箴言 2

我兒，你若領受我的言語， 存記我的命令，

wǒ ér ， nǐ ruò lǐng shòu wǒ de yán yǔ ， cún jì wǒ de mìng lìng ，

My son, if you will receive my words, and store up my commandments within you,

側耳聽智慧， 專心求聰明，

cè ěr tīng zhì huì ， zhuān xīn qiú cōng ming ，

so as to turn your ear to wisdom, and apply your heart to understanding;

呼求明哲， 揚聲求聰明，

hū qiú míng zhé ， yáng shēng qiú cōng ming ，

yes, if you call out for discernment, and lift up your voice for understanding;

尋找它，如尋找銀子， 搜求它，如搜求隱藏的珍寶，

xún zhǎo tā ， rú xún zhǎo yín zi ， sōu qiú tā ， rú sōu qiú yǐn cáng de zhēn bǎo ，

if you seek her as silver, and search for her as for hidden treasures;

你就明白敬畏耶和華， 得以認識上帝。

nǐ jiù míng bái jìng wèi yē hé huá ， dé yǐ rèn shi shén 。

then you will understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.

因為，耶和華賜人智慧； 知識和聰明都由他口而出。

yīn wèi ， yē hé huá cì rén zhì huì ； zhī shi hé cōng ming dōu yóu tā kǒu ér chū 。

For the LORD gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding.

他給正直人存留真智慧， 給行為純正的人作盾牌，

tā gěi zhèng zhí rén cún liú zhēn zhì huì ， gěi xíng wéi chún zhèng de rén zuò dùn pái ，

He lays up sound wisdom for the upright. He is a shield to those who walk in integrity,

為要保守公平人的路， 護庇虔敬人的道。

wèi yào bǎo shǒu gōng píng rén de lù ， hù bì qián jìng rén de dào 。

that he may guard the paths of justice, and preserve the way of his saints.

你也必明白仁義、公平、 正直、一切的善道。

nǐ yě bì míng bái rén yì 、 gōng píng 、 zhèng zhí 、 yí qiè de shàn dào 。

Then you will understand righteousness and justice, equity and every good path.

智慧必入你心； 你的靈要以知識為美。

zhì huì bì rù nǐ xīn ； nǐ de líng yào yǐ zhī shi wèi měi 。

For wisdom will enter into your heart. Knowledge will be pleasant to your soul.

謀略必護衛你； 聰明必保守你，

móu lüè bì hù wèi nǐ ； cōng ming bì bǎo shǒu nǐ ，

Discretion will watch over you. Understanding will keep you,

要救你脫離惡道 ， 脫離說乖謬話的人。

yào jiù nǐ tuō lí è dào ， tuō lí shuō guāi miù huà de rén 。

to deliver you from the way of evil, from the men who speak perverse things,

那等人捨棄正直的路， 行走黑暗的道，

nà děng rén shè qì zhèng zhí de lù ， xíng zǒu hēi àn de dào ，

who forsake the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness,

歡喜作惡， 喜愛惡人的乖僻，

huān xǐ zuò è ， xǐ ài è rén de guāi pì ，

who rejoice to do evil, and delight in the perverseness of evil,

在他們的道中彎曲， 在他們的路上偏僻。

zài tā men de dào zhōng wān qū ， zài tā men de lù shang piān pì 。

who are crooked in their ways, and wayward in their paths,

智慧要救你脫離淫婦， 就是那油嘴滑舌的外女。

zhì huì yào jiù nǐ tuō lí yín fù ， jiù shì nà yóu zuǐ huá shé de wài nǚ 。

to deliver you from the strange woman, even from the foreigner who flatters with her words,

她離棄幼年的配偶， 忘了上帝的盟約。

tā lí qì yòu nián de pèi ǒu ， wàng le shén de méng yuē 。

who forsakes the friend of her youth, and forgets the covenant of her God;

她的家陷入死地； 她的路偏向陰間。

tā de jiā xiàn rù sǐ dì ； tā de lù piān xiàng yīn jiān 。

for her house leads down to death, her paths to the departed spirits.

凡到她那裏去的，不得轉回， 也得不着生命的路。

fán dào tā nà lǐ qù de ， bù dé zhuǎn huí ， yě dé bù zhe shēng mìng de lù 。

None who go to her return again, neither do they attain to the paths of life.

智慧必使你行善人的道， 守義人的路。

zhì huì bì shǐ nǐ xíng shàn rén de dào ， shǒu yì rén de lù 。

Therefore walk in the way of good men, and keep the paths of the righteous.

正直人必在世上居住； 完全人必在地上存留。

zhèng zhí rén bì zài shì shàng jū zhù ； wán quán rén bì zài dì shàng cún liú 。

For the upright will dwell in the land. The perfect will remain in it.

惟有惡人必然剪除； 奸詐的，必然拔出。

wéi yǒu è rén bì rán jiǎn chú ； jiān zhà de ， bì rán bá chū 。

But the wicked will be cut off from the land. The treacherous will be rooted out of it.
