馬太福音 8

耶穌下了山，有許多人跟着他。

yē sū xià le shān ， yǒu xǔ duō rén gēn zhe tā 。

When he came down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him.

有一個長大痲瘋的來拜他，說：「主若肯，必能叫我潔淨了。」

yǒu yí gè cháng dà má fēng de lái bài tā ， shuō ：「 zhǔ ruò kěn ， bì néng jiào wǒ jié jìng le 。」

Behold, a leper came to him and worshiped him, saying, “Lord, if you want to, you can make me clean.”

耶穌伸手摸他，說：「我肯，你潔淨了吧！」他的大痲瘋立刻就潔淨了。

yē sū shēn shǒu mō tā ， shuō ：「 wǒ kěn ， nǐ jié jìng le ba ！」 tā de dà má fēng lì kè jiù jié jìng le 。

Jesus stretched out his hand and touched him, saying, “I want to. Be made clean.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

耶穌對他說：「你切不可告訴人，只要去把身體給祭司察看，獻上摩西所吩咐的禮物，對眾人作證據。」

yē sū duì tā shuō ：「 nǐ qiè bù kě gào sù rén ， zhǐ yào qù bǎ shēn tǐ gěi jì sī chá kàn ， xiàn shàng mó xī suǒ fēn fù de lǐ wù ， duì zhòng rén zuò zhèng jù 。」

Jesus said to him, “See that you tell nobody; but go, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”

耶穌進了迦百農，有一個百夫長進前來，求他說：

yē sū jìn le jiā bǎi nóng ， yǒu yí gè bǎi fū zhǎng jìn qián lái ， qiú tā shuō ：

When he came into Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking him for help,

「主啊，我的僕人害癱瘓病，躺在家裏，甚是疼苦。」

「 zhǔ a ， wǒ de pú rén hài tān huàn bìng ， tǎng zài jiā lǐ ， shèn shì téng kǔ 。」

saying, “Lord, my servant lies in the house paralyzed, grievously tormented.”

耶穌說：「我去醫治他。」

yē sū shuō ：「 wǒ qù yī zhì tā 。」

Jesus said to him, “I will come and heal him.”

百夫長回答說：「主啊，你到我舍下，我不敢當；只要你說一句話，我的僕人就必好了。

bǎi fū zhǎng huí dá shuō ：「 zhǔ a ， nǐ dào wǒ shè xià ， wǒ bù gǎn dāng ； zhǐ yào nǐ shuō yí jù huà ， wǒ de pú rén jiù bì hǎo le 。

The centurion answered, “Lord, I’m not worthy for you to come under my roof. Just say the word, and my servant will be healed.

因為我在人的權下，也有兵在我以下；對這個說『去！』他就去；對那個說『來！』他就來；對我的僕人說『你做這事！』他就去做。」

yīn wèi wǒ zài rén de quán xià ， yě yǒu bīng zài wǒ yǐ xià ； duì zhè ge shuō 『 qù ！』 tā jiù qù ； duì nà ge shuō 『 lái ！』 tā jiù lái ； duì wǒ de pú rén shuō ：『 nǐ zuò zhè shì ！』 tā jiù qù zuò 。」

For I am also a man under authority, having under myself soldiers. I tell this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and tell another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and tell my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”

耶穌聽見就希奇，對跟從的人說：「我實在告訴你們，這麼大的信心，就是在以色列中，我也沒有遇見過。

yē sū tīng jiàn jiù xī qí ， duì gēn cóng de rén shuō ：「 wǒ shí zài gào sù nǐ men ， zhè me dà de xìn xīn ， jiù shì zài yǐ sè liè zhōng ， wǒ yě méi yǒu yù jiàn guò 。

When Jesus heard it, he marveled and said to those who followed, “Most certainly I tell you, I haven’t found so great a faith, not even in Israel.

我又告訴你們，從東從西，將有許多人來，在天國裏與亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各一同坐席；

wǒ yòu gào sù nǐ men ， cóng dōng cóng xī ， jiāng yǒu xǔ duō rén lái ， zài tiān guó lǐ yǔ yà bó lā hǎn 、 yǐ sā 、 yǎ gè yì tóng zuò xí ；

I tell you that many will come from the east and the west, and will sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the Kingdom of Heaven,

惟有本國的子民竟被趕到外邊黑暗裏去，在那裏必要哀哭切齒了。」

wéi yǒu běn guó de zǐ mín jìng bèi gǎn dào wài biān hēi àn lǐ qù ， zài nà lǐ bì yào āi kū qiè chǐ le 。」

but the children of the Kingdom will be thrown out into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

耶穌對百夫長說：「你回去吧！照你的信心，給你成全了。」那時，他的僕人就好了。

yē sū duì bǎi fū zhǎng shuō ：「 nǐ huí qù ba ！ zhào nǐ de xìn xīn ， gěi nǐ chéng quán le 。」 nà shí ， tā de pú rén jiù hǎo le 。

Jesus said to the centurion, “Go your way. Let it be done for you as you have believed.” His servant was healed in that hour.

耶穌到了彼得家裏，見彼得的岳母害熱病躺着。

yē sū dào le bǐ dé jiā lǐ ， jiàn bǐ dé de yuè mǔ hài rè bìng tǎng zhe 。

When Jesus came into Peter’s house, he saw his wife’s mother lying sick with a fever.

耶穌把她的手一摸，熱就退了；她就起來服事耶穌。

yē sū bǎ tā de shǒu yì mō ， rè jiù tuì le ； tā jiù qǐ lái fú shì yē sū 。

He touched her hand, and the fever left her. So she got up and served him.

到了晚上，有人帶着許多被鬼附的來到耶穌跟前，他只用一句話就把鬼都趕出去，並且治好了一切有病的人。

dào le wǎn shàng ， yǒu rén dài zhe xǔ duō bèi guǐ fù de lái dào yē sū gēn qián ， tā zhī yòng yí jù huà jiù bǎ guǐ dōu gǎn chū qù ， bìng qiě zhì hǎo le yí qiè yǒu bìng de rén 。

When evening came, they brought to him many possessed with demons. He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick,

這是要應驗先知以賽亞的話，說： 他代替我們的軟弱， 擔當我們的疾病。

zhè shì yào yìng yàn xiān zhī yǐ sài yà de huà ， shuō ： tā dài tì wǒ men de ruǎn ruò ， dān dāng wǒ men de jí bìng 。

that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying, “He took our infirmities and bore our diseases.”

耶穌見許多人圍着他，就吩咐渡到那邊去。

yē sū jiàn xǔ duō rén wéi zhe tā ， jiù fēn fù dù dào nà biān qù 。

Now when Jesus saw great multitudes around him, he gave the order to depart to the other side.

有一個文士來，對他說：「夫子，你無論往哪裏去，我要跟從你。」

yǒu yí gè wén shì lái ， duì tā shuō ：「 fū zǐ ， nǐ wú lùn wǎng nǎ lǐ qù ， wǒ yào gēn cóng nǐ 。」

A scribe came and said to him, “Teacher, I will follow you wherever you go.”

耶穌說：「狐狸有洞，天空的飛鳥有窩，人子卻沒有枕頭的地方。」

yē sū shuō ：「 hú li yǒu dòng ， tiān kōng de fēi niǎo yǒu wō ， rén zǐ què méi yǒu zhěn tou de dì fāng 。」

Jesus said to him, “The foxes have holes and the birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head.”

又有一個門徒對耶穌說：「主啊，容我先回去埋葬我的父親。」

yòu yǒu yí gè mén tú duì yē sū shuō ：「 zhǔ a ， róng wǒ xiān huí qù mái zàng wǒ de fù qīn 。」

Another of his disciples said to him, “Lord, allow me first to go and bury my father.”

耶穌說：「任憑死人埋葬他們的死人；你跟從我吧！」

yē sū shuō ：「 rèn píng sǐ rén mái zàng tā men de sǐ rén ； nǐ gēn cóng wǒ ba ！」

But Jesus said to him, “Follow me, and leave the dead to bury their own dead.”

耶穌上了船，門徒跟着他。

yē sū shàng le chuán ， mén tú gēn zhe tā 。

When he got into a boat, his disciples followed him.

海裏忽然起了暴風，甚至船被波浪掩蓋；耶穌卻睡着了。

hǎi lǐ hū rán qǐ le bào fēng ， shèn zhì chuán bèi bō làng yǎn gài ； yē sū què shuì zháo le 。

Behold, a violent storm came up on the sea, so much that the boat was covered with the waves; but he was asleep.

門徒來叫醒了他，說：「主啊，救我們，我們喪命啦！」

mén tú lái jiào xǐng le tā ， shuō ：「 zhǔ a ， jiù wǒ men ， wǒ men sàng mìng lā ！」

The disciples came to him and woke him up, saying, “Save us, Lord! We are dying!”

耶穌說：「你們這小信的人哪，為甚麼膽怯呢？」於是起來，斥責風和海，風和海就大大地平靜了。

yē sū shuō ：「 nǐ men zhè xiǎo xìn de rén nǎ ， wèi shén me dǎn qiè ne ？」 yú shì qǐ lái ， chì zé fēng hé hǎi ， fēng hé hǎi jiù dà dà dì píng jìng le 。

He said to them, “Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then he got up, rebuked the wind and the sea, and there was a great calm.

眾人希奇，說：「這是怎樣的人？連風和海也聽從他了！」

zhòng rén xī qí ， shuō ：「 zhè shì zěn yàng de rén ？ lián fēng hé hǎi yě tīng cóng tā le ！」

The men marveled, saying, “What kind of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?”

耶穌既渡到那邊去，來到加大拉人的地方，就有兩個被鬼附的人從墳塋裏出來迎着他，極其凶猛，甚至沒有人能從那條路上經過。

yē sū jì dù dào nà biān qù ， lái dào jiā dà lā rén de dì fāng ， jiù yǒu liǎng gè bèi guǐ fù de rén cóng fén yíng lǐ chū lái yíng zhe tā ， jí qí xiōng měng ， shèn zhì méi yǒu rén néng cóng nà tiáo lù shang jīng guò 。

When he came to the other side, into the country of the Gergesenes, two people possessed by demons met him there, coming out of the tombs, exceedingly fierce, so that nobody could pass that way.

他們喊着說：「上帝的兒子，我們與你有甚麼相干？時候還沒有到，你就上這裏來叫我們受苦嗎？」

tā men hǎn zhe shuō ：「 shén de ér zi ， wǒ men yǔ nǐ yǒu shén me xiāng gān ？ shí hòu hái méi yǒu dào ， nǐ jiù shàng zhè lǐ lái jiào wǒ men shòu kǔ ma ？」

Behold, they cried out, saying, “What do we have to do with you, Jesus, Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before the time?”

離他們很遠，有一大群豬吃食。

lí tā men hěn yuǎn ， yǒu yí dà qún zhū chī shí 。

Now there was a herd of many pigs feeding far away from them.

鬼就央求耶穌，說：「若把我們趕出去，就打發我們進入豬群吧！」

guǐ jiù yāng qiú yē sū ， shuō ：「 ruò bǎ wǒ men gǎn chū qù ， jiù dǎ fā wǒ men jìn rù zhū qún ba ！」

The demons begged him, saying, “If you cast us out, permit us to go away into the herd of pigs.”

耶穌說：「去吧！」鬼就出來，進入豬群。全群忽然闖下山崖，投在海裏淹死了。

yē sū shuō ：「 qù ba ！」 guǐ jiù chū lái ， jìn rù zhū qún 。 quán qún hū rán chuǎng xià shān yá ， tóu zài hǎi lǐ yān sǐ le 。

He said to them, “Go!” They came out and went into the herd of pigs; and behold, the whole herd of pigs rushed down the cliff into the sea and died in the water.

放豬的就逃跑進城，將這一切事和被鬼附的人所遭遇的都告訴人。

fàng zhū de jiù táo pǎo jìn chéng ， jiāng zhè yí qiè shì hé bèi guǐ fù de rén suǒ zāo yù de dōu gào sù rén 。

Those who fed them fled and went away into the city and told everything, including what happened to those who were possessed with demons.

合城的人都出來迎見耶穌，既見了就央求他離開他們的境界。

hé chéng de rén dōu chū lái yíng jiàn yē sū ， jì jiàn le jiù yāng qiú tā lí kāi tā men de jìng jiè 。

Behold, all the city came out to meet Jesus. When they saw him, they begged that he would depart from their borders.
