民數記 35

耶和華在摩押平原－約旦河邊、耶利哥對面曉諭摩西說：

yē hé huá zài mó yā píng yuán — yuē dàn hé biān 、 yē lì gē duì miàn xiǎo yù mó xī shuō ：

The LORD spoke to Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho, saying,

「你吩咐以色列人，要從所得為業的地中把些城給利未人居住，也要把這城四圍的郊野給利未人。

「 nǐ fēn fù yǐ sè liè rén ， yào cóng suǒ dé wèi yè de dì zhōng bǎ xiē chéng gěi lì wèi rén jū zhù ， yě yào bǎ zhè chéng sì wéi de jiāo yě gěi lì wèi rén 。

“Command the children of Israel to give to the Levites cities to dwell in out of their inheritance. You shall give pasture lands for the cities around them to the Levites.

這城邑要歸他們居住，城邑的郊野可以牧養他們的牛羊和各樣的牲畜，又可以安置他們的財物。

zhè chéng yì yào guī tā men jū zhù ， chéng yì de jiāo yě kě yǐ mù yǎng tā men de niú yáng hé gè yàng de shēng chù ， yòu kě yǐ ān zhì tā men de cái wù 。

They shall have the cities to dwell in. Their pasture lands shall be for their livestock, and for their possessions, and for all their animals.

你們給利未人的郊野，要從城根起，四圍往外量一千肘。

nǐ men gěi lì wèi rén de jiāo yě ， yào cóng chéng gēn qǐ ， sì wéi wǎng wài liáng yì qiān zhǒu 。

“The pasture lands of the cities, which you shall give to the Levites, shall be from the wall of the city and outward one thousand cubits around it.

另外東量二千肘，南量二千肘，西量二千肘，北量二千肘，為邊界，城在當中；這要歸他們作城邑的郊野。

lìng wài dōng liáng èr qiān zhǒu ， nán liáng èr qiān zhǒu ， xī liáng èr qiān zhǒu ， běi liáng èr qiān zhǒu ， wèi biān jiè ， chéng zài dāng zhōng ； zhè yào guī tā men zuò chéng yì de jiāo yě 。

You shall measure outside of the city for the east side two thousand cubits, and for the south side two thousand cubits, and for the west side two thousand cubits, and for the north side two thousand cubits, the city being in the middle. This shall be the pasture lands of their cities.

你們給利未人的城邑，其中當有六座逃城，使誤殺人的可以逃到那裏。此外還要給他們四十二座城。

nǐ men gěi lì wèi rén de chéng yì ， qí zhōng dāng yǒu liù zuò táo chéng ， shǐ wù shā rén de kě yǐ táo dào nà lǐ 。 cǐ wài hái yào gěi tā men sì shí èr zuò chéng 。

“The cities which you shall give to the Levites, they shall be the six cities of refuge, which you shall give for the man slayer to flee to. Besides them you shall give forty-two cities.

你們要給利未人的城，共有四十八座，連城帶郊野都要給他們。

nǐ men yào gěi lì wèi rén de chéng ， gòng yǒu sì shí bā zuò ， lián chéng dài jiāo yě dōu yào gěi tā men 。

All the cities which you shall give to the Levites shall be forty-eight cities together with their pasture lands.

以色列人所得的地業從中要把些城邑給利未 人；人多的就多給，人少的就少給；各支派要按所承受為業之地把城邑給利未人。」

yǐ sè liè rén suǒ dé de dì yè cóng zhōng yào bǎ xiē chéng yì gěi lì wèi rén ； rén duō de jiù duō gěi ， rén shǎo de jiù shǎo gěi ； gè zhī pài yào àn suǒ chéng shòu wèi yè zhī dì bǎ chéng yì gěi lì wèi rén 。」

Concerning the cities which you shall give of the possession of the children of Israel, from the many you shall take many, and from the few you shall take few. Everyone according to his inheritance which he inherits shall give some of his cities to the Levites.”

耶和華曉諭摩西說：

yē hé huá xiǎo yù mó xī shuō ：

The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

「你吩咐以色列人說：你們過約旦河，進了迦南地，

「 nǐ fēn fù yǐ sè liè rén shuō ： nǐ men guò yuē dàn hé ， jìn le jiā nán dì ，

“Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, ‘When you pass over the Jordan into the land of Canaan,

就要分出幾座城，為你們作逃城，使誤殺人的可以逃到那裏。

jiù yào fēn chū jǐ zuò chéng ， wèi nǐ men zuò táo chéng ， shǐ wù shā rén de kě yǐ táo dào nà lǐ 。

then you shall appoint for yourselves cities to be cities of refuge for you, that the man slayer who kills any person unwittingly may flee there.

這些城可以作逃避報仇人的城，使誤殺人的不至於死，等他站在會眾面前聽審判。

zhè xiē chéng kě yǐ zuò táo bì bào chóu rén de chéng ， shǐ wù shā rén de bú zhì yú sǐ ， děng tā zhàn zài huì zhòng miàn qián tīng shěn pàn 。

The cities shall be for your refuge from the avenger, that the man slayer not die until he stands before the congregation for judgment.

你們所分出來的城，要作六座逃城。

nǐ men suǒ fēn chū lái de chéng ， yào zuò liù zuò táo chéng 。

The cities which you shall give shall be for you six cities of refuge.

在約旦河東要分出三座城，在迦南地也要分出三座城，都作逃城。

zài yuē dàn hé dōng yào fēn chū sān zuò chéng ， zài jiā nán dì yě yào fēn chū sān zuò chéng ， dōu zuò táo chéng 。

You shall give three cities beyond the Jordan, and you shall give three cities in the land of Canaan. They shall be cities of refuge.

這六座城要給以色列人和他們中間的外人，並寄居的，作為逃城，使誤殺人的都可以逃到那裏。

zhè liù zuò chéng yào gěi yǐ sè liè rén hé tā men zhōng jiān de wài rén ， bìng jì jū de ， zuò wéi táo chéng ， shǐ wù shā rén de dōu kě yǐ táo dào nà lǐ 。

These six cities shall be refuge for the children of Israel, for the stranger, and for the foreigner living among them, that everyone who kills any person unwittingly may flee there.

「倘若人用鐵器打人，以致打死，他就是故殺人的；故殺人的必被治死。

「 tǎng ruò rén yòng tiě qì dǎ rén ， yǐ zhì dǎ sǐ ， tā jiù shì gù shā rén de ； gù shā rén de bì bèi zhì sǐ 。

“‘But if he struck him with an instrument of iron, so that he died, he is a murderer. The murderer shall surely be put to death.

若用可以打死人的石頭打死了人，他就是故殺人的；故殺人的必被治死。

ruò yòng kě yǐ dǎ sǐ rén de shí tou dǎ sǐ le rén ， tā jiù shì gù shā rén de ； gù shā rén de bì bèi zhì sǐ 。

If he struck him with a stone in the hand, by which a man may die, and he died, he is a murderer. The murderer shall surely be put to death.

若用可以打死人的木器打死了人，他就是故殺人的；故殺人的必被治死。

ruò yòng kě yǐ dǎ sǐ rén de mù qì dǎ sǐ le rén ， tā jiù shì gù shā rén de ； gù shā rén de bì bèi zhì sǐ 。

Or if he struck him with a weapon of wood in the hand, by which a man may die, and he died, he is a murderer. The murderer shall surely be put to death.

報血仇的必親自殺那故殺人的，一遇見就殺他。

bào xuè chóu de bì qīn zì shā nà gù shā rén de ， yí yù jiàn jiù shā tā 。

The avenger of blood shall himself put the murderer to death. When he meets him, he shall put him to death.

人若因怨恨把人推倒，或是埋伏往人身上扔物，以致於死，

rén ruò yīn yuàn hèn bǎ rén tuī dǎo ， huò shì mái fú wǎng rén shēn shàng rēng wù ， yǐ zhì yú sǐ ，

If he shoved him out of hatred, or hurled something at him while lying in wait, so that he died,

或是因仇恨用手打人，以致於死，那打人的必被治死。他是故殺人的；報血仇的一遇見就殺他。

huò shì yīn chóu hèn yòng shǒu dǎ rén ， yǐ zhì yú sǐ ， nà dǎ rén de bì bèi zhì sǐ 。 tā shì gù shā rén de ； bào xuè chóu de yí yù jiàn jiù shā tā 。

or in hostility struck him with his hand, so that he died, he who struck him shall surely be put to death. He is a murderer. The avenger of blood shall put the murderer to death when he meets him.

「倘若人沒有仇恨，忽然將人推倒，或是沒有埋伏把物扔在人身上，

「 tǎng ruò rén méi yǒu chóu hèn ， hū rán jiāng rén tuī dǎo ， huò shì méi yǒu mái fú bǎ wù rēng zài rén shēn shàng ，

“‘But if he shoved him suddenly without hostility, or hurled on him anything without lying in wait,

或是沒有看見的時候用可以打死人的石頭扔在人身上，以致於死，本來與他無仇，也無意害他。

huò shì méi yǒu kàn jiàn de shí hòu yòng kě yǐ dǎ sǐ rén de shí tóu rēng zài rén shēn shàng ， yǐ zhì yú sǐ ， běn lái yǔ tā wú chóu ， yě wú yì hài tā 。

or with any stone, by which a man may die, not seeing him, and cast it on him so that he died, and he was not his enemy and not seeking his harm,

會眾就要照典章，在打死人的和報血仇的中間審判。

huì zhòng jiù yào zhào diǎn zhāng ， zài dǎ sǐ rén de hé bào xuè chóu de zhōng jiān shěn pàn 。

then the congregation shall judge between the striker and the avenger of blood according to these ordinances.

會眾要救這誤殺人的脫離報血仇人的手，也要使他歸入逃城。他要住在其中，直等到受聖膏的大祭司死了。

huì zhòng yào jiù zhè wù shā rén de tuō lí bào xuè chóu rén de shǒu ， yě yào shǐ tā guī rù táo chéng 。 tā yào zhù zài qí zhōng ， zhí děng dào shòu shèng gāo de dà jì sī sǐ le 。

The congregation shall deliver the man slayer out of the hand of the avenger of blood, and the congregation shall restore him to his city of refuge, where he had fled. He shall dwell therein until the death of the high priest, who was anointed with the holy oil.

但誤殺人的，無論甚麼時候，若出了逃城的境外，

dàn wù shā rén de ， wú lùn shén me shí hòu ， ruò chū le táo chéng de jìng wài ，

“‘But if the man slayer shall at any time go beyond the border of his city of refuge where he flees,

報血仇的在逃城境外遇見他，將他殺了，報血仇的就沒有流血之罪。

bào xuè chóu de zài táo chéng jìng wài yù jiàn tā ， jiāng tā shā le ， bào xuè chóu de jiù méi yǒu liú xuè zhī zuì 。

and the avenger of blood finds him outside of the border of his city of refuge, and the avenger of blood kills the man slayer, he shall not be guilty of blood,

因為誤殺人的該住在逃城裏，等到大祭司死了。大祭司死了以後，誤殺人的才可以回到他所得為業之地。

yīn wèi wù shā rén de gāi zhù zài táo chéng lǐ ， děng dào dà jì sī sǐ le 。 dà jì sī sǐ le yǐ hòu ， wù shā rén de cái kě yǐ huí dào tā suǒ dé wèi yè zhī dì 。

because he should have remained in his city of refuge until the death of the high priest. But after the death of the high priest, the man slayer shall return into the land of his possession.

這在你們一切的住處，要作你們世世代代的律例典章。

zhè zài nǐ men yí qiè de zhù chù ， yào zuò nǐ men shì shì dài dài de lǜ lì diǎn zhāng 。

“‘These things shall be for a statute and ordinance to you throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

「無論誰故殺人，要憑幾個見證人的口把那故殺人的殺了，只是不可憑一個見證的口叫人死。

「 wú lùn shuí gù shā rén ， yào píng jǐ gè jiàn zhèng rén de kǒu bǎ nà gù shā rén de shā le ， zhǐ shì bù kě píng yí gè jiàn zhèng de kǒu jiào rén sǐ 。

“‘Whoever kills any person, the murderer shall be slain based on the testimony of witnesses; but one witness shall not testify alone against any person so that he dies.

故殺人、犯死罪的，你們不可收贖價代替他的命；他必被治死。

gù shā rén 、 fàn sǐ zuì de ， nǐ men bù kě shōu shú jià dài tì tā de mìng ； tā bì bèi zhì sǐ 。

“‘Moreover you shall take no ransom for the life of a murderer who is guilty of death. He shall surely be put to death.

那逃到逃城的人，你們不可為他收贖價，使他在大祭司未死以先再來住在本地。

nà táo dào táo chéng de rén ， nǐ men bù kě wèi tā shōu shú jià ， shǐ tā zài dà jì sī wèi sǐ yǐ xiān zài lái zhù zài běn dì 。

“‘You shall take no ransom for him who has fled to his city of refuge, that he may come again to dwell in the land before the death of the priest.

這樣，你們就不污穢所住之地，因為血是污穢地的；若有在地上流人血的，非流那殺人者的血，那地就不得潔淨 。

zhè yàng ， nǐ men jiù bù wū huì suǒ zhù zhī dì ， yīn wèi xuè shì wū huì dì de ； ruò yǒu zài dì shàng liú rén xuè de ， fēi liú nà shā rén zhě de xuè ， nà dì jiù bù dé jié jìng 。

“‘So you shall not pollute the land where you live; for blood pollutes the land. No atonement can be made for the land for the blood that is shed in it, but by the blood of him who shed it.

你們不可玷污所住之地，就是我住在其中之地，因為我－耶和華住在以色列人中間。」

nǐ men bù kě diàn wū suǒ zhù zhī dì ， jiù shì wǒ zhù zài qí zhōng zhī dì ， yīn wèi wǒ — yē hé huá zhù zài yǐ sè liè rén zhōng jiān 。」

You shall not defile the land which you inhabit, where I dwell; for I, the LORD, dwell among the children of Israel.’”
