箴言 3

我兒，不要忘記我的法則 ； 你心要謹守我的誡命；

wǒ ér ， bú yào wàng jì wǒ de fǎ zé ； nǐ xīn yào jǐn shǒu wǒ de jiè mìng ；

My son, don’t forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments,

因為它必將長久的日子， 生命的年數與平安，加給你。

yīn wèi tā bì jiāng cháng jiǔ de rì zi ， shēng mìng de nián shù yǔ píng ān ， jiā gěi nǐ 。

for they will add to you length of days, years of life, and peace.

不可使慈愛、誠實離開你， 要繫在你頸項上，刻在你心版上。

bù kě shǐ cí ài 、 chéng shí lí kāi nǐ ， yào xì zài nǐ jǐng xiàng shàng ， kè zài nǐ xīn bǎn shàng 。

Don’t let kindness and truth forsake you. Bind them around your neck. Write them on the tablet of your heart.

這樣，你必在上帝和世人眼前 蒙恩寵，有聰明。

zhè yàng ， nǐ bì zài shén hé shì rén yǎn qián méng ēn chǒng ， yǒu cōng ming 。

So you will find favor, and good understanding in the sight of God and man.

你要專心仰賴耶和華， 不可倚靠自己的聰明，

nǐ yào zhuān xīn yǎng lài yē hé huá ， bù kě yǐ kào zì jǐ de cōng ming ，

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding.

在你一切所行的事上都要認定他， 他必指引你的路。

zài nǐ yí qiè suǒ xíng de shì shàng dōu yào rèn dìng tā ， tā bì zhǐ yǐn nǐ de lù 。

In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

不要自以為有智慧； 要敬畏耶和華，遠離惡事。

bú yào zì yǐ wéi yǒu zhì huì ； yào jìng wèi yē hé huá ， yuǎn lí è shì 。

Don’t be wise in your own eyes. Fear the LORD, and depart from evil.

這便醫治你的肚臍， 滋潤你的百骨。

zhè biàn yī zhì nǐ de dù qí ， zī rùn nǐ de bǎi gǔ 。

It will be health to your body, and nourishment to your bones.

你要以財物 和一切初熟的土產尊榮耶和華。

nǐ yào yǐ cái wù hé yí qiè chū shú de tǔ chǎn zūn róng yē hé huá 。

Honor the LORD with your substance, with the first fruits of all your increase;

這樣，你的倉房必充滿有餘； 你的酒醡有新酒盈溢。

zhè yàng ， nǐ de cāng fáng bì chōng mǎn yǒu yú ； nǐ de jiǔ zhà yǒu xīn jiǔ yíng yì 。

so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine.

我兒，你不可輕看耶和華的管教 ， 也不可厭煩他的責備；

wǒ ér ， nǐ bù kě qīng kàn yē hé huá de guǎn jiào ， yě bù kě yàn fán tā de zé bèi ；

My son, don’t despise the LORD’s discipline, neither be weary of his correction;

因為耶和華所愛的，他必責備， 正如父親責備所喜愛的兒子。

yīn wèi yē hé huá suǒ ài de ， tā bì zé bèi ， zhèng rú fù qīn zé bèi suǒ xǐ ài de ér zi 。

for whom the LORD loves, he corrects, even as a father reproves the son in whom he delights.

得智慧，得聰明的， 這人便為有福。

dé zhì huì ， dé cōng ming de ， zhè rén biàn wèi yǒu fú 。

Happy is the man who finds wisdom, the man who gets understanding.

因為得智慧勝過得銀子， 其利益強如精金，

yīn wèi dé zhì huì shèng guò dé yín zi ， qí lì yì qiáng rú jīng jīn ，

For her good profit is better than getting silver, and her return is better than fine gold.

比珍珠 寶貴； 你一切所喜愛的，都不足與比較。

bǐ zhēn zhū bǎo guì ； nǐ yí qiè suǒ xǐ ài de ， dōu bù zú yǔ bǐ jiào 。

She is more precious than rubies. None of the things you can desire are to be compared to her.

她右手有長壽， 左手有富貴。

tā yòu shǒu yǒu cháng shòu ， zuǒ shǒu yǒu fù guì 。

Length of days is in her right hand. In her left hand are riches and honor.

她的道是安樂； 她的路全是平安。

tā de dào shì ān lè ； tā de lù quán shì píng ān 。

Her ways are ways of pleasantness. All her paths are peace.

她與持守她的作生命樹； 持定她的，俱各有福。

tā yǔ chí shǒu tā de zuò shēng mìng shù ； chí dìng tā de ， jù gè yǒu fú 。

She is a tree of life to those who lay hold of her. Happy is everyone who retains her.

耶和華以智慧立地， 以聰明定天，

yē hé huá yǐ zhì huì lì dì ， yǐ cōng ming dìng tiān ，

By wisdom the LORD founded the earth. By understanding, he established the heavens.

以知識使深淵裂開， 使天空滴下甘露。

yǐ zhī shi shǐ shēn yuān liè kāi ， shǐ tiān kōng dī xià gān lù 。

By his knowledge, the depths were broken up, and the skies drop down the dew.

我兒，要謹守真智慧和謀略， 不可使她離開你的眼目。

wǒ ér ， yào jǐn shǒu zhēn zhì huì hé móu lüè ， bù kě shǐ tā lí kāi nǐ de yǎn mù 。

My son, let them not depart from your eyes. Keep sound wisdom and discretion,

這樣，她必作你的生命， 頸項的美飾。

zhè yàng ， tā bì zuò nǐ de shēng mìng ， jǐng xiàng de měi shì 。

so they will be life to your soul, and grace for your neck.

你就坦然行路， 不致碰腳。

nǐ jiù tǎn rán xíng lù ， bú zhì pèng jiǎo 。

Then you shall walk in your way securely. Your foot won’t stumble.

你躺下，必不懼怕； 你躺臥，睡得香甜。

nǐ tǎng xià ， bì bú jù pà ； nǐ tǎng wò ， shuì dé xiāng tián 。

When you lie down, you will not be afraid. Yes, you will lie down, and your sleep will be sweet.

忽然來的驚恐，不要害怕； 惡人遭毀滅，也不要恐懼。

hū rán lái de jīng kǒng ， bú yào hài pà ； è rén zāo huǐ miè ， yě bú yào kǒng jù 。

Don’t be afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it comes;

因為耶和華是你所倚靠的； 他必保守你的腳不陷入網羅。

yīn wèi yē hé huá shì nǐ suǒ yǐ kào de ； tā bì bǎo shǒu nǐ de jiǎo bú xiàn rù wǎng luó 。

for the LORD will be your confidence, and will keep your foot from being taken.

你手若有行善的力量，不可推辭， 就當向那應得的人施行。

nǐ shǒu ruò yǒu xíng shàn de lì liàng ， bù kě tuī cí ， jiù dāng xiàng nà yīng dé de rén shī xíng 。

Don’t withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it.

你那裏若有現成的，不可對鄰舍說： 去吧，明天再來，我必給你。

nǐ nà lǐ ruò yǒu xiàn chéng de ， bù kě duì lín shè shuō ： qù ba ， míng tiān zài lái ， wǒ bì gěi nǐ 。

Don’t say to your neighbor, “Go, and come again; tomorrow I will give it to you,” when you have it by you.

你的鄰舍既在你附近安居， 你不可設計害他。

nǐ de lín shè jì zài nǐ fù jìn ān jū ， nǐ bù kě shè jì hài tā 。

Don’t devise evil against your neighbor, since he dwells securely by you.

人未曾加害與你， 不可無故與他相爭。

rén wèi céng jiā hài yǔ nǐ ， bù kě wú gù yǔ tā xiāng zhēng 。

Don’t strive with a man without cause, if he has done you no harm.

不可嫉妒強暴的人， 也不可選擇他所行的路。

bù kě jí dù qiáng bào de rén ， yě bù kě xuǎn zé tā suǒ xíng de lù 。

Don’t envy the man of violence. Choose none of his ways.

因為，乖僻人為耶和華所憎惡； 正直人為他所親密。

yīn wèi ， guāi pì rén wéi yē hé huá suǒ zēng wù ； zhèng zhí rén wéi tā suǒ qīn mì 。

For the perverse is an abomination to the LORD, but his friendship is with the upright.

耶和華咒詛惡人的家庭， 賜福與義人的居所。

yē hé huá zhòu zǔ è rén de jiā tíng ， cì fú yǔ yì rén de jū suǒ 。

The LORD’s curse is in the house of the wicked, but he blesses the habitation of the righteous.

他譏誚那好譏誚的人， 賜恩給謙卑的人。

tā jī qiào nà hǎo jī qiào de rén ， cì ēn gěi qiān bēi de rén 。

Surely he mocks the mockers, but he gives grace to the humble.

智慧人必承受尊榮； 愚昧人高升也成為羞辱。

zhì huì rén bì chéng shòu zūn róng ； yú mèi rén gāo shēng yě chéng wéi xiū rǔ 。

The wise will inherit glory, but shame will be the promotion of fools.
