shén me shí hòu jiàn nǐ è le ， gěi nǐ chī ， kě le ， gěi nǐ hē ？

“Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you a drink?

甚麼時候見你作客旅，留你住，或是赤身露體，給你穿？

shén me shí hòu jiàn nǐ zuò kè lǚ ， liú nǐ zhù ， huò shì chì shēn lù tǐ ， gěi nǐ chuān ？

When did we see you as a stranger and take you in, or naked and clothe you?

又甚麼時候見你病了，或是在監裏，來看你呢？』

yòu shén me shí hòu jiàn nǐ bìng le ， huò shì zài jiān lǐ ， lái kàn nǐ ne ？』

When did we see you sick or in prison and come to you?’

王要回答說：『我實在告訴你們，這些事你們既做在我這弟兄中一個最小的身上，就是做在我身上了。』

wáng yào huí dá shuō ：『 wǒ shí zài gào sù nǐ men ， zhè xiē shì nǐ men jì zuò zài wǒ zhè dì xiong zhōng yí gè zuì xiǎo de shēn shàng ， jiù shì zuò zài wǒ shēn shàng le 。』

“The King will answer them, ‘Most certainly I tell you, because you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’

王又要向那左邊的說：『你們這被咒詛的人，離開我！進入那為魔鬼和他的使者所預備的永火裏去！

wáng yòu yào xiàng nà zuǒ biān de shuō ：『 nǐ men zhè bèi zhòu zǔ de rén ， lí kāi wǒ ！ jìn rù nà wèi mó guǐ hé tā de shǐ zhě suǒ yù bèi de yǒng huǒ lǐ qù ！

Then he will say also to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire which is prepared for the devil and his angels;

因為我餓了，你們不給我吃，渴了，你們不給我喝；

yīn wèi wǒ è le ， nǐ men bù gěi wǒ chī ， kě le ， nǐ men bù gěi wǒ hē ；

for I was hungry, and you didn’t give me food to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave me no drink;

我作客旅，你們不留我住；我赤身露體，你們不給我穿；我病了，我在監裏，你們不來看顧我。』

wǒ zuò kè lǚ ， nǐ men bù liú wǒ zhù ； wǒ chì shēn lù tǐ ， nǐ men bù gěi wǒ chuān ； wǒ bìng le ， wǒ zài jiān lǐ ， nǐ men bù lái kàn gù wǒ 。』

I was a stranger, and you didn’t take me in; naked, and you didn’t clothe me; sick, and in prison, and you didn’t visit me.’

他們也要回答說：『主啊，我們甚麼時候見你餓了，或渴了，或作客旅，或赤身露體，或病了，或在監裏，不伺候你呢？』

tā men yě yào huí dá shuō ：『 zhǔ a ， wǒ men shén me shí hòu jiàn nǐ è le ， huò kě le ， huò zuò kè lǚ ， huò chì shēn lù tǐ ， huò bìng le ， huò zài jiān lǐ ， bú cì hou nǐ ne ？』

“Then they will also answer, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and didn’t help you?’

王要回答說：『我實在告訴你們，這些事你們既不做在我這弟兄中一個最小的身上，就是不做在我身上了。』

wáng yào huí dá shuō ：『 wǒ shí zài gào sù nǐ men ， zhè xiē shì nǐ men jì bú zuò zài wǒ zhè dì xiong zhōng yí gè zuì xiǎo de shēn shàng ， jiù shì bú zuò zài wǒ shēn shàng le 。』

“Then he will answer them, saying, ‘Most certainly I tell you, because you didn’t do it to one of the least of these, you didn’t do it to me.’

這些人要往永刑裏去；那些義人要往永生裏去。」

zhè xiē rén yào wǎng yǒng xíng lǐ qù ； nà xiē yì rén yào wǎng yǒng shēng lǐ qù 。」

These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
